The service was unfriendly, asked for a souvlaki skewer instead of lamb, the waitress first had to ask if it was even possible, I thought that was cheeky, then the boss came and said categorically that no, it wasn't possible but another piece of pork, I was shocked by his statement and asked myself who is a guest here? Therefore never again

Absolutely TOP! Great service and great ambience. The food had hardly any waiting time and is incredibly tasty. Be sure to reserve a table, during the week after around 7 p.m. not a single table was free. Staff very accommodating and very friendly. You feel really comfortable there! The food is simply incredibly delicious! Pay at the checkout at the front, the boss opens the door and says goodbye in a very friendly manner, absolutely TOP! We would definitely love to come back!

Nice Greek restaurant in the heart of Wuppertal. Modernly furnished, everything clean and in good condition. Food was delicious.

Very tasty, not too big portions. I had the "Feta me filo kroustas" with a side of bread and for dessert I shared the panna cotta. All highly recommended! The ambience is also very nice, you can look out onto the pedestrian zone from the table.

I have spent many summers in Greece since I was a child and today's spontaneous visit to Ouzeria Nostos completely convinced me! The best thing I've eaten so far outside of Greece. Only had vegetarian dishes and the price-performance ratio was great. Fresh and delicious. Will come back

Modern, bright atmosphere. Good service. Option for improvement: Depending on the frequency of demand for an English-language menu, one could think about developing something like this later and making it available. Oral translations and corresponding apps were required for our foreign guests. Payment on the day of the visit was only possible with an EC card. The system did not accept credit cards. The range of food was varied based on what our group of 9 ordered. The size of the tapas was sufficient. You could easily fill up with 2-3 tapas...and they were tasty.

Greek tapas, a good concept. The restaurant has a nice ambience and the service was very satisfactory. The food overall was delicious, the starter platter for 4 people offered an extensive selection of small dishes, the Trilogia Kreata, on the other hand, was a smaller meat plate (the lamb was great, the other two meat dishes were rather mediocre) - for the price I have Ate better "grill plates" including fries. Speaking of prices: Unfortunately, the prices on the PDF menu on the website are outdated, so when we visited it was significantly more expensive (the starter plate for 4 people was around 8 euros, Trilogia was just under 3 euros).

What a great gem in the streets of Wuppertal! Great, delicious quality food with greek origins, flavours and love. Great variety of both smaller and bigger dishes, warm and cold with fitting sizes. They also offer a lot to choose from for vegetarians and vegans. The owner and workers are attentive and kind and the atmosphere is both relaxing and laidback with stylistic interior and glass walls with dimmed lights. Overall a fantastic place worth visiting.

The food was very tasty but not exactly cheap. The service was very nice. The boss, however, was quite arrogant. When we wanted to pay, he apparently deliberately took his time and chatted with guests outside for 5 minutes, even though the waitress told him right at the beginning. This can be done better. The star deduction expressly does not affect employees.

Das ist nicht der übliche Grieche mit Gyros & Co. Stattdessen gibt es viele (vegatarische) Vorspeisen. Wir haben uns einen großen Vorspeisentelle geteilt, der ganz ausgezeichnet geschmeckt hat. Von der Einrichtung ist es eher etwas cool, aber man sitzt trotzdem nett. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

This is not the usual Greek with gyros & Co. Instead there are many (vegetarian) starters. We shared a large starter plate that tasted excellent. The decor is a bit cool, but it's still a nice place to sit. The staff was very friendly.

A nice, cozy restaurant. Not to be compared with a “normal Greek”. The menu offers many culinary delights. After a brief consultation with the very friendly wait staff, we quickly knew what was what and grabbed it properly. The orders were served quickly and most of them were really tasty. However, I have to complain that a few delicacies (gambas and lamb) were overcooked and therefore not very tasty. I can still recommend this establishment and would be happy to come back again.

Have been there several times because of good tapas. But whatever constitutes a 12% increase, it appears to have been more of a 30% increase in VAT. Not anymore at this price level, thank you.

The food is good. We had around a dozen different meze and a bifteki. Everything was delicious, but the portions were quite small, especially the bifteki was very little for a main course (no fries with it), unfortunately there was far too little bread (only four small slices of baguette for 4 people). The waiter was friendly, but unfortunately very slow - after 15 minutes he came to our table for the first time to take the drink order. Understandable if the place had been full, but there were only 4 tables occupied...

