Thai Food 2 in Nürnberg

We were with you for the last time today. I'm very sorry, but what happened today is totally unacceptable. I order a vegan dish with tofu. Then there was meat on it, dish back. We even wanted to pay for it anyway and bring it to someone. New dish ordered. The menu said “basil and chili.” A plate arrived with half a kilo of green beans and almost raw broccoli. Then thick slices of zucchini. Which no one ordered. There was hardly any sauce either. My husband ordered something with Thai eggplant. There were three slices in there, the rest again thick slices of zucchini and half raw broccoli. It was the same dish, just a different sauce. The lady at the checkout also shouts at me and doesn't stop screaming. Then someone else comes and wants to tell me, “The beans are a meat substitute!” “No, that’s why I order tofu. What’s that supposed to mean?” There were 5 chunks of tofu in it. The rice was also mushy at the bottom. It almost disgusted me. Of course we didn't pay for the wrong food and took it with us. Let them throw it away, our food was paid for. Then they also charge extra for the tofu, but don't deduct the meat. Today was the last time. We really like the boss, but whenever he's not there, something happens and the lady today will never see me again. He almost jumped in the face. She yells at me. “You have to tell me if you don’t want beans!” Is she kidding me? There are no beans, no raw broccoli and no thick zucchini on the menu. So I'm so angry. 34€ for crap and trouble. The tables and benches weren't wiped down either. Never again!

We've been getting food here for years and haven't been disappointed once! Best “Thai to go” food in the area!

Please don't be fooled by the first glance from the street, the food is simply the best in the area!! We are happy to take a 25 minute drive every time.

Pick up… pure chaos. Everyone is overwhelmed and orders are piling up. Of course I stood in line for 30 minutes. Nobody was interested. Everything got cold. I'd rather drive to Nuremberg and wait there for a minute.

Unfortunately absolutely not comparable to Thaifood 1 on Bucher Straße! We were there on December 14th. There, waiting for over 10 minutes without even being noticed by the staff, which is amazing in a 5x5m room... It's noisy! by the people, but especially by the phone which rang almost 5 times in 10 minutes... Because of the takeaway service, almost someone comes in the door every minute and it keeps being opened again and again. We didn't eat there, which is why we can't rate it - after 16 minutes at our table without any reaction from the staff, we left...

They don't respond to special requests such as additional coriander or Thai basil and they act as if you don't understand anything. Service is harsh and unfriendly. It seems that the kitchen and service tick differently and the atmosphere is not good and the guests notice it! The tables are not wiped down, leftover food from previous guests on the tables. Too bad.

Went there for the first time today because it was recommended to us. The table was sticky, as was the menu, and a knife was still dirty. Out of 4 meals, 2 people were satisfied, 2 didn't like it. There was no sign of the promised leek, instead there were other vegetables. The house sauce was so sweet that it made you reconsider the taste of everything else. There was no service other than bringing the food. The house telephone rang so loudly during our stay that it almost gave us heart attack. Plus it was a.....cold. That was probably our first and last stay there.

First I would like to say that we enjoyed our meal fantastically. Ok, the red curry sauce looked watery and not creamy like I expected. But it wasn't a disadvantage in terms of taste, just the consistency in the mouth wasn't what I expected. My wife had fried rice and prawns and I had crispy duck in red curry with vegetables. In terms of taste and quality, it doesn't have to hide from any expensive restaurant, even if we're talking about a snack bar here. It was like a riot and you had to order and pay first before sitting at the table and waiting for the food to be brought. In our case, we had made the mistake of ordering starters. When we were first brought the main courses and we pointed out that we hadn't had the starters yet, the waiter didn't seem to care and he just ran away. A few minutes later, the starters came from another service. It also seemed to be noticeable that we were already in the middle of our main course. My wife, the good soul, was thanks to the fact that I didn't let the starters go back. But honestly, something like that has to be noticed at least when serving the starters when the guest is already eating the main courses. The simple ambience is certainly owed to the snack bar also that the tables between the guests are apparently not cleaned. Nevertheless, it is packed here and it is well attended, but in my opinion this is mainly due to the good taste and quality of the food. If you look at the price, then in my opinion the price-performance ratio is not true when it comes to service.

It seems like there is a new operator, which is a very, very shame. Food was great for years... now I've gotten something twice, twice it wasn't good. Half of the chicken was tough and inedible, next time I chose seared beef, which was edible but also tough. The rice is no longer of the usual quality.

As a regular who has been eating here for years, I unfortunately have to say that the taste has deteriorated extremely. The worst example was chicken with noodles and vegetables. Completely tasteless and the consistency was dry. I can't recommend it more.

My favorite dish (16a) is no longer as spicy as it once was, but Thai Food II is still my favorite Thai. Authentic cuisine, fresh, tasty, large selection, friendly staff, I've been eating there for 20 years now (it's shocking how time flies).

