Warning: Unhygienic! The water bottle wasn't opened at the table, which is already highly unusual. When my mother asked for a closed bottle, the server became aggressive. The level of disrespect shown to customers is unparalleled. Never again.

Delicious Pad Thai and extremely friendly service. The portion could have been a bit larger. All in all, though, I would come back!

Very lovely food and staff. We were looking for a place to have dinner and be able to pay by card, and they had this option. But on top of that, our server was a warm person with great energy and the food came in good time and it was delicious!

In short: friendly, fast, and delicious. I went there with two friends, and within 10 minutes we had our orders and the food on the table. All three of us enjoyed it.

It's a phenomenon I've been experiencing lately at Papaya on Kantstrasse and recently at Nollendorfplatz. It's all about seating. I arrived today around 6:00 PM, and there were plenty of empty seats. So I took a table without a reservation slip. Then an employee came over and spoke to me quite loudly, saying the table was reserved and how long I wanted to sit. She then showed me all the tables were reserved but without reservation slips. I was only allowed to choose two tables. Normally, they were marked with reservation slips. I experienced the same thing at Papaya on Kantstrasse: arrogant Thai employees! They are also hostile towards Germans with an immigrant background. Are Thai people more holy?

Came here for lunch and had an assortment of courses, really nice food. Services was efficient and friendly too.

I've been to Papaya on Kantstrasse every now and then, where I think the quality is okay. Here, however, I found the food very poorly seasoned and inauthentic. My beef salad was expensive, the meat was tough and undercooked, the dressing wasn't acidic enough, the seasoning was extremely bland, and the toasted rice was missing. I've ordered this rumor countless times at various restaurants and even cooked it myself, and this was definitely the worst. After a few bites, I asked why the toasted rice was missing from the dressing and was then lied to, saying that I "just didn't see it," but that it was there. Sorry, but no, just not. I also think €2.70 for rice or flat rice noodles is overpriced. We won't be going here again. What a shame!!

Very good, authentic Thai cuisine. However, you have to be careful with the spiciness.

I got pad thai with tofu (10 euros) and tom yum soup (6 euros). Both were yum, and I think it's really well priced!

I've rarely experienced a restaurant that transported me to Southeast Asia as instantly as this one. As soon as I entered, there was a scent in the air that immediately reminded me of my time in Thailand – a blend of lemongrass, chili, and that unmistakable street food energy. The dishes were extremely authentic. Not adapted "European" versions, but authentic Thai cuisine with all its intense flavors: sweet, sour, spicy, salty – perfectly balanced.

Whenever we're in Berlin, eating here is a must for us. The staff is polite and quick, and if you're lucky enough to sit outside, you can experience Schöneberg at its most charming and beautiful. The food was always absolutely fresh and delicious. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Papaya 🙏🤩🙏

The food was absolutely delicious, I went there with my family and we ordered 4 dishes and every single one must have been the best Thai food I’ve ever tasted. I strongly recommend giving it a try, for me it’s definitely a new favorite!

Conflicted about leaving this review here but after being a huge fan of their Boxi branch, this was completely disappointing. The food served here is not on par with the other branch at all. The service is also quite bland, like they don't really seem to care. Food: fried tofu in our dishes wasn't fresh and lacked flavor, food was served within minutes of ordering = not freshly made, pad ki mao had missing ingredients and the flavor was different too :/ Overall, I'd recommend you to try them out at Boxi to have your mind blown and you'd totally just skip this branch after.

Lunch m4 wasn't a hit, pineapple like it came out of a can, mushrooms didn't taste that good, I've eaten much better Thai. Food was ok, but nothing special. The only good thing was the sunny spot outside

You can definitely eat here. The food tastes and smells really delicious! The quality is really good too! It was just a shame that one of the two vegetables wasn't actually there. So we would have a lot of beans and very few Thai eggplants. This could have been briefly mentioned, but still delicious. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is not worth mentioning, but what is important is that it doesn't have that many seats inside. In summer you can also sit outside.

Papaya is a truly delicious Thai restaurant! I had some fried rice with chicken to take away and my friend had the Pad Thai. Both were prepared very fast and tasted amazing! They had the perfect amount of spices and you can add hot sauce at your own choice. The food is well packed and the service was extremely friendly. The restaurant is a pretty small place, that’s why we preferred to have our food to take away. I guess if you’re not in a large group you can find a place here, but tables are few. Would love to come back and try some of their other dishes!

Pad Thai isn’t spicy, though I’m sure they’d add spice if you requested. The lady in front was lovely. Service is great. Food very good. Small, lively place.

I'm Thai and I would recommend this restaurant. I tried Kaosoy chicken, papaya salad, shrimp fried rice and Kapao kai. All are Thai authentic tastes.

We were there for the first time. The food was sensationally delicious 😋 😋 😋. Service very good. What more could you want? We really enjoyed the evening and will definitely come back next time we visit Berlin.

This little Thai is a real discovery. Authentic, spicy, freshly prepared. We were there twice this weekend in Berlin and had a wonderful time sitting outside. Special recommendation: Tom Kha Gai Soup as a starter, then Pad Krapao Gai! The Mini Asia evening is perfect!

I'm particularly looking forward to this review. I've been coming here on and off for many years and I can definitely say one thing. Everything was always tasty. Not only delicious but also good quality and never boring. The northern Thai sausages are usually only recommended on the weekly menu. And the fried chicken skin as a starter.🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟✨

Booked a table for 19:30 and got thrown out promptly after not even 40 minutes so others guests could have the table eventho we werent even done dining.

