We made an online reservation and were able to sit outside with five people – there's a lovely covered terrace. We received a very friendly welcome and made it easy for ourselves by letting the staff decide what they could recommend and ordering accordingly. A good decision, as it turned out *****

The food was delicious. The waitress forgot to place our order, but that was resolved nicely. We received sandwiches and a free drink. The paella was truly delicious. The waitress was truly disappointed that she hadn't placed our order. She made up for it with her many apologies and complimentary drinks and sandwiches.

I love it! I can always book, and I can stay as long as I want. I don't have to constantly watch my watch because I only have three hours to spend with my family. I feel very comfortable in this restaurant and with my family! The food is great! Everything tastes delicious!

Delicious food, small but nice menu.

Friendly service, but the food was unfortunately mediocre, with many dishes coming from a deep fryer (or at least that's how they seem), and blandly seasoned. Even the aioli tasted like a convenience store product. We went there yesterday because of the excellent reviews and were disappointed. Dinner still gives me "paws."

Very friendly service. Delicious Spanish beer. The bread arrived warm and fresh, and the aioli tasted like it came from a Metro bucket. We ate a variety of tapas. All pretty run-of-the-mill.

Considering it was only once, and what felt like an eternity ago, I had eaten at a Spanish restaurant, it was very pleasant and good. I had no idea what kind of restaurant it was and stopped by Las Tapas completely spontaneously. The staff was attentive and friendly. After a brief consultation with the waitress, I opted for a mixed plate full of delicacies. Despite having no great experience with Spanish cuisine, the food was very tasty and good for me. I would definitely go back to the restaurant if I ever find myself in Krefeld again.

Very friendly service, short wait times for food, a large selection of tapas dishes, as well as a few main courses/plate dishes. They also serve paella in large pans for several people. In summer, the outdoor area is also worth a visit, even though it faces the street.

We zijn hier 2 x gaan eten, en hadden eerste keer verschillende tapas, en 2 de keer de paella met zeevruchten, alles was erg lekker, vriendelijk personeel, leuke inrichting, goed glas wijn. Je kunt binnen en buiten zitten.

Door de goede reviews hier gaan eten. Leuk binnenterras. Maar de kwaliteit van het eten viel zeer tegen. De calamaris was licht gebakken. Vaak gegeten met krokante knapperige buitenkant maar niet hier. De gehaktballetjes in tomatensaus had veel smaakvoller mogen zijn. De kip was meer gekookt dan gebakken. Kortom wij zijn teleurgesteld en komen nooit meer terug!

It was a long day traveling and I hadn’t eaten in I don’t know how many hours so I was starving. I have been to Krefeld several times and this place is always recommended to me. I finally got here as I was staying at the Krefelder and it was a 5 minute walk. I was politely greeted by not just one but 2 people when I walked in, not in the eager want to make a Euro way, in the nice cordial, I want you to feel comfortable here kind of way with smiles and pleasant voices. I ordered a sangria which was nice, nothing special to be honest but it was refreshing on a hot day. For food I ordered the PIMIENTOS MARINADOS sweet red peppers with garlic and olive oil, it was a full pepper cut into strips, no skin. Tasty. The MARISCADA A LA PLANCHA was amazing. I have had octopus many times but this was the most tender octopus I have ever had, and the salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious with just a touch of fresh squeezed lemon on it. The dish also came with baby clams, muscles, calamari, and 4 prawns. All cooked to perfection and delicious! For desert I had the Santiago Tort an almond cake, dense and packed with flavor topped with caramel and served with a scoop of ice cream. Of course it was awesome too. I want to say 4.5 stars due to a wobbly table with a weird construction that I kept hitting my leg on, I moved my chair and had a better view out the window so we’ll call that even, not anything spectacular for decorations, simple, comfortable, feels like your go to neighborhood spot, and there were a lot of locals coming in and out for drinks, a quick bite, or to pick up food to take home or somewhere else. I would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, a small bite, a delicious dinner, a quick drink, refreshing cocktail, or to satisfy that sweet craving with something a little different. I will be back, probably right after my phone charges a bit more.

The tapas were good... The service was very attentive (sometimes a bit over the top), and the ambiance was nice, despite being on the street, you can sit outside. Finding parking isn't easy.

The food was delicious. Service was unfriendly. Stressful. Overwhelmed. A nice restaurant with good food. But please check the prices first. The prices are massively high for what you get. There's no parking. We had to search the neighborhood for ages.

