One of the last traditional restaurants in Oberhausen with a hall and stage. Hopefully it will last for a long time.

After two visits to the Weißenburg, it's clear that it's worth stopping by more often. Whether it's potato salad with lamb meatballs, tortilla, tarte flambée, or the sometimes unusual draft beers, a visit is worthwhile, as is the friendly service.

We visited the restaurant only. It's has a nice ambience, it's clean and the service is good and friendly. I've only had the pizza 🍕 and a mixed salad 🥗 it was ok. I think the pizza base is pre made, and they just need to top them, and they are done real quick. The pasta that I noticed being served to other guests looks much better, so I would try that next time. Oh, you can get food to take away, too. 👍

Wat een fijn restaurant om even op adem te komen! Uitstekende attente bediening, heerlijk gegeten zowel vegetarisch als vleesgerechten zijn erg goed. De bediening is attent en vriendelijk maar niet opdringerig. Helemaal top. Vergeet de snelweg restaurants en rijd even om als je in de buurt bent!

A year ago my five star rating was: One of the best Greeks we've ever been to Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff Excellent food at reasonable prices I recently went to the restaurant again and I have to say it was a serious disappointment. Nothing has changed in the ambience or the excellent service. However, the kitchen is absolutely no longer recommended. Individuality and well-balanced taste are history. Rather, the gyros now tastes like any other stall: over-seasoned and over-salted, slightly dry. The rest of the food was extremely fatty and not tasty. The freshness was completely missing. For example, a lot of fresh mint used to be used, which I completely missed. The side salad was not marinated. As a decoration, a tomato completely cut into thick slices, but very bland. And that at the same previously increased price. One star has to be given for the food, but this time it is not justified. Unfortunately no longer recommended and unacceptable. Three stars, with good facilities and very friendly and professional service. Addendum to the answer: A public sorry would have been better than lecturing the guest. I informed you of my dissatisfaction and had 4/5 of the dish returned - and paid for everything. You kindly canceled the tzatziki because of the hair in it, which I hadn't asked for either. You can't judge the freshness based on the quality, minced meat is too finely ground to judge. Due to the over-seasoning and dryness of the meat, it is also impossible to say whether it is fresh or from the day before yesterday. Due to this answer, two service stars are now lost. The lady in the restaurant handled my criticism professionally, the person answering here doesn't even accept criticism. By the way, I'm not alone in my criticism. Das Uhlenhof Restaurant war ein sehr nettes und gutes Restaurant. Leider gibt es das Restaurant nicht mehr, es wurde schon vor ein paar Monaten geschlossen.

Hervorragendes Abendessen! Service prompt schnell und super freundlich. Zum Essen. Umbestellung Sonderwünsche etc würden mit einem kurzen klar können wir das so machen. Vorspeise Burrata mit Tomaten. Einziger Kritikpunkt. Es hatten ein zwei Tomaten mehr sein dürfen, oder der Burrata etwas kleiner. Geschmacklich toll. Bei mir ein Kalbsschnitzel. Das Schnitzel einfach wunderbar. Tolle Panade und hervorragende Fleischqualität. Beilagensalat mit einer leichten Säure. Sehr rund. Bratkartoffeln sehr lecker. Alles frisch zubereitet . Es war mir ein Fest,und ich werde es wiederholen. Tolles Essen tolle Gastgeber

Nice little restaurant with an outdoor area. Nice staff, delicious dishes on the menu. Coffee and cake class. I wouldn't have thought I would find such a beautiful restaurant in the allotment garden. Asparagus dishes are excellent. Delicious sauerbraten and knuckle. And of course Mario. Always in a good mood and very attentive.

We have been visiting here off and on for years. The food and service are always consistently good, we always enjoy coming back!

Unfortunately it's not nearly as good as it used to be and the change in the menu didn't do the whole thing any good either. Unfortunately, the food was very bland and not justified in every way in terms of price-performance. We used to enjoy coming here - but the general concept was still right. It's just a really beautiful location and at least there used to be great food here, but unfortunately this has now had to give way to a new menu. All in all, we have to say we were very disappointed - both with the food and the service. Unfortunately, there was also a wait of almost an hour before the main course finally arrived, which wasn't even served hot. In between there were only a few or no opportunities to order drinks and inquire about the order. It's a shame, such a bad experience unfortunately leaves its mark. :-(

Price-performance ratio is right. Good food at fair prices and the staff is friendly. What more could you want?
