The Baan Prickynoo in Düsseldorf is more than just a restaurant for us during the trade fair - it is our salvation in culinary times! Regardless of whether we arrive with a whole company, show up way too late or are starving on the mat - the team remains relaxed, friendly and above all: flexible.
The food? An absolute hit! Authentically Thai, full of flavor and with that certain something that you won't quickly forget. The flambéed duck? A real spectacle – visually and taste-wise! As soon as the flames blaze, we know: the enjoyment is getting serious here.
Baan Prickynoo is our culinary trade fair hotspot that always leaves us full, happy and with a smile on our faces. Clear recommendation – even outside of trade fair times!
Today we ordered Pat Thai, Lab Gai and Sate skewers from Thai Food via Lieferando. It had nothing to do with original Thai food. Lab Gai is usually a very finely chopped chicken salad with rice. Chicken arrived in the form of sliced meat, with cucumbers and huge pieces of onion, an absolute disgrace and not edible. There was no rice there either. What kind of sauce was on the Pat Thai is also a complete mystery to me, the taste was a mixture of sweet and sour and shish kebab sauce. For 25 euros an absolute disgrace.
Nice cozy place, and the food is okay, and their service is friendly, but very unattentive. The issue is not that you're waiting ages for someone to come, the issue is they aren't around, and when they are, they aren't even looking at the tables.
The food is truly delicious, authentic Thai food, albeit at German prices. And the service is a disaster. Inattentive, overwhelmed, and unfriendly. When I compare this to Thailand 🇹🇭 in terms of service and friendliness, I have to say, unfortunately, that's not practiced or understood here!
One of the worst Thai restaurants. The ambience is the only nice thing. All three dishes were completely tasteless and needed to be seasoned. This was also communicated to the waiter afterwards, but again, unfortunately, there was no concession and all for a hefty price. A Thai snack bar around the corner is much better and cheaper.
The food was vile. The calamari was old and stale and greasy. The cury was thick, salty and nasty. I made a mistake and ordered here instead of the one in Kreuzberg. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!! Horrible food.
As a lover of Thai cuisine, I absolutely recommend. Wide choice of dishes that respect the true traditional flavors (Difficult for Thai cuisine). Also a selection of dishes from the Isaan region. Very good. Externally it certainly needs improvement, it seems like entering a shabby place but inside it seems like being in one of those places with a familiar, and at times a bit trashy, atmosphere, typical of Thai.
We recently ordered food here and received meat that was inedible (completely raw).
We also received raw dough.
When I called, I was told someone would look into it and contact the owner to find a solution, but no one ever called back or responded!
Cute little restaurant on the west side of Berlin with amazing food and service. I had the best coconut milk soup I’ve ever had and pad Thai with prawns. Seasoning was perfection!
