Sehr schönes altes Fachwerkgebäude, welches dazu passend eingerichtet ist. Freundliche und sympathische Bedienung. Das gesamte Ambiente wirkt stimmig und ist auch für größere Gruppen geeignet.

Ein sehr besonderer Ort wo man eine sehr entspannte Zeit verbringen kann.

Normalerweise bewerte ich Restaurants nicht – vor allem nicht schlecht – aber das Essen hat mir wirklich gar nicht geschmeckt. Echtes italienisches Essen bekommt man hier leider nicht. Das hat schon der erste Blick auf die Karte verraten: Es wurden sowohl Wiener Schnitzel als auch Nudeln mit Currysauce angeboten (und Carbonara mit Sahne…). Ich habe die Penne mit Fleischbällchen und Rucola sowie die Maischolle probiert. Erwartet habe ich bei den Fleischbällchen normale Hackfleischbällchen (circa 4cm) aus Rind oder Schwein. Bekommen habe ich etwa 1 cm kleine Kügelchen, die leider kaum nach Fleisch geschmeckt haben, sondern eher nach einer Pampe aus 80 % Toast und 20 % Schweinefleisch. Die hat man wirklich kaum runterbekommen. Und normalerweise bin ich beim Essen in Restaurants überhaupt nicht pingelig, weil mir eigentlich fast alles schmeckt. Als ich dann noch die Maischolle probiert habe, war ich völlig enttäuscht. Sie hat leider sehr muffig geschmeckt und war ebenfalls gar nicht gut. Deshalb bekommt Lumare von mir leider nur einen von fünf Sternen.

Sehr familiär geführtes Restaurant. Gemütlich eingerichtet. Es war alles perfekt.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal mit unseren drei Kindern im Lumare. Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service, wirklich tolles Essen in sehr guter Qualität. Die Kinder wurden besonders herzlich und freundlich behandelt. 1a *. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren gestern zu viert im Lumare und hatten zweimal Nudeln und zweimal Pizza. Ich hatte Spaghetti Carbonara und bin absolut begeistert. Ganz klare Empfehlung👍🏻. Die Pizzen waren wohl auch sehr lecker. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam, aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir waren nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Trotz einer größeren Gesellschaft, die zeitgleich eintraf, wurde an ALLES gedacht. Ich muss mich glutenfrei ernähren und es ist immer schön,an einen Ort Essen zu gehen,an dem dies möglich ist. Vielen Dank dafür!

Die Pizza war köstlich ... obwohl das Restaurant ausgebucht war, haben wir trotzdem noch einen Platz gefunden ... sehr empfehlenswert.

Immer wieder ein Genuss, hier zu sein. Zusätzlich zum Angebot der Speisenkarte gibt es immer eine Sonderkarte mit besonderen Optionen zu Fleisch, Fisch oder saisonalen Angeboten. Neben dem sehr leckeren und sehr ansprechend angerichtetem Essen muss auch der sehr schnelle und aufmerksame Service erwähnt werden. Hier fühle ich mich jedesmal willkommen und wohl und freue mich schon aufs nächste Mal.

Sehr hübsches kleines Lokal mit italienischer Küche ! Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen, als wir zum Geburtstagsessen dort mit der Familie waren.

Ein kleines, sehr nettes und charmantes Restaurant. Das Essen ist empfehlenswert. Schmackhaft zubereitet und optisch ansprechend serviert. Die Mitarbeiter sind absolut freundlich und ausgesprochen herzlich. Leider ist es etwas eng, so dass wir anderen Gästen an den Nebentischen zu nahe waren. Insgesamt jedoch einen abermaligen Besuch wert.

Ich hatte eine tolle Zeit. Das Essen war sehr gut, und der Service auch. Dann entdeckte ich aber ein paar Hunde im Restaurant. Das ist für mich ein absolutes No-Go. Deshalb keine 5 Sterne.

