Sehr guter Service :) Freundlichster Chef und Aperol für 4€. Wir kommen jedes Jahr Lichterfest immer wieder mit Vorfreude auf den Aperol

Ich wollte heute mit meiner kleinen Tochter hier essen. Die Terrasse ist nicht sehr einladend, die Tische haben weder Decke noch Deko - aber es war ja auch noch früh. Im Internet versprach eine Kinderkarte, betitelt mit "Für unsere wichtigsten Gäste" leckere Kindergerichte; auch der Anschlag "Nutella-Brot" begeisterte meine Tochter. In der uns ausgehändigten Speisekarte fehlte dann aber beides. Ich fragte, ob ich für meine Tochter einfach eine Portion Spätzle ohne alles bekommen könnte. Die Kellnerin sagte nein, denn es gäbe keine Beilagen. Ich wies sie auf die Spätzle in der Karte hin, die mit Linsen und Wurst angeboten wurden - offenbar gibt es Beilagen. Daher fragte sie in der Küche nach, ob es möglich sei. Ihr Chef sagte ihr aber, es gäbe keine Kindergerichte und man kann die Gerichte nur so bestellen, wie sie in der Karte stehen. Sie wies dann auch direkt darauf hin, dass Reste nicht mitgenommen werden könnten. Für meine 4 jährige Tochter ein Erwachsenengericht für 16€ bestellen, damit sie eine Hand voll Spätzle isst und der Rest im Müll landet? So viel Unflexibilität und Kinderunfreundlichkeit habe ich ehrlich gesagt noch nie erlebt. Daher sind wir gegangen ohne etwas zu essen. Schade!

Ein herrlicher Platz um den Alltag hinter sich zu lassen, das Essen der besonderen Art und passender Getränkeenpfehlungen bieten geschmacksexplosionen die einem das Gefühl von einem stimmigen Erlebnis verschaffen. Die Preise sind solide, ehrlich human für alle Schichten ein willkommener Platz der Erholung.

Man sitzt sehr schön dort... Das Essen fand ich nicht so besonders, aber es war ok. Obwohl nicht viel los war, mussten wir lange warten...

Wir durften im Rahmen einer geschlossenen Veranstaltung Service, Atmosphäre und Speisen genießen.

Wir waren heute dort essen. Das Personal war freundlich und der Geschmack der Speisen war aus meiner Sicht in Ordnung. Allerdings mussten wir etwa 20–25 Minuten auf das Essen warten. Die Portionen empfanden wir persönlich im Verhältnis zum Preis als sehr klein. Für uns hat das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis daher leider nicht gepasst, und wir sind nach dem Besuch noch hungrig gewesen. Wer großen Wert auf sättigende Portionen legt, sollte das bei der Auswahl des Restaurants berücksichtigen.

Wirklich schöne Weinstube in ruhiger Umgebung, mit sehr freundlichem und witzigem Personal. Die Gnocchi mit Gorgonzola Soße haben erstklassig geschmeckt.

Okay, in Deutschland isst man früh. Aber das ist trotzdem unfassbar! Das ist das erste Wort, das mir in den Sinn kommt. Es ist Anfang Mai, Samstag, 19:30 Uhr, ein wunderschöner Tag, den wir in einem typischen, hochgelobten Restaurant ausklingen lassen wollen, wo wir ein leckeres Essen erwarten. Wir kommen an und erfahren, dass die Küche geschlossen ist, weil wir hätten reservieren müssen. Das ist einfach nicht zu verstehen. Normalerweise vergebe ich keine so niedrigen Bewertungen, ohne das Restaurant selbst besucht zu haben. Aber in diesem Fall musste ich einfach darauf hinweisen. Leider können wir das sehr verlockende Menü in dem schönen Ambiente nicht genießen. Ich bitte den Restaurantbesitzer aufrichtig um Entschuldigung.

Es hat alles gepasst, freundlicher Service, Essen war gut, gute Weinauswahl! Hier gibt es in der Tat ein Crossover der schwäbischen und französischen Küche. Besuch lohnt unbedingt!

