Los Chicos Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf

This was our second time at Los Chicos, and it was another absolutely perfect evening. Especially because of Manuel Rague's live music! We'll definitely be back; the service was fantastic and the food was top-quality.

Simply delicious food here and fantastic service

Los Chicos on Andreasplatz caters to an urban clientele with Latin American and Spanish dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the location is centrally located. However, according to an inspection on May 8, 2025, several hygiene deficiencies were discovered: Food scraps were found on work surfaces in the kitchen – especially at the preparation counter. The handwashing sink area was overloaded with items that compromised its hygiene. Refrigerators had deposits and old residue, sometimes on the edges and seals. Cutting boards showed heavy wear and discoloration, leaving cleaning residue in the recesses. Walls and wall surfaces in the kitchen area were dirty, especially at the points where appliances meet or along sockets and power cords. Food was not stored in a fully protected manner in storage rooms: packaging was missing, and there were indications of unprotected storage of spices or dry foods. The official follow-up inspection on May 15, 2025, stated that all deficiencies had been remedied and the establishment had fully implemented the improvements identified in accordance with the complaints. Conclusion: Los Chicos offers an interesting dining experience in a central downtown location with a Latin American influence. The hygiene deficiencies identified during an inspection affected key areas of the kitchen and storage – residues on work surfaces, inadequately protected storage, and dirty appliance windows. It is positive that, according to the official report, all deficiencies have been addressed and a follow-up inspection has been conducted. It remains important for potential guests to pay attention to indoor hygiene and the condition of the appliances to form their own opinion.

I went to the steakhouse in Düsseldorf and I was absolutely thrilled! The food was simply fantastic – the steak was perfectly prepared, super tender, and cooked to perfection. The service was also friendly and attentive. The ambiance is cozy and inviting. I can only recommend the restaurant – everything was simply fantastic.

The croquetas, the gambas al ajillo, and the leche frita are absolute highlights. The atmosphere is warm, and you immediately feel welcome, whether with friends, family, or just the two of you. The service is attentive and friendly. A real bonus: every Friday and Saturday there's live music with Spanish singers! I highly recommend it to anyone who craves authentic Spanish cuisine!

Sensational 🔆 We were greeted so warmly, warmly, and cheerfully and were pampered throughout the evening. A great wine recommendation, super delicious tapas, and no matter what our requests were, they were always responded to in a friendly manner and fulfilled immediately. The warm treatment of all guests is absolutely recommendable, and the quality of the food was top-notch 👍 highly recommended! We'll be back ❤️

We came for 4 days to Düsseldorf and on two of the nights we came to this restaurant. The food was incredible, tasted amazing and the quality was fantastic. The staff were so welcoming and were a great laugh. Recommend this restaurant to anyone. Eleonora, Tony and Carlos the best staff in the whole of Germany. Fantastisch.

Very good Spanish cuisine, and the service, seriously... On the Maile in the old town... I've rarely seen something as good as this. If you want old-school food, then this is it. We'll be back again and again. Please stop by and stop by. It's worth it. La Vie Five stars.

Relaxed atmosphere especially on Saturday, everyone walks by, young and old

I've always loved Spanish cuisine. But this Düsseldorf Spanish cuisine is really bad. And the chicken is almost raw for the guests.

There were eight of us and a dog. The chef spoiled the dog with salami and cheese, even some dessert and, of course, water. The food was truly excellent. I've rarely had such good steak for the price.

A lovely Spanish restaurant on a side street in Düsseldorf's old town. We had the tapas platter for two, which was delicious. It came with a bottle of wine, which was also good. We had a lovely evening.

The food is very good, but some of the portions are a bit small. Unfortunately, the staff doesn't inform you when dishes are changed. A little notice from the waiter would have been helpful, then I would have ordered something else. We were able to reorder drinks upon request. Hence the only 3 stars.

Very nice Spanish restaurant in the center of the city, lots of space inside. Menu is not that big but we tried rib eye steaks and they were really good. It is a bit pricey but the quality of the food is good. They also serve good beer at decent prices. Service was fast and very polite.

The hosts and servers are amazingly beautiful, kindhearted and warm! The moment I walked in and encountered their warm gestures I knew I would enjoy it. Such warm and pleasant ambiance amidst all the other hustle and bustle locations I got two appetizers/small plates because I wanted somewhat of a variety. And it was filling and delicious and the Catalan pudding was sumptuous!

It was another unforgettable evening. The food was super tasty, very attentive staff. We always strive to fulfill our guests' every wish. Last but not least, Manuel Ragué's live act, which puts you completely into Spanish holiday mode with its partly atmospheric, partly very emotional sounds 🤩🥰 We are thrilled and would love to come back.

Éramos un grupo en un viaje de negocios y terminamos aquí después de buenas críticas en línea y no nos decepcionó! Nos sirvieron filetes increíbles todos de Argentina, a pesar de que teníamos varias solicitudes diferentes de cómo se debe cocinar el filete, todos cumplieron con los requisitos. Las guarniciones eran buenas pero el filete es sin duda la estrella aquí. El servicio también fue de 10 / 10 , camarero agradable y atento. Recomendaría a todos probar esto.

Effectively the best piece of meat we have ever eaten. We had the fillet steak, it melted in our tongue. So incredibly soft in texture and delicious taste. Highly recommended. The service was also very good. We received our order quite quickly after placing it. Also very friendly service with fun and a smile.

Estábamos pasando la semana - fin en Düsseldorf y nuestra hija de alguna manera había encontrado este lugar a través de las redes sociales. Era una calurosa noche de verano en septiembre y la terraza ya estaba bastante llena, pero el encantador camarero mágicamente se las arregló para organizar una pequeña mesa para nosotros afuera. Él fue muy amable con nosotros durante toda la comida, la comida era muy buena y me tomó un tiempo darme cuenta de que la canción / voz vino de un cantante en vivo dentro : - ) 200% estilo de vacaciones ! ! ! Puedo recomendar este restaurante!