Based on the good reviews, we booked a table for Mother's Day. Nice little restaurant with an outdoor area. But the food... First, a very modest appetizer platter arrived, including two prawns. When my daughter wanted to eat them, she asked, "What's that black thing?" When I told the waitress that the prawns weren't deveined, the manager came over and told us they didn't have time to devein them (mmm, who doesn't like a little shrimp poop with an appetizer). I then got a skewer of lamb and my wife salmon. I had a choice; some pieces were just tendons, others were just fat, but they were all medium-raw. My wife was luckier; her salmon was only cooked so thoroughly that it created dust when we ate it. But since we weren't asked if it tasted good, we paid after returning our half-full plates and left frustrated. Seriously, people, don't do this to yourself; you can get a good meal elsewhere for that money.

The tapas are of course the highlight in “Las Tapas”. The selection is large and the individual tapas are all very tasty and of good quality. Everything fits really well here. Everything is also right with the wine and the cerveza. Whether it has to be Italian mineral water, I'll leave that to be seen. Spanish would be ok as it goes with Las Tapas. It doesn't have to be Italian; for reasons of CO2 balance, it can also be local mineral water. In terms of price, Las Tapas is at the top end. But the prices are still okay for the quality, ambience and service.

The tapas were typical as expected, very good to the point. Simply delicious. Ambience also typical, simple but identical. Friendly service. Price-performance ratio is appropriate to slightly increased these days. Recommended if you're willing to spend a little more.

We were there for the first and last time. The waitress had to be asked three times to bring us to our place; we (four people) each ordered three different tapas. Unfortunately the meat and fish tapas were cold and therefore too oily. The taste (little spice) but a lot of garlic also left a lot to be desired. In total we only paid over 170.00 for one beer and one espresso each. Unfortunately that is too expensive.

Our visit to Las Tapas was very satisfying in terms of food. Unfortunately, a very large group was put in “our” room. As a result, the atmosphere and service suffered. Since the staff was busy distributing the various amounts of tapas etc. to the group, we had to wait repeatedly to order drinks and other things. Unfortunately, that somewhat diminished the positive experience. However, we are sure that we would be completely satisfied if we visited again (without similar circumstances).

Unfortunately the food wasn't worth the money. Unfortunately the paella was the worst I have ever eaten. Including stomach cramps. Never again 😔

We ate very well here. The paella was really like in Spain (I should know, I live in Spain). We also had a delicious Ribera de Duero wine and the Crema Catalana for dessert. The nice thing was that all the wait staff spoke Spanish. Since it filled up quickly, even though it was the middle of the week, you should reserve well in advance. I will eat there more often. The restaurant is absolutely recommended!

In a group of 8, we treated ourselves to various courses in the evening: starting with appetizers, then tapas, then fish and finally meat. Everything is visually appealing and prepared with excellent quality and taste. A dark, fruity red wine rounded off the evening. We'd love to come back.

If you come in with just a few performances and are then so positively surprised, it's worth 5 stars. Three courses of tapas, from delicious vegetables to top grilled steak, cold beer and super nice and attentive service. Las Tapas is a real experience and if I ever come to Krefeld again, the evening is already planned. Thank you!

Very nice restaurant, super nice team and service. We had different tapas with 5 people, all of them were very tasty and had a nice evening there. The only drawback is that prices are a little higher than at the well-known Spaniard, something that could be adjusted.

Ja, wir wollten einen richtig schönen Abend verbringen und es fing gut an. Freundlicher Empfang, schönes Wetter und draußen sitzen. Bestellung aufgegeben, Wein und Essen kamen zügig und danach nichts mehr, keinen Kontakt mehr, bis wir die Rechnung bestellten. Der Wein, rosé´, war für uns der schlechteste, den wir seit sehr langer Zeit getrunken haben, aber unsere Fehlentscheidung. Die Tapas, tja, da kennen wir andere Restaurants; bis auf die Sardellenfiles, an denen man nichts verkehrt machen kann und die Kartoffeln, war alles für uns eine Enttäuschung. Es sollte ein schöner Abend werden, es wurde ein teurer Abend, wenn wir die Qualität des Essens/Weins hinzu ziehen, ein sehr teurer Abend. Dice Bewertung mit "mangelhaft" ist NICHT korrekt, aber befriedigend wäre auch falsch, es müßte hier ein "Ausreichend" stehen. Schade, für einen verlorenen Abend, an dem ich meiner Frau eine Freude machen wollte. Einstimmig sind wir der Ansicht, dieses Restaurant "nie" wieder zu betreten, obwohl das Wort "nie" nicht zu unserer üblichen Sprache gehört

I was there once with my family. Everything was beautiful. The paella tasted very good. We were very satisfied.

