Lemongrass in Berlin

Mehr als 4,2 wert, wenn man das richtige Gericht bestellt. Mir persönlich gefällt es. Frisch, günstig und gute Atmosphäre. Der Milchtee ist mir allerdings etwas zu süß.

Authentisches Thai-Essen Empfehlung: Gaeng Matsaman (mit Tofu) Ich genieße dieses Gericht seit 13 Jahren und es ist immer noch absolut köstlich: reichhaltig im Geschmack, gut gewürzt und eine perfekte Mischung aus Gemüse, Kartoffeln und Tofu (oder Fleisch). Ich habe schon viele Currys probiert, aber dieses ist eines meiner Lieblingsgerichte (in Deutschland).

Der schnelle Hunger trieb mich am ersten Tag meines Berlin-Trips ins Lemongrass. Ein kleiner, feiner Thai mit kleiner Karte und schnellem, sehr freundlichem Service.

Ich war wegen der negativen Bewertungen, insbesondere der Online-Bestellung von Pad Thai, etwas besorgt, aber es waren genügend Garnelen drin und es hat ziemlich gut geschmeckt. :) Ich habe schon in vielen verschiedenen Ländern, darunter auch Thailand, Pad Thai gegessen, aber dieses hier war meiner Meinung nach ziemlich authentisch.

Eine meiner schlimmsten Erfahrungen in diesem Restaurant. Ich habe 40 Euro bezahlt, aber es hat scheußlich geschmeckt. Meiden Sie die Restaurants lieber – die Wartezeit ist viel zu lang.

Das Essen erinnerte mich wirklich an Thailand. Und es war sehr preiswert. Besonders gut fand ich, dass ich ein richtig scharfes Gericht ohne die zusätzliche Süße bekam, die in vielen asiatischen Restaurants in Deutschland gerne dazugegeben wird, wenn man etwas Scharfes bestellt.

Ich lieb’s. Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant – seit vielen Jahren. Wer wirklich authentisch thailändisch essen und super freundlich „bedient“ werden möchte, ist hier genau richtig. ✅

Ich habe eine Bestellung aufgegeben und ausdrücklich gesagt, dass ich allergisch gegen Zwiebeln bin. Sie müssen bei solchen Dingen viel vorsichtiger sein – Sie könnten jemanden ernsthaft gefährden. 20 € einfach in den Müll geworfen. Null Verantwortung.

Sehr leckeres Essen, fast immer das selbe gegessen wo ich in der Nähe noch gearbeitet habe. Mitarbeiter und Köche sehr nett warte Zeit auf das Essen ca. 10-15min was perfekt ist in meinen Augen.

Bestellen Sie hier weder online noch über Lieferdienste! Ich habe über anderthalb Stunden gewartet und war extrem unzufrieden. Ich werde hier nie wieder bestellen!

Tolles Lokal, wir bestellen regelmäßig dort, und es ist jedes Mal äußerst lecker und frisch. Zudem sind die Mitarbeiter*innen super freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Habe Graprau Saeb und Pho Pia Jee Frühlingsrollen bestellt, beides leider absolut ungenießbar. Die Frühlingsrollen waren matschig und der Teig innen war noch halb roh? Sehr rätselhaft, noch nie erlebt. Das Graprau hatte einen ultra penetranten parfümartigen Geschmack, der alles übertönt, nach ich weiss nicht was, jedenfalls nichts was ich jemals in einem Graprau / Krapao geschmeckt hätte. Konnte nur ein paar Gabeln essen aber habe den Geschmack immer noch penetrant im Mund. Beide Gerichte waren so leider ungeniessbar, habe mit Mühe nicht mal die Hälfte geschafft. Schade um die Zutaten. Kann eigentlich kaum glauben dass das Essen so schmecken soll bzw. immer so schlecht schmeckt, weil mit solchem Essen sollte sich einfach kein Laden halten können.

Das beste Pad Thai aller Zeiten!

Wir bestellen hier schon lange und es ist das beste Thai-Essen, das wir in Berlin gefunden haben. Es ist immer sehr schmackhaft und die Portionen sind riesig. Wenn wir Beilagen bestellen, reicht das Hauptgericht für zwei Mahlzeiten. Die Getränke sind köstlich und selbst bei Lieferung nie wässrig. Unser einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass das Liefergebiet geändert wurde und wir jetzt außerhalb liegen! Dieses Restaurant war unsere erste Wahl, wenn wir nach einem anstrengenden Tag Essen nach Hause bestellen wollten. Wir werden das Restaurant auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen, aber es wird uns sehr schwerfallen, Lemongrass durch einen anderen Lieferdienst zu ersetzen. Keiner der anderen ist so gut!