You choose your meal from a large selection of starters, main courses and side dishes and are therefore completely variable with your meal. The price is fair for the quality and worth every euro. You can tell that everything is done with love. The staff is friendly and if you're lucky you'll be served by the boss who is super friendly. We spontaneously reserved a table with some work colleagues during the week and were all very satisfied. Special requests are fulfilled without any problems. We'd love to come back.

Really good food and good place! A little bit expensive compared to the quantities on the plate but it's quite worth it and it might just be due to the overall inflation increasing everywhere... We were in this restaurant for the first time on Saturday, January 20, 2024; a friend had reserved a table there. It was ok, our dog and the 3 of us had enough space. Since my wife eats gluten-free, we asked the waiter whether it would be possible for her to get cucumber slices instead of bread with the dips on offer. The answer was that she would have to ask the boss. He came to the table a little later and we didn't even get a chance to finish asking the question, then at least 5 no's came out of him, it wasn't possible, one cook too few, no time, etc. His tone was something aggro; if it hadn't been an invitation from us, we would certainly have left the location at that moment. So none of us ordered any dips because this person was as flexible as a railway barrier, as I said, the owner himself. The great thing, however, was that 30 minutes later cucumber slices were served at the table behind us. How do you feel about that? I had put my water glass, water bottle and beer glass on the drinks menu when the gentleman came during the meal and fumbled in front of my face to free the menu and place it on the other side of the table, along the aisle. We are polite about him and how important his cards are to him. When paying, he noticed that he could only do so with a card at the front of the counter. When I got there I was very surprised that it was a card device that could also be taken to the table. This way he didn't have to make the trip twice. How sad when an owner behaves like that. This was our first and last time here and we don't want to be treated like this. It was also very difficult to have a conversation because of the volume. Be careful when choosing a restaurant in city centers.

Wir waren am Samstag, 20.01.24 zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant, eine Freundin hatte einen Tisch dort reserviert. Der war ok, unser Hund und wir 3 hatten genug Platz. Da meine Frau glutenfrei isst, stellten wir der Bedienung die Frage, ob es möglich sei, für sie statt Brot Gurkenscheiben zu den angebotenen Dipps zu bekommen. Da müsse sie den Chef fragen, war die Antwort. Dieser kam etwas später an den Tisch und wir kamen gar nicht dazu, die Frage zu Ende zu stellen, da brachen aus ihm mindestens 5 Neins heraus, da ging gar nicht, ein Koch zu wenig, keine Zeit, usw. Sein Ton war sowas von aggro, wäre es keine Einladung unsererseits gewesen, hätten wir sicherlich die Örtlichkeit in diesem Moment wieder verlassen. Somit haben wir alle keine Dipps bestellt, da dieser Mensch so flexibel war, wie eine Bahnschranke, wie gesagt, der Inhaber persönlich. Der Hammer war dann allerdings, dass 30 Minuten später am Tisch hinter uns Gurkenscheiben serviert wurden, wie kommst Du Dir da vor? Ich hatte mein Wasserglas, die Wasserflasche und mein Bierglas auf die Getränkekarte gestellt, da kam der Herr dann während des Essens, fummelte vor meinem Gesicht rum, um die Karte zu befreien und auf die andere Seite des Tisches, am Gang, zu platzieren. Wir höflich von ihm und wie wichtig ihm seine Karten sind. Beim Bezahlen bemerkte er dann, dass das mit Karte nur vorne an der Theke bei ihm gehe. Dort angekommen war ich doch sehr erstaunt, dass es sich um ein Kartengerät handelt, was auch mit an den Tisch genommen werden kann. Er musste so den Weg nicht zweimal machen. Wie traurig, wenn sich ein Inhaber so benimmt. Wir waren hier das erste und das letzte Mal, so möchten wir uns nicht behandeln lassen. Ebenso war eine Unterhaltung aufgrund der Lautstärke nur sehr schwer möglich. Augen auf bei der Restaurantwahl in Innenstädten

A modern Greek, when you stand outside you don't know that it is a Greek restaurant, but as soon as you enter you can smell it, it is a nice place, but not much of a Greek atmosphere, the food was tasty but we did not have giros with your main course, instead you got some slices of pitta, we had a nice meal, but it is not our kind of Greek that we are used to, but it is worth eating there.

However, anyone expecting a classic Greek restaurant with large grilled plates will certainly be disappointed. If you are looking for a special culinary experience, this is the right place for you. But be careful, a reservation is definitely safer, otherwise you might not get in. A negative point, however, is definitely the volume. Sehr nettes Restaurant mit toller Inneneinrichtung. Das Essen war hervorragend, hat sich aber auch im Preis wiedergespiegelt. Trotzdem ist es lohnenswert, wieder dort hinzugehen.

