Fair portions, very tasty food!!

We were fortunate to get a table on a midweek evening, and the restaurant was nearly full. The food was tasty, and the service was friendly. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Actually the food doesn't deserve a star. We had the food delivered. The starter plate was with old sizzled meat. Food was cold. I had duck with pineapple, lychee and coconut milk. Creepy. The sauce is pure purest. The broad dish should be with peanut sauce and vegetables. Vegetables and the sauce were completely missing. And just under €45 for that. Shame on this idiot. Never again, rarely eaten so badly.

The food was not good! We ordered on Wolt, and - the red curry was too sweet - the Pad Thai was too salty and didn’t taste like a usual Pad Thai, instead it was soy sauce heavy and too spicy. - the spring rolls were very greasy and oily, hard to eat. We had also ordered the Vytal reusable containers with the right amount of containers and the Vytal token no. in the comments of the order, as instructed. Yet it came in regular disposable containers.

The food came after a long wait

Contrary to many fake reviews of surrounding restaurants, you can get very good food here. (a resident)

Food was OK, local service was poor. The waitress is constantly chatting and doesn't check on the guests. It wasn't easy to get her attention. We asked to pack the remaining food. We then had to pack up ourselves... That could have been her tip.

The restaurant is pretty good. Enthusiastic, attentive service. The space is comfortable and the music is gentle. The dish is authentically Thai and suits Asian and German tastes as it is slightly salty and has a spicy taste. Delicious drink suitable for Asian tastes. Suggestion: The restaurant should make more papaya salad and add more types of water.

ordered their food through uber eats, the delivery was quick but the food made me lose my appetite. the shrimp in my spring rolls were RAW. the veins protruding and everything. it wasnt just in one roll but all the shrimp in the spring rolls were just semi raw. also ordered the pad thai and it just tastes weird. the sauce was kind of sour in an unappetizing way and the noodles were overcooked. the soup was just okay… i wouldn‘t order here again, solely based on the raw shrimp experience. stomach was acting weird after that.

Long delivery times, even though ordered 90 minutes in advance. Terrible food. Greasy, oily and not spicy or spicy at all. They have nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with Thai, or rather in a wok. Plus it's pretty expensive. Never again!

Under no circumstances should you order Lemongras online, delivery takes ages. The food is super tasty.

This is the second time I've been here and the food is fantastic like the first time. The waitress was very friendly and gave good recommendations. I will come again when I am in Berlin.

I ordered food from Lemongrass and unfortunately was extremely disappointed with the entire experience. First of all, the delivery was delayed by over 40 minutes, which was very annoying. But when the food finally arrived, it was an absolute disaster. The packaging was completely soaked and the bag was soggy due to the pad thai sauce leaking out. The bowl was opened and the food was inedible. I am shocked at the poor condition the food was delivered in and will definitely never order from here again. Such negligence in terms of packaging and delivery is unacceptable.

I always order from lemon grass ( Gaeng kiaw wan curry) but today i received the most disgusting dish. The green curry tastes horrible smells so bad like its expired like its poison. I ordered two portions for me and my friend and both tasted horrible. I always get this dish so i know what its supposed to taste like. the veggies were undercooked and all in all it was a bad experience the food is clearly inedible we had to throw it immediately away. im so disappointed and so sad for the money I wasted down the drain. I lost my trust in this place and I’m never coming over or ordering again. I ordered today 31.08.2024 around 7pm the order got delivered via Uber Eats around 7:35 PM and my order number was #609AA

Used to be a big fan but after eating there yesterday. Never again! Even though the restaurant was empty, I waited forever. Chairs and cards stick disgustingly. To top it all off, I've been having violent vomiting and diarrhea since eating. They don't seem to know hygiene there.

Beautifully tasty, very friendly and nice service. You have to expect huge portions. I'm thrilled, gladly again!!!

My favorite Thai restaurant in Friedrichshain. I love the massaman curry and order here very often.

order here often via Uber eats but went in and sat down (12.08, around 2pm). food was fine but service left a sour taste in my mouth. waitress asked for a tip in a weird way and I simply rounded up which is very normal in Germany and she rolled her eyes and said she didn’t want such a small tip so just took the billed amount. shocking behaviour.

Food tastes good but I and my friend suffered from stomachache for one week after phad thai here..

The taste took me straight back to Thailand. Prices are slightly lower at lunchtime, so you can have a lunch break here for under €10, which is a rarity in the area.

