One of several Prickynoo Thai restaurants in Düsseldorf that has stood for good quality at fair prices for many years. The on-site restaurant recently switched to plated-only dining, citing the ability to make service easier, quicker and keep prices stable. That didn't bother me. The food was delicious and as seasoned as ever. As always, I left super satisfied. Perfect for your lunch break. Prickynoo, I remain loyal to you!
Today we ordered Pat Thai, Lab Gai and Sate skewers from Thai Food via Lieferando. It had nothing to do with original Thai food. Lab Gai is usually a very finely chopped chicken salad with rice. Chicken arrived in the form of sliced meat, with cucumbers and huge pieces of onion, an absolute disgrace and not edible. There was no rice there either. What kind of sauce was on the Pat Thai is also a complete mystery to me, the taste was a mixture of sweet and sour and shish kebab sauce. For 25 euros an absolute disgrace.
Coming from the Allgäu, we spontaneously got a seat even though the restaurant was full! Super friendly warm service! Fast service and such delicious dishes! Thank you very much, we'll be back
Nice cozy place, and the food is okay, and their service is friendly, but very unattentive. The issue is not that you're waiting ages for someone to come, the issue is they aren't around, and when they are, they aren't even looking at the tables.
Centrally located. Parking garage in the immediate vicinity.
Large card, order was taken quickly.
Unfortunately, I didn't like the shrimp in the red curry with shrimp. Too bad for the price. Otherwise everything is fine!
Perfect terasse/balcony and tasteful interieur. Simply cozy. Not cheap but very authentic. Kind service allthough a but distant. A good alternative when you visit Stuttgart.
We recently ordered food here and received meat that was inedible (completely raw).
We also received raw dough.
When I called, I was told someone would look into it and contact the owner to find a solution, but no one ever called back or responded!
This restaurant was not as good as the reviews said. We ordered take out and had to wait an hour for the food, when I arrived to pick up the food I had to wait in the restaurant as well. We had a big order and I paid almost 200 euros, but when I arrived at home a few minutes later I saw that the delivery bag had become wet. The containers the food came in were awful, the lids did not sit on properly so the food spilled. The bag broke before I could the food in the house and one of the dishes spilled on the street. When you pay about 24 euros for one dish the containers and bags should be spill proof. An awful experience, we will never order from there again.
The stylishly furnished restaurant extends over two floors and offers plenty of space for groups of all sizes. Anyone who would like to find out more about the offer will currently be redirected to Uber Eats. There you can choose between delivery and collection. If you want to eat on site, order at the checkout and the food will then be brought to your table.
Main dishes on the extensive menu range between 11.50 and 16 euros. The kitchen was probably once open, but is now hidden behind smoked glass. Our table is sticking, which according to the staff is due to the paint used and not due to a lack of cleaning - still a disturbing detail that is also repeated upstairs.
I have already ordered: "Fried Rice T-S (Fried jasmine rice, carrots, egg, broccoli, tomatoes, lime, garlic and cilantro. Soy sauce with fresh lime)". The “T-S” is said to stand for “Thai Style”. The portion is clear, just lukewarm, mushy rice is shared on the plate with hot vegetables. In terms of taste, it falls short of expectations of Thai cuisine.
Conclusion: “Thai style” is just not Thai.
