Freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Das Essen war hervorragend. Wir haben lange nicht mehr so gut thailändisch gegessen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind auch groß genug, dass man unter der Woche auch ohne Reservierung als Familie einen Tisch bekommen kann. Jederzeit wieder.

As a loyal guest of Mao Thai for nearly 15 years, I’ve always admired their impeccable food and warm, attentive service. However, since their move to Mitte, while the cuisine remains outstanding—still a 5-star experience—the service has notably declined. The female staff are unfriendly and inattentive, only showing a smile when delivering the bill, seemingly hoping for a tip despite the subpar service. The welcoming atmosphere that once defined Mao Thai feels absent in this new location, and I find myself missing the genuine hospitality that made their original establishment so special.

Chicken was such dry that I couldn’t chew it so I left half… it is overpriced for the average in Berlin… and it’s not very good quality sorry

The food is good although very expensive. Unfortunately, I don't have the menus like I was used to at Thai Inside. The service is good as usual. On the farm it is very fast but also offers a quiet atmosphere.

The food is authentic and very tasty! Large portions at fair prices. Take into account that the service is slow and the dishes take a long time to arrive

I recently went to the Thai restaurant Sisaket in Berlin again and was unfortunately very disappointed. The prices are extremely high, disproportionate to the quality and location of the restaurant, and the quality of the food has declined significantly from middle class to not recommended. There can no longer be any talk of authentic Thai taste here. The Papaya on Kantstrasse remains my favorite because it impresses in every way. What was particularly annoying was that both the rice and the meat were only served lukewarm. Given the prices, I would have at least expected the food to come to the table hot. That was really disappointing, especially in summer, when heat and warmth don't dissipate so quickly. A lot of sugar and ready-made sauces are used here. The sweet and sour tastes like a bottle and not homemade. For a dish that costs just under 30 euros, it's a disgrace. The so-called Thai Iced Tea for just under 7 euros was much too sweet and a 200 Indian milk tea packed with ice cubes - more of a bad Indian-style milk tea. The price here bears no relation to the quality. The sticky rice with mango was the peak of my disappointment. Instead of the typical sticky rice, I was served a kind of overcooked rice pudding that wasn't cooked in milk or cream, but was just mixed in water with a little coconut milk. There were also just 4-5 pieces of mango for a whopping 9 euros. That was really a bad joke. Overall, unfortunately I can no longer recommend the Sisaket. Anyone looking for authentic Thai food will be disappointed here.

The food was okay but the staff were unfriendly, we waited 35 minutes to get our food although the restaurant wasn’t even 1/4 occupied. We asked for the reason and the waitress didn’t even answer and left saying strange unknown words in foreign language. We’ll never again visit this restaurant!

Amazing food and great ambiance esp in the hinterhof. Although located in a tourist area, this place has GREAT taste and a good price. We had the papaya salad and chicken satay. You can skip the decoration salad that comes with it - The cabbage was stale and bitter. Great choices for this warm summer. We also had the Pad kra Pao which was amazing and was quite a decent portion size.

Original Thai in all aspects. This is the real deal and every visit is joyful. The staff also speak Thai.

Very delicious. Please review in Thai. In case Thai people like us are looking for Thai food with the correct Thai taste, I highly recommend it. Somtam is really made in Laos. Ordering a tray and getting khanom jeen, pork tid, Isaan sausage, pork cap, kale and crispy pork is correct. Delicious, tears will flow. The service was very good and the shop had a very good vibe. Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic thai food. The flavor of each dish is very much like when I eat thai food in thailand. 🇹🇭 I was missing thai food for a long time and this is it ! The vibes and service were excellent. Have to go back there again.

This place is not suitable for families. I was asked to leave half way through my lunch because my baby cried for a moment. Still got charged the full amount. Nicht familienfreundlich!