I had a fl. Water, the salad with calamari, the omelet with potatoes and onions, shrimps with chili and garlic, although there wasn't a bit of chili in it, and the pickled peppers. All in all, the food was okay, except for what I thought was an exorbitant price. At over €60/person you shouldn't leave hungry! What I didn't like at all was the: "If I don't come today, I'll come tomorrow" attitude of the staff! Well, the terrace was full, but I still had the feeling of being left alone. You can expect more for the prices!

I've been to Las Tapas several times and have always been very satisfied. However, the last two times it wasn't suitable in terms of friendliness and service. The waiter threw our plates on the table and served us in an unfriendly manner... That made you immediately feel uncomfortable as a customer. The young waiters... The girl and the young man made up for it again. But with a waiter like that, you think about going somewhere else to eat.

I came back here after a few years remembering good food and great service. I was offered a Tapas set with prosciutto ham, cheese, meatball in sauce, fried fish, squid, 2 shrimps, and a salad that took up 1/3 of the plate. Strange combination. After ordering, the waitress offered me a baguette (5 slices) with garlic sauce, for which I had to pay €4.6. Unfortunately, I won't come back here because neither the service nor the quality of the food stood the test of time. I won't be fooled a second time

We arrived yesterday evening, July 5th, 2024, shortly before the quarter-finals 🇩🇪 vs 🇪🇸 with nine people. Apart from the end result, we had a great evening 😂 The food & service were great, plus delicious San Miguel 🍺 fresh from the tap - wonderful 😊👍

We were there with quite a few people (>35). If each of us had ordered individually, I think it would have ended in chaos. So it was suggested to us that something from the house be put together for us. To put it briefly: really good. There was absolutely nothing that wasn't delicious. The evening was rounded off by a very attentive and very nice crew. At this point: Thank you. 😃

Very good dishes but too expensive

We were at Las Tapas last night. Overall, I thought the evening was a success. The tapas served were very tasty, but the portions were quite meager. There were sometimes very long breaks between rounds, which was probably due to the fact that we were guests there with around 25 people and the restaurant was also well attended. I found the service to be very nice and friendly. The drinks supply ran like clockwork. Thanks again to the hosts for their patience regarding the “final round”.

Nice Spanish restaurant with good cuisine and some traditional dishes, including tapas. You can sit inside or outside. The service is friendly, but the kitchen isn't the fastest. It's easy to go, but you shouldn't expect speed, especially when it's crowded.

Always good. The two of us came on Monday evening after an event and were warmly welcomed even at 9 p.m. We had the hearty bean stew and were very satisfied.

We had a nice sit outside. I've been here several times before, but I remember it tasting better. In addition, portions are becoming smaller and prices are rising. Very unfortunate. Due to the fact that I was still hungry after 3 tapas, I will choose another place next time.

We ate there and it was pretty overpriced. The food didn't have any spices and it wasn't really warm either.

The portions are outrageously small for this price. In the end I thought about what else I could eat at home! Unfortunately, this put me in a bad mood. Las Tapas doesn't see me anymore. Price performance and portion size don't match at all. Absolutely overpriced for bread and mushrooms from the supermarket. The “mushrooms with garlic” were only a handful from the preserving jar and a dash of ready sauce. The bread with garlic was also from the supermarket, poorly toasted, no taste and a dash of sauce. Absolutely not recommended to pay such prices for poor quality here...

I have always been very satisfied here and enjoyed coming here. But service has declined, portions are getting smaller and prices are getting higher. The relationship is no longer correct. I think the cuisine tastes good, but you only get full with dessert or an appetizer. We sat comfortably inside.

All in all not recommended. The tortilla was quite bland, as was the aioli with the potatoes, the portion size wasn't great either and for €7.50 per tapas. But the 3 small lukewarm meatballs in cold tomato sauce were absolutely cheeky and that for €8.70! The service staff wasn't the fastest either, considering the restaurant was hardly busy. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't work for me here.

We were here at short notice on New Year's Eve, which is why we sat in the winter garden. The service was a bit forgetful, but that was probably due to the long year. Had paella - super tasty. The wine was tasty! gladly again!
