We have been here several times and have been impressed by the food and friendly staff every time.

We were very pleased with the friendly service! We had the mixed hot and cold appetizer platter for two people and will definitely order it again and enjoy it! We'll be happy to come back and look forward to another wonderful evening.

We were here for dinner and drinks for the first time today. Everyone was absolutely delighted with the food, which was very typically Spanish, great drinks, and incredibly fast and friendly service. Despite the noise of the main street, I can absolutely recommend this restaurant. We'd be happy to come back.

It looks unassuming from the outside, but once we were inside, we had a great day. The restaurant is perfect for a cozy evening of tapas. We felt very comfortable there.

Really, really good. The paella was a Spanish dream, the homemade sangria was delicious. Super friendly. Even the fresh mint tea was delicious. And I loved that they served Fachinger water. Absolutely fantastic!

We had a wonderful evening and an outstanding meal. I find it difficult to find good, authentic tapas. This was my absolute favorite. Whether vegetarian, fish, or meat, everything was incredibly delicious. Perfectly seasoned, especially the octopus, etc., which were very tender and flavorful. The service was also good, and the location was authentic and cozy. Tapas are always a bit pricey, but I found the value for money here to be fair. We'd love to come back—I'm thrilled. Thank you, Taberna Española team, for this culinary experience!

A fantastic tapas restaurant with a true Spanish soul! I was particularly impressed by the Galician-style octopus – perfectly cooked, tender and aromatic, simply a delight. The other tapas were also excellent: freshly prepared, authentically seasoned, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is very friendly and attentive. You feel like you're in Spain! If you love tapas, you should definitely visit this restaurant. I definitely recommend it!

You don't need to look any further... at the Spanish Taberna you have it, I recommend this place and be sure to try the mixed meats and the paella, since I travel all over Europe (my job requires it) I can say that it is one of the best I give a score of 10 and recommend 100%

A Spanish restaurant recommended by a friend! Seafood paella is a luxurious way to enjoy several types of seafood, and each paella is large and filling. The portion was a bit large even for two people to share. In addition, Estrella beer is light and easy to drink, and goes perfectly with Spanish food. When I visited on Friday around 6:30 pm, there were about 4 to 5 groups of customers, and the food was served smoothly. However, it starts to get crowded after 7pm, so reservations are recommended. If you want to enjoy Spanish cuisine, this is a restaurant you should definitely visit!

Doing our annual visit to Duesseldorf this week. One of us wanted tapas, so we landed at this neighborhood place. We ordered 4 tapas and 2 paellas. Everything we had was awesomely delicious, and the service was decent until the end... we were forced to add tips to our bill. Tips were generally not required in the past in Germany or other EU countries, but now the servers would openly ask for tips, and some of them were downright nasty. Can someone please tell me... tips are mandatory in the EU now??? We had a wonderful meal and it was spoiled at the end because a few bucks (15 euros)... what a shame.

Tapas were delicious, but unfortunately completely overpriced. Four small scampi for 12.50 euros… Unfortunately the place was packed to the gills and so it was really noisy. We wouldn't come back again.

Out of 3 days we went there 3 evenings for the same reason: very good. Great staff, great venue, hands down food. Every Tapas is delicious.

We read on a website that this restaurant had the best tapas in Düsseldorf. To be honest, that was a bit disappointing. Another small addition to the restaurant's response. We ate 6-8 tapas and they were all so lala. The Sangria is highly recommended :).

La Taberna Española - A real highlight! We really loved La Taberna Española! The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy, you immediately feel at home. The food was fantastic - authentic Spanish cuisine that you just have to enjoy. From the tapas to the main courses, everything was super tasty and fresh. The service was great, friendly and gave us perfect advice. There is also a great selection of wines that round off the meal perfectly. Definitely worth a visit! We'll definitely come back.

We reserved a table for two people by phone. When we arrived we were served two cards and plates quite quickly. It took quite a long time for the order to be taken. It was quite busy and there were far too few service staff. However, it cannot be the case that you are only served bread and olives in 1.5 hours. The water was completely forgotten. When the croquettes, which were still frozen in the middle, were served after more than 1.5 hours, I just asked for the bill. There was no apology here, but the full second beer and the full wine, which was actually ordered as sangria, were charged. There is a time for good food, everything here is fresh. The question of how the “fresh” food could still be frozen in the middle was not addressed. Never again.

On a recent visit to Düsseldorf, I decided to visit this restaurant because it was near my hotel and the google reviews were impressive. I arrived to a busy restaurant and was greeted with a warm welcome. The menu was extensive and impressive. I ordered a selection of tapas , including tortilla, meatballs, croquettes all of which were delicious as was the wine that the waiter recommended. If you’re in the neighbourhood and wondering where to eat cone here.
