I came here to refuel after the marathon, and the food was a very pleasant surprise. I had red Thai curry with vegetables and crispy chicken. The generous portion, the attractive presentation on a beautiful plate, and the perfect taste all combined to leave a lasting, excellent impression. I'll definitely be back.

A very disappointing and unhygienic experience I ate at Thaisnack in Frankfurt with my family today and had an extremely unpleasant and shocking experience. While we were already about halfway through our plate, my wife suddenly discovered a worm on her rice. Naturally, our appetite vanished immediately, and we stopped eating. We immediately reported it to the waiter and supervisor. They apologized, and we were only given the affected plate – we still had to pay for all the other dishes, which we understandably couldn't finish. The cashier even said it would be "unfair" if we didn't pay for the entire meal because of this. Absolutely incomprehensible to me and unfriendly to customers. Especially disappointing: This wasn't the first time! Almost two months ago, I had a piece of plastic in my food at the same restaurant (Menu 31 with rice). Back then, I had already eaten almost half the plate before I noticed it in my mouth – and yet I still had to pay for everything. At the time, I refrained from writing a review. But after the latest incident with a worm in the food, it's clear to me: massive hygiene controls are needed here, and the way complaints are handled is disrespectful to the guests. Conclusion: Two serious hygiene problems within a short period of time and no appropriate compensation or insight. Absolutely not recommended!

We thought it was great, especially that everything was halal! They also boycotted certain brands, for example, they sold Fritz Cola, and that's very important to us. The staff was super friendly and everything was very quick. Apart from that, the food was 10/10, and the portions were perfect. We were very satisfied with our visit.

I've tried many different dishes – all of them were consistently excellent! The halal criterion was also important to me! The restaurant is very clean, the hygiene is exemplary, and you feel completely at home. The staff is super friendly, customer-oriented, and quick – you can tell that service is a top priority here. A particularly nice thing: You can also eat outside. While it's a bit smaller inside, it's cozy and pleasant. Honestly, there's absolutely nothing to criticize – it's simply fantastic!

The food was delicious, but not turning on the exhaust fan properly is a no-go. Afterwards, we smelled like we'd just been fried – and as you can clearly see in the light, cooking smoke was everywhere, wafting through the restaurant. What a shame!

08/29/25 We picked up food there for the first time today. We had the No. 32 and No. 50, both very, very tasty. The staff are very friendly, and there's a clear view into a clean kitchen. I highly recommend it.

The food is always good and reasonable. Each time I come to Frankfurt I pay them a visit. On top this time I discover that they have a prayer room downstairs. So you won’t miss a prayer while enjoying your meal. Enjoy!

For me, this Thai restaurant is one of the best in Frankfurt. I've been there several times and can always recommend it. The food has rarely disappointed me. The only minor drawback: In summer, it can get a bit stuffy inside.

It's significantly worse than what I remembered from that Thai takeaway 15 years ago. It was cramped, loud, and overcrowded. The dish was way too salty, and lacked the typical Thai flavor I remembered. I can cook it better at home now. The waitress was unhelpful and made a face because I couldn't walk to the cash register due to a broken leg. She didn't even thank me for the tip. In the kitchen, which you can still see, there was some kind of stress because orders had apparently been mixed up. And the cook was constantly touching the food without gloves, carrying noodles halfway across the kitchen. Strange and off-putting; there are better Thai restaurants, especially in Frankfurt.

Fried rice and fried noodles come in small mini portions, unfortunately not as usual.

Thai Snack used to be one of my favorite restaurants: good food, halal meat, and fair prices. Unfortunately, a lot has changed. On our last visit in winter, a member of staff yelled at us as a group because we had pushed a few tables together – extremely rude and inappropriate. Now I've given the place another chance and ordered takeout. Unfortunately, the food was very greasy, the vegetables mushy, and the taste was far from what it used to be. They didn't provide any sauces; if you asked for one, for example, a hot sauce would cost €2. No consideration, no good service. In every other Thai restaurant, they just provide the sauces. With normal prices, I expect a certain level of quality. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case. It's a shame; it used to be 5 stars, but now it's a maximum of 1.

The Thai ladies aren't friendly. The food actually arrived in under five minutes, which is pretty quick even for a Thai takeaway. It was the wrong dish, though. The lady then said it was my fault. That's how you treat customers. I still ate the wrong dish. Unfortunately, I have to say I felt sick afterward.