Unglaublich gutes thailändisches Essen. Wenn ich im Todestrakt säße, würde ich mir wahrscheinlich ihr Massaman-Entencurry als letzte Mahlzeit aussuchen.

Wir fanden das Essen beide nicht gut. Verkochtes Gemüse, überzogene Süße, laut und unruhig durch die permanent ein- und ausgehenden Lieferanten. Meiner Rückmeldung, dass das Essen uns nicht schmeckte begegnete man recht desinteressiert. Wir gehen dort nicht mehr hin.

Wolt-Bestellung. Ich habe zum ersten Mal Essen bestellt. Die paar Male, die ich persönlich dort war, war das Essen in Ordnung. Da sie für ihr Pad Thai bekannt sind, habe ich es mit dem Hinweis „5/5 scharf“ bestellt – schließlich ist es Thai. Was ich bekam, war jedoch überhaupt nicht scharf, und die Süße der Austernsauce (oder was auch immer sie verwenden) war viel zu intensiv. Es schmeckte nicht authentisch, keine Aromen oder Gewürznuancen – einfach nur nach Einheitssauce. Ich hatte auch das Gefühl, dass mehr frische Zutaten hätten verwendet werden können. Ich war ziemlich enttäuscht und musste selbst Chilischoten hinzufügen, um es ordentlich scharf zu machen. Schade, denn es sollte ja ein typisches Gericht sein.

Bestes Pad Thai außerhalb von Thailand.....nur ein bisschen schärfer

Kleines gemütliches Ambiente mir sehr guter Auswahl an Gerichten. Superschnelle und köstliche Zubereitung. Wir haben uns sehr Wohl gefühlt.

Pad Thai bestellt welches kaum erkennbar war. Selbst für den Kellner, der genau schauen musste, wem er den Teller reicht und was er da hatte. Sehr ölig. Seeeehr ölig.

Sehr schmackhaftes Entenfleisch mit Reis und Kokosmilchsauce

Ich besuchte dieses Restaurant, nachdem ich die vielen guten Bewertungen gelesen hatte und es in der Nähe lag. Da ich kurzfristig reserviert hatte, rechnete ich mit Wartezeit, wurde aber sofort platziert. Ich entschied mich für die Entenspezialität und war von den ersten Bissen an absolut begeistert. Die rote Thai-Currysauce war perfekt ausbalanciert – herzhaft, süß und scharf – und die knusprige Ente war einfach köstlich. Ein paar Abende später waren wir wieder in der Gegend und ich dachte: „Hier muss ich unbedingt wieder hin!“ Also gingen wir erneut hin. Ich war versucht, etwas anderes zu bestellen, entschied mich aber schließlich für dasselbe Gericht wie am Vorabend, das mir schon so lange im Kopf herumspukte. Ich würde wahrscheinlich sogar extra nach Berlin fahren, nur um das Lemongrass zu besuchen. Ich war total begeistert vom Essen, dem freundlichen und schnellen Service und dem hervorragenden Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

I've been a regular at Lemongrass for over 10 years now – ever since I moved to Berlin. It's one of my absolute favorite restaurants! The chefs and waitresses are always incredibly warm and welcoming, greeting us with a smile every time. The food is simply heavenly – no matter which dish I've tried, it's always been fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. My absolute favorite is Phad Sam Rod, and the best part is: the waitress always knows exactly what we want – two Phad Sam Rod and a large Diet Coke 😄 Even if I haven't been there for a few months, she remembers us immediately. After all these years, I can only say: for me, it's the best Thai food in all of Berlin!

Terrible service!!! I ordered my dish with plain chicken (not breaded chicken!) because I can't eat eggs, and yet the chicken came breaded. After which the restaurant refused to reimburse me in any way because, apparently, I didn't read well enough what I'm ordering. So, in some dishes their Huhn comes breaded, and in some it doesn't, and you must miraculously know which one is which?! Needless to say, me and my group of friends and relatives won't be their customers anymore.

There was a sharp metal thing ca. 3cm x2 cm in our food, when told about it, they causally said ‚sorry ya‘ (that dish was not charged), food very salty (was told this is how they do in Thailand)

My go to dish at Lemongrass is Masaman Curry ☺️ Never had anything else because it's quite close to what I ate in southern Thailand 🤝

Very good Thai Kitchen, with a variety of dishes. We been here three times and all of them it was a fantastic experience. Service could practice more courtesy with the guests.

Dont usually write a review. Food was salty but cheap thats a plus However, the service was awful. It was pathetic. Ignorant, aggresive and careless. The sever herself would know what I mean. The worst restaurant in Berlin out of 20 days total in Berlin due to the female server's vehavior. Don't go if you dont want to ruin your precious dinner time.

