Besten Frühlingsrollen die ich je gegessen habe…

Gutes Essen mit sehr gemütlichem Ambiente und sehr schneller und freundlicher Bedienung.

Der Service war unserer Meinung nach nicht gut (wir waren zu dritt) und das Essen überhaupt nicht authentisch (wir hatten Pad Thai bestellt). Das Pad Thai mit gebratener Ente war total trocken. Die Erdnusssauce war aber lecker.

Kittichai bietet geschmacklich wirklich sehr gutes Essen und die Qualität der Speisen hat uns absolut überzeugt. Auch der Service war insgesamt in Ordnung und freundlich. Etwas schade fanden wir allerdings, dass das Ambiente bei unserem Besuch nicht ganz den Eindruck gemacht hat, den wir von früher kannten. Die Tische wirkten teilweise etwas verklebt und insgesamt war die Atmosphäre an diesem Tag leider nicht ganz so angenehm wie erwartet. Trotzdem bleibt das Restaurant kulinarisch definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Es ist etwas zu teuer für das, was es bietet. Warum muss ich zum Beispiel extra für Tofu im Pad Thai bezahlen? Es muss doch mindestens eine Proteinquelle enthalten sein, normalerweise also Hähnchen oder Tofu. Die Minzlimonade war unglaublich lecker. Das Restaurant selbst ist ziemlich laut und wirkt etwas billig. Man kann also entweder ein schickes Ambiente schaffen oder die Preise senken und sich an Ketten wie Hans im Glück orientieren.

Haben wir durch Zufall gefunden und waren sehr begeistert. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und hat uns auch alles erklärt. Schön auch, dass am Tisch an der Tür eine Heizlüftung war, so das es nicht kalt rein zieht. Sehr positiv auch die Idee mit den 3 Mittags-Tages-Gerichten. Gute und ausreichende Auswahl aus der Karte. Da findet man für jeden Geschmack was.

Wir waren mit dem Mittagessen sehr zufrieden, von Curry über gebratenen Reis bis Cheeseburger war alles sehr lecker! Das Personal war sehr freundlich- Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Wir waren gestern wieder bei Kittichai und wie immer super zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker, schön warm, wohltuend und perfekt gewürzt. Ich esse dort schon seit Jahren und wurde wirklich noch nie enttäuscht. Die Portionen sind großzügig und wenn man nicht alles schafft, kann man den Rest einfach mitnehmen. Auch die Getränke sind top. Insgesamt einfach ein Ort, an den man immer wieder gerne zurückkommt. Klare Empfehlung 😊

Edit 2026: Habe diese Bewertung vor 10 Jahren zum ersten Mal geschrieben, aber seit dem hat sich vieles verändert. Die Qualität vom essen hat massiv abgenommen, es wird richtig laut Musik gespielt im Laden und der Service ist auch deutlich unfreundlicher. Inzwischen würde ich niemanden empfehlen hier essen zu gehen Diese Bewertung bekommt eigentlich nur 5 Sterne wegen der hausgemachten Minz Limonade. Ansonsten ist das Essen hier gut und wer Salat mag sollte die Nummer 89 mit mehr Dressing ausprobieren.

Vielen Dank für den hervorragenden Service! Meine Freundin hatte Geburtstag, und wir haben uns sehr gefreut, ihn hier zu feiern. Zu diesem Anlass haben wir eine nette Aufmerksamkeit in Form eines Cocktails erhalten, und außerdem wurden Desserts mit einem angezündeten Kerzchen serviert. Alles war unglaublich lecker – jedes Gericht ein Genuss! Die Atmosphäre, die Präsentation und die Liebe zum Detail haben den Abend wirklich besonders gemacht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! 🤩🤩🤩

Sehr lecker und sättigend, eine Portion Sushi reichte mir völlig. Das Restaurant ist schön und gemütlich, die Kellner sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Der Mushroom-Burger roch sehr unangenehm und war ungenießbar. Es war kein Rindfleisch ( war Lammfleisch)Trotz eines Hinweises auf die schlechte Qualität gab es weder eine Verbesserung noch eine Entschuldigung.

Man kann im Innenbereich kaum sitzen, da eine extrem laute und seltsame Musik läuft, die einfach nur Kopfschmerzen verursacht. Die Tische im Außenbereich sind zudem sehr schmutzig. Wir haben dreimal darum gebeten, den Tisch zu reinigen – jedes Mal hieß es 'sofort', aber am Ende ist niemand gekommen. Der Service ist wirklich unterirdisch. Das Essen war zwar gut, aber das Gesamterlebnis leider sehr enttäuschend.

