I'm absolutely in love with this restaurant! The dishes are fantastic, everything is freshly prepared and incredibly flavorful! Takeout is also available! I always love coming back here when I'm in Frankfurt! Definitely worth a visit, as the food is top-notch!

This is my first and last time here. I'd heard and read a lot of good things and finally tried Aroydee myself. I love Thai food, but I will definitely never eat here again. Even the entrance area looks simply disgusting, and there are dirty rags on the floor. The restaurant has a dingy feel to it. The service is lackluster and unfriendly. But the worst part: I didn't like the food at all. I ordered Phad Thai, as I always do when I go to a Thai restaurant for the first time. It was almost inedible, as if it had been made with ketchup. Unfortunately, today was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had in Frankfurt in a long time!

Don't be mad. Ordered food today and, to put it bluntly, it was crap. But really. You refused to cancel even though the food was watery and not even remotely good. Result: stomach ache, so it ended up in the trash. I'm sorry.

We went to Aroydee for lunch today. The food was truly delicious and very authentic, as was the interior, which immediately transports you to Thailand. However, it was quite warm in the dining room, and the strong smell of food made it a bit tiring to sit for long. The value for money for the lunch menu is truly unbeatable: €7.90 per dish, generous portions, and you'll leave feeling full and satisfied. It's a bit of a shame that you can only pay in cash, and card payments are only possible with a minimum of €10. That's a bit impractical these days. We were less impressed by the service, which seemed rather annoyed and unfriendly. Overall: good food at a fair price, but the service and atmosphere could be better.

The worst restaurant I have ever been in Frankfurt. The food was just average, nothing special. The service was terrible — every time I asked a question, the waiter was busy chatting in Thai with someone else, and I had to repeat myself. The Thai milk tea was unbearably sweet, almost to the point of making me sick. Worst of all, both I and the people at the next table saw a rat running around inside the restaurant. Absolutely disgusting.

I was very disappointed by this Thai restaurant today. A large sign at the entrance says they have a lunch special from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. I arrived at 2:45 p.m. – a full 15 minutes before closing time – and was still turned away, saying it was "too late." This is completely incomprehensible and unfriendly to customers. Furthermore, the restaurant doesn't accept card payments. These days, that's simply outdated and just causes unnecessary inconvenience. All in all: very poor service, disappointing, and not recommended.

Judging by the comments, I wasn't the only one who had a bad experience with the service staff. The service was very rude even when I asked for takeout. As a student, the tip wasn't particularly noticeable, but even then, there wasn't a word. No thank you, and no goodbye. I won't be eating there again.

Used to be an inexpensive Thai restaurant, but prices have increased dramatically while the food remains mediocre.

The place is quite spacious inside, and the decor feels really authentic. The staff are all Thai, which adds to the vibe. I ordered my favorite—Pad siew . The flavor was pretty good, though the sauce was a bit thick and on the salty side. But paired with a Thai Tiger Beer, it worked out well. The portion was really big. The staff weren’t super friendly, but overall, it’s still worth trying.

Bad service. I've been here a few times – the staff is consistently unfriendly and disrespectful. It was particularly bad on the last visit: We asked for a recommendation and were given a completely different dish. Instead of clearing up the misunderstanding, the waitress became impatient and muttered an annoyed "Oh my God." No apology, no solution – simply zero customer focus. What made it even worse was the general attitude: The food was placed on the table with one hand without comment, no eye contact, no "Bon appétit," nothing. You felt more like a burden than a guest. Dessert arrived before the main course – and was brought from the direction of the basement restroom. That's simply unhygienic and unacceptable. After the renovation, the prices increased – but the level of service didn't. Quite the opposite: The service remained just as bad, if not worse. For these prices, you expect at least respect and a modicum of hospitality. As a guest, I didn't feel respected at all here. There are plenty of good Thai restaurants in Frankfurt – I certainly won't visit this one again and won't recommend it to anyone.

