Nice local spanish eatery. Very friendly with our infant daughter and provided a high seat. lots of spanish classics like fried whitebait, chorizo, tortilla and fried padron peppers and some flamenco guitar hits on the hifi. the best value is their pork mains, but the fish is good too.

Here, the food is cooked and served with love! Everything is incredibly delicious and freshly prepared at an unbelievably fair price! We'd gladly drive from Cologne to Bonn again for this! 😀😘😃

Everything about this place is just perfect. A family-run business that's truly unique for us. Very simple, authentic, delicious, and affordable (almost too affordable, in my opinion), and the atmosphere is simply wonderful. It's become our favorite spot. Many thanks to the whole family!

Casa Pepe, run by a warm and welcoming Spanish team, completely won me over. Food: The selection of tapas is diverse and authentic. I especially recommend the Gambas al Ajillo: perfectly fried, aromatic, and served in plenty of garlic oil. The Patatas Bravas also had just the right amount of spice, and the homemade aioli was superb. The sangria was freshly prepared with pieces of apple and orange, and the coconut ice cream was divine! Everything tastes just like you'd expect from Spain – you can tell that true professionals are at work here. Service: The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, making you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. The team's recommendations were spot on, and despite the restaurant being quite busy, everything ran smoothly and without any long waits. You can feel the Spanish hospitality in every gesture. Great food at good prices. The service is outstanding; they and their colleague at the bar ran the entire restaurant single-handedly. We had tapas and were delighted. Only the ambiance (apparently a former typical Bonn pub in the style of the 60s) leaves something to be desired. Otherwise, everything was top-notch.

If you enjoy a classic Spanish atmosphere and good Spanish tapas, this is the place for you. The restaurant is often quite loud, but that's perfectly fine; it truly embodies the spirit of Spain. 100% authentic. The service is very friendly and top-notch. I also found nothing to criticize regarding cleanliness and hygiene.

A lovely and somewhat quaint Spanish pub (not meant negatively!). The whole family works there, and it really shows. You immediately feel at home, whether you're there for tapas or just for a freshly poured Estrella at the bar. The value for money is absolutely spot on, and everyone is very friendly. The best dinner evening I had in a while. The food and service was awesome. The atmosphere was inviting.

This establishment can only be given the lowest score. We had reserved a table for dinner, but when we arrived, nobody knew about it. The menu consists of a mishmash of different dishes, most of which are warmed-up frozen products from the supermarket and have nothing in common with traditional Spanish cuisine. The service was unfriendly, and we were served by several people in turns. The wait for the food took about an hour, and ultimately, all the items arrived one after the other and were not served together. The ambience also has nothing in common with a Spanish restaurant; it is reminiscent of the German restaurant that was taken over nine years ago. Last but not least, the Kölsch is served in a Hefeweizen glass. Simply abysmal.

A great restaurant! The tapas reminded me a lot of my vacation in Spain. The staff was super friendly, but also quite busy. The place gets busy, so be sure to make a reservation in advance and be understanding of the staff; it can get hectic. Nevertheless, everything is taken care of, and we felt comfortable. We (a couple aged 67/63) spontaneously stopped by the Casa Pepe restaurant/tapas bar around 5:00 PM on a Sunday during our short vacation in Bonn. The restaurant was already quite busy at that time. The restaurant's interior has more of a pub-like feel and also has an outdoor area. We managed to get a free table near the counter. We ordered five tapas: the patatas brava, the mussels, the chicken wings, the beef skewers, and the pork medallions with goat cheese. For dessert, we had the crema Catalana and the churros. All the tapas arrived promptly and were delicious. We particularly enjoyed the meat skewers, the pork medallions, and the crema Catalana. Our service was super friendly, and the value for money is absolutely fantastic. Overall, you feel like you're sitting in a restaurant/bar in Spain. If there's one complaint, it would be nice if the music were turned down a bit. But that didn't detract from a lovely and delicious evening, and we'll definitely be back on our next visit to Bonn.

Sometimes you have to wait a bit for the delicious food to arrive on the table, but the wait is definitely worth it.

Basic Restaurant with lovely staff and great value food. During summer you can sit outside, but there is no reservation possible. Inside it can be a bit noisy. The interior is having a certain charm. Everything we tried was tasty. Very child friendly.

