Worst experience in BK, Germany. Ristorante Santo da Mino restaurant 1. owner was very angry and unpleasant when we tried to communicate in English and schooled us: "NOT in America, NO English, only Deutsch in Deutschland!" 2. This restaurant only accepts cash or German bank cards. We had to drive far to get cash from an ATM. 3. We ordered two dishes, but neither was slightly tasty.

Lovely quiet, spacious hotel with big comfy rooms and beds, big bathroom, spotless all over, and a huge hot and cold breakfast buffet. It is at the back of the beautiful tiny village of Beilstein, so nice and peaceful, good parking, restaurant and sauna/gym/bike hire. The family are charming, staff polite. I really cannot fault anything. They have a Medieval banquet at their castle once a week too.

Ms. Milferstädt and Mr. Michels live for what they do. We had a very well-kept room and decided without further ado to let our taste buds be pampered there in the evening. We had three things as a starter, ox cheeks and fried liver and black pudding with fried potatoes as the main course. We haven't eaten something so delicious for a long time. The ox cheeks were so tender that a knife was almost unnecessary. The taste of the liver and black pudding was outstanding. This is still an old craft prepared with love.
