Bierhalle Aalen in Aalen

Das beste Schnitzel, das ich nach ein paar Tagen auf meiner Deutschlandreise gegessen habe. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen, alles wird mit viel Können und Liebe zubereitet.

Typisches Bierlokal, typische Gerichte, vielleicht etwas abgewandelt, typische Preise. Als Vorspeise wird ein gemischter Salat empfohlen, der nicht schlecht ist, aber man kann ihn auch weglassen. Sie können hingehen.

Sensationeller Zwiebelrostbraten, super Bier und eine sehr nette Bedienung!

Gemütlich im Biergarten gesessen, guter Service und Schnitzel mit Spätzle war sehr lecker 🤗

Sehr empfehlenswert! Das Bier wurde in einem gekühlten Ton Kruk serviert. Das Essen grandios , genau was man sich von deftiger Küche erhofft. Wir kommen wieder. :-)

Ein sehr gutes Lokal, und man kann regionale Gerichte essen. Eines meiner Lieblingsgerichte war Maultschen mit Kartoffelsalat.

Die beste schwäbische Küche die man in der Stadt findet

Die Portion von 2 Bratwürste mit Kartoffelsalat und Soße, war geschmacklich sehr lecker. Doch man möchte satt werden und das war grössentechnisch echt nicht möglich, wenn ich derart saftige Preise habe, sollte ich auch angemessene Portionen dazu liefern. Eine Bewirtung darf auch auf Wiedersehen sagen und nicht einfach den gast stehen lassen. Wirklich nicht sehr erfreulich für den Preis!

Köstliche Käsespätzle, serviert mit einem Salat aus frischen und ebenso leckeren Zutaten. Sogar das alkoholfreie Bier schmeckte hervorragend. Kurz gesagt: Ich war begeistert! Ich komme jederzeit wieder!

Waren bereits das zweite Mal hier essen. Super lecker und sehr freundliches Personal. Aufjedenfall eine Empfehlung wert!

Sehr schön innen und außen, freundlicher Service, sehr leckeres Bier. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker, allerdings waren Roulade und Rotkraut zu kalt. Wer gerne die Biersorten probieren möchte, sollte das Bierbrettl bestellen, da ist das Helle, das Pils, das Weizen und das Dunkle in 0,1L Größe enthalten. Uns hat das Dunkel am Besten geschmeckt, wobei alle Sorten schmeckten. Es ist noch ein Marillenschnaps dabei, den man aber auch abbestellen kann. In der warmen Zeit gibt es Plätze direkt vor dem Haus, die etwas warm sein könnten, und Plätze an der Kirche, die sehr angenehm waren. Allerdings muss man an der Kirche aufmerksam sein, da die Tische vom Nachbar-Café direkt angrenzen, man es aber an den Stühlen erkennen kann.

Sehr guter Wurstsalat mit Schwarzbrot

Kann die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Waren mittags am Schnitzeltag da und mussten über eine Stunde warten. In der Mittagspause kann man das vergessen. Es war nicht mal viel los. Als das Schnitzel ankam, war die Panade durchgeweicht. Habe es zurück gehen lassen, aber das neue war auch nicht besser. Hat geschmeckt, als würde man ein Billigschnitzel in der Mikrowelle warm machen. Die Panade ist einfach abgefallen und war matschig...es kam keine Entschuldigung und kein Erlass.

Tolle Lokation mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre und tollen und super freundlichen Mitarbeitern.

Ich habe die Bierhallen vor etwa 14 Tagen schon einmal besucht und damals ebenfalls einen Tisch reserviert. Da hatten wir allerdings nur Glück, weil eine andere Gruppe nicht erschienen ist. Für heute hatte ich wieder online einen Tisch für 18 Uhr reserviert. Als wir pünktlich ankamen, war erneut kein Tisch für uns eingeplant. Stattdessen sollten wir an einem kleinen Katzentisch direkt neben der Kirche in der prallen Sonne sitzen. Dafür brauche ich ehrlich gesagt keine Reservierung. Das Essen ist wirklich super, daran gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Der Service und die Organisation sind allerdings enttäuschend. Es entsteht der Eindruck, dass man als Nicht-Stammgast eher zweitrangig behandelt wird. Schade, denn das Essen hätte mich zum Wiederkommen bewegt. Nach dieser Erfahrung werde ich das Restaurant aber nicht mehr besuchen.

Tolle Terrasse, gutes Essen und gutes Bier.

Sehr sehr gut gegessen. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Ein Gaumenschmaus. Aktualisierung am 09.08.2022 Auch heute wieder sehr gut gegessen. Die Gerichte sind durchgängig super und die Qualität ist gleichbleibend auf Topniveau. Der Service ist auf Zack, auch wenn das Lokal voll ist. Sehr empfehlenswert. Aktualisierung am 06.06.2026 Heute mit sieben Freunden in der Bierhalle gewesen. Essen war wie immer super. Und jetzt lassen wir hier noch den Abend ausklingen. Nur zu empfehlen.