It's a shame, the focus is clearly on preparing packaged meals for various delivery services. Quality and attention to guests in the restaurant has declined significantly. So I will set priorities and only come here rarely.

The Lemongrass Pad Thai is very well balanced.

Have already had chicken or shrimp delivered in the summer rolls twice instead of tofu! Even though tofu was explicitly stated! Very disappointed. Especially as a vegan. The restaurant is not recommended

The most ordinary Thai food, tasty and at reasonable prices

Yes for delivery pad thai, no for dining in and most other dishes. It's decent quality, just doesn't taste authentic enough for me.

Main reason for the negative review is the amount of time it took to get the food. I ordered for takeaway and everyone who came in after me was served food before me, including online orders. I said this to the server and she said she didn’t know why it had happened and apologized. The food itself is fine but waiting 30 minutes in the rain while everyone is being served is insulting.

Environment is not very clean. The food is prepared, not very fresh. They expect more tips otherwise they are not rude.

We had a really nice food here. Tasty duck with noodles. Fast service and reasonable prices.

My go to place for work lunch. The food is incredibly tasty. Try Massaman curry or fried rice. Owner is very friendly and great service. Don’t come too late as it gets very busy sometimes. You can pay cash or card There is also vegan options!

Worst pad Thai I have ever eaten. It's super salty and too wet. I have to drink half a glass of water after one bite. I added an extra noodles and it was still super salty, so I had to leave it😢 But the fried rice is good. Service attitude is a bit rude but acceptable

Had lunch here on monday, the food didn’t look too fresh, many parts of the lettuce was brown but I took the risk. Shouldn’t have done it obviosuly — the stomach pain and what came after that was out of this world. I see other people have had problems with food poisoning here so thought I should share my experience, too. Have loved their food for years and years but not sure if I dare to come back again.

What can I say… I am addicted to their fried rice 🥰. Everything I tried on their menu has been delicious and nicely portioned.

I just had the best duck Pad See Ew of my life here. Ordered it for takeaway and the duck was still extremely crisp yet juicy. Noodles were cooked perfectly and the seasoning was lovely, plus a nice (though not always considered traditional) presence of five-spice. I say this just days after I’ve returned from my second trip to Thailand, and countless times eating great Thai food in NYC. It’s seriously that good.

The food was really good. But not authentically Thai, I would say it had more of a Vietnamese touch. Nevertheless, it tasted good. We had 4 drinks, a starter and 2 main courses and left the restaurant happy with around €28 per person. Gladly again for a chilled, relaxed atmosphere.

I have ordered here a few times and was very satisfied until recently. Until I arrive on April 19th. I ordered Pad Thai with chicken and had to go to the hospital the morning after because of very severe stomach pain. I was hospitalized for three days and the doctor suspected that something was wrong with the food. A friend of mine who ordered from Lemongrass independently of me on the same day (Pad Thai with shrimp) also had complaints after eating. Since other people seem to have experienced something similar to what the reviews suggest, I would recommend that the operators pay better attention to kitchen hygiene in the future and I personally will avoid the restaurant in the future.

Super delicious food, lemongrass soup and crispy duck are the best

I came spontaneously and without a reservation in the evening during the week and was immediately warmly welcomed by the staff. There was excellent Pad Thai and a Fanta to eat. The price was also okay and you can pay with cash or card. There is only a small deduction for the location. There is a bit of a squeeze between the tables and other guests as it is quite a small restaurant. (There will definitely be more seating options outside when the weather gets better!) In any case, the lemongrass is so good that I'll be going back there soon with more friends. :)

Great selection of delicious Thai dishes! I ordered a lemon grass pad Thai with tofu and a freshly made peppermint tea. The restaurant is really cozy, located in Berlin-Friedrichshain, near Boxhagener Platz. Friendly service, quick service and great value for money. Highly Recommended!

Four of us ate here and had a great evening, we had the best Tom Khan around and there is a huge range of vegan options too. The Samui Drink is also recommended. We will be back

What an absolute delight. Feeling a little worse for wear and didn’t know what we felt like when we stumbled upon this establishment and wow wee - it was what the doctor ordered. The lemongrass drink was quite quenching perfection and don’t get me started on the pad Thai duck. A great meal + great service.