Genau dieses lebendige, herzliche Ambiente fühlt sich an, als säße man mitten in Italien. Der Service ist dabei wirklich brillant: aufmerksam, schnell, freundlich und mit genau der richtigen Mischung aus Professionalität und Charme. Ja – es ist lebendig und manchmal auch laut. Das muss man mögen. Aber genau das macht den Charakter aus: authentisch, energiegeladen und voller italienischer Kultur. Für mich: absolut empfehlenswert. Wer italienisches Lebensgefühl sucht, wird hier fündig.

Ein Ort mit schönen Begegnungen - einfach ein Top-Team und vor allem hervorragendes Essen. Für alle Geschmäcker ist etwas dabei - tolle Kochkunst! Fußläufig von uns und der große Hund ist immer willkommen. 2 Aussenbereiche - einer im geschützten Innenhof, der andere vor dem Restaurant - beide sehr geschmackvoll ausgestattet.

Ein rundum tolles Erlebnis! Der Service war super freundlich und aufmerksam, die Stimmung im Lokal angenehm und einladend. Das Essen war richtig lecker, die Portionen großzügig und die Preise absolut fair. Hier fühlt man sich wohl und kommt gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Wir waren mit 26 Erwachsenen nach einer Beerdigung dort. Der Service war in Ordnung. Es gab pro Person eine kleine Tomatensuppe und es wurden Vorspeisenplatten in die Mitte gestellt, ca. 1 gemischte Platte für 3 Personen. Die Auswahl war nicht besonders, etwas eingelegte Paprika, Pilze, weiße Bohnen, Artischocke, Abergine und Zucchini, sowie eine einzige Scheibe Lachs und 2 mini kleine Vitello Tonato. Alles war nicht besonders geschmackvoll, die Rückmeldung bekamen wir auch von unseren Gästen. Aber was ich noch schlimmer fand, wir haben pro Person 18,50 bezahlt, für 1 Suppe und etwas von einer Vorspeisenplatte. Da kann sich jetzt jeder selber seine Gedanken zu machen. Ich habe nachgefragt, wie dieser Preis zustande kommt, und habe als Antwort bekommen, dass das einfach der Preis bei solchen Anlässen sei. Die Getränkepreise waren auch ordentlich.

Möchten uns mit den Sternen für einen schönen Abend bedanken. Nach einer arbeitsreichen Woche freut man sich auf leckeres Essen, guten Service und einer angenehmen Zeit und dies wurde, vorallem von unserem Kellner und der Küche, erfüllt. Werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

The food was excellent. The kitchen is superb; the pasta, pizza, and fish are all outstanding. I can't comment on the carne, as we haven't tried it yet. But from what I could see, it looked just as good as the other dishes. The service was very good, even though it was quite busy that evening. The atmosphere is lovely and cozy. I'd gladly come back.

The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait long. The service was friendly and attentive. In addition to the standard menu, there's always a specials menu displayed on a large chalkboard. Besides classics like pizza and pasta dishes, they also offer fish and meat dishes. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. There are two separate dining rooms, and in the summer you can also sit outside. We appreciate the hospitality and will gladly return.

Excellent! We went to Lumare today with the whole family (10 people) and ordered everything from the menu: pasta, burrata, pizza, fish, and even schnitzel – everything was excellent. The food was of the highest quality, freshly prepared, and a real delight. The service deserves special mention: extremely warm, attentive, prompt, and with an infectious friendliness that perfectly rounded off the visit.

Definitely too much airplane noise, the planes landing in Düsseldorf flew directly over the courtyard, and a waiter who ate a clown for breakfast—that's not always appropriate either! I had a lukewarm, under-rolled, and soggy pizza, the worst I've ever eaten. I only ate two-thirds of it. When asked if I liked it, I truthfully denied it. The waiter in question said the pizza would be better next time... It sat heavily in my stomach for hours, and to top it all off, I got a "flieger Otto" (a kind of silly pizza) that evening. 2 out of 5 stars for the food because my wife's salad was okay. What good is the lovely ambiance in the courtyard? We were there for the second time today, namely the first and last time! The response I received probably came from the same joker who served us that day; he's probably even the manager. If he thinks he has to respond to my review with irony, fine, that's his problem. But he should keep in mind that I also have a perfect command of the foreign languages "ironic" and "sarcastic." I completely forgot to mention that, following his advice, I should ask for the pizza dough to be well-rolled and crispy baked the next time I order food. If you don't do this, will you automatically get a pizza with too thick and soggy dough? But whatever, there won't be a next time anyway! Aside from this review, there are only three other restaurant reviews in my reviews, two of which are worse and, you'll be amazed, one with three stars! However, considering that we eat out once a week, that's a damned few reviews when it comes to restaurants. This suggests that we were mostly satisfied, and I'm certainly not a notorious complainer. I always try to write my reviews objectively and truthfully!!!