Nicht wirklich zu empfehlen, meine klassische Nudelsuppe mit Rindfleisch schmeckte nach Wasser, darin einige weißliche, also vertrocknete, hauchdünne Brokolistreifen, und ähnlich wertige Einlagen. Service ganz nett ,nützt nur leider nichts wenn ich fast 100 ml Sojasauce reinkippen muss, damit es dann gerade essbar, aber leider damit auch versalzen ist. Preislich für die unterdurchschnitlliche Qualität, besonders des alten Gemüses, völlig übertrieben

Ein rundum tolles Restaurant! Die Kellnerin Paula war super lieb und herzlich, man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Das Essen kam schnell und war mega lecker. Dazu ein sehr schönes Ambiente – absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich war am 01.01.26 gegen 19-20uhr dort mit meinen Mann um Cocktails zu trinken.Wir wurden von einer sehr sympathischen Dame bedient war alles super 👌🏿 Aber es kam zu einen nicht so schönen Vorfall das Mädchen was und bedient hatte wurde soo stark von einen Küchen Mitarbeiter angeschrien obwohl sie den mehrfach drum gebeten hatte nicht in so einen Ton mit ihr zu sprechen wurde der Mann lauter bis ich dann aufgestanden bin zum Chef und meinte das dass nicht geht die Dame soo anzuschreien vor den ganzen Gästen sehr unprofessionell und schade naja 😒

Einer der besten Orte, an denen ich in Köln war, richtig gemütliche Atmosphäre und supernette Leute. Ich fand es toll und werde es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Man bestellt Speisen und Getränke an der Theke und bezahlt sofort. Der Service am Tisch ist schnell. Wirklich leckeres Essen für wenig Geld.

Das Essen war super lecker! Einen Punkt ziehe ich jedoch ab, weil ich die Portion der Suppe (Vorspeise) für 10 € meiner Meinung nach etwas zu hoch angesetzt ist. Ansonsten kann ich mich den positiven Bewertungen der anderen Gäste vollkommen anschließen. Wir sind glücklich und satt nach Hause gegangen 😊

Das Essen war ok. Wirklich nichts besonderes. Die Cocktails hingegen fand ich sowohl preislich als auch geschmacklich gut! Der Service hat mir gut gefallen. Servicekraft war super lieb und charmant. Ambiente sieht gut aus, teilweise ein wenig eng aber trotzdem voll süß gemacht.

We were here on Saturday with five people for cocktails and some food. The cocktails were okay. I've had worse, but also better. The food was delicious and seemed fresh. The service was very friendly. The cocktails took a little while, but that's understandable. The restrooms could use some renovation or at least be kept clean.

Even though we'd ordered everything at once, the last dish took a long time to arrive. We'd already started eating, but it was disappointing compared to usual: the Pad Thai, for example, was almost cold (from the inside, mind you), and the noodles were a lump, like glue. I have a feeling I'd received an old dish, reheated quickly. And the spices were also very bland. Unfortunately, the other diners shared my opinion about the taste. A real shame, given that we've been here before—I hope it was a one-time event. The prices are fair, but the service was poor: a waitress next to us showered two girls with cocktails, and we got wet too, which can happen. Oh well, the guy who served us was as polite as a shoe... The only girl at the cash register was really nice. There's a special kind of service at this place: you order and pay at the cashier, bringing your own drinks, and the dishes are brought to your table by the staff. We will definitely be back but I hope things change in the meantime.

On November 3, 2025, we had lunch at this Thai restaurant in Cologne, located in the pedestrian zone of the city center. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. We recommend this establishment.

The sushi was delicious. The rice in some of the other dishes was a bit hard. The sauces were good, as were the homemade drinks.

It was incredibly chaotic; drinks arrived over 10 minutes late, and my wife had already finished eating by that point. You can tell that the processes here are clearly organized and structured. The waitress did what she could; she was friendly. But we won't be back, which is a shame.

Unfortunately, I immediately got an upset stomach, even though I usually never have problems with Asian food. The food was also not very authentic and very sweet; my boyfriend couldn't even finish half of his plate because he found it so bland. The atmosphere was quite nice, but maybe we were just unlucky.

The food is great (except for the summer rolls, which were terrible.) Vegetarian burgers are super good

This was our first and last time here. The food was delicious, as was the soda. However, a homeless man stood in the middle of the outside tables and booths and asked the customers for almost five minutes, asking for money for the laundromat and something to eat. Most people ignored him, which seemed to make him angry, so he specifically confronted them. The staff watched from inside as their guests were harassed without doing anything. Absolutely no-go! We'll never come here again.

ATTENTION: Not vegan! We ordered via Uber, and I'm very disappointed. Not only was the delivered food only worthy of 2/5 stars in terms of taste, but even though I made a point of choosing the vegan option for the spring rolls, they still delivered the ones with shrimp, which I only noticed after I'd eaten one. It's a shame, we won't be ordering from there again...

