La Copita in Düsseldorf

Have been in this area in previous years for trade shows but never tried La Copita until recently. Very pleasantly surprised. Helpful and friendly staff. Food was fantastic. If back in the area, I definitely would visit again. Sehr gutt!

Unfortunately, the innkeeper cares more about the disrespectful, excessively loud trade fair guests, who only make a few sales once in a blue moon, than the regulars from the neighborhood! It's a shame. Settling arguments isn't everyone's cup of tea! But when a group of three is exorbitantly loud and thus extremely disruptive to guests who want to chat, the innkeeper has to be able to mediate! There were several groups there who were able to converse respectfully at a normal volume! The group of three was truly out of bounds and bothered more than just me and my companion! Today was the last time I was there!

Just like in the old town, this is a beautifully decorated shop with good tapas and Mediterranean main dishes and prompt service.

The two of us were on a weekend trip to Düsseldorf and stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant quite by chance. Right next to the tram stop, it also had a great location for us (although we almost missed it). As a tapas lover, you simply have to eat here! The selection was fantastic, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service left nothing to be desired. The fact that we had a very stimulating conversation with our super friendly table neighbors was an added bonus for us. When we're back in the city, we'll definitely be back! Please keep up the good work!

The food is really tasty. But the service could be better. Main problem was that we have reserved a table for 7 people. And 2.5 hours later they come and ask us to leave, because they need the table. Not nice. Also there is no network inside. No mobile connectivity.

One of my favorite restaurants in Düsseldorf! Very authentic – from the olives to the large, delicious plates. We ordered sea bream and veal liver, both of which were beyond delicious. With a glass of sangria, it was simply perfect. A definite 10/10 for me.

We went there and ordered, among other things, a vegetarian paella, and both waitresses were amused by our actions. The way we were treated didn't make us feel very comfortable. Neither of them was particularly friendly. We still tipped, but only out of politeness. The ambiance is nice, and the food was good.

We spontaneously stopped by here for the first time today with friends, and we'll definitely be back—even from Cologne! The staff was super attentive, friendly, super personable, and quick—) great service! And also the food…the tapas were all incredibly delicious, and especially the aioli—yummy! And the staff even took time to take snapshots of our group, even though it was obviously quite busy—) really great! Clearly recommend it♥️

Seating is a bit too dense. Food was ok, but nothing special. However, as a „tea“ they give you a tiny glass cup with the mediocre tea bag from the supermarket. When you ask to add some additional hot water into your cup (one time), they refuse and ask you to pay for that (first time I‘ve heard it in years) 🤡

Despite an hour's drive, it was worth every mile. The food was incredibly delicious – our tapas arrived in just a few minutes, and every single one tasted amazing! As a small family (my 90-year-old father, my sister, and I) we always enjoy dining there. The lunch menu items are excellently prepared, and the house wine, whether red or white, is well-chilled and delicious. Add to that the friendly service. Dining out here is still a pleasure.

We entered the restaurant and our first impression wasn't so pleasant, as one of the waiters was sick and coughed and sneezed without covering his mouth and he was serving the food. Food was tasty, but the Tortilla de patata and the aioli were far from Spanish dishes.

La Copita is a real gem for all tapas lovers! The selection is huge and every single tapas tastes like a short vacation in Spain - especially the bacon-wrapped dates and the albóndigas are amazing. Add a good wine or sangria and the evening is perfect. The shop has a really cozy, authentic atmosphere, you can tell that the cooking here is made with heart. This recommendation was worth it! Authentic tapas of very good and fresh quality. A great selection with some specialties, such as the roasted quail. A prompt and attentive service team fulfills all customer requests. Drinks are always at the perfect temperature. The ambiance is also very rustic and typical of a tapas bar. We reserved this restaurant with very high expectations and indeed the food quality is really good and fulfilling. BUT the service from one old guy was very rude and bad from the very beginning, and during the dinner he took away dishes so carelessly that it created so many noises and rearranged our food from plates to plates with his hands without asking us. We felt treated differently compared to other guests, maybe because of our looks or even races? Anyway I won’t come back here again and recommend to anyone.

La Copita on Nordstrasse is a small Spanish restaurant right in the middle of the action. Not immediately visible from the outside and with a small terrace. There is a large menu with many delicious tapas. The staff is very nice and the toilets were also OK. We have had several pleasant evenings there and always enjoy coming.

I've been eating at La Copita for 15 years with a break of almost 10 years - the food, ambience, service and quality of the dishes are always top notch. One of the few restaurants that manage to maintain their quality over such a long period of time. Keep it up!

Price-performance ratio is zero here. Small portions, horrendous amounts of money and not even really tasty. Unfortunately I expected more. The only good thing was the promptness of the waiters so that the guests were ready quickly. Was really disappointed and went home hungry after a €90 bill.

We ordered 4 tapas, a dessert, a bottle of water and a 0.75 bottle of wine. We were charged for bread and olives (not requested, offered before meals). They also accidentally brought us an extra plate of tapas. The total cost was €100 for two people. Ah, in the menu prices do not include final tax, so you will find higher prices at checkout. We will never go there again and would not recommend it. 1. We ordered a bottle of wine starting at around 25 euros. 2. We didn't order olives or bread. They were offered to us by the house, but coincidentally they were included in the bill. Shameful. You have nothing to do with Spain since you are all Germans (and in fact you can see the result). 3. Apparently ordering an alioli sauce twice increased the price. Impressive! 4. We happily ate and paid for the extra plate of tapas we were given, because that's true! But to me it seemed like a shoddy way to get customers to spend more money 5. And anyway, I give you a tip about Patatas Bravas: Avoid using frozen potatoes that you bought in net, because Paratas Bravas are handmade as it is an easy dish to prepare and it is not necessary to use frozen products to buy.

La Copita in Düsseldorf is a place I like to come back to again and again. As soon as you walk in you immediately feel at home. The atmosphere is really cozy and the guests are also relaxed - you can just feel that everyone enjoys eating here. I particularly liked the aioli – nice and creamy and perfectly seasoned. The other tapas we ordered were also really good. What I also thought was great: Despite the busy restaurant, our food came to the table really quickly. You can tell that the service here is really well organized. The menu offers a wide selection, there is something for every taste. Whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, everyone is guaranteed to find something that excites them here. What I particularly liked is the relaxed and happy atmosphere in the restaurant. It's just fun to eat and spend time here. I will definitely come back and can really recommend La Copita to anyone who wants delicious food and a relaxed atmosphere in Düsseldorf. A real insider tip!
