Delicious seafood paella and good friendly service

We had a wonderful evening and an excellent meal. I find it difficult to find good, authentic tapas. This was my absolute favorite. Whether vegetarian, fish, or meat, everything was incredibly delicious. Perfectly seasoned, especially the octopus, etc., which were very tender and flavorful. The service was also good, and the location was authentic and cozy. Tapas are always a bit pricey, but I found the value for money here to be fair. We'd love to come back—I'm thrilled. Thank you, Taberna Española team, for this culinary experience!

How can I describe this restaurant? The service is excellent. You can tell that the owner's profession is his calling in everything he says and does. He has a perfect command of his craft, so I feel welcome every time I visit his restaurant. But his craftsmanship is topped by his wife. This woman has golden hands in the kitchen; no matter what she prepares, it's always delicious. It's not for nothing that the Costa del Sol is my favorite restaurant in Remscheid. On May 22, 2025, I returned to the Costa del Sol after what felt like too long. It's something I'd been looking forward to all day. And what can I say, the beef fillet I got was simply perfect 👌 I'm already looking forward to my next visit here. 😄

One of my favorite restaurants for many years! The service is very friendly, courteous and always attentive. No matter how stressful it is, they never let themselves get upset and are perfectly organized. The food here is always a pleasure, whether paella, steak or fish dishes, everything has always tasted great, always on point, perfectly seasoned and fresh. You can tell that attention is paid to quality here. The ambience is also nice, and what should also be mentioned, the toilets are very clean! I feel very comfortable here.

Four of us enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks. Everyone was friendly, relaxed, and informal. There's no rush to clear a table. You have plenty of time, and it's simply cozy. The tapas are plentiful, all fresh and delicious. We're happy to drive half an hour to enjoy the delicious food here. Thank you for a wonderful evening!!!

Super delicious tapas, super friendly staff. I'm just missing some Spanish music to create the perfect atmosphere. They mostly play oldies, but that doesn't detract from the food or service. I love going here. The price/performance ratio is excellent. And they're always developing new tapas and offering them on the daily menu for tasting. And then I'm asked how they tasted. We're extremely satisfied 👍

We've eaten there several times over the past three years! Reservations are recommended, as the bodega is very busy! The owner is very friendly, accommodating, and personable. The staff is equally so. The food is fantastic and the value for money is excellent. We'd love to come back, and for us, the bodega is the best Spanish restaurant in the surrounding area.

Delicious tapas and great service! The tapas were really delicious – tasted great and beautifully prepared. In terms of quantity there could have been a little more, but the quality was really convincing. The service was attentive and very friendly. I would definitely like to come back!
