We eat here often. The dishes change from week to week. There is a weekly burger and always fried fish on Fridays. A great team behind the open counter, a real asset to the market. Special requests are always fulfilled. I would also offer a vegi burger. 5 stars because you can eat really well here! Since the service is very good, it can get busy, especially on Fridays. I recommend making a table reservation here. Thanks to Tanja for this great service. I've known Volker behind the counter for ages. Just take a look here!

I've known the Donaustuben since my own childhood and was always fascinated by the little houses and caves. Today we were there as a family and, even without a reservation, were warmly welcomed, served courteously and attentively, and had a wonderful dinner at the Drei-Mäderl-Haus. The service is absolutely top-notch and very child-friendly. The wait was short, and our chosen dishes were very, very tasty. I hope this restaurant stays around for a long time!

I can definitely recommend this restaurant; it's excellent value for money. I had a dish from the daily special with soup, which was well-prepared, and the vegetables were excellent. Very friendly staff.

Restaurant with upscale home-style cuisine. We were in the restaurant for a celebration with 20 people. All friends were very impressed by the very good quality of the food, there was absolutely no reason to complain. Friendly, courteous service. Prices appropriate for the quality, in other words: it was worth the price. Since the house is a listed building, structural changes are hardly or not possible, so a small star deduction because of the toilet facility, which people with disabilities have difficulty accessing. So actually 5 stars minus 1/2 star. Previous reviews that only give 1 star are completely inappropriate. I think I can judge this because my job has allowed me to test hundreds of restaurants and hotels. Addendum May 8, 2025 I can only confirm my review once again, I was there with 9 friends for the AE, a small complaint, which was responded to immediately and generously. Senior portions are quite large, my “Bergische Tapas” were barely manageable. There are many good reasons for further visits👍.

I've really enjoyed eating there so far, just because of the service! Unfortunately, today I was disappointed for the first time. It wasn't possible to pay by card, the portions are getting smaller and smaller, the stupid sayings on the blackboard outside are getting STUPID (unfortunately there isn't a more appropriate term!) and even things that were a small custom like the ouzo after dinner are simply left out or forgotten. For me, this restaurant has always been a little escape from the fast pace of life. Unfortunately, it now feels like you are processed just as quickly as the small portions for which you pay so much money. Very sad.

Good food and a great atmosphere, whether romantic as a couple or as a group.