Good ambience and good food... we were only asked straight after the meal if we couldn't leave straight away because they would like to give the table we had reserved to another customer... We hadn't finished drinking either... Thanks for that ruining our evening 😞 that was definitely the last time I went to your restaurant

We love Papaya! It’s such a gem. To be honest I haven’t tried many dishes as I found they serve THE perfect Khao Soy and get it every time I go there. Staff is super friendly and food freshly cooked in no time. It’s a small place - book your table (online, always worked for me). The cherry on the cake is that they offer Vytal boxes for take away, you can return them at many places. This makes me order one more dish for the next day. Very appreciated they there’s no waste created!

Delicious food and good service, but unfortunately overpriced dishes. A papaya salad for almost 15 EUR and a children's plate for almost 9 EUR. The prices add up quite a bit and only cash is offered. When it comes to prices, you should at least offer card payment. Apart from that good.

Seriously such an amazing restaurant! Cozy, small, laid back. Pad Thai is SO good. They can make it vegan! They are very flexible as well and you can ask for vegan version of many meals.

Geschmacklich ist das Essen echt Top die frischen Zutaten schmeckt man deutlich heraus, hier wird frisch gekocht ;) Bei genaueren hinsehen erkennt man das eine Renovierung (Küche) notwendig wäre :/

Wer lecker thailändisch essen will, ist hier genau richtig! Scharf ist hier wirklich scharf. Leider sind die Sitzplätze drinnen begrenzt, aber bei schönem Wetter kann man wunderbar draußen sitzen. Reservieren sollte man trotzdem. Ich nehme regelmäßig leckere Gerichte für mich und meine Jungs mit.

Lecker, schnell, scharf wie bestellt, freundlicher Service, leider keine Kartenzahlung, das ist unverständlich. Sonst alles ok. Eher Imbisscharakter, nichts fürs Candle Light Dinner. Aber absolut geeignet für ein schnelles Essen.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Und die Kellner waren sehr zuvorkommend. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Preis Leistung ist auch sehr gut.

Wir kommen seit Jahren hier her. Man kann sich auf die Öffnungszeiten leider nicht verlassen. Mal ist es 21:00 nächste Woche 22:00 Uhr. Leider sehr schade. Das Essen ist lecker, aber aufgrund von den unzuverlässigen Öffnungszeiten gehen wir nicht mehr. Sehr schade.

Ich esse hier 2 bis 3 mal im Monat und daß seit 6 Jahren. Kann man wirklich empfehlen wenn: -man frisches, gutes aber einfaches Thai Essen möchte -man in echt cooler Lage ganz entspannt die Leute anschauen will und dabei anständiges isst, in gemütlicher Blickrichtung. (Betrachtet mit den Augen als Profkoch seit 16 Jahren und heimisch im Kiez) Tatsächlich ist der Service oft eher anstrengend als hilfreich aber es ist alles im Rahmen. eher typisch Berlin.

Food is just basic, nothing special. Not a real Thai restaurant. The waiter completely ignored my table and prioritised others over us for some reason. Waited a while to place our order. Also only cash. Would avoid this place.

Food is fine but only pay by cash, I had to get money from nearby ATM, got 20 euro and paid 5.99 service fee!

Gutes Essen, bei freundlicher Bedienung, Wir hatten die Krossen Frühlingsrollen. Und einen Kokosnusscurry mit Tofu Beides sehr gut.

평일 저녁8시 넘어서 방문하였는데도 사람이 꽤 있었다. 직원분들이 다들 너무 친절하셔서 기분이 좋았다. 음식도 굉장히 빠르게 나왔고 모든 메뉴가 다 맛있었다. 독일 레스토랑 중엔 물을 차갑지 않게 주는곳이 많았는데 여기는 시원하게 냉장된 물을 줘서 좋았다. 제일 맛있었던 메뉴는 팟타이. 다음에 다른메뉴도 도전해보고 싶다

Wie waren an einem Montag Nachmittag hier, erst etwas irritiert vom Schild das zwischen 16 und 17 Uhr Pause ist. Wir wurden weil vor 16 Uhr auch schnell bedient. Das Essen und die Getränke kamen sehr schnell alles war sehr gut zubereitet und frisch. Bei Gelegenheit kommen wir gerne wieder und achten dann auf die Pausenzeiten, welche gut nachzuvollziehen sind, weil Pause muss sein.

Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Optisch einwandfrei und geschmacklich super. Der Service war freundlich und schnell, leider ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Für die heutige Zeit ein NoGo - daher hier nur 3 Sterne. Das Ambiente... Spartanisch, aber wir sind ja auch nicht im Ritz. Innen wenig Platz, daher unbedingt reservieren. Draußen muss man sich den Blicken der Passanten aussetzen und mitunter auch bettelnden Mitmenschen. Trotz allem: Empfehlenswert!

Der Kundenservice ist unter aller Sau! Wir wurden heute schon fast rausgeschmissen nur weil 2 von 4 Gästen zu spät kamen. Als wir dann gefragt haben ob noch eine Person dazu kommen kann war der Servicemitarbeiter sehr unfreundlich und hat nein gesagt. Als ich dann den Kundenservice bemängelte wurde er laut und dermaßen unhöflich. Wir verließen das Restaurant. Das war das letzte Mal das wir da waren!

Wirklich sehr gutes Essen. Die indische Curry Soße war super. Bekommt man selber nie so hin. Sehr freundlich und zumindest bei mir reichhaltige Portion. Typische Stadt Atmosphäre Rings herum Aber das ist normal. Auch auf der Toilette ist Desinfektionsspray vorhanden.

Uno dei migliori ristoranti thai in Europa dove ho pranzato. Ingredienti freschi sapientemente speziati. Solo bemolle , il cameriere ha sparecchiato con lo spugna per pulire in mano. Peccato altrimenti sarebbe stato un 5/5!
