Very good, very tasty Thai food. Definitely some of the best I've had. The restaurant also has a good atmosphere.

The food was amazing, and the seating was comfortable. However, one waiter we had was short with us. But the second waiter who came out to talk to us when the kitchen realized that my wife’s meal couldn’t be made gluten-free was very nice and helpful. We would definitely go there again.

Authentic Thai food. I've been to Berlin twice and come here every time. The fish with chili sauce is amazing, just like eating in Thailand. The mixed vegetable stir-fry tastes like home. The vegetables are still crisp and fragrant from the wok. The rice is cooked perfectly, with beautiful grains and no broken pieces. The fried bananas with honey sauce, served with ice cream, are excellent.

The food is amazing and as authentic as it can get in Germany. Had multiple dishes and all were amazing and look forward to have more soon. The service and atmosphere were also great. To be honest best sign was that there were also lots of Thai people. The mango lassi and Thai milk tea are also fabulous drinks. Can't wait to go again!

Gentle cooking methods such as steaming or gentle stewing are unsuitable for green beans. This is according to an assessment by the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR). High temperatures destroy the protein phasin contained in the legumes, which can be harmful even in minimal doses.

Very Kind and attentive service. The food was very beautiful and had lots of flavor. It appeared at first that nobody was inside the restaurant but we walked in and realized most people were sitting outside at the back. I would come here again.

The service was very friendly. Serving was available both inside and outside. Although we waited a bit longer for the food, we were more than pleasantly surprised by the food itself. My Thai companion said it tasted like home. The food was prepared very spicy, according to her request. She was very happy.

I've rarely seen a dish so artfully presented – on my plate was not only a perfectly balanced Vietnamese dish, but also a breathtaking vegetable sculpture in the shape of a swan, carved from white radish with a red beak and surrounded by artfully draped carrot flowers and fresh lettuce. This delicate decoration was a true masterpiece – a feast for the eyes! Flavorfully, the dish was a perfect balance of crispy texture, aromatic sauce, and fresh herbs – with a subtle sweetness and spiciness typical of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The portion was very generous and absolutely filling. The service was also impeccable: friendly, attentive, but not intrusive. Drinks were brought promptly, special requests were readily accommodated, and one never felt rushed – despite the restaurant being packed. Particularly pleasant: The restaurant seems to place great emphasis on presentation, freshness, and hospitality. The other dishes I saw at neighboring tables were also similarly creative and presented with attention to detail.

The shop is beautiful and clean. The food is fast. The cocktails are great. The price is good. Everyone is friendly. I am very impressed. Thank you very much. I will come back every time I come to Berlin.

I was there on Sunday evening. It was already busy. The wait for the food was a bit long, but it was worth it. Very nice restaurant and friendly waiters.

I’ve been to here several times, i liked it. but why the waiter today was so impatient and arrogant, the worst experience ever. When the dish we ordered has chicken/beef options, he didn’t ask what we want. When we order drinks and ask around friends for double check, he interrupted with ‘one by one, I can’t get it when you all talk’. Hallo??? You are a waiter not a pusher, be polite at least.

I went there in 2018 and was very impressed. I was in Berlin for 3 days and ate here 4 times. The second to last meal, the owner remembered and gave me a plate of fried bananas for free. The food was delicious and made me miss Thai food so much.

Excellent Thai food. Maybe even the best in Berlin. Had the green curry, massaman curry and pad thai and everything was delicious. The curries come in cute stone pots. Service was super quick and the restaurant is located super close to the Hackesher Markt S Bahnhof. At the end of the meal, they provided us with 3 shots of their non-alcoholic homemade drink which elevated the whole experience. Will certainly visit again!!

