Cozy shop, food and drinks always excellent. Friendly staff.

Very pleasant atmosphere, plus delicious burgers and fries. My favorite is the Alsatian burger.

Since tastes are known to be different, I can only give 3 stars for the food, because price and quality do not really match, because the size of the dishes compared to the price is quite large

Hello, my partner and I were at your place in the valley a few days ago. I consider it an absolute no-go: paying for a burger, side, and fries within five minutes, and then asking if I enjoyed it. If I want something reheated, I can do it myself at home, and then charge a lot of money. A fresh burger takes longer than five minutes! You won't see us there again!

They brought us churros even though the kitchen was already closed. The vegetarian and vegan options are also delicious.

Every visit is delicious; the drinks are a visual eye-catcher in their own right. We've never been disappointed by the service either. We're always happy to come back. Last time, we had a falafel bowl and the chocolate cake with hot drinks.

I got a table right away without having to wait (5:00 PM). The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I personally find the ambiance very cozy and inviting. The food offers a very good selection with good variations. Whether you're a meat eater, vegetarian, or vegan, everyone will find something to their liking. The food was definitely delicious 👍.

Extremely expensive. Their burgers are nothing special to justify the price on the menu. I paid 23 euros for a burger, fries and a bottle of bottled water.

My very first visit to "Hans im Glück" was in Wuppertal in 2012, and it was incredibly delicious. Since then, I've eaten at the sister restaurants in Düsseldorf and Cologne a few times, although I found the competition better over the last two years. But now I've been won over again, and this time by the Wtaler HiG, of all places!🤗 Together with a friend, we ordered from Velbert, and I was really happy to find out that it's still the same restaurant as it was 13 years ago!😳 The best thing, of course, was that it surprisingly improved my opinion (for a moment, I thought it might have been psychosomatic thinking due to nostalgia, but I doubt it, as picky as I am about food). I usually love the "Wolpetinger," but I ventured out of my comfort zone and gave another Burger a try – extremely delicious! Oh, and the "new" loaded fries were really delicious too (I almost burst)! By the way, the food arrived nice and warm. 😁

Delicious vegan burgers and friendly service.

The selection is good, the food was okay, but honestly, I think it's a bit overpriced for a burger and fries, etc., and it wasn't that tasty, even if you're paying €20 or more. Some of the burgers are overstuffed and overdone. Next time, I'll go to Burger King, pay less, and be happier somehow. But lots of other people like it, and I'm fine with that and respect it, but it's not my thing. Still, 4 stars for everything, the food and atmosphere, and 5 stars for the service.

I really enjoy eating here. It's cozy, the vegan options are plentiful, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, and dogs are welcome. I also love the option to find out the nutritional information for all the dishes on the website and even have your entire meal dried! Great! Always happy to come back.

Bowls are not good at all the salad was not fresh. I have ordered to go. The Champignons tasted like burger meat, like they don't clean properly when cooking. This way you have meat rests when you eat a vegetarian plate. Costs: too much for what the offer. 17 euros for such a bowl is too much expensive for the quality they offer.

Title: “Happy as Hans – or was it the burger?” So I came in as a simple person – hungry, thirsty, skeptical. I walked out a fed unicorn. Hans im Glück in Wuppertal is like a fairytale forest with cocktails and fries. Between the birch trunks and hipster lamps, I got a burger that was so good that for a moment I thought I had invented it myself. The waiter? Friendly like a talking deer in a Disney movie. The vegetarian burger? So delicious that even my inner carnivore briefly had an existential crisis. The cocktails? Fruity, fresh and after the second the table starts to sway. I even briefly considered moving in there - but they didn't have any rooms available, only supplements. Conclusion: Anyone who leaves here hungry has done something wrong - or accidentally bitten into the flower pot. 10 out of 10 fries stars

The burgers were convincing across the board – freshly prepared, excellently flavored and with high-quality ingredients. The ambience in the restaurant is stylish and modern with lovingly designed furnishings that invite you to linger. Even if the seating wasn't quite as comfortable, that hardly dampens the overall positive impression. The food tasted good, the burgers came so quickly after ordering that you had the feeling they were already waiting for someone to take it. I had a burger with mushrooms and the patty was no longer hot and the mushrooms seemed to have been placed cold on the warm meat which reduced the temperature of the meat very quickly.. You felt a bit rushed and couldn't really arrive at all.

The food is okay, as are the prices. But the menu is poorly designed and on non-vegan products, individual ingredients are marked as vegan or vegetarian, which gives the impression that the item is vegan even though it is not. Waiters don't point it out either.

We made an easy online reservation on the same day (Saturday) and were served quickly, friendly and well. Our food was really great (except for one burger that was too well done) and better than in the Hagen branch. The salads are really great, diverse, varied and very filling, even though HiG is certainly known for its burgers. The waiting time for our food was okay - given the many guests - everything was fresh and warm, but at just under €60 for two people it wasn't that cheap either. Nevertheless, we would definitely like to come back!

Absolute favorite for dates or just relaxing afternoons/evenings. The atmosphere is indescribable and cozy with blankets and pillows between numerous tree trunks, sipping a homemade lemonade immediately gives you a holiday feeling. The burger selection is huge with different meat, vegetarian or vegan and different buns, there is the perfect burger for everyone! Everything vegan and vegetarian is marked in a sweet and subtle way and gives a direct overview if you pay attention to it, but doesn't bother you if you don't pay attention to it. Always happy!

What's typical here is that one hand doesn't know what the other is doing. Even friendly staff is of no use. Friday evening shortly after 11 p.m. The question to waitress 1 how long the food will be available: “until midnight”. All right, we'll be back soon. At 11:45 p.m. burgers are served to the next table. Cellars 2: We should please go in and be ready outside. We go in and sit down. Waitress 3: Hey, hello, the kitchen is already closed! What?! I was really pissed off then. It's not possible, you can't say that shortly after 11 p.m. you can order food until midnight then you are asked to come in but then the kitchen is closed even though burgers were just being served at the next table outside. It took me 1 1/2 hours from Cologne to Wuppertal. Then you rely on the statement of cellar 1 and you have taken the A* card because the kitchen is no longer in the mood at 11:45 p.m. and then find something else to eat in Wuppertal. Disaster!

Good and delicious food. The price/performance ratio is also good. Furthermore, the waitresses are usually very friendly and the food is brought quickly. For my personal taste, the seating is not intended for a comfortable and long stay. Unfortunately they are not that comfortable.

Delicious food, but no drinks. Ordered a menu. The variety and variability that determines the individual menu is very good. You can choose bread of your choice for any burger. Also, the filling of the burger can be standard or at your own request. Halls with tables are creatively designed. You have to wait for the order, but it is acceptable on time. Regarding prices - not cheap. I want to come here more often, but the prices do not allow)
