Weinstube Killesberg in Stuttgart

I recently visited Weinstube Killesberg, and I was truly impressed by both the atmosphere and the quality of the food. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. The menu offered a great variety of options, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious – beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and excellent service.

We had on Saturday November 16th. reserved for around 20 people after our Stuttgart 21 tunnel tour and the dishes were also agreed upon in advance. Despite the delay due to technical reasons, we were warmly welcomed and looked after. Salad, spaetzle and roast came to the table for us in large bowls - everything was delicious, and a very personal and family atmosphere quickly emerged. A lovely sociable evening, the journey was worth it. We'd love to come back.

45 minutes before closing time, half restaurant empty, was not possible to order a small portion of food for 2 small kids because with a “big table “ of 20 people they had no time, definitely not family and kids friendly.

We had traveled to Stuttgart in the evening and wanted to go out for something to eat. The reviews and the pictures appealed to us and we set off, unfortunately we were very disappointed here. Whenever I travel to Stuttgart and order Maultaschen I get frozen Maultaschen from the microwave... Likewise, the sauerkraut with the roast pork was cold and had an extreme hint of cinnamon. When we came into the restaurant we had to wait until we were served because we weren't even noticed. Other guests were told that it was actually already closed and half of the food wasn't available. Somehow the concept is not coherent and somehow has little to do with Stuttgart and the region. In addition, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. Frozen Maultaschen for 14 euros... Very sad.

Supposedly it opens at 12pm. There is also a sign at the entrance that says open from 12 p.m.... We were there at 4 p.m. And we were sent away since you are now still preparing. We could come back in an hour. When asked why it says 12 o'clock on their website, there was no answer. Very unfortunate

My favorite place for lunch or dinner with my family. The Polo al Limone was very delicious and the white wine went perfectly with it! The boss is very nice, as are all the staff, who work quickly and professionally. Top!

Nice restaurant with good food.

We have been here a few times and have always been pleasantly surprised! Excellent cuisine with good wine. The menu is always manageable, so every dish is a hit.

The boss served us very friendly, even though everything took a little longer. When the weather is good, you can sit beautifully in the middle of the countryside and the dining room is also comfortably furnished with wood. BUT unfortunately the food didn't convince us and there is still room for improvement. Why should you go to a restaurant where the spaetzle, the potato salad and the cake are ready-made products? The portion of Maultaschen with potato salad was either too small or too expensive for 14 euros. The roast pork lacked spices and there was almost no sauce, so I ate the ready-made spaetzle dry. It's a real shame that it was a culinary flop.

Arrived at a busy time, but the wait was less than 20min. Very good beer and delicious food. The proprietor was patient with my poor German and spoke good English. Hoping to return there. BTW, Google Maps directions tried to send us to a private property nearby. We ended up parking on Stresemannstraße.

We were happy to be guests in this house at the 2024 Festival of Lights. Home-style cuisine, friendly service, a somewhat older restaurant in a very nice environment.

We ordered goat cheese, mut, honey and thyme on bread as a starter. For the main course we had roast pork with spaetzle, and as a side dish there was a coleslaw. What can I say, if we lived closer, we would love to eat there again. The meat was tender as butter and the spaetzle was just as delicious. Ok, the sauce could have been a little thicker for my taste. But that's complaining at a high level. We can only recommend it! Unfortunately, given the great taste, I didn't manage to take any pictures of the roast and the spaetzle. There was also a carafe of wine and two coffees. With a little tip, we ended up with 65 euros for two people

We ate lentils and spaetzle there, which compared to another customer's review were really very tasty! The service staff was also personable and friendly. However, we had to wait a really long time for our food and unfortunately the portion sizes were rather manageable. Therefore, despite the great ambience, only three stars.

I am a regular customer here with my girlfriend, family and friends …….The interior is spacious and cozy and the outdoor sitting provides a very nice view of the lovely killesberg park……..the food and drinks has good variety and was scrumptious ……the owner was super nice and attending …..and the service staff was very affectionate, friendly delivery good service. Must recommended

Were the only guests. The service was nice and friendly. Only the lentils and spaetzle, no sauce at all on the lentils and not thickened and not seasoned. The pure lentil taste. Mustard on the plate. It doesn't work at all.

