Cool restaurant, very friendly service, delicious dishes and great cocktails, I love coming here.

The food was absolutely delicious! I'm deducting one point, however, because I think the soup portion (starter) is a bit overpriced at €10. Otherwise, I completely agree with the positive reviews from the other guests. We went home happy and full 😊

Racist and Discriminative Admittance policy! Turned us (2 non local people) away on pretence of no table left while at the same time suddenly able to find for 3 local well dressed ladies who came right after.

The food was okay. Nothing special, really. The cocktails, however, I found to be good, both in terms of price and taste! I really liked the service. The server was incredibly kind and charming. The ambiance looks nice, a little cramped in places, but still very cute.

The food itself was okay, but I had mango pit pieces in my Thai curry, and that was quite unpleasant to bite into, especially since I also have braces, it hurt a lot.

We were here on Saturday with five people for cocktails and some food. The cocktails were okay. I've had worse, but also better. The food was delicious and seemed fresh. The service was very friendly. The cocktails took a little while, but that's understandable. The restrooms could use some renovation or at least be kept clean.

Even though we'd ordered everything at once, the last dish took a long time to arrive. We'd already started eating, but it was disappointing compared to usual: the Pad Thai, for example, was almost cold (from the inside, mind you), and the noodles were a lump, like glue. I have a feeling I'd received an old dish, reheated quickly. And the spices were also very bland. Unfortunately, the other diners shared my opinion about the taste. A real shame, given that we've been here before—I hope it was a one-time event. The prices are fair, but the service was poor: a waitress next to us showered two girls with cocktails, and we got wet too, which can happen. Oh well, the guy who served us was as polite as a shoe... The only girl at the cash register was really nice. There's a special kind of service at this place: you order and pay at the cashier, bringing your own drinks, and the dishes are brought to your table by the staff. We will definitely be back but I hope things change in the meantime.

On November 3, 2025, we had lunch at this Thai restaurant in Cologne, located in the pedestrian zone of the city center. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. We recommend this establishment.

The sushi was delicious. The rice in some of the other dishes was a bit hard. The sauces were good, as were the homemade drinks.

It was incredibly chaotic; drinks arrived over 10 minutes late, and my wife had already finished eating by that point. You can tell that the processes here are clearly organized and structured. The waitress did what she could; she was friendly. But we won't be back, which is a shame.

Unfortunately, I immediately got an upset stomach, even though I usually never have problems with Asian food. The food was also not very authentic and very sweet; my boyfriend couldn't even finish half of his plate because he found it so bland. The atmosphere was quite nice, but maybe we were just unlucky.

The food is great (except for the summer rolls, which were terrible.) Vegetarian burgers are super good

This was our first and last time here. The food was delicious, as was the soda. However, a homeless man stood in the middle of the outside tables and booths and asked the customers for almost five minutes, asking for money for the laundromat and something to eat. Most people ignored him, which seemed to make him angry, so he specifically confronted them. The staff watched from inside as their guests were harassed without doing anything. Absolutely no-go! We'll never come here again.

ATTENTION: Not vegan! We ordered via Uber, and I'm very disappointed. Not only was the delivered food only worthy of 2/5 stars in terms of taste, but even though I made a point of choosing the vegan option for the spring rolls, they still delivered the ones with shrimp, which I only noticed after I'd eaten one. It's a shame, we won't be ordering from there again...

Unfortunately, the place is very dirty, so very unhygienic! Everything is sticky and there are too many flies. They're covered in dog hair. I couldn't enjoy my food at all because I was so disgusted. It's a shame, you used to be better!

Self-service, but the waiters ensure that the food is served in order of starter and main course. So far, so delicious, and the cocktails are good; right in the city center.

I visited the Kiti Chat Café in Cologne to have tea, but unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. The tea served was cold and had absolutely no flavor. I expected a hot, aromatic tea, but instead I got something that tasted more like water than tea. It's a shame that even such a simple thing doesn't take care. There's definitely room for improvement.

Delicious, large selection, large portions. Salad with avocado and shrimp is bomb. There are delicious rolls, there is a bar. Cozy, you can go outside or inside.

The food looked appealing, the prices a bit high but okay. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere was nice too. Unfortunately, I couldn't stomach the food (rice noodles and sushi). I don't know if it was just me.

The portions are now half the size they were before. I couldn't believe it. I was done in 3 minutes. 5 bites. And no, please don't say "Our portions were always the same." I was there last week and ordered the same meal, and the week before that too. They were twice as big, and I had to leave some left over. I get it, these are tough times, etc., but no thanks.

Food is good only problem is the staff, girl on the register put a wrong order in and when i came back to tell it they changed it, wich was perfect. When she brought the food she went into a disscusion with me that i said it wrong. Didnt’t like that. Left a tip for her.

We were here today quite spontaneously. The food was terrific. I haven't eaten such a delicious green curry for a long time. The service was fine. It's just always the question of whether you have to talk so much privately with your friends and the toilets could be a little cleaner.

Walked by and saw how nice it looked so we went in. We love Thai food, and this did not disappoint. The staff were good fun and fantastic, welcoming us to this great city. We are vegetarian so had tofu based curries, stunning taste and the portions were excellent! Freshly made, lovely flavours. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

We went to the store yesterday to get something to eat. The food was really tasty, curry dishes, Phad Thai and Udon noodles, everything was perfect. We also had four cocktails, unfortunately I have to say that they were very bad. Too much alcohol and just doesn't taste good.

We often go to Kittichai - especially Krebsgasse and really like the dishes. However, the service is particularly different on Ehrenstrasse. We were there last week and it wasn't that busy. The service at the cash register is arrogant and the waiter serves silently and listlessly. Overall, the dishes were tasty, but portioned more sparingly than usual. There are several reasons for us to visit the other branch.

