Asia Thai Gourmet in Köln

After three attempts, my verdict is in: On all three visits, the food was bland and lacked any flavor. The dishes seemed downright watered down. Sorry, but it was a complete disappointment three times.

I went in with my friend. Although place looked very nice, food itself was awful. Meat was tasteless, and sauces were way too sweet. When we raised the topic of lack of spices we were ignored by stuff. Afterwards I've felt really sick on my stomach. I don't think I'll be coming back. Ever.

By far the best Thai takeaway in Cologne. No joke: We've been ordering from there at least every 1-2 weeks for years and we've never been disappointed. Always delicious, and above all, clean and reliable. After all these years, I thought they really deserved a review! The delivery times (living here in Ehrenfeld) are also unbeatable; sometimes it takes less than 10 minutes for the food to arrive. The value for money is 100% good.

The food tastes like they're reheating old leftovers – and sometimes even burnt! Every time I go, it gets more expensive, but the quality gets worse and worse. It seems like they're just mixing leftover food from the previous day back into the dishes. Absolutely unhygienic and outrageous that they're serving this to their guests! The taste is bland, sometimes even downright rancid, and the "fresh" ingredients look anything but fresh. I will NEVER eat there again and strongly advise everyone not to! I have no idea how this restaurant still has customers – probably just people who can't tell the difference. **Disgusting and a rip-off!**

Huge portion; I had fried rice with chicken, spring rolls, and shrimp. It was ready super quickly and tasted average. Atmosphere: More of a fast-food vibe. For a casual visit when you're in a hurry, I'd be happy. However, I wouldn't come here for authentic food.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The food was so good that we went back the next day. Great selection at reasonable prices. It's on our list for our next visit to Cologne 👍😋👏😊.

Unfortunately that was nothing... Although the staff was friendly and accommodating, the food was unfortunately not that tasty. Both soups were way(!) too sweet and the main course was a bit too sweet, and the curry was too thin. In the pragmatically furnished restaurant it is far too cold downstairs and upstairs, towards the toilets, it smells accordingly... Too bad! But unfortunately I can't recommend this Thai guy...

Great new shop - delicious Asian! I'm happy to have found a new shop in Ehrenfeld. You can look into the clean kitchen - it's beautifully open and the team was really brave and focused at work. Fresh vegetables, large portion, short waiting time, really spicy; The store is nicely decorated, bright and friendly! We'd love to come back! I also thought it was great that I was able to get a receipt for entertainment without any problems. I hope the store stays as great 👍

We ordered the Pad Thai and the Massaman curry. Delicious! It was made fresh, served hot, and a very large serving of food. Beware - cash only, but he told us before we ordered so it was all good.

I love this store. Perfect mix of snack bar, system catering and restaurant. Especially upstairs you can sit well and listen to the rain in the open kitchen. If you need something, for example a bowl to take the leftovers with you, you don't have to ask and can help yourself freely. The food is consistently OK to very good, and I think the prices are reasonable. Waiting times are kept to a minimum, even when there is a lot of traffic.

I ordered a soup and a main course via delivery from this restaurant. After an initial delivery time of 45 minutes was stated, I had to wait a total of 1.5 hours. The food really had nothing in common with balanced and good Thai cuisine. The main course was overcooked and swam in a watery sauce with no particular taste sensation. The tofu was neither marinated nor seasoned. The soup also tasted like warmed coconut milk with water and mushroom pieces. I haven't been served such bad food in a long time.

The Worst Pho and Pad Thai! It just tastes so sweet, I couldn't even eat it. I threw everything away!

Asia Thai Gourmet in Cologne Ehrenfeld is definitely worth a discovery! Today I took the time to visit this restaurant during my lunch break and I wasn't disappointed. The chicken PAD KING that I ordered was really good. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy, which for me is always a sign of quality. The rice was perfectly cooked, with just the right texture and flavor. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made my visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy and inviting, so I immediately felt at home. I also read some reviews online from other visitors and it seems that my positive experience is no exception. Many praise the authentic preparation of the dishes and the generous portions. It seems as if Asia Thai Gourmet in Cologne Ehrenfeld is a real insider tip that I can definitely recommend.

Bad service. Incorrect order and I had to waste time from my break to return it and nobody apologises or cares. Workers laughing at me behind the counter too very unprofessional service. Food was ok but sauce not like a pad thai should be.

Der mittlerweile recht großen Konkurrenz auf der Venloerstraße kann dieser Asiate bestens mithalten. Mittlerweile steht für mich dieser Laden in Sachen Preisleistung an erster Stelle. Gute Qualität, gute Portionen und vergleichsweise günstig. Mittags zur Mitnahme häufig als Imbiss genutzt, hat er aber auch als günstiges Restaurant tatsächlich Charme und läd mit geschmackvollem Ambiente zur Einkehr.

I have been an Asia Thai Gourmet fan for more than 4 years now and have previously given positive reviews. The last time I went to Venlo to eat something was in January and realized that the food no longer tasted as delicious as it once did. Now in April the same thing again. Rice like a sticky mess, meat hard with an unpleasant smell and the vegetables not cooked through, especially very hard. In addition, I always used to get full plates “especially the sauce”. I'm disappointed, for €9 plus a drink = €11.50 that's too much for me. I'm happy to pay €12 but it has to taste good. You've slacked off! Sorry

Nice atmosphere for a snack bar. Food, especially the classic, fried noodles, could be better compared to the competition in Cologne.

The chef must have dropped the glutamate spoon into the sauce. At least that's how it tastes.

Das Essen hier ist wirklich lecker, authentisch und vor allem billig. Für 10€ bekommt man hier jeden satt. Schnell zubereitet und auch geliefert immer noch lecker. Die Kette Asia Thai Gourmet ist an vielen Standorten in Deutschland anzutreffen und bietet fast immer gleichbleibend gute Qualität. Wenn man also einen schnellen Hunger auf thailändisches Essen hat, wird man hier auf jeden Fall fündig. Auch für Vegetarier ist es hier kein Problem satt zu werden.

Mehrmals hier bestellt, jedes Mal kam das Essen viel zu spät. Lieferung trotz kurzer Anfahrt war nie unter 75 Minuten vor Ort. Miserabler Service, Bestellungen nicht vollständig und unfreundliches Personal am Telefon.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältniss. Mahlzeiten werden frisch zubereitet , sind lecker und gesund. Die Servicemitarbeiter sind stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich gehe regelmäßig in der Mittagspause hierher und genieße die tollen Thai-Currys seit ca 6 Monaten.

Ekelhaft einfach ekelhaft… habe dort zum mitnehmen 2 Gerichte bestellt, beim 2 oder 3 Biss kam ein Haar aus meinem Mund heraus. Wie unfähig muss man sein, in einem Restaurant KEINE KOPFBEDECKUNG zu tragen!!! Unverschämtheit..

The taste good for Indonesian people

Mein Go-to Restaurant, wenn es schnell gehen muss und ich keine Lust habe all zu weit zu fahren. Von Tofu bis Ente gibt es alles. Essen ist meistens innerhalb von 5 - 10 Minuten fertig. Extrawünsche sind gar kein Thema und werden gerne entgegen genommen. EC-Kartenzahlung möglich.

Wir waren während der Corona Zeit in 2021 das 1. Mal hier und sehr zufrieden. Nun haben wir 2023 nochmals hier gegessen und sind nach wie vor sehr zufrieden!! Große Portionen, kleine Preise, Bedienung sehr nett!! Jedes Getränk 2,50 € (Bionade, Fanta, Cola.....)
