Buriram Restaurant in Köln

We completed a bachelorette party in Cologne here, and the meal in Buriram was the highlight of the whole day. The food was excellent - even those who don't normally know much about Asian cuisine enjoyed it - and the service and atmosphere were great too. It's been a long time since I had such good Thai food. The restaurant is definitely saved for possible future visits. Highly recommended!

The food is very delicious. Authentic Thai taste, just like at home. Especially the papaya salad with crab and fermented fish, very delicious and most importantly, the owner of the shop is very friendly. If there is a chance, I will come back to support again. 🥰🇹🇭

The food was really excellent – ​​fresh, authentic and incredibly tasty! The dishes were prepared quickly and had a real original taste. I found it particularly nice that there is a traditional table on which you can let your legs hang down, which makes sitting much more comfortable. A great experience and absolutely recommended! Das Ambiente, inklusive Tuk-Tuk, wirkt etwas touristisch, aber die Küche ist authentisch und sehr schmackhaft. Der Service ist schnell und sehr freundlich. Für Köln was besonderes: Kreditkartenzahlungen sind möglich.

The five of us had a wonderful evening in Buriram. Every single one of the dishes was delicious including the desserts. The atmosphere is very cozy and the benches are even heated. Thanks also to our waiter, Bom, who made our evening even more special with his nice service. We'll be back!

The food is first class. But it's not as spicy as in Thailand. That's why I always eat at home and add spices. There were seven of us there on a Saturday and I felt, although reserved, that we were a bit left out at the end.

I ordered food with delivery on New Year's Eve. I don't think I've ever had such poor quality in my life. The meat consisted only of skin and inedible animal parts, which are usually thrown away before processing. Never again, I have the audacity to sell something like that. Hope it was just a coincidence and no others were affected.

Papaya salad is like eating it in the middle of a rice field in front of the rice harvest. The beef koi is delicious. The shop owner and employees are very cute. A. A million chickens. The service is very good. Anyone who comes to this city, I recommend it. You won't be disappointed for sure.

The food was significantly more expensive compared to surrounding Thai restaurants. The two of us paid just under €60 for lunch, a small starter/soup, a drink and a bottle of water. Unfortunately, both menus had burn marks, but overall the impression remains that the best times here are unfortunately long gone. The taste is close to well-known buffets, where you often don't know where this taste comes from.

We came here 3 times in total for our stay in Köln. The food was amazing and about 8/10 authentic to what I’ve had in Thailand. The fried fish (Lui Suan) was so yummy, highly recommended! Recommendations: Lui San fish, pad thai, tom yum soup

Best Thai cuisine! I was looking for an authentic Thai restaurant nearby for a long time and finally found it. There are delicious authentic dishes and the staff and the boss are very hospitable as you would expect from Thailand. I can now finally enjoy my favorite food, Pad Krapao Moo Grob, with an authentic taste in Germany. I can only recommend Buriram Thai Restaurant!

We were there twice during our 3 days in Köln and we definitely love the food! We made sure we ordered different food and it's authentic Thai food. Great atmosphere and friendlt services. Recommendations: Pad Thai with Schrimps, Grilled Beef, Tom Yam wih sea food, Laab with duck, หอยแครงลวก, etc.

I ordered food there and the soup and the main course were both very tasty and if I lived locally I would be there more often. In fact, the portions were so large that I didn't need the appetizer.

Das **Buriram Thai-Restaurant & Cocktailbar** in Köln ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, wenn du Lust auf authentisches Thai-Ambiente hast – allein schon wegen dem Tuk-Tuk und dem ganzen Bambus im Gastraum, das sofort ins Auge sticht und für den besonderen Flair sorgt. Wir waren hier nach einem Badminton-Turnier und haben die letzten Plätze bekommen. Das Essen? Lecker und frisch zubereitet, aber nicht unbedingt ein Schnäppchen. Wenn du hier einkehrst, solltest du bereit sein, ein paar Euro mehr zu zahlen. Der Service ist super freundlich, die Bedienung schafft es, dass du dich direkt wohlfühlst. Und nicht zu vergessen: Die Lage ist top – mitten auf der bunten, lebendigen schwulen Meile Kölns. Ideal, um danach noch ein bisschen durch die Bars zu ziehen!

Somewhat solid, but not really outstanding. Had green curry with vegetables and tofu, coconut milk sauce was too watery, not enough curry paste and overall not very spicy. Even when I ordered Thai spiciness. The store is also fairly priced, but unfortunately the quality is no longer up to par. The interior was nicely decorated, there was also outside seating, although not much and quite uncomfortable.

Delicious lunch, the portions are big enough so that you leave the restaurant full. The atmosphere is very cozy, the service is friendly and the price-performance ratio is normal.

The prices for main courses are between 15-30€. Table reservations are made online. The waiting time for a well-filled restaurant was 40 minutes, which is totally acceptable given the quality of the food. Kind regards and enjoy your meal

Sowohl die Inneneinrichtung mit viel Bambus und liebe zum Detail als auch die servierten Speisen und der Service waren sehr gut. Das was wir gegessen hatten war alles sehr lecker und mit den richtigen Zutaten zubereitet. Auffallend war das fast die Hälfte aller Gäste Asiaten bzw. Thais waren was immer ein gutes Zeichen für die Qualität und Zubereitung der Speisen zeigt.

Two of us (Thai and German) ate here. The food was of good quality and authentic. The service was friendly. Overall pleasant and recommended. However, I missed the small bowls with small pieces of chili and fish sauce that are usual in Thailand, as I would have only liked a tiny bit of chili in my meal. Overall, the prices were adapted to the German standard and reasonable, but I found €7.60 for an iced tea a bit excessive, otherwise I would have given the full 5 stars.

This restaurant was a chance find for me and my girlfriend. So we had no expectations and were extremely positively surprised. The atmosphere is great, the service is friendly and courteous and the food is amazing. We will be back with all our friends and family.

That was definitely the first and last time we ever ate there. The cocktails were extremely acidic, so I didn't even drink half of them. My mother and I were extremely disappointed with the food. Their “crispy duck” was like pure rubber and the noodles, like my chicken meat, were quite sweet. When we asked if we liked it, as the plates were still quite full, we didn't respond at all. All in all: Nice atmosphere, but never again!

I was in the restaurant with friends. Everyone enjoyed the dishes we ordered, from normal to very spicy. We had reserved to be on the safe side, because about 30 minutes later it became full. The 3 hours for the menus went by very quickly. We really enjoyed the evening and would love to come back.

At Buriram Thai in Cologne I was impressed by the portion size. The price was reasonable in relation to the quantity, the portion was very generous and the service was very friendly and personable. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the strong smell of grease in the store, which spoiled the atmosphere. The food itself was okay, but not a highlight. Overall, I'd say Buriram Thai is a solid option if you're looking for a filling meal, but not necessarily a dining experience.

I think everything is ok, but Thai tea for me is super sweet and I don't like it.