Schöne Terrasse und gemütliches Restaurant. Leckeres saisonales Menü! Die Empfehlungen des Chefs sind super! Liebes und lustiges Team! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen! Der Chef gibt sich viel Mühe und das schmeckt man!

Bei aller Liebe das fühlt sich jedes Mal an als würde ich meine Familie besuchen. Das essen ist keine Sterne Küche aber ist mindestens genauso viel wert. Es ist simple ehrliche deutsche Basic Küche. Ich hatte bei Sonnenschein ein wunderbares belgisches Bier und 3 Gerichte zum Teilen :) Wie fühlt es sich an : „Ratatouille Moment“ Menu ausgewogen, Personal auch sehr freundlich und der Chef ist jemand mit dem man privat sehr gerne Zeit verbringen würde. Wenn man sich einen richtig guten ehrlichen netten Menschen vorstellt mit passenden intellektuellen Humor und ner Georg Maßen Brille dann erwartet euch genau das. Ich war überall auf der Welt essen aber dieser Platz hat irgendwas in mir verändert.

Da gibt es noch einen Gastronomen aus vollem Herzen! Super 👍, komme sehr gerne wieder.

Zum Einkehren nach einem Killesbergbesuch empfohlen. Reservierung ratsam. Kleine Karte, aber guter Wein und gutes Bier.

Nettes Restaurant im Killesbergpark. Wir haben bisher jeden unserer Besuche dort genossen. Das Essen ist fantastisch. Der Service ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und herzlich.

MAMMA MIA!!! 😍 Wir hatten etwas Mühe, das Restaurant zu finden, aber es hat sich gelohnt. Wenn ihr in Stuttgart seid und richtig gut essen wollt, vor allem traditionelle Gerichte, ist dieses kleine Restaurant ein absolutes Muss. Valter ist ein super Typ, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt, der Service war tadellos.

We visited the Weinstube am Killesberg for the first time yesterday and were very pleased. A small menu with delicious dishes, including some French classics. A lovely discovery that we'll be visiting more often.

Very unfriendly, almost rude staff. I wanted to look around the restaurant and was asked to leave!

Absolutely fantastic ambiance—you wouldn't even notice you're in a big city. The service was also very friendly. The food selection was okay. The spaetzle was outstanding. We had lentils with spaetzle and sausages, Maultaschen (ravioli) with potato salad, and Pollo a Limone (a type of chicken). We would have cooked it differently at home, but all in all, it was okay. The drink prices are quite high.

We had a lovely evening with pleasant hosts, delicious food, and good drinks. We'll definitely be back.

While searching for a suitable location for our civil wedding, we discovered the Weinstube Killesberg – and we immediately felt: It was a perfect fit for us. But what followed exceeded all our expectations. From the first contact to the big day, everything was simply fantastic. The communication was clear and cordial, and the rehearsal dinner was a real highlight. On the day of our wedding, things got even better: The service – absolutely top-notch. The food – simply outstanding! Some of our guests, who had traveled a long way, even said they would come back just for the food. The feedback was unanimous: "Wow, excellent!" We felt completely at home from the very first moment – ​​and so did all our guests. We would especially like to highlight the service team: The girls were incredibly attentive, warm, and always there at the right time – without being intrusive. A special highlight was the spontaneous midnight snack: It started around 6 p.m., and shortly after midnight, some guests expressed their appetite for more. Although this wasn't originally planned, the kitchen, in consultation with us, conjured up something truly amazing – quickly, creatively, and incredibly delicious. The flexibility and warmth were simply remarkable. We would like to thank the entire team from the bottom of our hearts – for their attention to detail, the excellent service, the fantastic food, and for making our day so very special. The food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. The wines were also good. The service was friendly and attentive. The menu is rather small but varied.

Un pequeño restaurante que sirve comida local de Stuttgart y alemana. Tenía la ensalada de patatas y mi esposa tenía el cerdo que se recomendó. No nos decepcionó. Buen ambiente y el servicio es muy amable. Siempre nos gusta comer comida local mientras estamos fuera y esto es exactamente lo que nos gusta. Vale la pena un viaje si estás en Stuttgart.