Unfortunately, the place is very dirty, so very unhygienic! Everything is sticky and there are too many flies. They're covered in dog hair. I couldn't enjoy my food at all because I was so disgusted. It's a shame, you used to be better!

I visited the Kiti Chat Café in Cologne to have tea, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The tea served was cold and had absolutely no flavor. I expected a hot, aromatic tea, but instead I got something that tasted more like water than tea. It's a shame that even such a simple thing doesn't take care. There's definitely room for improvement.

Delicious, large selection, large portions. Salad with avocado and shrimp is bomb. There are delicious rolls, there is a bar. Cozy, you can go outside or inside.

The portions are now half the size they were before. I couldn't believe it. I was done in 3 minutes. 5 bites. And no, please don't say "Our portions were always the same." I was there last week and ordered the same meal, and the week before that too. They were twice as big, and I had to leave some left over. I get it, these are tough times, etc., but no thanks.

We were here today quite spontaneously. The food was terrific. I haven't eaten such a delicious green curry for a long time. The service was fine. It's just always the question of whether you have to talk so much privately with your friends and the toilets could be a little cleaner.

Walked by and saw how nice it looked so we went in. We love Thai food, and this did not disappoint. The staff were good fun and fantastic, welcoming us to this great city. We are vegetarian so had tofu based curries, stunning taste and the portions were excellent! Freshly made, lovely flavours. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

We went to the store yesterday to get something to eat. The food was really tasty, curry dishes, Phad Thai and Udon noodles, everything was perfect. We also had four cocktails, unfortunately I have to say that they were very bad. Too much alcohol and just doesn't taste good.

We often go to Kittichai - especially Krebsgasse and really like the dishes. However, the service is particularly different on Ehrenstrasse. We were there last week and it wasn't that busy. The service at the cash register is arrogant and the waiter serves silently and listlessly. Overall, the dishes were tasty, but portioned more sparingly than usual. There are several reasons for us to visit the other branch.

Food very tasty, service friendly. However, the loud techno music, which would be more suitable for a cocktail bar, really bothered me and my daughter. I will only use/recommend the pick-up service.

I like it there, every time. My parents wanted to have a delicious meal on their wedding day. I suggested you KittiChai. My parents were also thrilled. Some reviewers don't understand the SemiService and therefore complain, but that's not a rating feature for me. I like the mango curry so much with the tofu (it's so tender) totally awesome. My parents had pasta with duck and red curry with duck. Everything is freshly prepared and is really nice and hot. The rice is fragrant, the portions are large and the service is friendly and attentive. I also like the atmosphere, the different seating options, the warm light, the basket-shaped lamps with the curls on them. I like being there and have probably been there 15 times and have never been disappointed.

Place looked good, music a bit loud, heaters were blasting inside thus way to hot, but it was a social place. 2 stars for that We found out you need to order at the bar, pick up your own cutlery and napkins. All fine, if you know beforehand. Nobody came to explain. My sister ordered the salad and afterwards asked to have the dressing removed once she received it. Bit unfortunate but they did not understand for some reason and put everything in a doggy bag while we just started eating. Therefore service 1 star. Food looked tasty at first, but then realized that the duck with the red coconut curry and the chicken with the Japanese udon noodles was not fresh. In fact the chicken was factory like chicken (ready to eat stuff) and duck was fully dried out. My red curry was not spicy at all and tasted exactly the same as the Japanese udon noodle curry. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We ate here quite spontaneously. The atmosphere is pleasant and nicely decorated. The food was delicious and had a very good portion size, we were definitely full. For in between and if you are unsure where to go. you can't go wrong here. Both dishes in the photo were tasty and of good quality.

The restaurant is so-so. The food can be called “à la Asian”. And they also have to mix in the additives because I got a stomach ache afterwards today. For me it means "bye, bye" Kittichai.

Really disgusting - I ordered a curry at lunchtime, opened the packaging and had to throw it away straight away. It just smelled like onions (or rather sweat) and my living room has been smelling like it for hours, it's unbearable 🤢 Will never order again, I'm totally disappointed.

Super delicious food. But you first have to order and pay at the counter. Food will then be brought. Since there were 5 of us, we found this a bit uncomfortable as everyone had to go individually. We then made a list and settled the accounts between us afterwards. But the food was worth it.

Very generous portions and delicious food. Particular highlight was the duck fried rice with the satay sauce. Happy hour was brilliant with so many great drink options.

Very tasty Asian food, creative lemonades, sat outside on the street. You should sit outside the bus exhaust that stops there. Very nice service