Leider war ich vom Restaurantbesuch enttäuscht. Ich hatte einen Tisch für 12 Personen bestellt und den Hinweis gegeben, dass es sich um ein Geburtstagsessen handelt. Der reservierte Tisch war nicht geschmückt, das Personal hat nicht nach dem "Geburtstagskind" gefragt und natürlich nicht gratuliert (Obwohl es anhand der Blumen/Geschenke klar ersichtlich war). Erst nach ca. 30 Minuten kamen die Getränke. Das Essen wurde nicht allen gleichzeitig gebracht, es vergingen mehr als 10 Minuten, bis alle das Essen hatten. Es wurde nicht nachgefragt, ob es zweites Getränk gewünscht wurde. Das Essen hat geschmeckt aber der restliche Restaurantbesuch war enttäuschend.

Yesterday we went to Sisaket again as part of a larger birthday party with a reservation. It was a disaster. Neither that there was a little attention or niceties. Quite the opposite. We actually had to wait 45 minutes for our (overpriced) drinks. Nothing needs to be prepared for drinks. All you have to do is pour it and place it on the table. This shouldn't take 45 minutes, but must be done immediately in 5 minutes, because the drinks (also) serve to bridge the waiting time until the food is served. And the way the food is served carelessly at the table is unacceptable! No matter how overworked the service is, if it gets a little busy, the operator is 100% responsible for that! You could easily have sold twice as many drinks. This is done quickly and produces a fantastic margin. But it's better to save on the service staff (and risk alienating the regular customers. There are always "new" guests and that's obviously enough for the operators. Okay, not my decision. Even if we weren't in a hurry and in a good mood, you have simply thirst and appetite. And I resent the owners of the restaurant. We used to love going here at long intervals. But that's history now khun chap

อาหารอร่อย ตกแต่งจานน่ารับประทาน รสชาติดี ปริมาณเหมาะสมกับราคา บรรยากาศร้านดี แต่จะดีกว่านี้หากมีพนักงานเพียงพอกับการบริการลูกค้า บริการค่อนข้างช้า และพนักงานไม่มี Service mind ถ้ามองในแง่บวกคือ พนักงานคงเหนื่อย ลูกค้าเยอะ แต่ถ้าหากมองในเชิงลบ ก็ประมาณพนักงานโดนบังคับให้มาทำงาน แนะนำอาหารอร่อย แต่อย่าคาดหวังการบริการ เพราะอาจจะผิดหวังเช่นเรา โดยรวมชอบแต่อย่างที่บอก ถึงอาหารจะทำอร่อยแต่หัวใจสำคัญคือการบริการ ลูกค้าถึงจะประทับใจ

The restaurant is simply fantastic! I was here for the first time in 2020, when the name was different, but the map has changed Happiness has not changed to this day. Today I was back and had the stuffed pineapple with crispy chicken and once again it tasted very good and looked great! The homemade drinks are also very refreshing and tasty. There are always good lunch specials, but unfortunately I can't say anything about the taste because I always have my favorite dish when I'm there 😀 I would always come here again when I'm in Berlin and hope the restaurant stays around for a long time.

We had a very pleasant dinner experience at Sisaket. The waitresses were so friendly, typical Thai hospitality. The food was really very good and tasted authentic. The presentation of the food was also appealing. As we all know, the eye eats with us. We ordered the first two dishes on the menu in my picture. The house specialties, i.e. the dishes from Isaan, were strangely quite expensive. Compared to the standards like Pad Thai for example... I would like to know where the sharp price jump comes from. But otherwise it's really great and we'll be happy to come back when we're in Berlin again. Khop Khun Krap 🙏🏼

Absolutely recommended! This is actually still original Thai cuisine. Very tasty and sufficient. Staff friendly and accommodating.

Great Thai cuisine of very good quality

We were very satisfied. There were two of us and we both had the stuffed pineapple with chicken and shrimp. I also had the homemade Mange juice. At the end there was a shot at the house. Conditions were friendly and fast. 4 stars because there are occasional small “repairs” such as painting the stained wall.

The food was always great, whether lunch or dinner. But now the prices have become higher and the quality has unfortunately declined. You have to look for the meat, and fresh herbs like coriander, mint or Thai basil are only subtle... It's a shame...

