Delicious Thai food. They also offer a lunch menu.

I liked the foods but servise was terrible. One of the waitress was behaving without any emotion. She did not ask us while collecting the plates. She did not even say anything when we were leaving from the restaurant. I felt like leaving from a unwelcome place. If you are not happy with your customers, I suggest you close your restaurant.

Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't meet our expectations. The service was polite, but at the same time very distant. The food was average at best, and the decor was plain. I went there with a Thai friend, but we wouldn't go again.

A little off a main road but worth the stop if you’re craving fresh Thai. Spring rolls were crispy; Bame pad was tasty. Pay attention in menu…use of word “hot” to mean spicy, not temperature.

Great food, great service. The presentation is absolutely beautiful. THEY OFFER KAO SOI, my absolute favourite Thai dish, which is usually so hard to find. The portions are sizable and the price reasonable. Krap kun ka! 🙏

For me, the best Thai food in Berlin, Hoo Moog, is pure excellence. I find the fish curries and the dry curry particularly delicious. The chefs, older Thai ladies, cook very authentically. It's always a delight to eat here, and the food has been consistently good for many years.

The Pad Thai was delicious, fairly standard. But the price with shrimp at €21 was by far the most expensive in all of Berlin... Hence two stars deducted. The price was too high for me.

I would describe Elephant as a neighborhood Thai restaurant in the best sense of the word. Uncomplicated, prices are still reasonable, portions are generous, quality ranges from solid to very good, service is super nice, and you can get a seat even without a reservation. The sate gai were plentiful as an appetizer, and the peanut sauce and cucumber condiment were very good! The main course, duck with vegetables, was generous and, while not amazing in terms of taste, certainly good. The service was consistently very good and friendly. Prices were perfectly reasonable. The atmosphere was also authentic.

Incredible! Such a flavor festival in my mouth. Been all around the world, eaten many kinds of foods including Thailand. This place has surpassed everything.

Hervorragende Qualität der Speisen, herzliche Chefin und alle Mitarbeiterinnen. Wir waren eine größere Gruppe, für die extra am Sonntag geöffnet wurde. Die Auswahl der vielfältigen Gerichte wurde je nach Geschmack zubereitet und schön angerichtet präsentiert. Lediglich der Tintenfisch hätte nach meinem Geschmack etwas weicher sein dürfen. Gemüse und auch die frittierten Vorspeisen frisch und lecker. Die kross gebratene Ente war vorzüglich, alle Freunde waren von diesem kleinen und angenehmen Restaurant begeistert. Wir können dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen, ein echter Geheimtipp, Auch der Mittagstisch wird sehr schnell serviert und ist preislich sehr günstig.

Wir waren gestern Abend dort. Die Bedienung war sehr nett, aber eine Beratung gab es nicht. Das Essen war gut, der Tintenfisch war zart, das Gemüse knackig. Die Nudeln meiner Frau waren ihr zu scharf, und das war nur „deutsch-scharf“, so sagte die Bedienung. Es war ein Versuch, aber vietnamesische Küche liegt uns mehr.

I remembered the restaurant very well from previous years. Today's lunch was very disappointing and has nothing in common with Thai cuisine. Unfortunately. No typical aromas or spiciness. Very small portion.

Cute little restaurant on the west side of Berlin with amazing food and service. I had the best coconut milk soup I’ve ever had and pad Thai with prawns. Seasoning was perfection!

We ended up in the Elephant Thai Restaurant by chance.. in Thailand we learned that you shouldn't be guided by the outside.. at first glance the shop is quite inconspicuous.. but we were greeted and served in a friendly manner by Dai and we were very impressed with the really authentic food..!!! If you want to enjoy the spicy cuisine of Thailand, you are in great hands there!!! Papaya salad was a delight!!! Price performance absolutely fine. Thank you Ms. Dai for your great service..

