The XL schnitzels are absolutely amazing. The girls who run it are so welcoming. Despite the stress, they're always so friendly. The restaurant itself isn't that attractive to me with all the colors, but what the owner has done with it is impressive. We're truly devastated that the Iglu won't be there in this configuration next season. We'll miss the girls very much. - the Friday Schnitzel Gang 😏

We then chose three dishes… gnocchi with cheese sauce, my husband a meat dish with spaetzli and I ravioli. All three dishes were excellent and prepared with love. It has various German wine. I chose a red wine that I didn't really like. I then asked... The boss was so nice and understanding and simply brought me another wine... You don't find many restaurant operators anymore who are so nice and hospitable and also so nice to the children... If we are in the area we will come back.

We were there at lunchtime and had the Käpsele (lentils with spaetzle and string sausages). The lentils were really good – nice and creamy and well seasoned. Plus delicious cooked spaetzle, which rounded the whole thing off wonderfully. The string sausages also went well with it. The portion was generous, so I even had it for a second meal. Added to this is the rustic atmosphere, which makes the visit very pleasant. Definitely a recommended choice!

Nice here. But have you ever been to Wildbach? It is said that the long eel that once slithered wildly in the stream has moved unknown. The parcel could therefore not be sent. This beer hall on the Aal River in Aalen is the last possible place to find him. The long eel is said to have been a skilled beer and spirits connoisseur par excellence. A real drinking machine from the hose. He even made the great Charlemagne look old. What a shame for his sole rule. Is it possible that the long eel remained in Aalen and is now slithering in the eel? I ask for quick feedback, after all we don't want the long eel to emigrate to Aalbania into an eel clothing collection container. PS: By the way, a good beer hall.

Traditional Swabian cuisine. The cheese spaetzle was down-to-earth/good and so was the salad.