My husband would rate this place a 4.7 - he loved his massaman curry. I loved my phad sen kie mau I just wish it had a few more pieces of chicken and slightly spicier. Overall, delicious!

Non so se questo ristorante sia il migliore in Berlino in quanto a cucina asiatica , ma sicuramente è tra i primi cinque. Ha un ottimo e ricco menù, soprattutto basato sulla cucina thailandese e un servizio molto veloce e gentile . Ovviamente il cibo è ottimo e il locale ha un bell aspetto

I was there with few friends we had Hor Mok seafood, which is seafood mixed with curry paste steam in coconut, wow taste just like back in Thailand. We also recommend the mixed appetizer platter to start very fun to share and duck curry also very nice not spicy and flavorful. The decor indoor is a little outdated but the outdoor garden seems very nice. Would definitely go back! All staffs are very caring and friendly always check on us if everything is ok.

Food was excellent and the service was very nice and accommodating. However, we had to wait a little longer than expected for our food. Nevertheless, the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff were outstanding. Padthai was very authentic and very very delicious. It's definitely worth dining here, but you might need some patience.

The ambience was upscale and roomy, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The Somtam (papaya salad) was a standout with its delightful flavor and beautiful presentation. However, I found the Phad Thai slightly lacking as the noodles didn't absorb the sauce well. Overall, it's a decent spot, but I may explore other Thai options unless location is a priority. Surprisingly, there don't seem to be many Thai restaurants in Berlin. I chose it as the meeting place because it was the most convenient location, but I was surprised that the atmosphere was much fancier than I expected (this is due to my lack of research). The som tam was really delicious, and the pad thai may have only been the same when I went there, but it was a shame that the sauce and noodles were superficial. This is the place to go when you really want Thai food in the city center of Berlin. I don't know if it's attractive enough for Korean residents living here to come all the way to the center.

Very professional service, pad thai is a double portion for one person, too filling in my opinion, I didn't feel good after eating it, overall good but not exceptional, waiting time for the waitress to come is 45 minutes, with food over an hour, but this is due to the large crowd in the restaurant

Food was okay. Drinks are overpriced - 0.2 drink for €6? Customer service was not good, the main lady who served us was rude. Won’t go again.

I was a regular guest at Mao Thai in Prenzlauer Berg. After they closed their branch, I'm glad they still have this second location. Definitely great in terms of taste. You can't get better Thai food in Berlin. At Mao Thai I appreciated the friendly and familiar atmosphere. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case at Hackescher Markt. It's just a tourist place and you get lost in the anonymity.

30 min to get a menu, then 1 hour to get the food (our orders were forgotten) even though the restaurant was not full. The food was good and plenty. I would have added 2 more stars if the service didn't ruin the experience.

I thought the food was delicious... I can't complain... It wasn't expensive either... Visually it was also great... The conditions were stressful... It was on the evening of New Year's Day. The restaurant was relatively full and they were understaffed for various reasons... It can happen, but then you might not want to let all the guests in. 😕 At the beginning there were 9 of us and we only got 2 menu cards. It probably took 15 minutes until someone came to take the order. And by the time the food came (there were only 7 of us) we had already been sitting in the restaurant for over an hour. I would like to give the restaurant another chance and go again, but I'll make sure there are more employees first. 😉😊

Shocking 55 min wait for a Phad Thai afternoon dish from their lunch menu. This is unacceptable. For any people wanting to have a lunch break here. Last time I come here.

Four of us went out to eat, we were all happy with our meals. Food was yummy, not too overpriced. FYI, some of the dishes come with rice, however if you order an extra serving than it comes in the same bowl.

Tasty food with authentic Thai dishes

Sehr leckeres Essen und Bedienung war sehr nett. Allerdings hat es ein wenig gedauert bis die Getränke und das Essen serviert waren. Warten hat sich aber gelohnt.

Wir waren heute da und restlos begeistert. Alle Gerichte waren super lecker und das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Gutes Essen für faire Preise. Freundliche Bedienung. Es hat schon ein bisschen gedauert, bis unser Essen kam. Vielleicht lag es daran, dass der Laden relativ voll war. Es ist aber nicht so ideal, wenn man nur eine Mittagspause hat.

