We always enjoy going to the Schwanenteich with our dog and love the hospitality in the beer garden and the very friendly staff. Our dog also loves the dog ice cream and dog popcorn! Such a great idea for the furry friends😊❤️👌

Went here for dinner and were greeted with very good and friendly service. Our dog also had no problems at all, on the contrary, he was given water immediately. We really liked the modern, newly designed and renovated guest room. The dishes were all fresh, but tasted very neutral, which was a shame. The starter was homemade aioli with bread. The aioli wasn't the usual mayonnaise-heavy one Aioli but very creamy, unfortunately it didn't taste like aioli. The main thing missing here was garlic. You can use salt and pepper yourself, but the basic ingredient in an aioli is garlic, and that was missing. We continued with an endive salad that was very bitter, and we tasted little to no of the homemade French dressing, so it was also very neutral and had no taste sensation. We continued with a game goulash with napkin dumplings, this dish also had a very neutral taste. You didn't even notice that you were eating wild game. Neither the meat nor the sauce tasted like game, the dollop of cranberries on the goulash was the only indication that it was a game goulash. The three slices of napkin dumplings also had no taste whatsoever. All in all, it was an expensive evening with little to no taste experience. Unfortunately, our expectations based on the good reviews were not met. In my opinion, the chef is missing some ambitious seasoning here.

The Schwanenteich Restaurant also scores highly when it comes to cleanliness. The sanitary facilities are modern and extremely clean, which reflects the high standard of the house. Conclusion: The Schwanenteich restaurant is a wonderful place for families and pet owners. The great location, the excellent cuisine and the warm service make it a place that you can recommend without hesitation. Families with dogs in particular will have a relaxed and enjoyable time here.

Our first visit/attempt wasn't really successful. Arrival on Saturday evening at 8:10 p.m., there was no food left - the kitchen was closed. Lt. Internet food is available until 8:30 p.m. The friendliness of the employees that is so often mentioned here, at least towards us, is not there. Drove there for free, dealt with quickly, annoying!

Yesterday (June 6th, 2024) we wanted to buy ice cream at the location after a bike ride. However, we took the second route through the beer garden to the kiosk/restaurant. There we were greeted in a friendly manner by a male waitress from above: “What can I do against you?” He explained to us that it was not possible for us to go through the beer garden to the building and that it was private property. So potential customers were completely rudely dismissed - next time I won't stop there on my bike tour.

It's always wonderful here a cozy evening with very enjoy delicious food. The Chocolate mousse from last night especially recommended ;) Also the friendliness of the boy Teams likes to let us get to this 0rt return. Clear recommendation!

Had cake and coffee/cappuccino. Was very tasty. Clean, clean, sanitary facilities in the house, clean tables and chairs in the beer garden.

Went there today for a birthday dinner and it was very tasty and beautifully presented and the service was very accommodating, you can tell that the people are still having fun working in the service and like the kitchen, all in all it was very successful midday early afternoon

What can I say, thanks to the great young/family team who put a lot of love into everything. The restaurant is very modern and everyone can find what their heart desires on the menu. I love the curry dip with bread as a starter. It's also great to sit in the beer garden, where many great events (Oktoberfest, Christmas market, barbecue) took place last year alone. I'm looking forward to the next visit

Visit on February 9th, 2024 with four people, my personal impression that evening: I had the Schwanenteich Bowl Mediterranean couscous with goat cheese. I was very disappointed with the bowl! The size of the bowl was too small for me personally, the amount of crumbly goat cheese in the salad was too small for me and the couscous was too neutral for my taste. I informed the service about my taste sensations. Since there were no further questions about my feelings, I was given the impression that this would be accepted without comment. Because of this negative taste experience, the price-performance ratio is not there for me. What I unfortunately also noticed negatively that evening was the strong smell of food in the dining room when the freshly caught fish of the day was served at the neighboring table. I hope my review will be taken by the owner as constructive criticism for improvements!

The food wasn't worth what you paid. Bratwursts were more than just cooked through and the fries just didn't have enough potatoes to go with the amount of salt

At the time of the assessment (2022), the hotel café no longer existed, but there was a beer garden with various food and drinks. Recommended.

Were there on March 2, 2024 with 12 people - 4 of them left. The right menu has been found for hedem. Very nice and friendly service. Everything was right - including the price. Would always recommend.

Nice ambience. Service courteous and friendly. Food came very quickly. Unfortunately, the starter salad was very simple and had hardly any dressing. The fries were very good and fresh and the paprika schnitzel was tasty but quite small for the slightly high price.

We were there on a Christmas evening, great lighting, very cool atmosphere especially in summer. Great view of nature and a great walk alongside. There are sufficient parking spaces available. Great option for events or celebrations.