Wir kennen das Restaurant schon seit über 10 Jahren, damals noch als das Mao Thai im Kollwitz Kiez. Wir fanden die Qualität und Quantität immer top. Nun waren wir mal wieder dort und müssen leider feststellen, dass die Preise angehoben wurden, die Portionen deutlich kleiner sind und es geschmacklich auch nicht mehr so gut rüber kommt, wie damals. Damals wurde alles auf weiß-blauem Porzellan serviert. Nun sind es schwarze kleine, langweilige Auflaufförmchen. Daher müssen wir leider zwei Punkte abziehen. Sehr schade und ärgerlich. 😡

We've enjoyed many dinners at this restaurant. Unfortunately, it was closed for a while. Back then, you could only eat at the main restaurant. But now they've reopened on Dircksenstraße, very close to Hackerscher Markt. And the food is just as good as ever. The menu has a large selection. In my opinion, everything is mostly freshly cooked here. The wait time is short and appropriate for the preparation required. And the staff is still very friendly. I've always enjoyed eating here, and that continues.

Absolutely not recommended! I would never enter this restaurant again. The food is frozen and the food used is therefore cold. The fish was way too hard and the prices were way too overpriced. If at least the quality was right for the price, everything wouldn't be as bad. Thanks but I'll avoid this restaurant in the future!

Wonderful cuisine, fantastic service and tasteful interiors. A true gem. I have been a loyal visitor over the course of thirty years (first at the old location MaoThai, then at Sisaket) and have never once had a complaint about anything. Could not recommend it more.

By far the best Thai food restaurant in Berlin. This restaurant is located when you walk from Alexanderplatz towards Hackescher Markt. It's located on the side of the road so it's easy to find. After eating only greasy and greasy food, I suddenly felt a craving for Asian food, so I visited this Thai restaurant a week after coming to Germany. I think it's probably one of the top three foods I've tried in Germany. The menu was very diverse, but I was craving Pad Thai, so I ordered a plate of Chicken Pad Thai and a glass of Mango Lassi. (I remember you could choose between shrimp/chicken) When I first got the food, there was so much food, I thought, can I eat it all? I thought, but I emptied it. It's so delicious. Although the food itself is excellent, I realized that Asians must make a living by eating Asian food. The mango lassi was also excellent. The staff's service was also very good. I still remember him smiling brightly while serving me, and sweetly saying “Have a nice day~” when I was leaving the store. It was a perfect restaurant with everything from taste to service to atmosphere. It's not just lip service, it seriously makes me want to go to Germany just to eat this. I will definitely visit again this winter.

Went on vacation in Berlin for 7 days. Stopped by this restaurant for six days. The food was very delicious. The service was very good. It made me miss home! The price is not too expensive. Anyone who misses home, I recommend this restaurant🙏🙏🙏 Very impressed, taking care of customers, taking photos of the atmosphere for just one day, the rest I forget, I'm just worried about eating!!! 😊😉 If I go on vacation in Berlin, I will definitely go and support it again. Delicious I highly recommend the store

We went to Sisaket for dinner in a group of 10 people. We liked the decor, everything is very bright and friendly. What we didn't like. Some of the food only consisted of meat and sauce, there were no vegetables. The service was not attentive at all, we always had to call, even though sometimes the entire table was sitting in front of empty glasses. Sometimes we had to wait a long time for the drinks or they were only brought to us when we asked.

The food is very delicious. Papaya salad with fermented fish is the best. Steamed fish with lemon is also The Best. If I have a chance to come again, I will definitely stop by and eat it. The service staff is good and friendly. For Thai people who come to travel here Come eat without hesitation.

More on the pricey side but rally yummy. I loved all of the dishes: the gilt head, the papaya salad and the red curry. Only slight let down was my crispy pork belly. Taste was great I just think the sauce was toooo little to transfer the taste to the rice. All in all great place. And the sticky rice was sold out…

Apareció sin reserva al pasar como se veía bien. Cuando entramos olía increíble. Nuestra comida era agradable y rápido y estaba delicioso. Yo tenía la almohadilla de pollo tailandés que era precioso, pero un par de mi grupo tenía el pato frito en salsa de curry rojo que era el mejor! Preciosos cócteles también y servicio y un poco de bebida gratis dado al final!