I used to come to this restaurant a few years ago regularly today I was in and I want to have some Thai food when I went down I realized how heavy the smell was inside. So I sat outside. The shop wasn’t very busy. The waitress took sometime to bring the menu to me (5min, empty shop). And she was frowning and this vibe “what do you want,he?” I ordered my food and it took forever to come. When I asked her about it she just made a hand wave “yeah yeah it will come “ I had the impression she might have forgotten about it. The food came and it was damn salty. Way way too much salt. I could not get a hold of anyone so I attempted some nibbles here and there and left more than the half on the plate. And when paying I told her it was way too salty. She said nothing. Not an apology, god forbid a voucher or not charging me. She got extra grumpy when I did not tip her. So folks, I say meh, don’t got there. The hood has lots of places with good food

Even though I’m not usually a big fan of Thai food, I have to say their dishes are absolutely delicious. I especially recommend the Tom Yam soup with the crispy fish.

Order a one of my favorites Thai dishes, a Pad Thai bei Uber Eats, just to try it because I wasn't sure about many reviews, and yep, they were right. First of all the pad Thai unfortunately didn't taste at all as such, just noodles and some pad Thai ingredients but the sauce was completely different, with a kind of sweet chilly sauce... second of all, I add in the notes, "bitte scharf" and the dish was extremely spicy to eat because of the extreme amount of red chilly all over the plate. I know to ask for scharf can be risky, but most of the Thai restaurants don't add such amount unless you ask for "Thai scharf", it's clear in the picture the dish looks red. I Won't never order here again. Not recommended for real Thai food lovers.

Okay taste for the western palate, unauthentic thai dishes, random vegetables put in there like sharp bamboo pieces that can actually cut you, as well as other vegetables that don’t belong in thai dishes just to fill up the plate.

So dear ones, I have to give some feedback now. We have been customers for 3 years and actually order very regularly. However, the quality has already deteriorated considerably. We were super disappointed the last few times - and now again!!!!! Pad Thai is now JUST NOODLES. And 2 shrimps. Tastes like nothing. I think that was the last time. It's a real shame ☹️

The food is poor quality, it's a shame, some time ago we ate in this restaurant and everything was great and now we decided to order online and the food is really bad. The rice is inedible, the meat is poorly cooked and tastes bad. In short, what a shame.

The delivery was made personally on site. Extra requests, such as the inclusion of a gluten-free dish, were also explicitly taken into account. The whole team was thrilled with the dishes. The quality-price ratio of this restaurant is incredible, even for someone who comes from Spain. The atmosphere of the neighborhood in which it is located is great. And this makes it even better. Unfortunately, I suffered severe food poisoning after the red curry with chicken. Unfortunately, hygiene doesn't seem to play a big role here. Although I've eaten there several times before, the quality was really disappointing this time. The consequences were extremely unpleasant - I vomited all night long. Not only was it harmful to one's health, but it was also a very traumatic experience. Really very ugly!

One of the worse Thai restaurants in Berlin and probably the worst in the neighborhood. Example: in the curries there is almost no meat at all, more soup. Phad Thai: simply overcooked noodles = mush. Shrimp still raw. Incredibly bad.

Might be personal preference, but this is my favourite place to get pad Thai in the whole world. Whenever I'm in Berlin, I have to get the tofu pad Thai and vegetable spring rolls. The portions run large, but the value for money is amazing. I'd recommend skipping lunch, and then coming here later. You won't be disappointed. Staff are lovely and efficient. I've always been able to grab a table last minute.

Actually the food doesn't deserve a star. We had the food delivered. The starter plate was with old sizzled meat. Food was cold. I had duck with pineapple, lychee and coconut milk. Creepy. The sauce is pure purest. The broad dish should be with peanut sauce and vegetables. Vegetables and the sauce were completely missing. And just under €45 for that. Shame on this idiot. Never again, rarely eaten so badly.

The food was not good! We ordered on Wolt, and - the red curry was too sweet - the Pad Thai was too salty and didn’t taste like a usual Pad Thai, instead it was soy sauce heavy and too spicy. - the spring rolls were very greasy and oily, hard to eat. We had also ordered the Vytal reusable containers with the right amount of containers and the Vytal token no. in the comments of the order, as instructed. Yet it came in regular disposable containers.

Food was OK, local service was poor. The waitress is constantly chatting and doesn't check on the guests. It wasn't easy to get her attention. We asked to pack the remaining food. We then had to pack up ourselves... That could have been her tip.

The dish is authentically Thai and suits Asian and German tastes as it is slightly salty and has a spicy taste. Delicious drink suitable for Asian tastes. Suggestion: The restaurant should make more papaya salad and add more types of water.
