Hidden and enchanted ❤️ If you go through the unspectacular entrance you come to a wonderful courtyard with seating. You really feel like you're in an enchanted place. The interior is very appealing and conceptually well coordinated. The menu changes regularly, is manageable and has high prices. I think the heart of it lies mainly in the individual shrink-wrapped meat cuts, which the guest can choose from at the table if they wish. There were 6 of us and we were warmly welcomed. The food was of very good quality and excellent taste across the board. The medium steak I ordered was medium medium on the inside, unfortunately more through on the edge. Personally, I would have liked flake salt to be served with the steak or already on the table. We wanted to ask, but unfortunately the waiter only came back after everything had been eaten. The way to the toilet is a bit adventurous and leads down a steep staircase into the vaulted cellar.

We stayed here for two nights in June 2024. Beautiful rooms, great location, excellent food, very friendly team. A recommendation.

I don't know the guest rooms, but I know the restaurant business even better. Regardless of whether it's a dinner for two or a larger celebration in the Weinreich: the ambience is great, the food is always excellent, the menu is varied and the entire team is both friendly and professional. We always enjoy coming back.

The wine kingdom is highly recommended. Here the magic is made with a lot of love in the kitchen. Very tasty. The service deserves special mention; we have rarely experienced such an attentive restaurant manager. Perfect and friendly from reception to leaving the beautifully decorated restaurant. We went to WEINreich with a group for the weekend. Everyone really enjoyed it. The rooms were very nice, the location is great in Freinsheim, the food was incredibly tasty - even for breakfast - and the service was absolutely great. We really enjoyed our stay and everyone would like to come back again and were grateful for the time at WEINreich. Highly recommended!

Modern German cuisine, with an eye for details. Service very efficient and very friendly. Nice wine list! The only thing that could still be improved is the acoustics.

Wir waren mit 7 Personen zu unserer Firmenweihnachtsfeier im Weinreich. Empfang und Service wie immer sehr freundlich , aufmerksam und profesionell. Alle Vorspeisen geschmacklich top. Gänsegericht immer ein Highlight. Rumpsteak , Zander und die Rehpflanzerln ausgezeichnet. Der Kaiserschmarren ein Höhepunkt. Gehobene Preise , die bei der Qualität und dem Service angemessen sind. Kommen immer mal wieder gerne.

Nice restaurant with great food and very good service. Here you can taste that everything is cooked with heart. Every dish (from greetings from the kitchen to dessert) elicited an ooh or aah from us followed by “yum”. The service made the evening special for us. Great recommendations, unobtrusive but always there for us at the right time. Thank you very much again for an outstanding evening.

Very tasty dinner on Saturday evening with a table reservation. Very nice reception with cloakroom service. Quick service and prompt wine refills. Unfortunately everything is always a bit under Time pressure. You were really rushed when ordering and drinking. With the classy cuisine and price range, you at least want to choose and enjoy in peace. Otherwise, big compliments to the kitchen.

A wine bar straight out of a picture book. Many restaurants would be happy about the annual awards. The Gault Millau has mentioned the house very positively for years. The quality of the food is correspondingly high. The four-course menu is fairly priced at €47.50 with decent portions. I also have to mention the homemade bread. There are three types of them and are happy to add them later. The wine list is originally structured. The wineries are listed along the wine route from north to south. An excellent selection with interesting plants. In particular, the in-house Rings winery is represented with numerous wines, some of which have not been available in the winery for a long time. The service is ambitious and friendly. Everything seems natural and not artificial. We were the last guests to be able to drink our wine in peace at a late hour, which is not a given after a certain time. At a high level, I only have two criticisms. Even though we were there right at the beginning, the only thing on the menu was a beef roulade. The rest received an equally tasty beef ragout. Very few people probably look at the wine list available on the homepage. I'm always very happy about it and can browse through it intensively. Of course, the timeliness can never be such that all plants are guaranteed to be in stock. But the map from 2015 could be renewed again. Nevertheless, there are all 5 stars because everything was so good that these two points would not justify the deduction. We'll definitely be back! No sooner said than done, we were here again and I can expressly support what I wrote above. Always a special experience with excellent food and an extensive and excellent wine selection. If you are passionate about eating bread, you should definitely take some home with you. We will come back!

Im Rahmen einer Geschäftsreise haben wir eine Nacht im Hote / Restaurant Weinreich gebucht und den gesamten Aufenthalt sehr genossen- angefangen von der liebevoll ausgestattet Suite mit herrlich knarzenden Holboden, über das leckere Frühstück, bishin zum wirklich sehr, sehr guten Abendessen im gemütlichen Restaurant. Nicht vergessen wollen wir den aufmerksamen unf netten Service. Wir kommen wieder !