Visited there very often with friends or alone. Most of time I did not receive warm welcome . They always said they are so busy, every time when I heard that I really wanna find another restaurant. The food taste good, maybe that’s the reason the hospitality is horrible ~

Absolutely fantastic Thai food — authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented! We had the Tom Yum soup, crispy chicken with red curry, and of course the mango sticky rice — and every dish was spot on. The Tom Yum had a perfectly balanced spicy and sour broth, with fresh mushrooms and herbs that instantly transported us to Thailand. The crispy chicken curry was generous in portion, super crunchy outside yet juicy inside, served over rich and aromatic red curry. And the mango sticky rice — wow — soft, warm glutinous rice soaked in coconut cream, paired with perfectly ripe mango. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet stylish. Highly recommended if you’re craving real Thai food in town — we will definitely come back!

Pre-ordering was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is neither old nor modern, with traditional tables and chairs. Contactless card payments are accepted. The spring rolls were very tasty, but the sweet and sour sauce was unfortunately a bit runny, perhaps due to the heat? The mango sticky rice was very tasty, the mango was perfect, but the rice was unfortunately a single, homogenous lump... All in all, it's worth a visit.

From insider tip to negative example – unfortunately, no longer a recommendation. The Aroydee on Stiftstrasse used to be known for good, authentic food. Unfortunately, not much of that remains today. The quality of the food has declined significantly, and the staff often seems unfriendly, annoyed, or simply disinterested. In addition, the restaurant has been closed at least twice in the last two years due to hygiene deficiencies. These closures were presented to the outside world as "renovations." What actually changed in the end? Actually, only the prices on the menu, which went up, of course. The menus themselves are emblematic of the state of the restaurant: tattered, dirty, and unkempt. The interior, in particular, is visibly neglected. The tables are stacked close together, lacking any sense of atmosphere or guest comfort. And even though there are often plenty of waiting staff on hand, you get the impression that no one has an eye for the bigger picture or simply doesn't feel like it. Another major drawback: While you're eating, the entire Wolt delivery is being assembled right next to you on the table. This seriously disrupts the already unpleasant atmosphere. Overall, Aroydee today appears unloved, chaotic, and unkempt. Nothing remains of its former good reputation. It's a shame, but definitely not recommended.

Quite surprise to have such an authentic Thai food in Frankfurt. The pork trotters are so succulent, and the flavor is just so thai. Together with the rice, it is so yammy. Tom Yam has been localized, and it is not too spicy. Same for the glass noodle salad. Fry noodle is very good and the "wokhay" is good. After so many days of non asian food, this restaurant gives us comfort.

A real explosion of flavors - fast, delicious and without unnecessary expenses! There are no "passable" dishes here - everything is prepared with soul and precise calculation. The staff is friendly, the portions are generous. A top place for those who appreciate authentic taste without overpaying. We definitely recommend it!

Probably the best Thai food I've had in Germany and arguably one of the most authentic Thai food I've had outside of Thailand.

While some of the dishes were delicious, the service was a complete disaster. After our meal, we accidentally broke a glass. A member of staff immediately said, "No problem," and cleaned up the broken glass. As we left the restaurant, another waiter angrily ran after us, accused us of deliberately fleeing, and demanded 3 euros for the glass. His aggressive tone and disrespectful manner were completely uncalled for. I only paid the 3 euros because we were in a hurry, but I strongly object to his behavior. What was particularly disappointing was that he—an Asian himself—clearly treats Asian guests differently: When ordering, he repeatedly pretended not to understand my German and addressed my German colleague instead. Even during the debate, he acted as if he didn't understand the word "training." To me, this was clearly discriminatory. I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially for Asian guests.

Once an insider tip, now sadly disappointing! For a long time, Aroydee was one of those rare restaurants in Frankfurt where you could enjoy authentic Thai cuisine. The anticipation of returning after a long time was all the greater – unfortunately, this anticipation was not rewarded. The impression: They are resting a little on their laurels. First, the positive: The selection of dishes is still diverse and appealing – fortunately, the menu has even been streamlined somewhat, which should generally be good for the focus and quality. The taste, at least the som tam, was also convincing: fresh, spicy, exactly as you would expect. The chicken skewers, on the other hand, were quite different – ​​they were disappointing: apparently pre-fried, then reheated, which was clearly noticeable in both the texture and the taste. What was once tender and aromatic was dry and bland this time – a shame. The service also seemed cool and focused more on speedy service. The atmosphere, which may have once been appealing due to its simple, yet clean, and authentic decor, has now become dated. Some tables weren't clean when we visited, which shouldn't happen in a restaurant with a high number of customers in a downtown location. Precisely because a lot of frying and cooking takes place in a Thai restaurant, regular investments in freshness and cleanliness would be essential – but this seems to be where the problem lies. The decor appears dated, worn, and uninviting. A fundamental renovation would be urgently recommended to keep up with the city's dining options. Prices at Aroydee are now at the typical Frankfurt level – but the value offered hardly reflects this. Especially in a city with such a wide selection of Asian cuisine, this is a significant competitive disadvantage. The bottom line is that Aroydee is no longer what it once was. The quality of the food fluctuates, the ambiance is disappointing, and the service leaves much to be desired. A fresh concept—both culinary and atmospheric—is urgently needed to regain its former strength. Until then, I'll probably resort to the many other alternatives in Frankfurt.