Real Thai food 😋 I was hungry for Somtum and order Tam Tad (Pala), Yam Wunsen and Ped Krob. All were so good taste same like eat in Thailand 👍

Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience which I would even call passive racism. The waitresses were unfriendly and not at all happy to serve us. When I observed both the waitresses were talking quite friendly with other customers. 😞 Food is good but pricey. Due to the biased service that we observed I would not recommend this place. This is also the first time I have experienced such behaviour in a restaurant in Berlin. 😔

Tom yum is not tasty and very weak spicy

Nice restaurant on Hackescher Markt. Authentic delicious Thai food. Service was nice. Place is nice & spacious. Were here on Sunday lunchtime - it was manageably busy. Had papaya salad, Gaeng Kiew Wan, Yam Thaleh & mango sticky rice. Price performance is right. We'll be back!

This place is a complete scam. In Berlin it's full of very good thai restaurants and for cheaper so do yourself a favour and don't come here. Food is sugary and it felt not freshly cooked and in fact I even had a stomachache in the night after dining there. The staff looks stressed and mad, no smile, no kindness at all. A bottle of water resulted in 7.5 euros on the bill. I don't know why it has so many positive reviews, it must be from a previous time with a different management because food wasn't good, terribly expensive and even the service wasn't nice.

Unfortunately, I was too hungry to take any photos of this delicious food, but all I have to say is that it blew my expectations out of the water! I was originally just looking for some decent Thai food near where I was staying and saw that they had really solid reviews, but if you ask me, they deserve five stars!I got two different pad ties, and a Penang curry with beef as well as crispy spring rolls in all were excellent! I come from New York, where we have plenty of excellent Thai food and this would stand with the best of them! Looking forward to trying more

As a loyal guest of Mao Thai for nearly 15 years, I’ve always admired their impeccable food and warm, attentive service. However, since their move to Mitte, while the cuisine remains outstanding—still a 5-star experience—the service has notably declined. The female staff are unfriendly and inattentive, only showing a smile when delivering the bill, seemingly hoping for a tip despite the subpar service. The welcoming atmosphere that once defined Mao Thai feels absent in this new location, and I find myself missing the genuine hospitality that made their original establishment so special.

The food is good although very expensive. Unfortunately, I don't have the menus like I was used to at Thai Inside. The service is good as usual. On the farm it is very fast but also offers a quiet atmosphere.

I recently went to the Thai restaurant Sisaket in Berlin again and was unfortunately very disappointed. The prices are extremely high, disproportionate to the quality and location of the restaurant, and the quality of the food has declined significantly from middle class to not recommended. There can no longer be any talk of authentic Thai taste here. The Papaya on Kantstrasse remains my favorite because it impresses in every way. What was particularly annoying was that both the rice and the meat were only served lukewarm. Given the prices, I would have at least expected the food to come to the table hot. That was really disappointing, especially in summer, when heat and warmth don't dissipate so quickly. A lot of sugar and ready-made sauces are used here. The sweet and sour tastes like a bottle and not homemade. For a dish that costs just under 30 euros, it's a disgrace. The so-called Thai Iced Tea for just under 7 euros was much too sweet and a 200 Indian milk tea packed with ice cubes - more of a bad Indian-style milk tea. The price here bears no relation to the quality. The sticky rice with mango was the peak of my disappointment. Instead of the typical sticky rice, I was served a kind of overcooked rice pudding that wasn't cooked in milk or cream, but was just mixed in water with a little coconut milk. There were also just 4-5 pieces of mango for a whopping 9 euros. That was really a bad joke. Overall, unfortunately I can no longer recommend the Sisaket. Anyone looking for authentic Thai food will be disappointed here.

The food was okay but the staff were unfriendly, we waited 35 minutes to get our food although the restaurant wasn’t even 1/4 occupied. We asked for the reason and the waitress didn’t even answer and left saying strange unknown words in foreign language. We’ll never again visit this restaurant!

