Nice place, the food and the ambience were good. The ladies in service were also nice, but unfortunately most of the service takes place at the counter and not at the table. I also generally don't like it when I can see into the kitchen and the cooks are standing there talking on their cell phones with their protective gloves on. Hygiene is a very important point for me. Overall, a place I would go to again. We ate well, I can recommend the chicken burger.

The food was super tasty. I had Thai curry with rice noodles and duck and my friend had the same only with rice. We also had delicious mojitos. Very service was friendly and quick. The portions were very generous. I didn't finish my curry and my friend was really struggling too 🤭 I would eat there again and again!

As with every Kittichai visit, the food was top notch. This time we tried something new, mango curry with duck and red curry with peanut sauce and duck. Price-performance ratio is great for the portions and you will be full. The service was friendly as always.

The mangoes in the summer rolls are still half-frozen. The cocktails and drinks are pretty good, and the rice is just okay.

The taste was good to ok and super large portions BUT dirty sticky cutlery, paying for food and drinks in advance, broken glasses and a waitress at the checkout who obviously didn't care.

The food was very tasty and the staff was friendly. However, after eating we felt a bit uneasy when a mouse disappeared into the masonry behind us and we then wanted to go to the toilets (we then refrained from using the toilet). When I pointed out the mouse to the waitress, she said that the exterminator was coming... so the problem seems to be known and the store continues to operate anyway.

Nice ambience but not worth the subsequent food poisoning. My girlfriend and I both had fried rice and had the worst night of our lives. Even my husband, who had my leftovers, was spared nothing. Never again!

It's a shame, apparently there is a distinction between customers who take away food and customers who sit in the restaurant. I went there once to eat and it was very good, and I've ordered and taken food twice now. Today's delivery was an absolute disaster, rock hard, old satay chicken skewers on old lettuce leaves with only half a tablespoon of peanut sauce? ... that can't be the case for €7.95. It's a shame, the peanut sauce is delicious...

I would like to start with the positive: the food tasted very good and the portions were very large. Price-performance ratio appropriate. What's not right, however, is that 4 waitresses work there and I have to do everything their job. Go to the checkout to order and pay immediately. I've never experienced that in a restaurant before. You even had to get up and go to the cash register for every single drink. I think that's okay at McDonald's, but I expect better service from a restaurant. I also expect that if I signal to the waitress that I want something and she nods, she will come to me at some point and not instead talk to colleagues or watch the chef work. And the one where my companion's salt shaker broke and she dropped all the salt on her food. But the main thing is that every drink is paid for immediately. Actually, the "service" doesn't deserve a star, not even the term service is accurate. And the fact that the toilets look like they're at a festival doesn't make things any better. Dirty, smelly and the door smeared. Even when the end of work is approaching, certain standards should apply, especially when it comes to hygiene. Luckily, this was the only negative experience on my first visit to Cologne. But it will stay in my memory and I won't go there again.

Was just there. I threw up the food at home. A couple of friends had already told me back then that they always got a stomach ache when they went out to eat there. No more disgusting food ever again.

Wow!!!! So that was once again a really great experience for the eyes and the palate!!! Yesterday I took a short trip to Cologne with my children. When we were looking for a nice local place we came across Kittichai. You can sit outside and enjoy the sun while eating, or sit inside. The atmosphere inside was very appealing and we really liked it. Everything was also very clean!!! We took a table at the back of the stairs. The service was extremely friendly and the smile was enchanting. She explained to us that we had to order at the checkout and pay directly. After ordering, the first starters arrived at our table quite quickly. A little later the main course was brought. The food was delicious and I actually licked my fingers for the first time in a long time. Great price and taste!!!

Basically I would give the ambience 5 points. However, there is a deduction due to the toilets. It really wasn't clean there. Control and cleanliness is non-existent. It's not possible for a mother to have to change diapers for her child on the sofa. Otherwise really nice, worth it. The food really tasted good.