Beautiful surroundings with flowers from the Killesberg in the immediate vicinity. Very friendly and kind treatment of the guests. Very good Swabian-style food. However, there are somewhat small tables outside for three people, otherwise highly recommended.

The perfect place to enjoy the beautiful weather, nature, good mood and warming, tasty recipes. The friendly and jovial service is a huge plus.

We were at the Swabian wine bar for a family celebration. Very warm host, who was very flexible in preparation and implementation and gave us very good suggestions. The day in the wine bar was a success, the food was great, a nice selection of drinks and everything was reasonably priced. Certainly something to stop off after a trip to Killesbergpark. I can highly recommend!

We celebrated our little civil wedding here, we didn't regret it one bit and had a really great meal! The boss and his team made it possible for us to have a wonderful celebration. Always happy to come here.

Excellent food and very friendly boss. We were there on Whit Monday and the wine bar looks like an oasis in the usually crowded Killesberg Park

The food itself was okay, but the portions were very high for the price. The hospitality was bad. Orders were forgotten several times and things were delivered very late. We were also advised as a group to have a food buffet where a few items were served for the whole table and these were to be refilled as needed. But they weren't and it was very difficult to find the waitress to express this wish. The price charged for this offer was clearly too high and could not be justified by the beautiful location of the restaurant.

Always a nice atmosphere and great service.

It started out a bit strange: we were handed the card, only to be immediately told that there was actually nothing left. That was still ok. perhaps the innkeeper was surprised by good weather and an unexpected rush. Can happen. When it was said that the melted onions for the Maultaschen were out, the suspicion arose that they simply didn't want it. Since when does a kitchen order onions by the piece? These Maultaschen were dry and only lukewarm. As a replacement, gray potato gratin without cheese and tomato salad were brought (now they are). We had to pay another €11 for this. The innkeeper was not prepared to make any concessions with the bill, even though we really didn't feel we were well entertained. Well, that's it, we won't go there again. Hospitality is different.

Apparently new tenants since my last visit. I was very pleasantly surprised and had a great evening. The map is small but very nice. There was "Nutella red with butter"!!! I've never read that on any card before!!! World class dessert!!! The service was very friendly and cheerful. The advice on the menu was very good and I really liked the willingness to serve something unusual. The offer to serve the dishes on platters and bowls if several of the same orders were placed was a great idea. The dishes served looked great and were all very tasty! The pricing is very pleasant. Plus the great location of the restaurant. The beer garden there is highly recommended for great weather conditions. And when the weather is bad, the space in the restaurant is also very nice. ...and then the Nutella bread... Lovely again! Thank you very much

Nicely located, only when we came to eat at 6 p.m. there was nothing left. Although it's open until 10 p.m. Then we just left again

We have been there several times as a family, with 2 small children - and also as a group - and have always been very satisfied. There were already high chairs prepared and cutlery on the table for the children. The food is very good and we didn't have to wait long

We needed to organize a lunch for 15 people, the chef did everything for us in the best possible way. Calm atmosphere, everything that the chef prepared for us was at the highest level, the pork was simply gorgeous, the soup was so tasty that some of us ate two servings with pleasure, although the portions were very generous, the strudel was simply magnificent, excellent service, a very kind chef, we are very grateful to him and recommend this place. By the way, the boss speaks 8 languages

After detailed advice from the boss, we ate extremely well. The French-Belgian dishes were also very generous. The quality of the food is worth the trip to the Swabian wine tavern. We are looking forward to the warm season, when you can also eat on the large terrace in the evenings. We will be back!

In the middle of a beautiful park, enjoy delicious wines, feast on good Swabian food and, if it shines, soak up the sun. Is there anything more beautiful.

Friendly staff, all of our food was phenomenal.