I've been to Thailand countless times and know a lot of Thai restaurants in Berlin, but the food there has little to do with traditional Thai cuisine. Pad Kra Pao was not recognizable as such, not spicy at all. The curry was supposed to be with eggplant but not a single piece was included. In my opinion, unfortunately not recommended, sorry.

Unfortunately disappointing. Nothing special. Partly snack level, i.e. warmed up food from wholesale market packages (e.g. spring rolls, baked wontons, dried fried onions). Price performance is not right. Glass of tea 5 euros.

I lived in Thailand myself for many years and with all the different dishes at Elephant, my mind was back in Bangkok and the islands with every bite. The cook even prepared an excellent somtam for us using a papaya that we had brought with us. Authentic, very friendly and simply delicious!

This restaurant is a real highlight in the city and absolutely unforgettable. It is one of the oldest Thai restaurants in Berlin. Whether once again after a few years or several times in a row when I have something to do nearby - it has never disappointed me. As a half-Thai woman, I enjoy the feeling of home and home every time because it is authentic in terms of both taste and quality. The service and atmosphere can also be seen. No hype and just simply good! A big thank you and praise to the team that has maintained this success and quality for over 45 years!

Simply an authentic place. Walked in, only heard Thai-speaking staff, pictures of the king on the wall and a very classic atmosphere that I like so much. From all the dishes to the service and the price, there was nothing to complain about. If you want to eat good, original Thai food, you can go here with peace of mind, your wishes will be fulfilled!

The food was delicious, freshly prepared and I tolerated it well. Since I am allergic to various additives, I am always very happy about this. The chairs are uncomfortable, the ambience could use an update. The service was very friendly.

I went there for couple of time and ordered M7 and chicken noodle it was really tasty and spicy loved it after a long i had something really good. Only that their portions are little small for main course.

In the past the food has always been very good. Now we were back here after some time and were unfortunately very disappointed. Food came extremely quickly. Starters (fried tofu) very tough and tasteless, main courses mediocre in taste, but quite expensive. 17 € for a vegetarian curry is quite sporty. In addition, the service is cold and you don't really feel welcome.

Überforderte Kellnerin, die für uns zwei alles einzeln brachte. Irritierend schon, dass keine Löffel, sondern Messer und Gabeln gedeckt wurden. Ich hatte eine Tom Yum Suppe bestellt, aber bekam eine Tom Kha Gai, in einer größeren Kaffeetasse für 5,50 €. Mein Curry, von dem ich nicht satt geworden wäre, enthielt nur kleine Mengen von Kokosmilch, dafür Stangensellerie, Paprika, Champignons, Paprika, Chin. Pilze. Das Fischcurry meiner Frau war verkocht, außer einigen Kohlblättern waren keine einzelnen Bestandteile in dem Pamps identifizierbar. Ich halte diese Küche für nicht authentisch und wir waren insgesamt nicht zufrieden. Mit 2 Getränken mehr als 50 € bezahlt, zuviel!

Wow, real thai food, well presented in ample portions. Beware though, this is not your typical touristic thai imitation, they will cook it to thai strength, order it hot and it will be hot for sure!! A little authentic thai jewel!

Kleines, nettes Restaurant in der Nähe vom Ku‘Damm. Ich gehe seit fünf Jahren ein- bis zweimal pro Woche mit meinen Kollegen hin, und wir wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Die Mittagskarte ist einfach und günstig. Alle Speisen gibt es vegetarisch, mit Tofu, Huhn, Rind, Schwein oder Garnellen. Die Abendkarte ist hervorragend (und die Portion größer). Für mich ist es das beste und authentischste thailändische Restaurant in Berlin.

Leider ist es mir wiederholt passiert, dass man im Thai Elephant versucht hat, mich beim Bezahlen zu betrügen. Es wird ein Betrag genannt, der, wenn man dann eine detaillierte Rechnung verlangt, sich als zu hoch herausstellt. Schade, viele Jahre bin ich gerne immer wieder hingegangen. Heute war es das letzte Mal.

