This is one of those restaurants I can’t miss whenever I’m in this area of Frankfurt for work. It’s a semi-casual spot with a clean, modern look, no over-the-top or tacky Thai decorations, which I really appreciate. The place is actually run by Thai people (not the common “Thai-by-Vietnamese” type you often find abroad), and it shows in the flavors. I ordered the crispy duck Pad Kaprao and honestly didn’t expect much from Thai food overseas. But wow — while it came with just a single basil leaf (instead of the pile I’d hoped for) and a lot of long beans, the flavor was incredible. So tasty, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. Amazingly good. Staff especially Khun Boat are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Thai taste in Frankfurt without the clichés.

We've been visiting Thai Wok regularly for many years, and we consider it to be one of the best Asian restaurants we know in terms of taste. The dishes are always freshly prepared, very tasty, and the portions are generous, so you're always full. We also particularly appreciate the speed of preparation: our orders have almost always been served within 15 minutes. The restaurant itself is very large and offers plenty of seating – both inside and outside. Sitting outside is particularly pleasant in the summer. However, there's no air conditioning inside. On our last visit, with temperatures over 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit), it was unfortunately very unpleasant, as you couldn't sit comfortably either outside (due to the heat and because it was crowded) or inside. We would really like to see air conditioning here. Another plus point is the friendliness of the staff – you always feel welcome here. The meat is also halal, which is an important reason for us to keep coming back. The location is also convenient, and parking is usually easy to find. We also used to really enjoy visiting the branch at Westbahnhof. Unfortunately, they're no longer available, so we've become loyal customers of this branch. One minor criticism is that the prices have risen significantly these days – while the food is worth the price, you can still notice the difference compared to the past. We also find it a shame that the restaurant serves alcohol. When halal meat is offered, that doesn't quite fit for us.

Absolute trash. Only went because of a large group outing needing a big space. This place is obviously for the office crowd and probably does more business at lunch than dinner - so tell me why there is not only no air conditioning but not even fans? It was brutally hot. On to the food - a Thai restaurant where not one dish includes even lemon grass, forget galangal. And completely forget any spice. Tom Kha has peas in it? Why?! No Thai ice tea either. I had satay gai as the safest choice. Absolute dog food. Chicken was battered to hell. definitely premade/ frozen. Peanut sauce was a disgrace. I guess there were peanuts in it. I could make you chicken satay with peanut sauce at home in 15 minutes that would be 1000% better. I knew before going it wouldn't be great but my god it was BAD. I hope they close and whoever takes over as a pizza place or whatever installs ceiling fans at least. Do not go here unless absolutely forced to and then be prepared for it to be even worse than you imagined.

The ambiance is very pleasant and not kitschy in its Thai style. There's a good selection of dishes, and the ones we've had so far have been delicious. The staff varies in their friendliness; the kitchen team always says hello, while the cashier is unfriendly, especially the woman who takes the money. The same goes for the staff who clears the dishes from the tables. I think the idea of ordering and paying right away is a great one.

I've been a loyal customer for many years and always enjoyed coming to this restaurant—both for the food and the pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, my last visit was disappointing. As usual, I ordered number 26, but this time the sauce was noticeably watery and the seasonings lacked the usual flavor. The quality has unfortunately deteriorated significantly compared to before. It's a real shame—especially for such a great restaurant. I hope things improve again.

There's something for everyone here, and it's always quick. Prices have risen considerably in the last three years. You can now pay a decent price for a simple vegetable dish with rice and tofu.

The food is good, but the service is extremely bad. The women who work there understand next to no German and some of them are extremely unfriendly. I was there half an hour before the shop closed today and wanted to eat there. I specifically asked if I could eat there and she said no problem. In the end I waited 20 minutes only for them to tell me that I had to take it with me and that it had been there for a long time to take away. But that wasn't possible in my case, which is why I specifically asked. The woman was very unfriendly and reluctantly gave me my money back. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. On top of that I can't get any more Asian food anywhere now because of the time of day. Thank you very much for that. The boss of this shop should think again about his employees.