The chairs outside are very uncomfortable. The waitress was very nice, and the food was delicious.

The name says it all. Typical delicious Spanish dishes. Several Spanish beers. And of course Kölsch too. Don't worry. They understand German. Very hospitable. Even when a reservation was forgotten. Child-friendly. High chair arrived immediately. Maria masters everything. You can sit inside or outside. Busy. It has to be tasty here. Tapas dishes are ready quicker. Drinks are served straight away.

Wir waren gestern Abend am 26. März 2025 zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Ich habe es mir zu Angewohnheit gemacht, bevor ich ein Restaurant besuche die entsprechenden Bewertungen zu lesen und fange immer bei den negativen an. wenn hier jemand schreibt Tiefkühlware METRO Produkte und so weiter muss ich bestätigen, dass dieser keine Ahnung hat. Im Casa Pepe erwartet uns bestimmt keine Gourmetküche, aber dem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis mehr als angebrachte Produkte. Ich wusste nicht, wo ich für dieses Geld noch Original spanische Tapas bekomme, dass ich für Gambas in Aioli fünf Euro bezahle und erwarte das ich frische Gambas erwarte, der hat absolut die Realität verloren. die Aioli war sehr lecker und wurde mit frischen warmen Brot serviert. Wir haben mit drei Personen zig verschiedenen Tapas und 1 l Sangria 83 € bezahlt. Mit Maria hatten wir eine sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Ich kann nur sagen, wer hören Standard erwartet sollte sich auch bewusst sein, dass dies auch dementsprechend mehr kostet. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden und bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal da.

We went to the restaurant for dinner last night, March 26, 2025. I've made it a habit to read reviews before visiting a restaurant, and I always start with the negative ones. If someone writes about frozen goods, METRO products, and so on, I have to say they've got no clue. At Casa Pepe we certainly won't be getting gourmet cuisine, but the products are more than adequate in terms of value for money. I didn't know where I could get original Spanish tapas for that money. If I were to pay five euros for prawns in aioli and expect fresh prawns, they've completely lost touch with reality. The aioli was delicious and was served with fresh, warm bread. The three of us paid €83 for dozens of different tapas and 1 liter of sangria. Maria provided very friendly and attentive service. All I can say is that if you expect a higher standard, you should be aware that this will cost a bit more. We were more than satisfied, and it certainly won't be the last time we visit.

We went for tapas here based on many enthusiastic recommendations and good reviews and were unfortunately very disappointed. Positive: The service is great. The waiters are all very nice and accommodating. You are very attentive! There are a few parking spaces in front of the house and the surroundings of the restaurant are generally nice. Medium: Unfortunately the atmosphere is very bland. When we arrived there were still leftovers from the food around our place. It looked dirty. The interior is more reminiscent of a clock pub. A few pictures should bring in the Spanish. The plates aren't that nice either. It's not all that crazy, but that simply makes the competition in Bonn more attractive. Negative: The bread came quickly, but unfortunately supports the image of the ambience: loveless. More like a baked baguette that was cut open. What is an absolute no-go for me is that the individual tapas all come to the place one after the other with a long gap in time. For example, for us the meat came first, then after about 5 minutes another tapas dish and so on. That's totally stupid, because for me the nice thing about eating tapas is that you can have a little bit of everything. We then waited until almost everything was in place and by then the meat was cold again. To be honest, this is the first time I've experienced this while eating tapas. I think I'd rather wait longer and then have all the food there at once. The meat was also very poor quality. Individual pieces of the beef skewer were still raw (see picture). I really like medium, but this was way below that. In contrast, other pieces were so gristly that we had to spit the meat out. The meatballs were fried way too much. They were hard on the outside and dry on the inside. We didn't really like the sauce either. The mushrooms were tasty, but so full of garlic that it almost blew us away. We are both real garlic lovers, but there were whole pieces of garlic in there, roughly chopped. I think it's a bit exaggerated. The green peppers, on the other hand, were very tasty, as were the potato wedges with aioli. However, there was something unidentifiable transparent in my Aoili (see picture). I just hope the egg is leftovers and not plastic. What you really have to emphasize, however, is that the price is rather cheap for the large quantities. Conclusion: We will not come back. I'd rather pay a little more for consistently good quality, a nice ambience and, for me, the preferable "everything comes into place at once"

The ambience is more reminiscent of an old German pub than a Spanish restaurant. I've had better tapas, but the portions were generous and the price was more than fair. Service was on point and always very friendly. We were there on a Saturday evening and it was very, very loud. You could hardly understand your own host.