The service was truly first class and the entire team was extremely attentive and friendly. We can fully recommend Kittichai and will definitely come back! Food very tasty, service friendly. However, the loud techno music, which would be more suitable for a cocktail bar, really bothered me and my daughter. I will only use/recommend the pick-up service.

I like it there, every time. My parents wanted to have a delicious meal on their wedding day. I suggested you KittiChai. My parents were also thrilled. Some reviewers don't understand the SemiService and therefore complain, but that's not a rating feature for me. I like the mango curry so much with the tofu (it's so tender) totally awesome. My parents had pasta with duck and red curry with duck. Everything is freshly prepared and is really nice and hot. The rice is fragrant, the portions are large and the service is friendly and attentive. I also like the atmosphere, the different seating options, the warm light, the basket-shaped lamps with the curls on them. I like being there and have probably been there 15 times and have never been disappointed.

A small, bustling but cozy shop. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately the sushi was drowned in a dark sauce and the summer rolls were not very seasoned. However, the curry tasted very good.

Place looked good, music a bit loud, heaters were blasting inside thus way to hot, but it was a social place. 2 stars for that We found out you need to order at the bar, pick up your own cutlery and napkins. All fine, if you know beforehand. Nobody came to explain. My sister ordered the salad and afterwards asked to have the dressing removed once she received it. Bit unfortunate but they did not understand for some reason and put everything in a doggy bag while we just started eating. Therefore service 1 star. Food looked tasty at first, but then realized that the duck with the red coconut curry and the chicken with the Japanese udon noodles was not fresh. In fact the chicken was factory like chicken (ready to eat stuff) and duck was fully dried out. My red curry was not spicy at all and tasted exactly the same as the Japanese udon noodle curry. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We ate here quite spontaneously. The atmosphere is pleasant and nicely decorated. The food was delicious and had a very good portion size, we were definitely full. For in between and if you are unsure where to go. you can't go wrong here. Both dishes in the photo were tasty and of good quality.

The restaurant is so-so. The food can be called “à la Asian”. And they also have to mix in the additives because I got a stomach ache afterwards today. For me it means "bye, bye" Kittichai.

Really disgusting - I ordered a curry at lunchtime, opened the packaging and had to throw it away straight away. It just smelled like onions (or rather sweat) and my living room has been smelling like it for hours, it's unbearable 🤢 Will never order again, I'm totally disappointed.

Super delicious food. But you first have to order and pay at the counter. Food will then be brought. Since there were 5 of us, we found this a bit uncomfortable as everyone had to go individually. We then made a list and settled the accounts between us afterwards. But the food was worth it.

Very nice place. Quick service. Prices are not higher than in any dirty Asian bistro round the corner but the dishes look much better and the food quality is higher.

Very generous portions and delicious food. Particular highlight was the duck fried rice with the satay sauce. Happy hour was brilliant with so many great drink options.

My Kittichai rating 1 star. Sad but unfortunately that's how it is! Ate there again after 3/4 years and unfortunately it turned out incredibly bad. The dishes from back then are no longer what they used to be. Even the unusual sushi from back then is now prepared carelessly and somehow no longer tastes good. The wasabi is no longer spicy and the portions and ingredients are measly small or almost halved. Why do you do something like that? The price/performance ratio is simply no longer right. Many other Thais in Cologne offer more for the money and they are exactly the ones who are now getting my money! Sorry, but there are zero stars for this - one star is really too many! :(

Don’t expect a real Thai food here. It tastes like some mixed Asian food but the name, street Thai food, might mislead you. The food is alright (not good) but not Thai.

Had eaten here before. Then it was okay. Today we ordered satay and spring rolls. Was really bad. The satay came from the fryer and was super salty. The spring rolls were filled with tasteless onion paste; really nothing to do with spring. I won't be coming back here again.

3 girls out and about in Cologne. At some point we got hungry. My companions had already stopped here. After a few minutes someone came out to tell us that we had to order inside. We chose 2 rice dishes and a burger for me. The rice dishes were ok.My burger too.Sweet potatoes got cold very quickly and the other side dish didn't taste like anything.I wouldn't eat there again.

We were informed far too late that you had to pay at the counter. Nothing was said about it when you came in and otherwise the waitress wasn't really motivated. I won't go there and look for something else.

I would rather not eat here. I can only recommend the cocktails, especially during happy hour. The employees are quite okay.

This is the second time I've eaten here and I've been absolutely impressed every time. I will also go here next time in Cologne. The restaurant is not big and since it was always relatively full, it wasn't quiet either, but if you like the ambience of an Asian restaurant, it's the best. Super delicious food, served quickly by friendly staff. Due to the size of the tables, you can sit together at a large table, even if you would normally choose your own small tables. This promotes communication, but is in no way intrusive or unpleasant. The only suggestion I would like to make for improvement is regarding the restrooms. Management should pay a little more attention here. Nevertheless, all in all, the Kittichai is a top recommendation!

The food was delicious, as was the iced tea. Unfortunately the service was completely subpar. We were there for my best friend's birthday, a total of 4 adults and her 2-year-old son. We came in, sat down and waited for a waiter for 20 minutes until we were told we had to order at the checkout, we had never been here before and didn't know that. They could have simply told us that earlier. Unfortunately, our food came at a different time, which really shouldn't happen if you want to eat together.

Went here for a cocktail. Large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. Delicious and rich. Price good. Happy hour for 6.45€/🍸.

You could really have gotten more out of every customer if the service was at least good. Nobody explains how it works here that you order and pay from the start.
