We happened to be there without reservations. We were welcomed very friendly and the food, the paella, was fantastically better than in the ebrodelta. It's just a shame that we live in Munich. But we'll be back. The family run great atmosphere. Reservation is very important. We were lucky and now have a 3 week vacation in Spain 🇪🇸.

We really enjoyed the original Spanish cuisine

If you want to experience an authentic Spanish evening, this is the place for you. Like a vacation, great atmosphere, a very friendly family, the atmosphere is just great. You are immediately welcome. The food is simply fantastic. You have to order the paella in advance, it is freshly prepared and absolutely original. We'll definitely be back.

Although you have been in Merkstein for a long time, we only found our way to you yesterday. Unfortunately! Paella was great, tapas were very tasty, too varied to try them all (probably have to come again 😀). San Miguel on tap very tasty and drinkable, sangria also very tasty. The service and kitchen are very friendly and open for fun. For us it was a cozy Spanish evening that gave us a holiday feeling. Carry on and see you soon!

Ambience not particularly Spanish. Terrace not particularly nice. We sat inside because it was crowded and loud on the terrace. We sat almost alone inside, but at times it was so loud that it was difficult to communicate at the table because children were constantly drumming loudly. This didn't seem to bother the staff. And I only tip if I was happy, which is why I gave it. I don't throw money at anyone. Maybe things are different in Spain. Nevertheless, there were things that I would have found better, in my own personal opinion. And in Germany everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. I didn't insult you or harass you, I beg your pardon. If you can't stand another opinion and only like 100% positive reviews, ok. I can bear that. But her answer contains a lot of poignancy, but whatever, every Jeck is different... I know that Spaniards have a different temperament, I have several good colleagues and friends from this wonderful culture. We had a nice evening with you, otherwise we wouldn't have stayed so long. If it doesn't suit you or is enough for guests to "only" eat tapas and have various drinks, then you must post a "minimum consumption" at the entrance. We were there today with the family and were really excited. Delicious and super nice.

We're watching the Spanish games here during the European Championships. To satisfy our hunger, our daughter ordered Patatas Bravas and Calamares Fritos. The calamari was perfect: tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The patatas bravas were also muy bueno. The sangria is a dream. We will definitely come back to enjoy paella.

I've eaten at Casa Espana several times. Last on May 23rd, 2024 with friends. The paella with seafood or fish is a poem there. I haven't had such a good one even in Spain. The owners' friendliness and empathy leave nothing to be desired. Will eat there again soon.

Omdat we erg van spaanse paella houden zochten we via Google restaurants met hoge waarderingen. We vonden er 3, Barcelonetta in Gronsveld, Gracia in Aachen en deze. Parkeren langs de straat, beetje geluk hebben ! Casa Espagna wordt gerund door een familie. Warm welkom, grote mooie zaak, mooi en gezellig buitenterras met hoge bomen achterom. Fijne bediening, heerlijke fles natuurlijk Spaanse wijn voor 19,50. De mix-paella is perfect. Heerlijke saffraan rijst, niet droog, veel vlees (kippepootjes) en veel vis. En heeele grote portie (dus ook de dag erna nog genoten). Zonder meer de beste van de drie genoemden, die we alle binnen een maand bezochten. HIER komen we terug, hoewel we er 30 km voor moeten rijden......

This review only applies to the periodic *Spanish Evening (with live music)* (here 05/25/24) Conclusion: If you want to nibble your way through delicious tapas... leave it alone! The hostess had just opened the buffet when half the room jumped up and stormed off. She mentioned before that there are only small plates so that not so much is put on them that then ends up not being eaten and then has to be thrown away. Commendable. But that didn't stop the majority of the guests from putting mountains of food on the small plates. So the buffet was completely empty in a relatively short time. Since we took things slowly, the evening was over relatively quickly because there was simply nothing left. Nothing was added either. After about an hour, our personal plates were cleared away. End of story, nothing to add. This meant that the price-performance ratio (35 euros per person without drinks) was terrible for us. All the dishes we tried up to that point were very tasty. In addition, it was very loud in the fully occupied room. The level that started with the live band would have been suitable for a Rammstein concert. We then paid relatively quickly, although the drinks prices (wine/beer) were ok. were. All in all, we will definitely save this event in the future. But we'll still be happy to eat normally in the restaurant, so far we haven't had any problems with it.

Yesterday I was in this restaurant for the first time. In short, I was thrilled. The atmosphere is great, I feel like I'm in Spain. The two owners are so warm and friendly. It was just a very nice evening. Fortunately, the menu is quite small, but there is something for every taste. If the quality is convincing, and it is for me, then bravo. All questions were answered excellently. I had shrimp in a spicy sauce and was full after the portion. First of all, olives and bread with aioli. Plus a delicious San Miguel and I was happy. The price performance ratio is very good. I will definitely come again.