It was my first time there and I have to say: simply great!!! Very nice and attentive staff, a wonderful atmosphere and very good food!!! The menu is a bit smaller but there are starters, main courses and desserts. There are also vegetarian dishes such as bowls. I felt very comfortable there and had a wonderful evening. Wir waren auf Empfehlung in diesem schönen Restaurant, welches vor kurzem von einem neuen Pächter Paar übernommen wurde. Wir haben uns von Anfang bis Ende sehr wohl gefühlt, der Service war aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Die Speisen waren sehr liebevoll angerichtet und auch sehr lecker. Nach dem Essen konnte man noch eine schöne Runde um den Teich laufen, der direkt angrenzte. Direkt am Haus ist auch ein Imbiss, wo wir uns vor der Heimfahrt die letzte Stärkung gegönnt haben. Vielen Dank für die nette Gastfreundschaft, wir kommen gern wieder.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit leckerem Essen und sehr aufmerksamem Service. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Das Steak ist auf den Punkt gebraten und die Schweinelendchen mit Spätzle waren sehr lecker. Wir waren zufrieden und freuen uns aufs nächste Mal.

Ein nettes Lokal gleich am Waldrand. Kleine Karte, aber oho. Es gibt ausgewählte, leckere Gerichte, ansprechend angerichtet. Für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei, Das Personal ist aufmerksam und hat alles im Blick. Hier werden wir sicher öfter essen.

Wir waren wieder dort , um weitere Speisen zu kosten. Der Anfang machte eine Dattelcreme und gebratene Champignons. Die Dattelcreme hatte Süße und Würze und einen Currygeschmack, was uns sehr gemundet hat. Anschließend gab es eine Kartoffelsuppe mit frischen Lauchzwiebeln. Die Suppe hatte eine super cremige Konsistenz und einen tollen Geschmack. Danach gab es ein Rumpsteak medium mit hausgemachter Kräuterbutter und Kartoffelchips. Das Rumpsteak war gut gebraten und saftig, die Kräuterbutter hob sich durch ihre verschieden Kräuter, von den gewöhnlichen Kräuterbutter angenehm ab. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, immer darauf bedacht , das der Gast zufrieden ist. Wir können das Restaurant mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Probiert es aus. Es lohnt sich

Die Räumlichkeiten wurden ansprechend renoviert, das Essen war sehr gut und der Service hervorragend. Wir können einen Besuch nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant, direkt am Schwanenteich gelegen. Das Restaurant verfügt über einen tollen Biergarten, für Wanderer und Fahrradfahrer somit der beste Ort für eine Rast. Das Restaurant ist aber auch sehr gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen, ausreichende Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Die neuen Inhaber und ihre Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und äußerst sympathisch, man fühlt sich als Gast direkt wohl. Ausdrücklich lobenswert ist die Küche. Die Speisen sind alle frisch, die Soßen selbstgemacht, der Koch versteht sein Handwerk. Obwohl die Küche eher der gehobenen Gastronomie zuzuordnen ist, sind die Preise bodenständig geblieben,. Hier kann man auch als Familie mit Kindern bedenkenlos einkehren, ohne danach arm zu werden. Fazit: Definitiv fünf Sterne, klare Empfehlung meinerseits.

Sehr idyllisch am See gelegen, um vor oder nach dem Essen eine kleinere oder größere Wanderung zu machen. Der Service ist ausgesprochen freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker. Wir sind mit 10 Personen dort anlässlich eines Geburtstages gewesen und alle waren begeistert. Die geschmackvoll gedeckte Tafel hat das Besondere des Tages unterstrichen und bei uns allen besteht Klarheit:" Wir kommen gerne wieder" Danke an das ganze Team!!!

Sehr schönes restauriertes Restaurant und aufmerksames, freundliches Personal. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und es ist für jeden (Vegetarisch und Vegan in Boules) was dabei. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen sind ausreichend. Gute Möglichkeit, nach dem Spaziergang um den Schwanenteich oder nach einer Wanderung dort einzukehren. Kein WLAN, kein bis schlechter Empfang. Das nur zur Info.

Neue Besitzer, neues Outfit, neue Speisekarte! Ich freu mich sehr, das diesem Juwel am Oberbieberer Stausee neues, junges Leben eingehaucht wurde. Innen ein modernes, freundliches Ambiente, der Biergarten rundherum ist herrlich. Toller, freundlicher Service mit einem lieben Wort für die Gäste. Die Speisekarte ist klein, bietet aber dafür auch Gerichte abseits des Gewöhnlichen und vegane/vegetarische Alternative. Wir haben sehr gut gegessen dort und hatten eine schöne Zeit!

Nettes Restaurant in modernem Ambiente. Freundlicher Service, schmackhafte Bowls, super lecker der Klassiker Schnitzel und Pommes, sehr guter Espresso und qualitativ gutes Eis sind zu empfehlen! Nur der Salat ist verbesserungswürdig was Frische, Auswahl und Dressing anbelangt. Ansonsten echte Empfehlung für das Lokal mit schönem Biergarten am erholsamen Schwanenteich!