A gem and insider tip at the beginning of Killesberg Park. Reservations are essential.

Wir feierten meinen runden Geburtstag mit Familie und Freund*innen (36 Personen) beginnend ab 16.00 Uhr mit einem Empfang (diverse Aperitifs und leckeres Fingerfood) bei schönem Wetter draußen. Abendessen ab 18.30 Uhr in der Weinstube an schön gedeckten Tischen . Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, flink und außerordentlich freundlich. Das Essen war für Vegetarier und Fleischesser geplant und sehr gut im Geschmack. Einziges Manko: aufgrund der kleinen Küche konnten nicht alle Speisen gleichzeitig serviert werden, so dass manche Beilagen bereits wieder abgekühlt waren, bis die Hauptspeise (Lammkeule: extrem zart und lecker) auf dem Tisch stand. Nachschub kam aber dann ausreichend und schnell. Auch die ( gewünschten) Weine aus dem französischen Perigord waren ausgezeichnet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die entspannte und schöne Atmosphäre, die der Chef und sein Team ihren Gästen bieten. Auch die Beratung im Vorfeld für das Fest war sehr gut!

Here, in the positive, less is more is appropriate…. When we saw the small menu we were a bit shocked at first. There were three of us... me, my husband and my 5 year old daughter. We then chose three dishes… gnocchi with cheese sauce, my husband a meat dish with spaetzli and I ravioli. All three dishes were excellent and prepared with love. It has various German wine. I chose a red wine that I didn't really like. I then asked... The boss was so nice and understanding and simply brought me another wine... You don't find many restaurant operators anymore who are so nice and hospitable and also so nice to the children... If we are in the area we will come back.

Die Location ist angenehm. Sauber und gemütlich. Angenehme Musik und man kann gut sitzen und sich unterhalten, ohne dass man die Unterhaltung der Tischnachbarn stört oder hört. Dafür würde ich einen Punkt geben. Doch wegen des Essens muss ich ihn wieder abziehen. Doch das Essen ist FURCHTBAR!!! Und überteuert!!! Wir waren zu zweit da. Mein Sohn und ich. Zur Vorspeise hatten wir gemeinsam eine "Käseplatte" für 10 Euro. Das waren ein paar Scheiben von einer Hartkäsesorte, noch mit Rinde, ein paar Walnüsse und eine unreife Erdbeere. Dazu gab es eine große, dicke Scheibe Brot. Das Brot war wirklich gut, daher ein Punkt. Als Hauptmenü hatten wir "Boeuf en Daube". Das war Rindfleischragout mit vereinzelt Pilzstücken (womöglich aus der Dose) mit Soße (ganz sicher aus Fertigpulver), ein paar Löffel Erbsen mit Möhrchen (definitiv aus der Dose) und Spätzle (nicht selbstgemacht, sondern ganz sicher aus Trockenware mit viel Mehl und nur einer Spur Ei). Als Deko und einzigem Lichtblick ein winziger Zweig Thymian. Pro Person 25 Euro für das Hauptmenü. Mit Getränken (ein Kirschsaftschorle, mehr Wasser als Kirschsaft und ein Bier) zahlten wir 70 Euro. Ich gab fünf Euro Trinkgeld, weil die Bedienung zum einen sehr freundlich war- ein Punkt hierfür - und zum anderen nichts für die minderwertige Küche kann. Vor dem Bestellen fragte ich die Bedienung (eine sehr junge Frau um die 20 Jahre), ob die Spätzle selbstgemacht sind. Sie hatte keine Ahnung! Ich habe mehr als die Hälfte des Essens nicht gegessen, weil es nur nach dieser Fertigsoße schmeckte. Da hat auch frisch gemahlener Pfeffer nicht geholfen... Mein Teller ging also fast voll zurück. Das ist normalerweise gar nicht mein Stil, Essen zu verschwenden. Und eigentlich war ich sehr hungrig, denn ich hatte morgens um 6 Uhr nur eine Tomate und einen Reiscräcker gegessen und bis wir beim Restaurant waren, war es fast 16 Uhr. Mein Sohn wollte nicht, dass ich etwas sage. Doch als die Bedienung zum Abräumen und Kassieren kam, fragte sie freundlich, ob alles recht war. Ich konnte nicht lügen. Also zuckte ich mit den Schultern und sagte: "Die Bedienung war nett." Wenn das Essen gut wäre, hätte ich nichts dagegen, 25 Euro pro Menü zu zahlen. Schade: Super Lage, schönes Ambiente, auch das Personal scheint sich gut zu versstehen, was für eine gute Atmosphäre sorgt. Das wird alles leider unnötig kaputt gemacht durch das minderwertige Essen. Wir gehen nie wieder zum Essen hin...

