Thai Food 2 in Nürnberg

I'm practically a regular at this chain, usually at the Brettergartenstraße location in Nuremberg. I've also been to the Bärenschanzstraße location a few times, and recently, on my way home, I happened to stop by the Eibach location again, which wasn't my first time there either. However, this was my first time trying this main course, which isn't part of the regular menu: salmon with lots of dill and quite spicy. 😊 Since it wasn't very busy towards evening, they even cleared our plates. At Thai Food II, I've always had friendly service, the food is always delicious, and I also find their changing specials innovative, often including seasonal additions, like during asparagus or pumpkin season. Yes, simply a big thank you and much praise! 👍🏼

Pad Krapao Gai, I'll never try to cook that myself again. It was a delicious, authentic dish. Except that the portions are smaller in Thailand. I'm thrilled, I'll be coming here more often.

Despite the French-German language barrier, we were able to order what we wanted! The staff is patient and pleasant. The service was very fast, and they are efficient in the kitchen. The dishes are excellent! I particularly liked their duck specialty with noodles and their red curry coconut pork. Plenty of seating is available both inside and outside. Dogs are welcome outside.

Ate from the daily special today. Salmon with vegetables, nuts, and dark chili sauce. It couldn't be better. Vegetables, herbs, etc., all fresh and with a bite. Thaifood II Eibach used to be one of the best. As was already the case in Fürth, the staff was replaced, the quality of the kitchen and the friendliness of the staff decreased significantly. My ordered food. Stood ready at the counter for 20 minutes until the second dish was ready on time. A reference to this was dismissed as incorrect.

I love vegetarian laab and am a big fan of Thai food anyway. I usually eat at my favorite restaurant, Thai I, on Bucherstrasse. Yesterday I was in Eibach at Thai II as an exception. The food came incredibly quickly and it tasted exactly the same. The sauce was watery, the tofu wasn't even fried, and the rice was overcooked. I'm very disappointed and won't be coming back. Some restaurants whip up really good food in tiny kitchens. In large kitchens, things are often processed quickly

Rothe's Thai Curry (No. 7) has always been my favorite meal. We were always very satisfied with the food and therefore went to Thai food in Eibach very often. I ordered the No. 7 red Thai curry with chicken today and am super disappointed. For a few months now, No. 7 hasn't tasted anything like it always does. Sauce is very watery, has a very strange aftertaste, no longer has the “red” color and is way too spicy. Has the chef changed? Because that's exactly how it tastes right now, which is a shame because that was my favorite Thai...

But it was so incredibly spicy that it was inedible (I've eaten it many times, it was always spicy, but not inedible). The tom kha kai had 3 pieces of chicken. What a shame! But you also notice that there isn't that much going on anymore. Was almost empty - Friday evening. There used to be no space there.

Food is OK. A functional ventilation system in the dining area or, alternatively, a more powerful exhaust system in the kitchen would be strongly recommended. If the chef prepares spicy food, pepper spray could easily be used.

Were regulars for years, either for takeaway or eating on site. Today, however, 3 tablespoons of cheap vegetables, not fried crispy, very watery ready-made oyster sauce and overcooked cardboard from the day before. 2nd dish Thai salad with beef, unfortunately with dry chicken, no coriander, no chillies, no lemongrass, just large lettuce leaves and large tomatoes. Nothing more to do with Thai salad. Unfriendly staff, even with only 3 people inside. We felt the same way on our last visit. Unfortunately, but again a restaurant on the decline.

Heute zum 1. Mal etwas zum abholen bestellt. schnelle Zubereitung (15min.). Essen war gut verpackt und frisch. Das grüne, vegane Curry und die Frühlingsrollen waren super lecker. Das Curry war leicht scharf. Wir werden sicher noch öfter etwas bestellen. Klare Empfehlung!

Für uns leider enttäuschend. Das Essen war meiner Meinung nach nur durchschnittlich und dafür preislich nicht günstig. Wir haben im Innenraum gegessen und rochen danach stark nach Küche, was unangenehm war. Der Dunstabzug wurde scheinbar nicht genutzt, hätte aber helfen können, diesen Geruch zu minimieren. Insgesamt würden wir das Restaurant nicht weiterempfehlen.