Tasty, large and filling portions. Only the chicken meat was a bit dry. Plus point for the only restaurant nearby that is still open after 2:30 p.m.

At first it took 30 minutes and then the food was packed to take away instead of eating here. Also, they took an order incorrectly. We had to wait another 20 minutes!

We often get something to eat here and are always very satisfied. Today I had a special dish no. 67 with Thai herbs that was one of the best things I've ever eaten! Thank you very much and I hope you add it to the regular menu.

A nice, small restaurant with delicious food, friendly service and a good price-performance ratio. Perfect for lunch or a quick small dinner.

I was recently there and ordered food to takeaway, 1 green chicken curry and 1 red chicken curry. the taste was ok but there was barely any chicken in both of the meals about 3 thinly sliced pieces of chicken in each meal. I was a regular customer a few years before untill they became increasingly greedy about their portions, I decided to give them another chance and I was wrong to do so. stay away!!!!

Went here for dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Food very tasty, prices still ok. What's annoying, however, is that in the summer the gas stove or something like that seems to break down regularly and we had to wait almost an hour for our food, even though there wasn't much going on. Uncool 😕 Also worth mentioning is the pleasantly designed outdoor area.

To pre-order and take away, or eat there. Fresh vegetables, crispy fried and great sauce for the dishes. You order and pay at the counter and the food is then brought to the table Sometimes a bit of a wait when it's busy. During this time you can, for example, watch how the food is freshly prepared.

Nice place to have a warm tasty meal with a very good price. Ofcourse it is in German spice level and not the real Thai. Had Thai green curry matched like 60 % to the original Thai green curry in Thailand .. amazing overall .. highly recommend .

Unfortunately I have to give one star because my experience at this restaurant was completely unacceptable. I bought fried rice and while eating it I discovered a dead animal that looked like a forest cockroach. This was not only disgusting, but also extremely shocking. It is obvious that appropriate hygiene standards are not being maintained here. The cleanliness in this store also leaves a lot to be desired - the overall picture gives the impression of a lack of care and hygiene. It's really disappointing to have to experience something like this. I definitely cannot recommend this place and will never eat here again.

Enjoy your meal. Service is friendly and accommodating. Portion size is sufficient. Tastes very good. Ambiance is okay. Reasonably priced. Parking spaces are in short supply. Especially not reserved ones for guests.

Something quick to eat, yes Asian food is good in itself. If a very well-controlled diabetic eats chicken with vegetables and rice and the value jumps to over 300 in a very short time, then this food cannot be recommended. Long live the additives!! For some people it can have extreme consequences. We won't eat here anymore. We also cannot recommend it

Apparently there are new owners. I've never received such friendly service here in the last few times, even though I've been coming here since it opened. Finally you enjoy coming here & the food is great as always!!

Had duck 🦆 with yellow curry. The thing was certainly fried 5 times and served with a water sauce with a bland taste for 14 euros - not edible and the shop itself is not trustworthy either :(

I was there with friends on Sunday evening. After I had been to the other two restaurants around 20 times, I wanted to be amazed again at Brettergartenstrasse. I was called the day after making the reservation by phone asking whether we would like a table outside or inside. I've never experienced anything like this before, so I was very pleased with this request! In a nutshell...the very good usual Thai Food 2 quality. If you want to experience Thailand in Nuremberg, you should definitely pay this restaurant a visit! Since I spontaneously picked up the bill for the group, I unfortunately neglected to leave a tip. But I'll do it again on my next visit!

Consistently very tasty food. The ambience is functional and good for a snack, as is the service. The only flaw: the lunch menu offering is reduced relatively early. At the Erlangen location you can look forward to a selection in the lunch menu for longer.

It was very pleasing that the young man spoke German perfectly on the phone. Order was prepared quickly. The prices are (yes, I know like everywhere!!) already steep!! But the food is also incredibly tasty! The ingredients are fresh and the finish was even crispy when I got home! A clear recommendation for us!!

Food very tasty! Unfortunately, the restaurant is not heated at all, so you can't really enjoy the good food if you're freezing! That's why no points for ambience. A pity…

In terms of taste, the original Thai cuisine is definitely the best. Price/performance is borderline, I think drinks are too expensive, the ambience is, well, it's just street food, so service is actually non-existent. But you know when you go in. For us, authentic food is most important.

Das Essen ist geschmacklich in Ordnung. Die Preise liegen bei 11 bis 14 EUR, was für mich für eine Imbissbude leider zu teuer ist. Als vollwertiges Restaurant kann ich es mangels Atmosphäre und Service nicht betrachten.