The ambience would actually be great, as would the location. However, it is really incomprehensible that it takes 20 minutes for drinks to be taken (we and two ladies were the only guests)! Then the drinks were brought to the table one by one... Many dishes are missing from the menu and dishes are served incompletely (vegetable side dishes are missing) and when asked it was explained that there was too much going on and therefore impossible to serve the dishes in full?!?!? At this point 3 tables were occupied, no beer garden or anything else. And it was already 1 p.m. I'll accept an excuse like that at 11:30 a.m. when the store opens or when it's in full operation. We didn't receive any discount either. So unfortunately we won't be coming anymore...

Had Maultaschen and Gaisburger March. Both tip top and the service was extremely friendly. We were pleasantly surprised.

We regularly go to the wine bar for lunch or dinner and enjoy these short breaks in the park. The food is good and the waitresses are very friendly. Therefore a clear recommendation Addendum 01/30/24: the positive rating was for the previous operators. We were there regularly. Now we avoid this restaurant. Once and never again.

I'm actually very tolerant and really understand that everyone has to earn money to live, and that tastes differ. But when I and two children each order a portion of spaetzle with sauce - it's too much for the host to pour the sauce into a small container - the sauce is more like a broth and he then collects 14 euros - then I find that really outrageous. We will certainly no longer visit there, no matter how hungry the children are. Maybe we are also unwanted clients with children.

Went to the wine bar on a cold Sunday afternoon. A great discovery, it was our first time here. Food was absolutely delicious. Had the cheese spaetzle and lentils. The service was totally courteous and warm, especially with our 3-year-old son. We will definitely visit the wine bar again on our next visit to the Killesberg.

Cozy wine bar. Wine recommendation very tasty, Stuttgart wines. Boss very nice and attentive. Food rather simple and average. To me it tasted like convenience products.

The Tafelspitz was very good 👍 and the service and price were also good. I can only recommend.

Nice, cozy wine bar, Swabian classics, and things that you can't get anywhere else: cheese from the oven, French homemade terrine with quince chutney and chestnuts, the menu changes constantly, wishes are taken into account, good Stuttgart wines are served openly, very fair prices, Make a reservation on the weekend, a little hidden in the park, beautiful in the snow.

Food was great (the Coq au Vin was awesome), the atmosphere was inviting and a wonderful host. We will be back! And then feel free to try the Maultaschen too 😊

Wenn man denn die Weinstube mal findet ein wunderschönes Fleckchen mit einer Herrlichen Sonnenterrasse Richtung Süden und Park gelegen👍😄❗ Habe nur einen Zwiebelkuchen und einen neuen Wein gehabt zum "Nachtisch" dann wegen dem herrlichen Wetter noch ein Weizen Bier, es war alles sehr lecker und preislich noch im Rahmen, ging schnell und der Kellner war freundlich 😋❗ Das nächste Mal werde ich das Essen testen, die Portionen der Nachbartische sahen gut aus⁉️ Für mich ein neues super schönes Ausflugsziel, sehr zu empfehlen😄👍❗

Super delicious Swabian food in the Weinstube Killesberg

Schöne Location, leider schlecht bewirtschaftet. Service langsam, unaufmerksam und ganz offensichtlich nicht vom Fach. Andere Gäste sind einfach gegangen nachdem nicht mal die verfügbaren Gerichte erklärt werden konnten. Speisen qualitativ unterdurchschnittlich und für den Preis eine Frechheit. Das Lokal wirkt wie ein Hobby ohne Leidenschaft. Traurig!

Die Lage der Weinstube ist wunderschön, die Terrasse einladend, wie auch der Gastraum. Die Karte bietet neben schwäbischen Gerichten nicht alltägliche Spezialitäten aus Frankreich zu fairen Preisen. Man schmeckt, dass hier gekonnt handwerklich gearbeitet wird. Die Desserts lassen keine Wünsche offen und die selbstgemachten Limonaden haben Suchtpotential. Die Weine sind exzellent ausgewählt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und aufmerksam bedient und können das Lokal in jeder Hinsicht empfehlen.

Casual dining in a cosy country’s style home. Fine Wine and draft beer and very good food. Coq au vin and beef in red wine are wonderful, and French chocolate cream homemade. Love it! Reasonable pricing and a very friendly exotic service. We had a lot of fun that evening and thx to the owner and cook an exciting choice of local and French wine too.