Everything I listed here was simply costly. Freshly prepared food, friendly service and a family atmosphere are anywhere to be found here. I would recommend going without it. I haven't eaten so cheaply in a long time. Not that bad either... As a main course, meat platter. Sausages were burnt black. Poultry probably deep-fried, tasteless. Serve everything on a tray, lukewarm. After 5 minutes the food was cold. Pancakes for dessert. Apparently fried in the same pan with meat together...

The Casa Pepe in Bonn-Dottendorf is an absolute highlight for all lovers of Spanish cuisine! As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel like you are in a small tavern in Andalusia - the atmosphere is cozy, authentic and designed with great attention to detail. The menu offers an impressive selection of Spanish specialties: from fresh tapas to delicious paella and hearty meat and fish dishes. Of particular note were the Pimientos de Padrón, which had just the right mix of spice and aroma, and the Gambas al Ajillo, which were perfectly prepared and wonderfully aromatic. The selection of Spanish wines is also excellent and rounds off the culinary experience perfectly. The service was simply great – friendly, attentive and very warm. The staff take the time to explain the dishes and ensure that you as a guest feel completely at home. The price-performance ratio is also very fair, especially when you take into account the high quality of the food and the authentic atmosphere. If you want to experience a culinary short vacation to Spain, this is the right place for you. I can fully recommend Casa Pepe and am already looking forward to my next visit!

Most of the food was alright except for the tortilla which seems so odd because this is the simplest staple. Sepia was excellent. Pardon peppers also great. Tortilla and garlic shrimp disappointing. Flan was good. Service was friendly and quick.

Good Spanish place to be in Bonn

Great tapas restaurant in Germany. The food and drinks were great, with everything you would expect in a restaurant of this type. The attention (very friendly) and the atmosphere, also great. It should be noted that it has screens where it shows football (for those interested). I must also comment that the price is very, very good. On many occasions, a restaurant like this in a foreign land increases the price, which is not the case. Fair, sensible and reasonable price (I would say even cheap). 100% recommended. I have been 3 times and there will be many more.

Casa Pepe haben wir zu viert angesteuert, weil wir gerade in Bonn waren und -natürlich auf TripAdvisor:-)- ein gutes Lokal gesucht haben. Wir fanden es, etwas versteckt im schon fast ländlich anmutenden Bonner Stadtteil Dottendorf. Die Einrichtung war eher die eines deutschen Jägerschnitzellokals (nicht abwertend gemeint!), also unerwartet gemütlich und nicht wie viele ausgeleuchtete und nüchterne Tapas-Bars in Spanien selbst (abseits der Touri-Routen). Die Auswahl ist beeindruckend, und die Qualität super, von den Patatas Bravas bis zum Pollo al Ajillo. Lediglich die Wachtel war doch sehr trocken frittiert, die sollte man ggf. etwas eher aus dem Öl holen. Die Preise sind überraschend niedrig, auch für den sehr guten spanischen Wein (empfehle Rioja Reserva aus der Flasche, auch hier noch ein gesitteter Preis!). Der Service, beaufsichtigt durch die resolute aber super nette Juniorchefin (Bönnsch mit spanischen Wurzeln:-)) läuft optimal, auch wenn die Hütte voll ist. Bitte unbedingt kommen, aber auch unbedingt vorher reservieren!

We were in Phantasialand and felt like tapas. Since it was pretty much on our way back, we made a reservation and went there. I can really recommend it, the food was delicious. At first I thought we had made the wrong decision because the ambience at first impression didn't look "Spanish" but rather like a sports bar. But the food looked good on the tables of the other guests. I had various tapas, all of which were very good, and grilled pulp tubes as a main course, which were also very good but almost too much 🤣🙈. The staff was ultra nice and very attentive. The only thing you could possibly complain about was the noise in the restaurant. But because of the good food we overcame it.