We had a family celebration with 15 adults and 4 children and made reservations in advance. The telephone coordination went smoothly and for the sake of simplicity we decided on a menu. It was a good mix of recommendations and wishes. There was also a delicious solution for vegetarians that wasn't on the menu: very fine cauliflower with pomegranate and parsnip cream. In the end, we had a completely successful family afternoon with a spontaneous start with drinks on the terrace, delicious salad as a starter (topping off with the orange and fennel salad) and French food in several large bowls to take yourself - almost like at home. :) There is plenty of dessert to choose from. The service was very attentive and everyone always had enough to drink. The children were also allowed to spread out onto other tables as long as there was enough space. Of course, it's also great with children that you have the meadow to the park right on the terrace and the large playground can be reached in 3 minutes. We even had a view of the terrace and were able to let the little ones pick daisies outside and still have an eye on him. There are no parking spaces directly on site, but you are right in Killesbergpark and can take a nice walk.

I actually don't like writing a review, but for the second time, because I gave a 1 star review without a comment, I received a complaint from the restaurant via Google for "defamation" which would delete my review unless I actively objected. So now with a comment! : We were in the restaurant as a large group. Right from the start there were difficulties with ordering; not everyone could order something themselves, but the whole table had to order a few dishes together. Although we weren't actually happy with it, we accepted it because we had already taken a seat and walked a long way to the restaurant. A price was not stated at all, everyone could always ask for a second helping as soon as their plate was empty so that “everyone is full” (the boss's words) and at the end they are billed. Our shared plate of Maultaschen was then empty and suddenly it was said that there were no more Maultaschen, then again it would take some time until some came and finally there were no more. So four people ate from a plate of Maultaschen (two small Maultaschen each), which almost certainly came from the freezer. Finally, the bill: You are simply billed per person. Everyone pays €15 for the meal including (to be very generous) the water (tap water in carafes) which was at least refilled. Then there are the spritzers and co. that were ordered and everyone pays additionally. The four of us paid around €20 for two small Maultaschen and a spritzer. I'm looking forward to a response from the restaurant, but please don't say "if you had said something you would have let them talk to you"... My review is almost two years old and apparently it's still on my mind that I probably get a complaint every year now... Best regards.

We had our team meeting dinner in the wine bar. There was extremely good Swabian tapas to eat. Served by a very courteous service person. Definitely worth recommending

I recently visited Weinstube Killesberg, and I was truly impressed by both the atmosphere and the quality of the food. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. The menu offered a great variety of options, and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious – beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and excellent service.

We had on Saturday November 16th. reserved for around 20 people after our Stuttgart 21 tunnel tour and the dishes were also agreed upon in advance. Despite the delay due to technical reasons, we were warmly welcomed and looked after. Salad, spaetzle and roast came to the table for us in large bowls - everything was delicious, and a very personal and family atmosphere quickly emerged. A lovely sociable evening, the journey was worth it. We'd love to come back.

45 minutes before closing time, half restaurant empty, was not possible to order a small portion of food for 2 small kids because with a “big table “ of 20 people they had no time, definitely not family and kids friendly.