Bratwurst war eine rote Wurst und Zitronenkuchen hat 5 € gekostet,ich denke das sagt alles.

Nahe dem Tiergehege im Park versteckt gelegene ländliche Weinstube mit wunderschöner Terrasse. Essen ist hervorragend, Pollo fino al Limone ein Gedicht, und die Mousse au chocolat reine cremige dunkle Schokolade. Es gibt aber auch schwäbische Klassiker. Wir waren als kleine Gruppe angemeldet und bekamen alles auf Omas Altem Geschirr Platten und Schüsseln serviert, das hatten wir noch nie und wer sehr schön. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Preise ok.

Für die hohen Preise hatten wir einfach deutlich anderes Essen und Qualität erwartet. Kleine Portionen, trockene Industriespätzle aus der Tüte und bei den Lendchen mit Pfifferlingen gab es ganze 5 kleine Pilze, die fast kalt 10min später als der Rest des Essens kamen und das für 25€.

Ich war jetzt zum dritten Mal dort essen und war immer sehr zufrieden. Der Betreiber und das Personal sind sehr freundlich, setzen Sonderwünsche um und man merkt, dass mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird. Mir wurde kurzerhand ein wenig vom frischen Schweinebraten zum probieren gebracht, was mich davon überzeugt hat, mit meiner Bestellung noch einmal um zu schwenken, was ich in keinster Weise bereut habe – sehr, sehr lecker :)

Questo ristorante è semplicemente fantastico. La posizione è magica, nel mezzo del grande parco di Stoccarda. Si respira un'atmosfera d'altri tempi. La cucina è familiare ma al tempo stesso raffinata, con materie prime di alta qualità. I piatti di carne sono particolarmente gustosi, ma abbiamo anche mangiato un ottimo taboulé con verdure. Un discorso a parte meritano i dolci, tutti rigorosamente fatti in casa, squisiti. Ottima la scelta dei vini. Insomma, il luogo ideale per trascorrere qualche ora nella pace del parco, mangiando piatti gustosi e genuini.

Leute...unterirdisch. Die Speisekarte im Internet gibts gar nicht. Ein kleines Stück Fleischkäse mit Kartoffelsalat kostet 10E. Die Bedienung beantwortet alle Fragen ihrerseits gleich selbst....brauchen Sie Salz...nein ist genug gewürzt. Wir haben die Gespräche an zwei Nebentischen mit verfolgt...wenn es nicht so ärgerlich wäre könnte man sich totlachen. Also wir nie wieder

Besser Deutsch lernen. Umgang mit Gästen mangelhaft. Lieber schreiben lernen und nicht malen. Essen kam zu spät und es war ein Haar daran.

Vor zwei Jahren (2021): Sehr schöne Location, sehr freundlich und herzlich, lecker gegessen. Alles Top und immer wieder gern. ....letztes Jahr, wie zuvor. .... jetzt neuer Betreiber: Alter Charm, "exotische" herzliche Bedienung, gutes bürgerliches Essen....und es "endbeschleunigt" noch etwas mehr.

So ein nettes Lokal, in dem man draußen sehr schön sitzen kann und im Grünen isst. Sehr leckere schwäbische Gerichte. Bedienung und Chef wahnsinnig freundlich. Volle Empfehlung!

Schöne Location, essen schmeckt gut. Leider lange Wartezeiten. Die Kellnerin war super nett. Der Chef kocht selbst. Leider dauert es sehr lange, da der Chef die Essensbestellung aufnimmt und gleichzeitig kocht und Kartenzahlungen tätigen muss. Trotzdem zu empfehlen wenn man Zeit hat.