Yesterday we went to the restaurant for paella for the first time and we were absolutely thrilled. We ordered three different tapas beforehand and all three were delicious, as was the sangria, which we can highly recommend. The paella was huge and tasted just as good as in Spain, the price is definitely reasonable. The staff was very friendly and it was easy to chat, it's all very familiar. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. Me and a friend went there for tapas and ordered queer beet. The bread was cold and not of good quality. Our €13 cheese platter consisted of just a few slices of just one type of cheese and ours. The waiter was nice, seems to be a family business because we sometimes heard the cook playing and singing with the child in the kitchen. We thought that was very sweet. Nevertheless, we didn't dare order main courses because we were so disappointed. Price performance a real disaster. The atmosphere was a bit lonely, there was only one other table occupied. Carnival hit music was playing which I found extremely inappropriate and disturbing. Unfortunately it was also very cold.

It was super tasty and everything was super fresh. The live music was really nice and the food was to die for. We are regulars and love to enjoy a bit of Spain in Germany. You can't understand the rating from my predecessor, because the food is amazing, and if you don't like eating Spain, then you've come to the wrong place!!! We love you!

Waren das erste Mal hier. Wir haben Palla bestellt. Obwohl eigentlich nur auf auf Vorbestellung möglich, Restaurant flexibel. Kommen garantiert wieder.

Gutes Essen und freundliches Personal

Plötzlich im Urlaub! Heute das erste mal da. So lecker! So gemütlich ! So spanisch! Eine ehrliche, unaufgesetzte Freundlichkeit mit einem Lachen, dass bis zu den Augen reicht. Man sitzt so schön draussen und auch drinnen ist es gemütlich. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir die Paella probieren, die sah super aus. Hab vergessen Fotos zu machen.

Ik ben met mijn gezin gisteren hier voor het eerst gaan eten. Ik woonde en werkte periodiek in Spanje en ben in Spanje vaak wezen uit eten tijdens Siësta bijvoorbeeld. Ik heb dus rijkelijk mogen genieten van de culinaire en culturele hoogtepunten van het fantastische land dat Spanje heet. Ik ben toevallig dit restaurant tegengekomen en ben deze week binnen gaan reserveren voor 5 personen twee volwassenen en drie kinderen. Ontvangst was hartelijk we werden door het vriendelijke personeel begeleid naar onze tafel in de gezellig ingerichte tuin. Drinken werd gebracht. Mijn vrouw een lekkere sangria. Ik mijn vaste drankjes in Spanje San Miguel met een shotje Liquor Hiërbass. En de kids frisdrank. We bestelden kreeft kroketjes met pittige saus en het personeel bracht speciaal voor de kinderen andere sausjes die minder pittig waren. De kroketjes waren heerlijk zoals ik ze in Spanje gewend ben. Hoofdgerecht bestond uit een paella schotel twee personen en de kinderen chips met chipolata worstjes. Paella schotel met zeevruchten was rijkelijk gevuld en zag er als een feestje om te eten uit. We hebben genoten van het eten en de service. Een echte aanrader voor een authentieke Spaanse culinaire en culturele ervaring. Gracias 🇪🇦♥️ Jullie hebben een vaste klant erbij 😎

Supernette Inhaber,Paella egal ob Fleisch oder Meerersfrüchte absolut spitze,draussen sitzt man sehr gemütlich und nicht zu eng an anderen Gästen,Preise absolut Okay und sehr Kinderfreundich. Absolut empfehlenswert!Achtung nur Barzahlung!

Man kann in allen Bereichen nur volle Punktzahl geben. Es war einfach klasse. Wir haben dort super leckere Tapas gegessen. Lokal liegt zwar an einer Hauptstraße, auf der Terrasse bekommt davon nichts mit. Service ebenfalls 1 a. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Uriger, liebevoll eingerichteter Familiebetrieb an der Hauptstraße von Merkstein! An Wochenenden sollte man wohl vorab telefonisch reservieren. Die Paella muss man auch vorbestellen. Die Speisekarte enthält klassische Speisen der spanischen Küche - von vielen Tapas über Paella bis hin zu diversen Fischgerichten. Das San Miguel gibt es frisch aus dem Fass. Die Speisekarte ist sehr überschaubar gestaltet - es wird sich auf das Wesentliche konzentriert und spezialisiert! Dazu gibt es auch einige Tagesgerichte. All unsere Speisen waren frisch, richtig lecker und in großen Portionen hübsch serviert. Vor allem das Dessert war eine besondere Kreation! Das Personal ist durchweg total freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man merkt ihnen die Freude an, zwischendurch wird auch mal an den Tischen gesprochen, was zu einem sehr gemütlichen und familiären Ambiente führt. 😊

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal dort. Die Bedienung war herzlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Es wurden auch Gerichte empfohlen, die nicht auf der Karte standen. Das Essen war einfach nur köstlich. Egal ob Dorade, Steak oder die Tapas. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