It would be cool if phone orders were taken by someone who also speaks German. Three out of three times, there are errors in the order, which then leads to paying extra because you're not understood, even with simple pickup orders.

Our visit to Thai Snack was unfortunately a huge disappointment. The appetizers arrived at the same time as the main courses – a complete no-go, especially if you expect a bit more care in the sequencing. The sauces were far too runny and lacked any depth of flavor. Neither the appetizers nor the main courses were convincing in terms of taste – everything seemed unloving and inauthentic. The "crispy duck" was particularly bad – it not only looked unappealing, but also tasted disappointing. The appetizer skewers were almost raw inside – simply disgusting and unacceptable. Overall, a very unsatisfying experience. We were really looking forward to good Thai food, but were completely disappointed. We definitely won't be returning.

I'm writing a review now because Google asks me every day if I want to rate it. We used the GPS to get there, and we didn't like the ambiance or the neighborhood. But the food looked delicious, and the people seemed happy. It was also very crowded.

A really great restaurant with a large menu of diverse dishes. I was particularly pleased that they were able to prepare traditional Pad Kra Pao for me, even though it wasn't on the menu. In my opinion, that's the hallmark of a very good restaurant: they're willing and able to accommodate special requests. It tasted excellent and the portion was also very generous.

We ordered takeout online. The pickup itself was a bit tricky, as the employee wanted to charge us again, even though we had already paid via PayPal. We were able to show her the relevant proof, and she then called her colleague, who was able to resolve the issue. The employee then got confused with the dishes. We were able to show her our order again and received the bag with the food. Unfortunately, my husband received the wrong meal. The number 26 written on it with a permanent marker was painted over with a 28. We ordered the number 28, but the dish handed out was the 26, which would have been cheaper. The meal itself was delicious, but we probably won't order from here again. Mistakes can happen, but you could just admit that...

Very chic place, extremely friendly waiters, and above all, AMAZING FOOD! I can only recommend it; the best Asian restaurant I've been to so far.

The food was delicious and the portions were acceptable, but unfortunately the price was too high. My chicken was over-fried and dry. What I didn't like was that the noodle dishes didn't come with sauces, and you had to order them separately and pay extra for them. Every other Thai restaurant comes with sauces. I've never seen anything like it.

I ordered the number 21 with crispy chicken twice – and was totally disappointed. The noodles were dry, had no flavor, hardly any seasoning, and there was far too little sauce. This is simply unacceptable. I called specifically to explain the situation – the only thing the man on the phone said was: "They're like this." But no – they're not like this. I eat here regularly and know what the dish usually tastes like. This time, it was simply unloving and completely wrong. I was a regular customer, but a reaction like that makes you think twice about ordering again. The chicken was the only thing that was good, and the two ladies on staff were nice as always, but unfortunately, that's not enough to retain customers. Disappointing – that's not how I know Thai snacks.

We've been eating regularly at Thai Snack for ten years now, and for good reason! The ambiance has been redesigned with great attention to detail, with the customer in mind. It's a small, cozy restaurant that's always busy, and rightly so: There's always something going on! The food is exceptionally delicious, freshly prepared, and very generously portioned. Despite the high demand, the place always remains clean and tidy, which is definitely not to be taken for granted. The staff is also always friendly and accommodating, even though some employees have changed over time. Of course, you can't expect them to sit down at your table and make small talk—after all, this is a fast-food restaurant, not a five-star establishment. The service, however, remains consistently polite and attentive. We ourselves are also self-employed and therefore know how challenging day-to-day operations can be. If we do have a complaint—for whatever reason—it's always resolved with a smile and without any complications, at no extra charge. We really appreciate that! I even had the chance to meet the owner once—a very pleasant, humble person. We really enjoy coming back here! So I don't understand some of the negative comments. Thai Snack isn't a fine-dining restaurant, but a place for fast, delicious, and honest food, and it does it really well! Thanks to the team👍🏼

On a hot day, I had a refreshing spicy glass noodle salad with chicken. It was delicious, the service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was modern and clean. I liked it.

I was very satisfied and would gladly come again

There were three of us as a family at the restaurant. We weren't even properly greeted upon entering; we were simply pointed to a free table without comment. No friendliness, no sense of service. When ordering, my daughter wanted her dish with tagliatelle noodles instead of rice. The waitress told us that this would cost an extra €3.50. When we pointed out that the rice was omitted and the noodles weren't included, there was no explanation or alternative. I later found the matching tagliatelle version on the menu myself – the waitress completely failed to mention it. The food itself was disappointing: bland, barely seasoned, simply tasteless – especially compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. The restaurant is averagely priced, so not overpriced, but definitely not justified for what was offered. Then, upon leaving, the next negative experience: no goodbye, no thank you, nothing. Simply ignored.