The food is nothing special. I liked the location; there's a playground in front of the terrace, making it a great place to combine with an excursion. The prices are far too high for the quality. There are better options in Frankfurt. I also find it outdated that they only accept card payments for amounts over €20.

A surprisingly good Thai Restaurant near the Radisson Blue Hotel in Frankfurt 👍🙂 Called in for a Work's Dinner on a Wednesday evening, we were able to get a Table outside without a Reservation 👍(the restaurant is big and has lots of seats/tables) The Menu has plenty to choose from including lots for Vegetarians👍, they also have a nice selection of Beers (including draught Erdinger 😎) Service was quick and friendly, the food was delivered without too much delay, and it was excellent! The Tom Kha Chicken Soup was delicious, and contained lots of Chicken 👍 The Ruam Mit (mixed starter) was also great too 👍. All Main Courses were also very good, tasting great and all with nice fresh ingredients 👍 The Thai Green Curry was a funny Bright Green colour 🤣 but it too was still delicious (especially with Crispy Chicken in it) 😎 The only negative (and it's not really a negative 😉) is the portions are LARGE 👍 It probably didn't help that we had been drinking Large Erdingers, but none of us could finish our Main Courses, which was a shame as the food was great 🤣 As for the Bill, it was very reasonable given the quality of food and Service on offer 👍 Definitely a place worth visiting you're nearby 😎

Not only did all the main courses increase by another €2, but the crispy chicken that evening was incredibly tough and almost inedible. I felt like it had been reheated or fried twice, and I had a stomach ache all night.

I recently visited this place and ordered tom kha gai with shrimp and pad thai with chicken. The soup turned out to be rich in taste, with a distinct aroma of coconut and spices - a great start. Da es nicht das erste mal war, dass wir hier gegessen haben hatten wir unsere Erwartungen , und die wurden sehr enttäuscht. Um 21:15 sehe unfreundlich empfangen. Essen musste sofort beim Eintritt an der Theke bestellt und bezahlt werden. Essen und Trinken kam recht schnell . Aber ab dann keine Bedinung mehr. Der Salat war eine Enttäuschung, die Soße einfache süße Chillidsauce, die Crevetten nicht gewürzt, der Salat einfach nicht geschnitten. Wir kommen nicht!

We were last there about a year ago, and the price-performance ratio was right. I don't know why everything has changed. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted very unfriendly... "only 10 minutes to order...immediately at the counter...we close at 10 p.m....then you have to leave..." Okay, it was 9:10 p.m., but we'll either get served or we won't!🙄 Then the food arrived: rice noodle salad with shrimp, which I've eaten here several times. Always delicious. But on my plate was half a lettuce head, cut in half, 3 slices of tomatoes, 3 strips of bell pepper, 1 strip of green pepper, a piece of egg, 7 grvettes... lukewarm and unseasoned. But the worst thing was the sauce, which I usually really enjoyed. Just sweet chili sauce from a bottle. At 9:45 p.m., the waitress behind the counter called out... "Well, we're closing now..." ... we left and, of course, didn't leave a tip... and my partner usually gives 10 to 20%, depending on the quality of the service. OK, there was only one table occupied... that should have been a warning to us. So either a new owner or they just hired bad employees.

I ordered green curry chicken and phad thai beef. I think you can choose not to order the two kinds of meat, just vegetarian. Also, the portions are too big to finish. Looking at the guests at other tables, almost all the meals were left over or packed away.

Unfortunately, the salad is not too tasty. Different ingredients were at different temperatures: Tofu was hot, glass noodles were warm, and vegetables were cold and in big chunks. But the soup is nice.