We had traveled to Stuttgart in the evening and wanted to go out for something to eat. The reviews and the pictures appealed to us and we set off, unfortunately we were very disappointed here. Whenever I travel to Stuttgart and order Maultaschen I get frozen Maultaschen from the microwave... Likewise, the sauerkraut with the roast pork was cold and had an extreme hint of cinnamon. When we came into the restaurant we had to wait until we were served because we weren't even noticed. Other guests were told that it was actually already closed and half of the food wasn't available. Somehow the concept is not coherent and somehow has little to do with Stuttgart and the region. In addition, the price-performance ratio is not right here at all. Frozen Maultaschen for 14 euros... Very sad.

Supposedly it opens at 12pm. There is also a sign at the entrance that says open from 12 p.m.... We were there at 4 p.m. And we were sent away since you are now still preparing. We could come back in an hour. When asked why it says 12 o'clock on their website, there was no answer. Very unfortunate

My favorite place for lunch or dinner with my family. The Polo al Limone was very delicious and the white wine went perfectly with it! The boss is very nice, as are all the staff, who work quickly and professionally. Top!

Nice restaurant with good food.

We have been here a few times and have always been pleasantly surprised! Excellent cuisine with good wine. The menu is always manageable, so every dish is a hit.

The boss served us very friendly, even though everything took a little longer. When the weather is good, you can sit beautifully in the middle of the countryside and the dining room is also comfortably furnished with wood. BUT unfortunately the food didn't convince us and there is still room for improvement. Why should you go to a restaurant where the spaetzle, the potato salad and the cake are ready-made products? The portion of Maultaschen with potato salad was either too small or too expensive for 14 euros. The roast pork lacked spices and there was almost no sauce, so I ate the ready-made spaetzle dry. It's a real shame that it was a culinary flop.

Arrived at a busy time, but the wait was less than 20min. Very good beer and delicious food. The proprietor was patient with my poor German and spoke good English. Hoping to return there. BTW, Google Maps directions tried to send us to a private property nearby. We ended up parking on Stresemannstraße.

We were happy to be guests in this house at the 2024 Festival of Lights. Home-style cuisine, friendly service, a somewhat older restaurant in a very nice environment.

We ordered goat cheese, mut, honey and thyme on bread as a starter. For the main course we had roast pork with spaetzle, and as a side dish there was a coleslaw. What can I say, if we lived closer, we would love to eat there again. The meat was tender as butter and the spaetzle was just as delicious. Ok, the sauce could have been a little thicker for my taste. But that's complaining at a high level. We can only recommend it! Unfortunately, given the great taste, I didn't manage to take any pictures of the roast and the spaetzle. There was also a carafe of wine and two coffees. With a little tip, we ended up with 65 euros for two people

I am a regular customer here with my girlfriend, family and friends …….The interior is spacious and cozy and the outdoor sitting provides a very nice view of the lovely killesberg park……..the food and drinks has good variety and was scrumptious ……the owner was super nice and attending …..and the service staff was very affectionate, friendly delivery good service. Must recommended

We ate lentils and spaetzle there, which compared to another customer's review were really very tasty! The service staff was also personable and friendly. However, we had to wait a really long time for our food and unfortunately the portion sizes were rather manageable. Therefore, despite the great ambience, only three stars.

Beautiful surroundings with flowers from the Killesberg in the immediate vicinity. Very friendly and kind treatment of the guests. Very good Swabian-style food. However, there are somewhat small tables outside for three people, otherwise highly recommended.

We were at the Swabian wine bar for a family celebration. Very warm host, who was very flexible in preparation and implementation and gave us very good suggestions. The day in the wine bar was a success, the food was great, a nice selection of drinks and everything was reasonably priced. Certainly something to stop off after a trip to Killesbergpark. I can highly recommend!

We celebrated our little civil wedding here, we didn't regret it one bit and had a really great meal! The boss and his team made it possible for us to have a wonderful celebration. Always happy to come here.

Excellent food and very friendly boss. We were there on Whit Monday and the wine bar looks like an oasis in the usually crowded Killesberg Park

The food itself was okay, but the portions were very high for the price. The hospitality was bad. Orders were forgotten several times and things were delivered very late. We were also advised as a group to have a food buffet where a few items were served for the whole table and these were to be refilled as needed. But they weren't and it was very difficult to find the waitress to express this wish. The price charged for this offer was clearly too high and could not be justified by the beautiful location of the restaurant.