Very nice Thai food not far from Ka De We. Prices as expected for the location and for how much we ordered. The homemade Peanut sauce was really tasty with the skewers. The Pad Thai Noodles were also really good. The staff were efficient but not full of smiles and would not let us spend less than a €10 euro on card. Language barrier was a problem as my friends food turned up with bean sprouts despite asking for it to be without.

Kellnerin könnte ruhig mal ein freundliches Gesicht machen. Vorallem bei einer so gut gelaunten und freundlichen Mädelsgruppe wie uns :-). Ziemlich kahl, wirkt nicht wirklich einladend.

Sehr lecker, kein asiatischer Allerweltsbrei, hier kocht die Oma selbst, von außen etwas unscheinbar...drinnen gemütlich...

Das Essen hat uns leider nicht überzeugt. Die Sate Spieße waren sehr trocken.Der Hauptgang Pad Kra Ga (Hühnchen mit Thai Basilikum) war überhaupt nicht scharf und aromatisch. Die Tom Ka Gai Suppe war aber lecker . Der Service war freundlich.

Für schnellen Hunger ok. Mittagsmenü ohne Vorspeise ca 9 Euro, die Suppe dazu ab 2,50. War schon 2 mal hier essen.

Ich, eine Thailänderin war dort mit einem guten alten Freund, der schon ewig-lange in Vietnam lebt, wir waren dort spontan-fein essen. Diese Kombination sagt doch schon aus, wir haben uns heimelig gefühlt, das Essen war lecker, der Wein war fein und die Cocktails waren noch feiner.😆👍

Pas trop emballées par le cadre, nous avons un peu hésité en craignant un mauvais thaïlandais. Et bien non, la cuisine s’est révélée extrêmement raffinée et très bien épicée. Les portions étaient généreuses et le rapport qualité-prix vraiment extraordinaire. Dans le quartier de la Savigny Platz. Nous gardons l’adresse au chaud pour notre prochain séjour.

Kleines, feines Restaurant, lecker und tierfreundlich (man kann mit Hund hin gehen) Reservieren ist immer von Vorteil

Der Laden ist wie ein gehobener Imbiss. Geschmacklich sind die Gerichte mittelmäßig bis ungenügend. Ein Gericht kann von der Portionsgröße auch für zwei Personen reichen. Service ist mittlelmäßig, wir haben keine Servietten erhalten und die beiden Damen haben sich laut auf thailändisch unterhalten.

Lecker, schnell und preiswert - so muss ein Mittagstisch sein 👌

One of the best, of not the best, thai food in Berlin. If you dont go here, you are missing out. Try the rice and chicken, you will not regret it. The staff os friendly and the restaurant is very clean.

Für die gebotene Qualität zu teuer

10/10: große Empfehlung, bis jetzt das beste Pad Thai für mich in ganz Berlin🫶 (leichter Geschmack, nicht zu viel oder zu wenig süß/sauer/würzig, einfach genau richtig und gut!) Höherpreisiger Thai, aber gerechtfertigt und ok. Wir waren an einem Freitag schon direkt um 17 Uhr da, es hat sich ein wenig gefüllt aber blieb immer noch ruhig und gediegen. Ein echter Geheimtipp.

Pad Thai mit Hühnchen bestellt und stattdessen mit Tofu bekommen. Kann man zwar auch essen, aber ist halt nicht das bestellte. Ansonsten relativ fad, also keine geschmackliche Offenbarung. Schon deutlich bessere Pad Thai gegessen. Für 15€/ Portion eindeutig zu teuer. Freundliche Kellner soweit.

Ein etwas verstecktes, kleines und sehr authentisches Thai Restaurant - die Erdnusssosse und das Penang Curry ist ein Traum. Es gibt sowohl vegane als auch fleischlastige Gerichte, Getränke Auswahl eher Mittel. Hauptgerichte fangen bei 12€ an, für die Gegend ein üblicher Preis. Wir gehen regelmäßig hier her.