It was really tasty, I have to say. You can see directly into the kitchen how the food is freshly made. That's how it tasted, the vegetables were really nice and crunchy. Currently you could only pay in cash and the toilet is half a trip around the world and could be better (men) the general look of the room in the toilet.

How beautiful and how fresh can a meal be!?! The service was quick and friendly. The decoration is refreshingly inviting. I wish we had a restaurant like this here too. 💕👍🏼💕

When I ordered a dish with salmon, they brought me a dish with pangasius. In response to my comments, the waitress started saying that this was the type of salmon they had and offered no solution to the problem. In addition, food is served to guests in broken bowls from which children can eat with their hands. My friends and I don't want to be fooled, that's why we will never come to this place again!

This afternoon I was at "Kittichai" again. Cool, modern atmosphere, fast and friendly service, sometimes quite loud and busy, but the food is really authentic like at the night market in Bangkok, very tasty. Highly Recommended!

The restaurant has far too large portions for one person. It tastes mediocre and you have to order the food yourself. The atmosphere is okay.

Great cocktails! Didn't try the food, but it looked delicious from others. It would be a little more comfortable if you had small cushions on the cold chairs outside or simple blankets available. The tables need to be wiped down a little more often. The staff is pretty nice and attentive.

Visually very nice place. Service staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was served beautifully prepared and tasted really delicious. It was a large portion that I couldn't finish. What was left was packed up upon request. Unfortunately the toilet area was anything but nice and worth five stars. You urgently need to improve this.

Very good shop. The food is prepared and served quickly. The price/performance ratio is great. It tasted wonderful. The boss personally noticed that the waitress had accidentally overcharged for a meal. He pointed this out to me and brought the overpaid money to me in cash at the table. Respect and fine train. I wouldn't have noticed.

Delicious!! We always eat the "most sold" vegetarian food - for us it's an integral part of every city trip to Cologne. Located in the middle of the city center. It makes sense to reserve a seat by telephone as it is usually very well attended.

Das Essen ist gut, Auswahl wie in ähnlichen Thai Restaurants. Leider ist der Service nur bedingt, weil man selbst vorkommen muss, um etwas zu bestellen. Das Bestellte wird dann aber gebracht. Die Atmosphäre ist in Ordnung, bisschen Reinigung könnte das Restaurant ertragen.

Essen war sehr lecker und schnell zubereitet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Leuke sfeervolle plek om wat te eten. Bestellen gaat bij de bar, daarna krijg je een pieper mee en dan komen ze het bezorgen. Het verloop is snel. Eten is wel lekker en ziet er goed uit. Cocktails wel erg zoet.

Wir sind spontan ohne Reservierung eingekehrt und haben sofort einen Platz bekommen. Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker, die Zutaten alle frisch und der Preis angemessen. Wir kommen wieder.

Waren das 1. Mal da und super überrascht, essen war mega, selbstgemachte Eistee Tropical und der andere kp wie der hieß waren lecker! Vorspeise und Hauptgericht waren super lecker, gerne wieder aber bitte stellt jemand für die Toiletten ein, die waren unter aller Sau!

Angenehme Atmosphäre und relativ gute Preise

Wir waren mit 6 Personen vor Ort. Personal sehr aufmerksam und sehr nett. Alle Speisen ( Vor,Haupt und Nach) sehr lecker und sehr gut zubereitet. Das Lokal ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Super nette Service-Mitarbeiter, Koch macht ebenfalls einen super Job und Kundenwünsche werden problemlos umgesetzt. Von allen drei Kittychai Lokalen, mag ich es hier am liebsten. Es stimmt alles rundum.

Klasse!!! Eher spontan dort hin, direkt einen Tisch bekommen. Sehr netter Service, einen überaus leckeren Cocktail getrunken, dazu Ente Süß/Sauer (jaja, Standart). Das Essen war sehr lecker, Ente schön knusprig! Komme Donnerstag gleich nochmal vorbei!! LG

Hat soweit alles gepasst. Nur das Konzept mit dem direkten Bezahlen bei Bestellung stört mich etwas.