The quality has decreased significantly. The food was served in what felt like two minutes - a fresh and tasty dish, especially with fish, can hardly be prepared that quickly. We had fish, papaya salad and beef and duck with vegetables. Only the papaya salad had a convincing taste - everything else was too dry and contained little meat. The duck was particularly disappointing: mostly fat and skin, and dry. It was also uncomfortably cold in the restaurant and the atmosphere seemed neglected - apparently nothing had been done to it for years and everything looked old and worn out. The cuisine also didn't live up to expectations, as there were hardly any Thai chefs to be seen, but mostly Indians or Pakistanis. I will not come back and cannot recommend the restaurant.

It's a shame we're disappointed with the taste, we go there every time we've been to Frankfurt but unfortunately it doesn't taste good there anymore... No longer recommended... after a long time we wanted to give the shop a chance but there was a small running meter who was totally unpleasant and shouted that she was alone and ran over her. Turn around straight away and never leave the store again. I'll never tell you again, I'm not even sure if they're still the same owners.

I've eaten Pad Thai countless times and this was the worst ever! It didn't look like Pad Thai at all. The sauce was whitish orange and not what tamarind sauce usually looks like. Very sour with flakes. Didn't eat it and noted when paying, it was ignored. Once and never again, a waste of money!

Fast, tasty and reasonably priced, we love the fried wontons and the Thai milk tea, mango sticky rice and fried banana are also super tasty, actually everything is very tasty, I can only recommend it!

A Thai definitely didn't cook here. The rice was mushy and the rest had indefinable flavors. Not Aroy!

It was definitely not worth visiting, staff without any help and without a hint of a smile, no wifi, stuffy and that's it.

I have been going here regularly for over 10 years. Just today a waitress yelled at my wife. She ordered a little spicy and I ordered normal spicy. Her food was inedibly spicy and mine was not at all. She then had these disgusting skewers. According to the waiter it was chicken. When I asked him about it he just said “OK” and then left. Never seen a store crash like that.

Authentic Thai food that delights! When I'm in Frankfurt, a visit to Aroydee Original Thai Küche is a must for me! Even if the ambience is rather simple and perhaps doesn't offer the most comfortable atmosphere, the kitchen is convincing across the board. As a Thai native, I can say with certainty that the dishes here are authentic and incredibly delicious. Some dishes remind me so much of my homeland that it feels like a little culinary vacation in Thailand. The service is always friendly and attentive, which makes the stay even more pleasant. Aroydee is an absolute recommendation for anyone who loves real Thai food - I'll always come back!

The food was delicious! I recommend the raw shrimp salad and the fried fish, but unfortunately the fish wasn't that crispy. Unfortunately the meat was a bit dry, but maybe that's how it should be? - Fish 7/10 - Raw shrimp salad 8.5/10 - Meat 5/10 - Shrimp soup with mushrooms 8/10 - Rice 7.5/10 The food came after at least 5 minutes, which is why I suspect the food is not fresh because such a fish takes more than 5 minutes to be ready.

I ordered through Wolt. Packaging was poor, the sauce had completely leaked out of one dish and both bags were soggy and torn. The dresser in front of our front door was completely dirty. In addition, crispy chicken was delivered once instead of duck (so we paid €4 too much). The satay skewers and wontons tasted like they had been warmed up, but the curry was very tasty! For the price I would never order from them again, there is a better way!