Schon wieder eine Bewertung von mir - muss sein, da diese genau das Gegenteil meiner Bewertung von gestern im Schlosshotel Kronberg wiedergibt. Als erstes sind die sauberen Weingläser aufgefallen - sollte normal sein, aber gestern war das halt anders. Dazu kommt ein wirklich super netter Service - freundlich, kompetent und zuvorkommend- was will man mehr. Als Vorspeise hatte ich lauwarmes Carpaccio vom Saumagen mit Salat und einer wundervollen Vinaigrette - dazu (kostenfrei 😉 - eine wirklich leckere Brotauswahl). Als Hauptspeise bestellte ich das Rumpsteak (medium-rare und so wurde es auch serviert👍) und dazu diese einmaligen Pommes frittiert im Rinderfett - großes Kino. Das Fleisch war leider etwas sehnig - kann halt passieren. Dazu einen wunderschönen Chardonnay-Weißburgunder von Rings (für 24€ !) Danke an das gesamte Team für den sehr schönen Mittag - bis sehr bald.

Goede bediening, heerlijk eten, prachtige tuin en heerlijke wijn. Speciaal compliment voor de Kaisersmarrn. Beste die ik ooit heb gegeten.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel (Altstadthof) next door and it did not fail us once. We enjoyed three fabulous dinners there last week. Classic Pfalz and other dishes (meat, fish, vegetarian) with a modern twist, including excellent local Weinstrasse wines. Each entree, main course or dessert was delicious, with excellent service, and very affordable considering the quality of the food. You’ll also enjoy the historic village of Freinsheim — a jewel on the Weinstrasse.

This place is slightly fancy, the food is pretty good and the service is exceptionally attentive. We had dinner here in August and preferred to be seated indoors but had to sit outside. It seems that a way in advance reservation is preferred here. The menu has the perfect variety of vegetarian, fish, meat options. The bread is fresh and home made. It offers interpretations of the local food with a bit of a twist. If you feel like something more light and something fancy, this is a good place to go to. I found the place slightly overpriced, especially the simple options. As everywhere in the region the wines options are exceptional. Furnishing and interior are cozy. We loved the place because we had the best waiter ever, who made us feel comfortable outside all though our preferred option was indoor seating.

Very charming courtyard, excellent service, great wine, but the highlight was the food. I started with an asparagus and orange salad, my spouse with chanterelle mushroom soup. The salad was stellar, but for my spouse the soup was as good as the memory of a magical soup from 30+ years ago. She's had many since, but until now none quite equalled that memory. We both opted for lasagna. It was more of a free form thing with white asparagus and cherry tomatoes in a lovely creamy sauce that was dusted with parmesan cheese and run under the broiler. Simple, fresh ingredients put together artistically. I've already recommended to friends. What a lucky find! Whoa, this was in my drafts. It was never submitted. Well, we went back and it was every bit as good this time as well. It was chilly out, so we were inside this time. It is charming inside and out. Lovely place!

We had a very nice meal incl the local dish “Saumagen”. Very tasty and on top great local wines. The restaurant has an amazing local wine selection. Nice atmosphere and good service. Would be happy to come back.

We were a party of seven adults and had a very nice dinner, sitting outside in a secluded patio. The wine list has a very good selection of quality local wines . The steak, served with grilled asparagus was cooked to perfection. Generally Palatinate food can be very rich but this restaurant offers local food with just a bit more finesse.

The menue is limited to local and X-over dishes, the food is cooked with love and great flavours, some dishes were a bit over seasoned, but only a tiny bit. The service was second to none, wine recommendations too. Besides: nicely furnished with great courtyard to sit outside We will be back

They offer wonderful creative menus and the execution of the food is worthy of Michelin stars. The wines are mainly local, but well chosen. We all loved our meal here.

I had lunch here with my parents, wife and children. Very nicely decorated restaurant and friendly attentive service. A small menu with very good food. I like the Stulle, dark German bread with home made soft ham and pickles. My fish was excellent, the home made Maultaschen very good, but the onion sauce too strong and overpowering. Good selection of wine. Food and wine are a bit pricey but worth it. We will be back.

This is one of the best restaurants in Germany. The menu is different and interesting. The place is owned by a couple, one is the chef and the other waits tables with another person. They offer a fixed price menu which I usually try as it is always wonderful. Service is great and the staff speaks English. The wine list is mainly local but very interesting and our server made a very good recommendation to go with our meal. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Germany. Eat here you will be glad you did.

The Weinstube Weinreich is a husband and wife affair. He cooks and she waits the tables. We were there late on a Sunday evening without reservations after a concert at the church across the street. The food was interesting and decidedly different from the normal German cuisine. We settled for the special 3-4 fixed price menu on offer the night we ate there. We had chicken with risotto in a fig sauce as our entree. The price was 35 Euros for 3 courses and 42 for 4 courses. Everything was delicious. We asked the proprietress to recommend a good wine and she did not let us down. We had a delicious Weissburgunder from the area. We were told the fixed price menu changes to reflect the availability of the best ingredients. I highly recommend the restaurant, it is very gourmet for such a small town.