Sehr authentische Küche . Kein Stress. Hab hier bisher immer gut gegessen und man merkt einfach den Unterschied bei der Produktauswahl bis zur Zubereitung ist hier alles im Sinne des Gastes. Danke und bis die Tage

Chúng tôi đặt bàn 20:45 cho 4 người. Khi tôi đến 2 người và chờ 2 người bạn nữa đến. Thì phục vụ bàn ra nói 21:00 đóng cửa. Tôi không hiểu sao trước 15 phút đóng cửa nà vẫn nhận khách đặt bàn. Tôi nghĩ người nhận đặt bàn này đầu óc có vấn đề....... một trài nghiệm tồi tệ nhất mà tôi từng gặp

Tolles Restaurant mit einer Vielzahl von ausgefallenen Gerichten. Guter Service, leider war die Kaffeemaschine defekt sodass wir keine kaffeprodukte verzehren konnten.

Sehr schönes, modernes Ambiente, sehr nette Bedienung. Authentisches Thai-Essen. Leider stand bei meinem Gericht auf der Karte nicht dabei, dass Koriander darin ist - wer das auch nicht gerne mag, sollte also vorher nachfragen!

Worst place on earth - would love to give a 0 star review, but unfortunately this is not possible! Went there for business lunch, waited 60 minutes and after asking for our food we were told that it’ll take 15 more minutes, if we take another dish.

Mach den Hackeschen Höfen sind wir eingekehrt, um unseren Hunger zu stillen. Wir, 4 Frauen aus Hamburg, waren rundum sehr angetan vom Sisaket. Sehr nette, unüberladene Atmosphäre, sehr nette und zügige Bedienung, frisch zubereitetes Essen, das vorzüglich geschmeckt hat. Wir hatten mehrere Vorspeisen und Getränke. Absolut empfehlenswert!

주말 저녁에 갔는데 사람이 많았는지 한 시간만 있다가 가라고 해서 알겠다고 함. 똠양꿍(은 아니고 똠얌야채 들어간 것)과 누들 요리 하나씩 주문했는데 일단 똠얌어쩌고가 나오는데 한 20분이 넘게 걸림. 이걸 다 먹었는데도 누들이 안 나옴. 거의 40분 경과, 기다리다 못해 주문 받은 직원(홍현희씨 닮은 여자)을 불러서 음식 안 나왔다고 하니 잠깐만 있어보라고 함. 근데 이거 물어보는 것도 힘듦. 왜냐면 눈을 마주칠 수가 없음. 물어봐서 아차차 싶어서 나온건지 뭔지 암튼 뒤늦게 나왔음. 아니 한 시간만 먹고 가라면 음식이 최소 20분 내로는 나와야 하지 않을까? 음식 맛은 똠얌 어쩌고는 배추 때문인지 김치찌개 같긴 했다. 달달한 김치찌개, 대신 독일 현지화 됐는지 안 시고 단 맛이 많이 남. 고수도 아주 쪼금 넣음. 태국에서 먹던 맛음 아님 ㅠ 드렁큰 누들은 너무 늦게 나와서 거의 다 못 먹고 그냥 싸왔음. 별 한 개는 마지막에 음식 포장해 준 남자 직원에게 주고, 다른 별 하나는 그래도 김치찌개 같은 똠양의 맛에 준다. 재방문 의사는 없쇼

Belle cour intérieure, nourriture authentique et belle portions.

Essen war sehr gut, allerdings kam leider jede Speise extra mit ca 5 Minuten unterschied. Natürlich ärgerlich wenn man als Gruppe kommt. Geschmacklich aber alles sehr sehr gut! Service etwas langsam, auch bei schwacher Auslastung. Hochstühle vorhanden.