Amazing food and great ambiance esp in the hinterhof. Although located in a tourist area, this place has GREAT taste and a good price. We had the papaya salad and chicken satay. You can skip the decoration salad that comes with it - The cabbage was stale and bitter. Great choices for this warm summer. We also had the Pad kra Pao which was amazing and was quite a decent portion size.

Original Thai in all aspects. This is the real deal and every visit is joyful. The staff also speak Thai.

Very delicious. Please review in Thai. In case Thai people like us are looking for Thai food with the correct Thai taste, I highly recommend it. Somtam is really made in Laos. Ordering a tray and getting khanom jeen, pork tid, Isaan sausage, pork cap, kale and crispy pork is correct. Delicious, tears will flow. The service was very good and the shop had a very good vibe. Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic thai food. The flavor of each dish is very much like when I eat thai food in thailand. 🇹🇭 I was missing thai food for a long time and this is it ! The vibes and service were excellent. Have to go back there again.

Leider war ich vom Restaurantbesuch enttäuscht. Ich hatte einen Tisch für 12 Personen bestellt und den Hinweis gegeben, dass es sich um ein Geburtstagsessen handelt. Der reservierte Tisch war nicht geschmückt, das Personal hat nicht nach dem "Geburtstagskind" gefragt und natürlich nicht gratuliert (Obwohl es anhand der Blumen/Geschenke klar ersichtlich war). Erst nach ca. 30 Minuten kamen die Getränke. Das Essen wurde nicht allen gleichzeitig gebracht, es vergingen mehr als 10 Minuten, bis alle das Essen hatten. Es wurde nicht nachgefragt, ob es zweites Getränk gewünscht wurde. Das Essen hat geschmeckt aber der restliche Restaurantbesuch war enttäuschend.

Yesterday we went to Sisaket again as part of a larger birthday party with a reservation. It was a disaster. Neither that there was a little attention or niceties. Quite the opposite. We actually had to wait 45 minutes for our (overpriced) drinks. Nothing needs to be prepared for drinks. All you have to do is pour it and place it on the table. This shouldn't take 45 minutes, but must be done immediately in 5 minutes, because the drinks (also) serve to bridge the waiting time until the food is served. And the way the food is served carelessly at the table is unacceptable! No matter how overworked the service is, if it gets a little busy, the operator is 100% responsible for that! You could easily have sold twice as many drinks. This is done quickly and produces a fantastic margin. But it's better to save on the service staff (and risk alienating the regular customers. There are always "new" guests and that's obviously enough for the operators. Okay, not my decision. Even if we weren't in a hurry and in a good mood, you have simply thirst and appetite. And I resent the owners of the restaurant. We used to love going here at long intervals. But that's history now khun chap

อาหารอร่อย ตกแต่งจานน่ารับประทาน รสชาติดี ปริมาณเหมาะสมกับราคา บรรยากาศร้านดี แต่จะดีกว่านี้หากมีพนักงานเพียงพอกับการบริการลูกค้า บริการค่อนข้างช้า และพนักงานไม่มี Service mind ถ้ามองในแง่บวกคือ พนักงานคงเหนื่อย ลูกค้าเยอะ แต่ถ้าหากมองในเชิงลบ ก็ประมาณพนักงานโดนบังคับให้มาทำงาน แนะนำอาหารอร่อย แต่อย่าคาดหวังการบริการ เพราะอาจจะผิดหวังเช่นเรา โดยรวมชอบแต่อย่างที่บอก ถึงอาหารจะทำอร่อยแต่หัวใจสำคัญคือการบริการ ลูกค้าถึงจะประทับใจ

The restaurant is simply fantastic! I was here for the first time in 2020, when the name was different, but the map has changed Happiness has not changed to this day. Today I was back and had the stuffed pineapple with crispy chicken and once again it tasted very good and looked great! The homemade drinks are also very refreshing and tasty. There are always good lunch specials, but unfortunately I can't say anything about the taste because I always have my favorite dish when I'm there 😀 I would always come here again when I'm in Berlin and hope the restaurant stays around for a long time.