Nice restaurant with super friendly service and delicious food

Six of us went to eat there, and everyone was very satisfied. There was plenty of bread with dip and aioli to start with. I personally had a pizza that not only looked good, but also tasted delicious. The pasta dishes all looked delicious, too. My dessert (chocolate mousse) was perfect. The prices are fair, and the service was very good. I'm sure we'll be back.

Basically a good place. We spent around €840 on two business dinners with the company within three days (€75 tip). However, the aftertaste that, when everything was paid for, even after a polite inquiry, there was no welcome from the kitchen or a small round (five people were still there at the end) was not included, sours the visit. Especially the stated reason, that it would be tax evasion if a round were on the house. I wonder if a bottle of liquor breaks, the restaurant surely doesn't pay hundreds in taxes for drinks not served. Oh well... next time, less of a tip and just order the round of drinks.

Very, very good Italian cuisine

We visited the small restaurant on a Wednesday evening with 10 people.  The reception was very friendly, the atmosphere around the restaurant itself was very cozy and appealing. The service was consistently present and responsive. The not very large menu offers delicious dishes, and an unusual daily menu completed the selection. There are clean toilets across the yard and space for around 10 cars in the on-site parking lot. All in all, a very good choice for an evening with delicious food.

I'm not much of a pizza fan and ate tagliatelle. They were very tasty and, above all, came to the table very, very hot. Absolutely wonderful. The tables are very close to each other and it was sometimes difficult to have a conversation with the other person due to the volume as it was of course really full on a Saturday.

Food was good, very good and attentive service. The ambience was also small but nice.

Today we spontaneously stopped by the Lumare on our bikes to reserve a table for our hiking group for next Saturday. Although it was just before 2 p.m. - the restaurant closes at 2:30 p.m. on weekdays - we received a very friendly welcome and were even able to order food. I haven't eaten such a delicious pizza (Gamberetti) for a long time. Crispy and fluffy dough and very well topped. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here. 👍 We look forward to the next stop on November 2nd, 2024. This restaurant is on our restaurant list and is far better than some Italian restaurants in the north of Düsseldorf. 😘

Were there for dinner. Reception and service were excellent. The atmosphere was also very nice. Unfortunately, the most important thing was that my food was absolutely the opposite. While the others ordered a pizza, which was okay (but nothing more), I decided on a sea bass fillet from the daily recommendation. The pizzas arrived, just for me an excuse: the cook had made veal cheeks instead of fish. I thought okay, it's not exactly similar but it can happen. The sea bass arrived with a delay. Normally a delicate game fish, in my case a large cartilage with rows of bones. I wonder how a chef could release something like that. The side dishes were from the first meal but I wouldn't have cared. But this fish was so bad - not edible at all. I felt really sorry for the really nice service. First the food comes too late and is then inedible. She apologized for the rest of the evening. The boss offered to bring me something else. Well meant, but: everyone else had almost finished eating by now and the whole thing was getting on my stomach. A dessert for everyone? couldn't save the evening. Conclusion: Service and crisis management were good but you visit a restaurant because of the food and for me it was terrible from start to finish. After sleeping on it, I also ask myself: was it actually a cook who was responsible for preparation and release. Unfortunately it ruined my whole evening

The day menu was convincing. The carpaccio with scallops and the pike perch tasted very good. The pizza is also delicious. Here, however, the dough could be a little crispier. A place that presents itself in a characteristic, elegant and well-kept environment. The service was kind, friendly and professional. The starter of grilled vegetables and the lamb ribs are excellent. The wine list is also excellent.