I have no idea why this place is found on lists of recommended Thai restaurants nor why they received such good reviews. My husband’s pad thai was utterly bland. My pad khee mao was flavorful, but there were maybe five tiny green beans in it and maybe three strips of chicken; the remainder of it was swimming in sauce. Also, the noodles in our dishes did not seem like rice noodles (of which there were an inordinate amount), but instead seemed like wheat noodles. The Tom yum had too much sugar in it. The service was lackluster. There were numerous stains on the wall next to our seats and table. We did not finish our meals primarily due to the overall poor quality. I do not recommend this place at all. Hopefully there are distinctly better Thai eateries in this wonderful city.

Wir waren das erste Mal im Sisaket und ich muss leider sagen, dass das Essen uns nicht überzeugt hat. Da wir große Fans der Thailändischen Küche sind und regelmäßig Thai essen gehen, haben wir viele Vergleiche und das Essen in diesem Restaurant hat für uns lediglich Imbiss Niveau. Positiv hervorzuheben ist der sehr freundliche Service. Alle Mitarbeiter haben sich wirklich Mühe gegeben und der Service lief reibungslos und für die Anzahl der belegten Tische zügig. Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön und ruhig, da er in einem Hinterhof gelegen ist. Leider wie schon erwähnt, haben uns aber die Speisen absolut nicht überzeugt. Die Satay Gai (V03) waren knorpelig & die Erdnusssoße dazu hat leider auch keinen wirklichen Geschmack gehabt. Das Gaeng Massama (C4) hat melnen Mann von Zubereitung über den Geschmack nicht überzeugt. Ich hatte das Phad Baigrap (G06) welches mir auf Wunsch netterweise statt mit Hackfleisch mit Rindfleischstreifen serviert wurde. Aber das Gericht war leider in meinen Augen auch eher mittlerer Durchschnitt. Lediglich das Lahm Nueah (V07) war wirklich lecker und ist zu empfehlen. Alles in allem hatten wir einen netten Abend, aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passte für uns leider nicht. Davon abgesehen habe ich statt der angeforderten Rechnung einen Zwischenbeleg bekommen, was mir leider erst später aufgefallen ist.

Ein kleiner Geheimtipp in Berlin Mitte. Das Restaurant verfügt über einen kleinen ruhigen Innenhof bei welchem man im Sommer der Großstadt entfliehen kann. Das Essen ist eine glatte 10/10. Ich hatte die Ente nach Art des Hauses und meine Begleitung Curry mit Ente. Der Service ist freundlich und sehr kompetent. Die Karte ist klein aber fein. Wer authentisch thailändisch essen möchte, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

Jedzenie i napoje bardzo smaczne, a menu pokaźne, ale niestety obsługa fatalna. Bardzo długi czas oczekiwania na wszystko, od rozdania menu do podania zamówień. Nie widać było zainteresowania ze strony obsługi, a nawet jako jedyny stolik nie zostaliśmy poczęstowani pożegnalną nalewką.

Jedzenie dobre i to tyle co mogę powiedzieć dobrego o tym miejscu. Obsługa fatalna, na wszystko czeka się potwornie długo. Obsługa myli Polaków z Rosjanami, wiec jesteśmy traktowani jak wrogowie, co odbija się na ogólnym odbiorze miejsca. To była nasza ostatnia wizyta w tej restauracji.

Thai food, again one of the best in town. For Vegetarians, there is hardly anything. And they use fish oil in preparation of almost all items. I ordered Papaya salad (vege) and it had fish oil. Same with the veg curry. Veg Spring rolls were good to go. The non veg food was good. My colleagues ordered a few Salads, starters and main course. The food was good and presentation for impressive.

We were here with 6 persons. The restaurant looked okay and the waitress was friendly. We were there around 21:00 and the restaurant was half full. The six of us share the opinion, that the taste of the food was okay, but not great. What wasn’t so great is that the food wasn’t served out at the same time. First the white rice and baked rice were served out. 5 minutes later followed by the first plate and the last plate was served out almost 20 minutes after the rice. The person who received his plate last, had cold rice. And the first one was almost finished eating, when the last one started. Not our idea of a cozy dinner together.

Amazing food and great service. Toilets are very clean as well. Surely have Thai food there. Must try the boiled fish in lemon sauce, duck fry! One of the best Thai food that I had in Europe.