Nice, small and inconspicuous restaurant with very good cuisine. Food came quickly and tasted super fresh and delicious. Really very well priced. Service is very on point, but there is a lot of hustle and bustle in the place. But it wasn't bothersome for us. We'd love to come back :)

I was passing by this place and the Tom Yum soup looked delicious so I decided to book for the evening. My mum’s pad Thai was truly delicious while I was expecting better from the green curry — I kinda left hungry, the portion wasn’t big. Anyway for the price I will definitely come back again, surely for the pad Thai. They had many take away orders but the staff, the guy who served us in particular, was attentive and kind with clients in the restaurant. Thank you!

We've enjoyed eating here for years. Now my daughter and my husband shared a portion of egg rice with shrimp. They both had bad stomach cramps, severe diarrhea and vomiting for a whole day afterwards. It was definitely the food. I had Pad Thai with tofu. I was fine. But unfortunately the trust in the store is now gone.

We had a very nice lunch there. The staff was friendly and the food tasted fresh and delicious.

Sehr leckere Gerichte. Hatte eine Ente mit Reisnudeln. Alles hat frisch geschmeckt und das Gericht hatte eine gute Schärfe.

I had a few incidents where the waitress was rude and demanding a tip, and for that reason I didn't go anymore for quite some time, but today I went again just to give it another chance, I was served by a guy that was super friendly and welcoming and all went spectacular! Habe hier sehr gut thailändisch vegan zu Abend gegessen. Zutaten waren frisch. Zitronengras und Koriander Anteil war sehr gut abgestimmt. Hatte das Phad Thai mit Tofu und eine Suppe. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Gerne wieder.

Hab für 22,5€ Vorspeise, Hauptspeise und ein Getränk gehabt. Super Preis und richtig leckeres Essen. Leider kam meine Suppe gleichzeitig mit der Hauptspeise, beides war aber so heiß dass das kein Problem war. Außerdem hat es vom Geschmack komplett überzeugt.

Das Pad-Thai war super schnell fertig und super lecker.

Komme gerne und oft zu lemongrass und alle Gerichte schmecken sehr gut. Kleiner Tipp: lasse mir inzwischen immer lieber etwas empfehlen und mich überraschen. Der Service ist ausgezeichnet freundlich und man merkt, dass das ganze Team gerne Gastgeber ist.

Absolute Empfehlung. War mit Leuten dort, die öfter mal durch Thailand und Umgebung reisen. Das Essen ist wohl ziemlich authentisch. Ich persönlich mag es gerne etwas schärfer und muss sagen, dass es im Lemongrass auch so serviert wird. Wenn "spicy" in der Karte steht, dann passiert da auch was. Der Laden an sich ist eher eng gestaltet. Tut dem Ganzen aber keinen Abbruch. Das Lemongrass passt genau so wie es ist in die Gegend, wo es ist. Die Portionen sind überraschend groß, die Karte sehr vielfältig. Die Beliebtheit des Lemongrass wird am ständigen Kommen und Gehen diverser Lieferdienste deutlich. Der Service am Tisch war tadellos. Fazit: im Lemongrass kann man sich mal blicken lassen. Wirklich top.

Das Essen war weniger als durchschnittlich. Der service auch nicht gut. Ambiente - nicht vorhanden - ein weiteres Berliner Restaurant ohne Seele. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Essen authentisch und sehr lecker. Service sehr freundlich und sehr schnell. Einzig die vielen Lieferando Fahrer am Tresen trüben die Gemütlichkeit.

Had an amazing evening at the restaurant! Was craving some good Asian for some days now and was not disappointed at all - great food, lovey people. This restaurant was one of the first Thai restaurants in Friedrichshain and it still goes strong, which says it all. Always recommend it to all my friends and people visiting!

I order phad kimao but their is noodles on what i order,when i ask the waitress why? She is so not friendly, she did not even explain why. She told me in a high voice ‘only one noodles and you care about it?She is very rude because she just leave after. I will not recommend this restaurant very bad services. I only want them to say sorry but they did not. I complain because im allergy of wheat.

Wir kommen seit Jahren her - super leckeres Phad Thai! Sehr leckeres Essen, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Waren heute zu viert hier, 1 Vorspeise, 4 Hauptgerichte, 2x Wein, 2x Bier = 68€, (17€ pP) kann man echt nicht meckern - vor allem da die meisten Geschäfte mit der Inflation nur noch ein Hauptgericht ohne Getränk für diesen Preis anbieten! Portionsgröße passt um gut satt zu werden! Service aufmerksam und freundlich. Gerne wieder!