Ein uriges Lokal mit guten schwäbischen Gerichten und einheimischen Bier. Eine flotte,freundliche und kompetente Bedienung.

Übriges Restaurant mit Terrasse. Habe da den Braumeister Rostbraten gegessen. Der war richtig lecker und eine riesen Portion.

Es ist eine nette kleine Bar. Ich hatte Kaffee und ein Freund ein Bier. Es war gemütlich und ruhig. Der Kellner brachte alles an den Tisch.

Satte 15 Minuten ohne Beachtung der gelangweilten Bedienung gewartet... Schade!

Das Restaurant besticht durch die authentische Atmosphäre des ältesten Wirtshauses in Aalen, das die Tradition von 1686 erfolgreich mit exzellenter Küche verbindet. Besondere Anerkennung verdienen die Thementage wie der „Schnitzel-Freitag“, an dem die Portionen reichlich und das Fleisch perfekt zubereitet sind, während die hausgemachten Rinderrouladen am Samstag ein Paradebeispiel für erstklassiges kulinarisches Handwerk darstellen. Die Speisekarte konzentriert sich auf hochwertige gutbürgerliche Gerichte, und die Bierauswahl, insbesondere das „Altes Sudhaus“ Dunkel, rundet das gastronomische Erlebnis hervorragend ab. Der Service ist professionell, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angesichts des Serviceniveaus sowie der historischen Bedeutung des Hauses äußerst angemessen.

Das gestrige Event in der Bierhalle mit einem 5 Gänge Menü VEGAN war sehr fein! Der Service war spitze, das Essen super lecker. Wir sind aus Ulm angereist. Sollte es in Zukunft mehr vegane Speisen geben, kommen wir gerne öfters Danke für den angenehmen Abend! Und die Getränke (for free) war ein Highlight!

Wirklich 10/10 Maultaschen. Kannte es als Oberfranke vorher nur aus dem Supermarkt. Bier schmeckt auch super.

Ich war letztens hier in der Bierhalle und hatte einen wirklich leckeren Zwiebelrostbraten. Den kann ich wirklich jeder/m empfehlen die/der das gerne isst. Portion war ordentlich, Geschmack wirklich top und von daher waren die 30€ mehr als gerechtfertigt. Sollte ich mal wieder in Aalen sein werde ich wieder hierher kommen und einen Zwiebelrostbraten bestellen. 👍🏻😊

Besuch mit einer größeren Gruppe (ca. 10 Personen, vorab reserviert) – die Organisation hat einwandfrei funktioniert und wir wurden zügig und aufmerksam bedient. Ich hatte einen Burger mit Pommes und eine Cola. Die Speisen waren frisch zubereitet, geschmacklich überzeugend und ordentlich portioniert. Auch aus der Gruppe gab es durchweg positives Feedback, sodass jeder zufrieden war. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der reibungslose Ablauf trotz der Gruppengröße – sowohl Service als auch Küche waren gut eingespielt, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Der Tafelspitz war prima und die richtige Menge.

Wir waren aus Ulm da, um in der Stadthalle, Kokubo zu sehen!!!! Gigantisch!!!!! Und sind auf die Bierhalle aufmerksam geworden!!!! Super Leute,super Essen und sehr freundliche Bedienung!!!! Wenn es uns mal wieder nach Aalen verschlägt dann sind wir auf jeden Fall wieder in der Bierhalle

Beste deutsche Küche und herausragender Service in Aalen. Ich war schon mehrmals ohne Reservierung dort — die Bedienung war stets sehr zuvorkommend und schnell. Preis-Leistung ist im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants in Aalen völlig in Ordnung. Kann das Restaurant jederzeit weiterempfehlen, besonders die Töpfle und das Schnitzel mit Pommes.

Uriges kleines Restaurant. Wohl das älteste Gasthaus Aalens. Deutsche Küche, besonders Maultaschen, Käsespätzle aber auch Schnitzel, Burger, Salate. Freundliche Bedienung, Essen top, Preis - Leistung OK. Mitten in der Innenstadt.

Alles perfekt, lässt sich kaum in Worte fassen. Nur die Geräuschkulisse ist, je nach Gästen, etwas hoch

Delicious food. Excellent service. Prices a bit high, but great for the city center. The restaurant only fits a maximum of 20 people, and you end up sitting with strangers at your table, like we did, but that wasn't a problem for us.

I was delighted with the Bierhalle Aalen. The Spätzle and Maultaschen were delicious and freshly prepared. You can really taste the quality of the Swabian cuisine and the food. A cozy atmosphere and friendly service – I'll definitely be back!

To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the Maultaschen... Very compact, a bit doughy... What a shame! But the service was great, and I would definitely give the beer hall a second chance on my next visit.