It started out a bit strange: we were handed the card, only to be immediately told that there was actually nothing left. That was still ok. perhaps the innkeeper was surprised by good weather and an unexpected rush. Can happen. When it was said that the melted onions for the Maultaschen were out, the suspicion arose that they simply didn't want it. Since when does a kitchen order onions by the piece? These Maultaschen were dry and only lukewarm. As a replacement, gray potato gratin without cheese and tomato salad were brought (now they are). We had to pay another €11 for this. The innkeeper was not prepared to make any concessions with the bill, even though we really didn't feel we were well entertained. Well, that's it, we won't go there again. Hospitality is different.

Apparently new tenants since my last visit. I was very pleasantly surprised and had a great evening. The map is small but very nice. There was "Nutella red with butter"!!! I've never read that on any card before!!! World class dessert!!! The service was very friendly and cheerful. The advice on the menu was very good and I really liked the willingness to serve something unusual. The offer to serve the dishes on platters and bowls if several of the same orders were placed was a great idea. The dishes served looked great and were all very tasty! The pricing is very pleasant. Plus the great location of the restaurant. The beer garden there is highly recommended for great weather conditions. And when the weather is bad, the space in the restaurant is also very nice. ...and then the Nutella bread... Lovely again! Thank you very much

We have been there several times as a family, with 2 small children - and also as a group - and have always been very satisfied. There were already high chairs prepared and cutlery on the table for the children. The food is very good and we didn't have to wait long

We needed to organize a lunch for 15 people, the chef did everything for us in the best possible way. Calm atmosphere, everything that the chef prepared for us was at the highest level, the pork was simply gorgeous, the soup was so tasty that some of us ate two servings with pleasure, although the portions were very generous, the strudel was simply magnificent, excellent service, a very kind chef, we are very grateful to him and recommend this place. By the way, the boss speaks 8 languages

After detailed advice from the boss, we ate extremely well. The French-Belgian dishes were also very generous. The quality of the food is worth the trip to the Swabian wine tavern. We are looking forward to the warm season, when you can also eat on the large terrace in the evenings. We will be back!

The ambience would actually be great, as would the location. However, it is really incomprehensible that it takes 20 minutes for drinks to be taken (we and two ladies were the only guests)! Then the drinks were brought to the table one by one... Many dishes are missing from the menu and dishes are served incompletely (vegetable side dishes are missing) and when asked it was explained that there was too much going on and therefore impossible to serve the dishes in full?!?!? At this point 3 tables were occupied, no beer garden or anything else. And it was already 1 p.m. I'll accept an excuse like that at 11:30 a.m. when the store opens or when it's in full operation. We didn't receive any discount either. So unfortunately we won't be coming anymore...

Had Maultaschen and Gaisburger March. Both tip top and the service was extremely friendly. We were pleasantly surprised.

We regularly go to the wine bar for lunch or dinner and enjoy these short breaks in the park. The food is good and the waitresses are very friendly. Therefore a clear recommendation Addendum 01/30/24: the positive rating was for the previous operators. We were there regularly. Now we avoid this restaurant. Once and never again.

I'm actually very tolerant and really understand that everyone has to earn money to live, and that tastes differ. But when I and two children each order a portion of spaetzle with sauce - it's too much for the host to pour the sauce into a small container - the sauce is more like a broth and he then collects 14 euros - then I find that really outrageous. We will certainly no longer visit there, no matter how hungry the children are. Maybe we are also unwanted clients with children.

Went to the wine bar on a cold Sunday afternoon. A great discovery, it was our first time here. Food was absolutely delicious. Had the cheese spaetzle and lentils. The service was totally courteous and warm, especially with our 3-year-old son. We will definitely visit the wine bar again on our next visit to the Killesberg.

Cozy wine bar. Wine recommendation very tasty, Stuttgart wines. Boss very nice and attentive. Food rather simple and average. To me it tasted like convenience products.

The Tafelspitz was very good 👍 and the service and price were also good. I can only recommend.
