Taverna Yol in Stuttgart

The wrong place to have breakfast on Sundays! Despite making a reservation and calling several times, our table was not prepared for the desired number. The buffet is poor in terms of selection and quality! Only the freshly prepared Gözleme makes the whole thing look like a Turkish breakfast! Also far too loud because there are far too many people in far too small a space! Something is always unavailable. It's no fun! You're just annoyed because the staff can't keep up with anything. Pure disappointment!

Very tasty brunch, but chaotic organization. Despite a reservation and a note that we had a stroller with us, they couldn't assign us a table. We were initially sent to a table that is not stroller friendly at all. Then it turned out that other guests were directed to the same table. The tables are overbooked and you have to expect a longer wait to get to your table. Therefore, it's best to come to the first slot, as you'll probably have better luck. Good food, but with so much misorganization/overbooking it's no use. Too bad!

After we booked for eight people with strollers, we were told on the phone that everything was fine. When we got there on Sunday, the store was completely overcrowded and the waitress said we should leave the stroller outside because it didn't seem to be inside. We were then seated at the tables where you are pretty low to the ground. And for the slightly older generation it is of course not so easy, especially for the knees. The shop has very tasty food, but that was an absolute no-go if you got a confirmation over the phone. But if the store itself is complete chaos, you don't have to worry about it again.

We had great expectations for this restaurant and reserved a table for six people a week in advance for the second round of brunch from 11:30 a.m. Unfortunately, our experience was anything but satisfactory. When we arrived on time, we had to wait outside for over fifteen minutes and watch as other guests who arrived after us were seated ahead of us - despite our reservation. There was total chaos, no clear organization and no apology from the staff. It was completely crowded and loud inside. There was no trace of a relaxed brunch atmosphere where you could chat in peace. It was only when we thanked them and said that we no longer wanted the table that we were suddenly taken seriously - but by then we had long since lost our desire for brunch. Very disappointing!

Habe dort meistens den Sonntagsbrunch genießen können. Bei der Reichhaltigkeit von dem Angebot ist immer sehr viel Auswahl vorhanden und wird immer wieder frisch aufgefüllt. Wanted to have brunch at Yol with my partner for her birthday. We made reservations for 11:30. 40 minutes later, after queuing for a long time in the cold (there was a line of people in front of us who were like us), we got into the restaurant. Unfortunately, most of the items had already been eaten. When we asked what that was supposed to mean, we just said we can't throw out the people who are already sitting. But you can't accept a reservation for 20 people if you can't make sure there's enough space and enough buffet food. It's a shame you can ruin your good name that way.

We were there for brunch, we waited a long time despite a reservation, loud, disorganized. Twice we had to ask for cutlery, no one asked for drinks, and food wasn't refilled after 12 o'clock, there were only leftovers from the first brunch, really very disappointed for the money you paid. We are from Wertheim am Main, we found the Yol tavern on Instagram, the video looked very tempting, from what we saw on Insta, we joined 8 people to try the breakfast buffet and so we went to Stuttgart We drove to get to know the Taverne Yol Restaurant and we didn't regret it for a minute, it was as described in the video, the breakfast buffet was well laid out, let's say everything your heart could desire, man a wonderful Branch day in an excellent restaurant: from the service to the selection of various Turkish breakfast dishes - the Taverne Yol Restaurant totally deserves its awards! Full marks from me – we are really looking forward to our next visit.

The selection is very poor! Little warm food. For dessert there were only 3 pieces of baklava and marble cake. And that cost me €28 with a glass of 0.2 liter orange juice! I think it's very overpriced for the performance. There are definitely several better places and, above all, cheaper ones. There's also the eternal search for a parking space! That was my first and last time!!!

First of all, the service staff tried hard but couldn't compensate for what came from the kitchen. Unfortunately the food arrived cold even though we were the first in the restaurant. The quality of the food and the side dishes do not match a Turkish dish. Unfortunately the meat dishes weren't cooked through either. We had to send one or two pieces back. Our dishes came with a salad included. We only got the salad when we asked, after the main course was ready. In our opinion the kitchen was overwhelmed. I've never seen lemon being served with yogurt soup either. The rooms were not sufficiently heated. At the end we drank black tea, which was served in large glasses. That wouldn't have been so bad if the tea had at least tasted good. Overall the service was friendly, but the restaurant is not recommended.

We were there around 11:45 a.m. and were unfortunately very disappointed. The selection at the buffet was extremely limited and carelessly presented. The bread was cold and dry, obviously from the day before. The fried rings (Pisi) were also cold, presented at the buffet without any dips, neither sweet nor salty. The scrambled eggs with sucuk was particularly disappointing. There was hardly anything left and when it was refilled, all that came was scrambled eggs without sucuk. The cheese and sausage selection was minimal, and the sausages available were served cold and with ketchup. Overall, the worst buffet we have experienced in Stuttgart so far - there are far better Turkish buffets. The drinks we ordered weren't good either (cappuccino, latte macchiato). The ambience is appealing and appropriate for Turkish cuisine, and the lady who freshly prepared the Gözleme was nice. But even these were cold and couldn't save the overall impression. Conclusion: We definitely won't be coming back.