Leider waren die Portionen sehr überschaubar obwohl Beilagen extra dazubestellt wurden sind wir nicht wirklich satt gewesen. Auch Ouzo aufs Haus gab es leider keinen.

Ich habe die OUZERIA NOSTOS auf Empfehlung eines Freundes besucht, während ich in der Stadt war. Er hatte absolut recht. Es ist ein sehr schöner Ort mit ansprechender Athmosphere. Hier spielt man nicht die typische griechische Musik, was eine angenehme Abwechslung darstellt. Die Gerichte sind sehr lecker und zu sehr fairen Preisen angeboten. Alles in allem ein lohnenswertes kulinarisches Erlebnis. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Bei Bestellung einer Vorspeisenplatte sind trotz mehrerer Streichaufschnitte für jeden nur 2 Brotscheiben inklusive. Jede weitere muss bezahlt werden. Für mich, bei einem Gesamtpreis von 20,90 EUR, ein No-Go! Leider ist es auch sehr laut in dem Restaurant, so dass eine Unterhaltung schwerfällt. Deshalb trotz des guten Essens nur 2 Sterne.

Leute, euer Essen schmeckt und ist preislich angemessen für die Qualität. Tut euch selbst einen Gefallen und arbeitet an der Kommunikation mit dem Gast und führt vor allen Dingen Kartenzahlung ein. Wir haben das 21 Jhdt...

Das Restaurant war ein Tipp eines Kollegen. Wir waren von vorne bis hinten begeistert, selten so gut gegessen, alles toll angerichtet und qualitativ wirklich erstklassig. Tipp von mir: Vorher reservieren. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wirklich gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen (jedenfalls nach Münchner Maßstäben) das auch sehr schnell serviert wird. Auf der gemischten vegetarischen Vorspeisenplatte Taramas (Fischrogen). Für mich als nicht-Vegetarier kein Problem; nur blöd, weil ich Taramas extra dazu bestellt hatte. Dann kamen die Hauptspeisen, als wir noch an der Vorspeise aßen. Das geht gar nicht. Auch auf den Hinweis hin, dass wir gerne erst die Vorspeisen zuende essen würden, wurden die Hauptgericht auf den schon vollen Tisch gequetscht. Die Kellner waren unkoordiniert und unaufmerksam. Ich wollte gerne einen typisch griechischen Wein und bekam Merlot. Schade. Die Einrichtung ist modern aber einfallslos. Das stört mich nicht. Leider ist es aber eher laut; es fehlt deutlich an schallschluckenden Elementen im Raum. Dazu unnötig laute Musik, die aber trotzdem gegen die restlichen Geräusche unterging.

Modernes grieschiches Restaurants in Wuppertal der gehobeneren Klasse. Wer hier nach Gyros sucht wird es nicht finden, ist halt wie im Griechenland auch, Gyros gint es da nur in Imbisse.

Hervorragendes Griechisches Lokal, Sich Berge biegende Fleischplatten war gestern! Hier gibt es für jeden Geschmack und in jeder Menge ob kleine Portion (ohne Fischstäbchen Pinocchio oder Kindersteak Räuber Hotzenplotz) für Kinder, Senioren oder Erwachsene; oder grössere Portion alles, was das kulinarische Herz begehrt! Dazu ein modern-gemütliches Ambiente und superfreundliches Personal(kommt auch von Freude (am Dienen!) . Aber das alles wäre nichts, schließlich muss es ja auch noch schmecken! … und in der Tat es schmeckt einfach super! Bespiel: Souvlaki, wie oft habe ich da schon supertrockene Schweine-Fleischstücke am Spieß serviert bekommen, hier: supersaftig, zart und endlecker!!! Am Schluß waren wir sehr zufrieden, satt und mussten nicht die Hälfte einpacken lassen!!! Prima ein eindeutiges Epharisto!!!!

Descent taste (but I wont say its anywhere closely comparable to authentic Greek food). The size of the portion could be increased. I found it too small. Also paying via card would be much more convenient.

Wir sind schon oft in Nostos Ouzeria gewesen, da viele anderen griechischen Restaurants für mich als Vegetarier zu fleischlastig sind. Es gibt sehr viele vegetarische Tapas auf dem Menü und ich habe bisher alles sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich gefunden.