We went to the beer hall for lunch on October 10, 2025. Unfortunately, the service wasn't very friendly and we were pretty pressed for time. The food was OK, but the sausages were unfortunately very dry. I was charged €15 for sausages with potato salad. A very small portion, by the way. When I asked why they were so expensive, I was told that they were from the butcher and, after all, it was homemade potato salad. I actually expected that. Later, I looked at the prices online again and the sausages were listed on the menu for €13. So, for me, they were extra expensive for some reason. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed.

What a beautiful, historic and welcoming place! Literally in my top 5 best ever bars visited in the world. Fantastic drinks, great staff & service and the coolest decor you could imagine. Food is delicious and great value too. An absolute must if you’re in Aalen!

Unfortunately, in my opinion, it wasn't as good as I expected. I had reserved a table for my birthday, but we were seated in the middle of the room, right by the door, and the constant back and forth was really annoying. Then other guests were seated at our table 🥴. We left early because it just didn't feel cozy. Probably quite good for an after-work beer, but I really can't recommend it for a cozy meal...

The food and drinks were excellent, the service was friendly and attentive to the guests' needs. They even served sauce as a second helping. That's not a given everywhere. Highly recommended in any case. We were lucky enough to get a table for two despite the many reservations. It's possible that two couples (families) who don't know each other can sit at the same table. A reservation is recommended after 6:00 PM. Keep up the good work, and good luck always 😀

The food was delicious, the service was excellent. The only downside was that there was very little space.

The food is legendary. The steak was cooked to perfection. Even as a trained chef, I was absolutely thrilled. The two waitresses were super friendly, too. The decor is also very cool :)

A beautiful, rustic atmosphere where the history of this former brewery is depicted on the walls in old German script. The food is excellent, with plenty of fresh, homemade ingredients. Compliments to the chef and kitchen staff.

We had Swabian food yesterday. The food was truly excellent – ​​fresh, delicious, and prepared in a typically Swabian style. A big compliment to the kitchen for that! Unfortunately, the service was less than impressive. The staff seemed rather unfriendly and distant, with hardly any smiles and little conversation. Although there was hardly anyone else going on besides us, the atmosphere was unfortunately not pleasant. It's a shame, because from a culinary perspective, it was a truly wonderful visit – with friendlier service, the experience could have been perfect.

Unfortunately, we didn't get to eat because the place was either fully booked or our confirmed reservation via email didn't work out due to a private party... The only available table was outside... They only tried to inform us once by phone... We were told this on site in a less than friendly manner and without any apology. A shame...

A quaint restaurant in a former local brewery. Traditional Swabian-German cuisine. Fair prices. There was nothing to complain about, top-notch! We enjoyed it so much that we ate here three times.

We recently had lunch there. The service was absolutely excellent. They are perfectly prepared for guests with limited time at lunch. The food was beyond excellent, truly fantastic Swabian cuisine. We'll definitely be back.

World's best currywurst! The fries were super crispy and perfectly seasoned (just my taste). They offer two different currywurst flavors; I went for the traditional version with Oberländer sausage. What can I say, I love currywurst! But yours was simply "WOW!" I'll definitely be back with my parents, especially my dad... he loves currywurst just as much as I do 😁. The service is friendly, and the outdoor seating is like a beer garden. There's nothing to complain about.

A homely Swabian restaurant with delicious cuisine. The Swiss sausage salad, the Swabian onion roast (cooked medium-rare, perfect!), and the beer hall pot were all delicious. We snagged the last table outside, and the service was attentive and always helpful – a refill of gravy for the onion roast was brought quickly. The value for money is reasonable for the quality.

We ate there in early July (2025). The price/performance ratio was absolutely fine. The schnitzel, fries, and potato salad were top-notch 👍 We'd go back anytime.

Employees weren't happy, they did just there duty

The food is fabulous. We sat comfortably outside in the small old town. The interior is beautifully quaint. The waitresses were on top of the service and brought the many dishes and drinks quickly and almost simultaneously. It was very nice. And the Maultaschen came with a small salad. The dressing was fantastic.

The schnitzel was very good, and the cheese spaetzle was also highly recommended! Eating outside is also nice.

Inexpensive lunch, even on Saturdays and later than 2 p.m. Very old, antique atmosphere, especially the recessed entrance door with beautiful glazing and the old tables. Effortless “modern” decorative items spoil the effect.

I was there once a year ago and was satisfied. Now I was completely disappointed. At first, as an older gentleman, I was called by the young waitress without being asked. This may be common practice among young people, but it is inappropriate and simply rude to strangers in a bar. Since I was sitting at the same table as other guests, I could hear that things weren't particularly well received there either. The onion roast was ordered medium, but came extremely raw. Unfortunately, the sauce was pretty tasteless, which my neighbors at the table also criticized among themselves about their dish. The salad and the spaetzle were okay. The prices are quite high. A shot costs 7 euros. My onion roast was very expensive for a rustic beer hall. Even if you advertise that everything is bought regionally and specifically, the quality of the preparation and the service have to be right for the price, which is absolutely not the case here. No more recommendation.