The staff were very disinterested; I got the wrong food, and the chicken was missing... So I didn't want to stress, so I ordered another dish. What was really cheeky was that the chicken, which was forgotten, was also added to the bill... €55 for 2 dishes + 1 wrong dish, an appetizer, and 2 drinks. We also had to wait a really long time for a member of staff to arrive. Not again!!!

The food was delicious, except for a few points that I would like to note: Some of the vegetables were not fried well, the sauce was too runny and the price overall was too high. A dish consisting of white rice, two tablespoons of vegetables and Thai coconut sauce for €11 is simply too expensive. The extras cost an additional €2 to €3, which is still reasonable. Unfortunately, the service was not satisfactory - the waiter said he would come with the glasses, but then simply disappeared. The toilet was also clogged - too many negative points at once. The taste of the food was okay, but the price felt ripped off - that's not possible. White rice costs around €1.50, the sauce maybe €3, meat also €3 – that would be a fair price. Vegetables don't necessarily have to be included, especially if some of them taste like frozen goods.

We were here for iftar and had crispy chicken with noodles and peanut sauce - and it was simply delicious! The meat was perfectly prepared, the sauce was creamy and tasty. The service was great – super friendly and attentive. The food was served on time for Iftar and there were free dates. At the end there was even a fruit plate on the house – a really nice gesture! They are full, but there is always a space available. Despite the stress because it was getting busy, they served us friendly and well. Very nice. Food was TOP. Delicious. What upset me was that they said a little spicy in it, but I got burned. But it was a fun evening. We had something to laugh about. It was still super tasty. Duck dishes are definitely recommended. Usually very good, but once listed (and key) ingredients were missing, like at number 43 we had no cashew nuts and no mushrooms (we ordered the food thrice at our table and none of those had nuts, only one dish had mushrooms). I mean if they don’t have nuts at the moment its fine but you should tell the customers upfront that nuts are missing, not letting the customer order that dish and serve it without it without notice. But still, we are regular customers and usually there are no problems whatsoever, must have been a „Monday“

Thai-Snack has been an absolute favorite restaurant for us for years and is the main reason why we keep going to Frankfurt as a family. We are loyal regular customers and every time it tastes incredible. The duck, the chicken, the vegetables and everything else on the menu is super tasty and absolutely recommended. We have shown the store to so many friends and acquaintances, and everyone was just as excited as we were. A big compliment also to the employees: They are always really friendly, helpful and understanding. You always feel warmly welcome and in good hands. For us, Thai snacks are a culinary highlight that we no longer want to miss. 5 out of 5 stars – always happy!

We chose it for halal food during our trip to Germany. They don't take reservations, we had to wait in line in the evening. We went twice and it was great both times. I recommend numbers 21-22, their pasta is gluten-free. The place is a little small. You should definitely try it. ( halal food ) (for chicken, you need to specifically specify that it is schnitzel style, or they cook it in small pieces and mix it with pasta normally, there are also options such as duck and salmon, sometimes there are staff who speak Turkish)

Mein Lieblings-Thai-Restaurant in Frankfurt. Hier sind sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, die Auswahl an Speisen ist sehr vielfältig. Die Gerichte sind durchweg lecker und mit qualitativ hochwertigen Zutaten mit Liebe zubereitet. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich. Nach der Renovierung sind die Räumlichkeiten auch sehr schön und man fühlt sich wohl. Früher habe ich in Frankfurt gearbeitet und war öfter dort essen, jetzt esse ich dort immer, wenn ich einen geschäftlichen Termin in Frankfurt habe.

You have to try it! Come here every few months and enjoy it every time. We can recommend the udon noodles (No. 23) and “Red Thai Curry” (No. 31). Ideally with crispy chicken. The price is a bit more expensive, but it tastes great!

I would prefer to give 0 stars. We were left sitting and not served until the waitress came to us, not to serve us but to tell us after 40 minutes of waiting that we had to go out because we had a dog with us. In addition, the service was very unfriendly and the hygiene in the store is catastrophic. Employees completely unnecessary.