I tried the place yesterday dinner. How should I say. I tried several Thai restaurant phadthai versions but this one was completely different. No phadthai flavor. Was missing chilli and lime and seemed it had tomato flavor dominating over the dish. The only positive part «if it’s positive» was the size. It was huge. Service was completely impersonal. No feeling that they care about customers. In top I was forced to buy dessert cause they do not accept card under 20€. All in all. I’ll not coming back.

Ambiance is OK. Service was bad, I didn't know whether I was being served myself or whether I was being served at the table. I wanted a chicken salad with a different sauce, but that doesn't work with just the same sauce or none at all, then I didn't take any and what was important for me was without onion, after a short wait, which is to be praised, my salad came but of course it was full of onion. Thank you never again.

I don't know where the positive reviews come from. Guys, the quality of the chicken there is just sad. Cheap. I don't think it's okay to put something like that on people's plates. Strangely enough, the store was full and everyone was happily smacking their lips. Also totally lifeless in terms of composition. Of course the sweet and sour sauce covers a lot of things. Today I had number 24. I told the cashier that the chicken was of absolutely poor quality and she replied: Yes, we always use the chicken. Laugh 😀 Do you know what I mean?!? No plan at all. The main thing is that plates are sold and things move on.

The chicken is pre-cooked instead of freshly fried. It tastes musty and has nothing to do with Thai. Chinese takeaway. Way too expensive for poor quality. I've known the shop since it started in the Westbahnhof days. Back then you could watch the chef's hands. The meat was fried fresh and not taken from any pre-cooked (longer shelf life) containers and then fried. Who knows how long it has been stored. Chicken has to be fresh in the pan! So expensive with poor quality.

I have known and enjoyed visiting Thai Wok for over 10 years - even though we no longer live in the corner. Super delicious food, fair prices, quick preparation and a nice atmosphere complete the impression. Orders for pickup are usually ready after 10 to 15 minutes, great! I'm still very happy to come.

We were just visiting Frankfurt for my birthday and were looking for a restaurant on the way between Frankfurt main station and Jahrhunderthalle. I chose Thai Wok because I thought you can't go wrong with Asian food — but that also means you can do a lot right, and Thai Wok exceeded all of our expectations! Ambience great; totally beautifully furnished, modern and yet stylish. Beautiful location right next to a small park/green square, where we enjoyed the weather for a few minutes since we were there just before the store opened. Service was super quick, English menu available online (just scan the QR code on the German menu), which was great for my girlfriend, who only speaks a little German. The menu is large and there is something for everyone, and best of all: all main dishes are vegetarian or even vegan and meat can be added if desired for an additional charge. An absolute dream for vegetarians or vegans! Even without meat, the portion size is okay, but with meat it's a bit too much (we took the leftovers with us; dinner the next day was also guaranteed). Before eating, a quick trip to the toilet — the cleanest and smelliest restaurant toilet I've ever seen. But the absolute highlight was simply the taste of the food. Every dish tasted simply amazing. Whether curry, black pepper, sweet and sour - it was all just great and we couldn't stop saying how delicious it tasted (and it was hard to stop despite being full because it was just so great). Typically Thai, rice, vegetables and meat are placed on the plate in the very liquid sauce, and what sauces! The meat was also just great, especially the crispy chicken. Just a small note: card payments are only possible from 20€! But it wasn't a problem for us. After the visit I'm just sad that I'm not from Frankfurt and that I probably visited this restaurant for the first and last time. My birthday was already great, but despite the later event in the Jahrhunderthalle, I have to say that the highlight of the day was simply Thai wok. THANKS!!!

I had the tastiest curry ever here. We ordered dishes number 13-14-16-27. I ate yellow curry. Wow. Too bad we live in the Netherlands, otherwise I would definitely have come back. There is plenty of collection going on at the takeaway. Service 4 scored. Because you had to ask for a glass yourself for soft drinks. Is not given as standard otherwise it would be a 5 star

I ended up here with a bit of luck, as there are no restaurants at the Rebstockbad. The food was really outstanding and the portions were generous after a long day. Gladly again.