Leckeres authentisches Essen zu super Preisen. Leider war es im Restaurant kalt, sodass einige Gäste mit Jacke am Tisch ihr Essen gegessen haben.Bei annehmbaren Außentemperaturen aber kein Problem😉

War am 05.01.24 zum Essen hier, Reissuppe mit Huhn. Schmeckt ausgezeichnet und ist eine ordentliche Portion. Es gibt ausreichend Sitzplätze im Lokal und im Sommer auch draußen. Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen, kennen den Laden schon einige Jahre. Danke für das tolle Essen

Wirklich leckeres Essen und Zusatz Wünsche werden exzellent umgesetzt. Parkplätze sind je nach Tageszeit und Wochentag direkt vor dem Restaurant zu bekommen sonst kann es sein, dass man Mal etwas laufen muss. Lohnt sich aber!

Essen an sich super lecker. Aber die Preise sind so langsam extrem. 10€ für vegetarischen gebratenen Reis und Nudeln, das hat vor paar Wochen 7.50 gekostet. Website hat immer noch die alten Preise. Selbst chilli kostet extra - 1€

Gehobener Thai Imbiss mit super leckerem und authentischen Thai Food. Der Knaller war heute das Laab Ped, lauwarmer Entensalat mit vielen Kräutern und Limetten Dressing. Eine Geschmacksexplosion! Thai Food 2 immer wieder eine Empfehlung wert.

Stammgast seit das Westend-Diner ausgezogen ist, in den letzten 5-10Jahren wg. Wegzug nur noch gelegentlich. Relativ originale Küche, aber süßer als normal, das war bei unserem letzten Besuch moch nicht so.

Kurzurlaub in Thailand! Super netter Chef&Mitarbeiter, tolles Mittagsmenü mit einer Auswahl an 4-5 authentischen Gerichten, welche man auch Halb/Halb bekommt. Im Sommer gerne auf der schönen Terrasse.

Preis Leistung super. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut 👍. Für gepflegt Essen gehen, ehr nicht geeignet. Aber für ein schnelles Essen, empfehlenswert.

An der Lüftungsanlage muß gearbeitet werden! Bei den etwas höher angesetzten Preisen für ein Imbiss, sollte es möglich sein, daß man nach 10 min Aufenthalt nach Küche riecht.

Ich gehe sehr gerne hier essen am liebsten Papaya Salat

Obwohl es häufig überfüllt ist, sind die Mitarbeiterin ganz nett und notieren die Wünsche mit Geduld und Lächeln. Dort gibt es wenig Parkmöglichkeiten aber findet man bestimmt was. Die Gerichte schmecken sehr gut.

Eine Schale vegetarische Nudeln vom Massen-Mittagsmenü. Geschmacklos und mikrokleine Portion. Schalen sind eindeutig kleiner geworden. Dafür 8€ - Ich glaube es hackt!

Nu e nimic gătit, le face pe loc după comandă și durează câteva minute. Proaspăt și gustos. Cel mai mic preț din meniu 10 euro.

Ich hatte heute ein rotes Thai Curry mit Hühnchen und Gemüse. Geschmacklich total lecker, preislich passend, sehr freundlicher Service. Eine Empfehlung für die leckere Küche.

Vom Essen, über den Service, bis hin zum Ambiente passt einfach alles super 😉 werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.👍

Sehr leckeres thailändische Essen, das zudem noch günstiger ist als die meisten Restaurants dieser Art. Man kann sowohl draußen als auch innen sitzen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und das Essen kam stets sehr schnell. Ich werde öfter kommen.

Bin seit vielen Jahren Stammkunde, leider werden die Portionen zum mitnehmen immer kleiner die Preise werden jedoch angehoben. Früher war zb.der extra Reis 1Euro jetzt 2 Euro👎. Schade!

Unfriendly and rude, 4 out 6 tables were dirty..asked staff to clean...Said here is a cleaning cloth, do it yourself...when paying 19€ per person not expecting this sort of terrible service...food was good , service terrible on this visit and two previous out five...

Meiner Meinung nach der beste Asiate in Eibach und naher Umgebung. Das Personal ist bei der Abholung immer freundlich, man sieht wie das Essen frisch zubereitet wird und lange Wartezeiten gibt es auch nicht. Meist ist das Essen innerhalb von 15-20 Minuten zum Abholen bereit. Die Preise sind für die Größe der Portionen sehr angemessen. Das Konzept im Restaurant selbst mit den Getränken ist anfangs wahrscheinlich verwirrend. Sehr zu empfehlen von meiner Seite aus

Das Personal ist freundlich, das Essen geht schnell und von den Portionen wird man gut satt. Alles in allem ein guter Asiate für zwischendurch. Leider sind im letzten Jahr die Preise ziemlich erhöht worden, was ich nicht ganz rechtfertigen kann. Trotzdem gerne wieder.
