Very, very good Italian cuisine

I got to know this restaurant through an invitation from a friend. It's good home cooking at attractive prices. The service is more than friendly, and the total bill was surprisingly down in a positive sense. So a clear recommendation.

Food quite good - service… I've never experienced anything like that! First of all: The food was quite tasty. At, for example, 26.90 euros for a cordon bleu and 16.90 euros for 3 grated cookies with salmon, it is also relatively expensive. As far as the service is concerned, what happened to us here is outrageous. A single unfriendly person managed to ruin the cozy end to a beautiful day of hiking! We had registered with a group of 9 people and then found ourselves in the restaurant. That meant a turnover of around 250 euros. The orders were taken - including 2 x tagliatelle with spinach (price 11.70 euros). The condition even came back and repeated the orders because she had forgotten a dish. When the food came, the people who ordered the pasta noticed that there were shrimps or prawns in the dish (price 18.90 euros). The waitress was called and made aware of the error. But instead of apologizing, the guests were barked at why they were ordering what they didn't want to eat. That wasn't correct! Pasta with spinach was ordered and not with prawns. After some explanations and back and forth the condition then said: “Then just eat this now and I will pay the difference”. So we started eating. After a few minutes the waitress came back and insulted the guests again! Why would you eat something you don't WANT TO PAY for... We were just able to ignore that with a shrug of the shoulders. After everyone had eaten, she came back to our table and shouted about how impossible it was for you to eat something you didn't want to pay for. Followed by more insults.  Of course we all wanted to pay, but only what we ordered. The people had agreed to eat the dish that was brought incorrectly and did not insist on preparing the dish they had ordered. The group then broke up and we left the “STORE”. The mood was at its lowest point and no one felt like staying longer than absolutely necessary! We will never see this establishment again and we will discourage anyone who will listen from coming here. They don't understand customer friendliness here!

Incredible experience. It begins with a personal greeting from the chef - something that rarely happens in restaurants anymore. The menu is small but very imaginative and high quality. Beautiful terrace in the courtyard. Professional, very friendly and attentive service. Farewell again from the chef. My conclusion: Ratinger top!

Este restaurante solía ser bueno. Ahora, por segundo año, llegamos a la conclusión de que la calidad de la cocina sigue bajando. El menú se ve muy bien, pero la ejecución está por debajo del estándar que cabría esperar de un restaurante Van der Valk. Parece estar enfocado en comer en masa, los platos no son muy sabrosos y algunos parecen estar preparados demasiado tiempo antes de servir. En el pasado, cuando estuvimos varios días, solemos comer aquí todas las noches. Ahora lo hacemos solo si el tiempo apremia y nos vamos a otros restaurantes para las otras noches.
