It was fantastic! The food was incredibly tasty and authentic. Every dish was fresh and prepared with a lot of love. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which really made the evening enjoyable. We felt completely comfortable and were able to enjoy every moment. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality and service you get there. It was worth every penny. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant - we will definitely come back!

Very nice restaurant. I would say that the restaurant is categorically in the upper midfield when it comes to price. The service is very friendly and everything here is freshly prepared. You can look into the kitchen and you can see the hard work being put into it! Great restaurant!

Authentic Spanish food and delicious Spanish beer. The tapas selection is plentiful and everyone should find something to their liking. The hosts Miguel and his wife + staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Today we can go again spontaneously and during the week it is often possible without a reservation. Like the entire 35 years that we have been guests at M. Alegria with Carmen and Miguel, it is always a pleasure because the food here is fresh and authentic. The effort involved in preparing fresh tapas and dishes is significantly increased and proves that the prices are not cheap, but are reasonable. Since we have an affinity for Spain and like to try out new things here at home, we had a wide variety of culinary experiences in various similar restaurants. And that's exactly why we are loyal to this rustic, cozy "Restaurante" and the positive and absolutely friendly "Familia" to this day, and always look forward to an evening with, for example, a Sopa de pescado, Pulop Gallega, Boquerones fritos, Parrillada de pescado or Cazuela " San Miguel" and natural patatas bravas. Finally, a celebrated brandy. Thank you for the good quality over the decades and that, despite the crazy Corna times, you are still here and offer the same quality and thus make the people in the valley happy...we remain loyal to you.

If you want to enjoy Spanish food, you should go there. A real small, rustic family-run restaurant. Food always tastes great and is very fresh. You will receive a warm welcome. We really enjoy eating there regularly.

We dined there for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised! To begin with, the food is delicious and you can tell that it is homemade, they have red wine and the atmosphere is very familiar. The boy who served us and Miguel, both very friendly. The truth is that it is a little piece of Spain in Wuppertal. We will be back 100%!

Great restaurant that we have known for years and enjoy visiting again and again. The food is great and here the boss serves himself. It's always a little noisy because it's small and narrow, but that's part of the charm. We'll definitely come back.

Es war wie immer sehr lecker in einer angenehmen Atmosphäre

Wir waren zum Weihnachtsessen mit unserer Praxis da. Es war sehr sehr voll, dennoch wurden wir schnell bedient. Der Kellner war höflich und hatte steht's ein Auge auf uns ob etwas fehlt. Selbst extra wünsche würden erfüllt. Und wenn auch kaum was übrig blieb, wurde dies verpackt. Ich hatte einen herrlichen Fischeintopf, und der Fisch war auf dem Punkt! Die Soße würzig und schmackhaft. Sehr gerne wieder!

Es gibt kein besseres spanisches Restaurant

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Restaurant. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und das Essen war sehr gut und reichlich. Besonders die verschiedenen Vorspeisen waren klasse zum probieren. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend bei Ihnen.

Wir gehen schon seit Jahren ins Alegria. Selbst das Buffet für eine Hochzeit haben wir von dort kommen lassen. Warum? Weil es sich im Lokal gemütlich und herzlich anfühlt. Das Essen von toller Qualität, unglaublich lecker und mit liebe gekocht bereit zum geniessen ist. Weil wir uns dort einfach wohl fühlen.

Genauso gut und legendär wie schon Mitte der neunziger Jahre, als ich hier schon gerne gegessen habe. Das Essen war genial, die Mitarbeiter/innen super freundlich, die Einrichtung sehr gemütlich und es war auch dank Reservierung ein schöner Platz für uns bereitgehalten. Vielen lieben Dank! Weiter so und wir kommen wieder!!!

Fantastischer Spanier, das Essen hat eine ungewöhnlich hohe Qualität, der Service war höchst professionell und die Preise sehr fair. Alles in allem, ne glatte 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Einzig, die Parkplatzsituation ist unschön, macht euch vor dem Besuch Gedanken wo ihr parkt oder hofft auf ein wenig Glück.

We returned to the Meson Alegria after many years, as we had fond memories of a meal there, and once again we were not disappointed. We had 11 tapas between the 2 of us, that's almost all of them (yes, we were hungry) and they were all excellent. The crema catalana was also delicious. The atmosphere is nice, if the lighting a bit too bright. The price of 2,60 per Tapa is more than adequate, it's a very good deal! 1 point removal due to the service, which was friendly enough but lacked smile (it is the Meson Alegria after all...)