Food was freshly prepared and delicious, some almost empty at 11.30, some lukewarm, some cold! The ambience was nice, but the tables were very close together. It was too loud for some. Service: was ok. We had to wait a long time to order drinks, probably because the restaurant was so full. Receipt of our juice spritzer order was misleading, so we had to exchange after testing. When paying at the checkout, everyone in front of me was assumed to have drinks open. I found that to be inappropriate. The reaction to this criticism was polite and understandable - therefore positive!!!

Visited for Sunday brunch, I was absolutely thrilled by the large selection - everything was beautifully presented and tasted in the top league. A small negative touch was that the dessert buffet was emptied relatively early. Although it was refilled, the tiramisu I loved so much was unfortunately no longer available.

At the Sunday Brunch there is a huge selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, the food is delicious, fresh and really authentic. There are warm and cold dishes, some with meat. The staff is incredibly helpful. Nice atmosphere, the location is easily accessible with Ubahn. The price for brunch is definitely worth it! Delicious desserts are included.

I was here for a Sunday brunch. It was full of white people, so that's not a good sign. The weather was nice so I sat outside - a nice breeze went through, and it was quite relaxing, even though the Stadtbahn goes right in front of the building. All the plates provided have chips. I tried to find one in the stack without a chip, but gave up after 10. The food was overall very mediocre. The menemen was watery, the sucuk stone cold, the potatoes and fritters dripping with grease and not crispy at all. Some of the dishes seemed like pranks on almans - canned button mushrooms in commercial grade mayonnaise? Sure. The station providing fresh flatbreads was nice, but the filled flatbreads were underfilled and not flavorful. The other bread provided was quite old. The rice pudding tasted strongly of condensed milk. Since the buffet provided yogurt, but no bowls (!), I tried to keep the pudding bowl, but a waiter took it away despite my best efforts, mumbling something under his breath. Not a great look. The desserts were commercial grade, bought in, cheap crud. Nothing you don't also get at a cheap Chinese buffet. Even the baklava tasted neither of nuts nor any other floral flavors. It was like it was soaked in simple syrup instead of orange syrup. Overall, this was an enormous letdown. Fine - but certainly not worth the money.

Anyone who wants to sell something like that to their customers simply doesn't feel like offering an experience anymore. I wouldn't even eat my order if it was offered to me for free. Regarding the service, I would like to say that it wasn't really friendly either. The ambience/decor was the best thing about the store.

SIMPLY DELICIOUS I recently went to Taverna Yol for a Sunday break on the recommendation of friends. It was a culinary experience, Turkish cuisine with cold and warm delicacies, prepared in the original way, like in Turkey. Nothing was left to be desired. Since I often ate with my Turkish classmates at home during my childhood, it brought back many childhood memories. Now I like to come over during the week too. Thank you very much!

The service on site and at the table was super friendly, accommodating, attentive to the point where it couldn't be any more. That has become rare in Stuttgart, it has become rare anyway. Family friendly, not too loud inside. A dream. Toilets: super clean, hygienic and nothing is missing. The prices are moderate and completely appropriate for the effort involved in preparing and the quality of the food. Lets go! But it's best to take public transport, as parking spaces are difficult to find here.

Ein gutes Restaurant mit türkischer Küche. Haben die Vorspeisenplatte gehabt und das Adana kebab. War alles ganz gut und lecker. Das Restaurant hat viel Platz auch für viele Personen. Es ist nur leider etwas laut für mein persönliches empfinden und wir haben leider sehr lange aufs Essen und Getränke warten müssen. Werde jedoch nochmal kommen, da das Essen gut war.

Das Essen könnte durchaus etwas mehr Würze vertragen, ansonsten alles Tip-top wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Brunch ist nochmal deutlich besser als die á la Carte Auswahl. Vielen Dank <3 wir kommen künftig öfter.

Der gemischte Vorspeisenteller wird mit frischem und leckeren Brot serviert und ist sehr zu empfehlen. Als Desert hat uns die türkische Süßspeise Künefe begeistert. Wir empfehlen dazu den Mokka und schöne Gespräche zum verweilen.

Gehobene türkische Küche. Unser Fleisch beim Abendmenü war sehr zart. Auch der All you can eat Sonntagsbrunch lohnt sich. Hier gibt es eine große Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten. Es ist sicherer einen Platz zu reservieren!