Lecker und gemütlich, der Service ist freundlich - die Portionen könnten etwas größer sein! Viel Erfolg für den Neustart nach der derzeitigen Renovierung! War jetzt erneut dort nach der Wiedereröffnung und erneut einem neuen Betreiber - alles war prima beim ersten Besuch - beim zweiten Besuch ( schönes Wetter! ) herrschte Chaos, da Personal fehlt! Draußen war nur minimal bestuhlt bei Temperaturen über 20 Grad und Sonne. Die Wartezeit war sehr lang! Wir hoffen, dass unser Rat beherzigt wird - mehr Personal eingestellt, mehr bestuhlt wird und die Portionen wieder auf die ursprüngliche Größe erhöht werden. Die Location hat es unbedingt verdient und würde auch 5 Sterne bekommen - es hapert noch erheblich an der Umsetzung - zumindest bei gutem Wetter und am Wochenende

Schwäbische Weinstube, die Spaß macht. Freundliche Bedienung - ausgezeichnetes Essen - gute Tropfen sowohl Bier als auch Wein. Und nur 10 Minuten zur U-Bahn

Urige, gemütliche Stube mit leckerem Wein und schwäbischen Speisen. Das Wild wird selbst erlegt. Alles ist familiär und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

A really nice and genuine place in a very beautiful area of Stuttgart. The food is really good and the owners are very nice.

Der Biergarten ist nett gestaltet und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Leider war das Essen absolut nicht empfehlenswert, das Schnitzel mit Pommes war eine sehr kleine Portion aber geschmacklich okay. Wirklich enttäuschend waren die Käsespätzle. Gekaufte, dicke Spätzle, die nichts mit schwäbischen Spätzle zu tun haben, dazu fad schmeckender Käse und wenig Zwiebeln.

Unglaubliche Gastfreundschaft welche ich hier erleben durfte. Trotz geschlossener Gesellschaft wurden wir hier bedient. Es wurde sich fantastisch um uns gekümmert. Das Essen war spitze, besonders die Maultaschensuppe war fantastisch. Die Wildspezialitäten sind hervorragend.

Wir waren diesen Sommer wiederholt hier zum Mittag- oder Abendessen, auch mit freunden. IMMER waren alle mit Service, Qualität und Menge des Gewählten sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Super Ambiente, freundliche und zügige Bedienung auch wenn es ziemlich belebt war. Essen war super. Rostbraten wie er sein muss und handgemachte Spätzle. Nicht aus dem Wasserbad sondern frisch angeröstet aus der Pfanne. MMMMhhh... Zum Nachtisch eine Kombination aus warm-kalt, süß-sauer. Der Waldbeerenbecher ist ein Muss zum Dessert. Gerne wieder und vor allem unter der Woche einen Ausflug in den Park wert, der am Wochenende schon recht gut besucht ist. Da die Weinstube etwas abseits liegt, bekommt man auf der sonnigen Terrasse davon zwar nicht viel mit, aber unter der Woche findet man um den Park herum einfacher einen Parkplatz.

Ich wollte eine Reservierung per Internet vornehmen. Eine Empfangsbestätigung habe ich erhalten, mit dem Hinweis: Eine Bestätigung ihrer Reservierung erhalten Sie in einer separaten E-Mail. Wir werden uns Zeitnah bei Ihnen melden. Eine Bestätigung oder eine Antwort habe ich jedoch nicht erhalten. In der Weinstube Vorort habe ich einen Tisch erhalten. Die Bedienung hat uns am Tisch gebeten, die Impfbescheinigung vorzulegen. Nach 20 Minuten ist die Bedienung wieder gekommen und hat die Impfbescheinigungen angesehen. Wir wollten die Remstalforelle bestellen. Die Bedienung hat uns mitgeteilt, dass es die Remstalformelle und zwei weitere Speisen von der Karte nicht gibt. Nachdem wir diese Erfahrung bereits bei früheren Besuchen gemacht haben, haben wir von der Bestellung eines Essens abgesehen. Nachdem wir die Getränke bezahlt hatten, haben wir uns ein anderes Lokal zum Essen gesucht und auch gefunden. Das Geschäftsmodel – Bedienung am Tisch und die Auswahl der Speisen a la Speisekarte – funktioniert in der Weinstube am Killesberg in der Regel nicht, insbesondere bei großem Besucherandrang nicht. Es wäre vielleicht besser auf Selbstbedingung und Reduzierung auf gängige Speisen – wie Schnitzel mit Pommes Frites – umzustellen.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend in der neu eröffneten Weinstube. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service war super freundlich. Man sitzt wirklich nett direkt im schönen Killesberger Höhenpark. Wir werden bald wieder kommen.