Gutes Team, immer ansprechbar und freundlich, leider sind die Coconut Currys sehr süß und es fehlt der Wums, also langweilig und cremig, wems schmeckt, mir jedenfalls nicht!

Ich war nun schon häufiger im Kittichai essen. Das Essen schmeckt hervorragend und wird frisch in der Küche zubereitet, was man durch Fensterscheiben erkennen kann. Warum erläutere ich, dass die Speisen frisch zubereitet werden? Weil so eine individuelle Anpassung der Gerichte möglich ist - oftmals ist das in Restaurants leider nicht möglich. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr höflich und immer bemüht. Sollte man noch nicht im Kittichai gewesen sein: Die Bestellung findet an der Kasse statt und das Essen wird dann an die jeweiligen Tische gebracht.

Gutes Standard Thai Essen mitten in der Stadt. Nettes Ambiente. Auf jeden Fall eine super Alternative zu all den anderen Fastfood Ketten drumherum.

Тайская кухня на популярной улице Кёльна. Заказали тайский суп и пад тай, они были с Мясом индейки. Суп съесть не смогла, был какой то неприятныф для меня запах. А пад тай дочь съела с удовольствием. Суши были рыхлыми, разваливались, мало риса. Больше чувствовался болгарский перец. Лимонад стандартный, его виды по вкусу различались между собой незначительно.

A great busy Thai restaurant in the middle of the city. They have a wide variety of cocktails and also alcohol free. Happy Hour is every day from 5-11 pm. I ordered Lachs with coconut curry and it tasted great. The portion size is worth the money.

Tische wurden nicht sauber gemacht als man Platz nahm, auch bei den Nachbartisch haben sich benutzte Teller gestapelt. Essen und Trinken ging an sich gerade noch durch. Was mich gestört hat das da ein Mitarbeiter der überall Hand angelegt hatte (Küche, Getränke Bar), nur am rum husten war, wer weiß was er hatte Erkältung, Grippe, Corona? Er verteilte seine Bazillen im ganzen Laden. Aber ich denke das ist der Politik im Laden/Unternehmen geschuldet. Die Mitarbeiter dürfen sich bei der miesen Bezahlung keine Fehlzeiten erlauben und sind gezwungen krank zu erscheinen und der Druck von oben. Also wahrscheinlich wird mit dem Mitarbeiter unfair umgegangen. Also Hygiene würde ich mal sagen, nicht so gut. Meine Partnerin hat auch hinterlassenschaften auf den Damen Toiletten vorgefunden (quasie wenn man seine Tage hat und teile eines großen Geschäftes). Also seid wachsam. In Köln ist das aber leider normal, kein frisches essen, ultra überteuert, keine gute Qualität, man bekommt nirgendwo mehr gut durch gekochtes Gehaltvolles gesundes essen.

Essen war ziemlich lecker, Preis ist komplett normal, nicht günstig. Ist eher was für Jugendliche, da dort hauptsächlich Partymusik läuft. Service war in meinen Augen nicht so gut. Essen hat komischerweise länger gedauert als ich es gewohnt bin. Auch kam es versetzt an den Tisch an, sodass wir nicht zusammen anfangen konnten zu Essen. Alles in allem aber empfehlenswert. Der Wantan Burger soll sehr gut sein.

Super leckeres Essen, mit frischem Gemüse, zu einem echt fairen Preis. Und dazu noch richtig schön gelegen. War ein perfekter Abschluss unseres Köln-Trips. 😃

Der Wan-Tan Burger war lecker . Haben zu dritt in einer Bestellung bestellt, leider kam alles nacheinander an. Der Burger meiner Schwester war schon kalt als 5 min später der letzte kam. Personal aber ganz nett. Musik ist fresh, etwas laut zum reden aber ist geschmackssache.
