Sehr lecker . Ordentliche Portion. Salat vorweg wäre wünschenswert. Aber nichts auszusetzen

Es war herrlich, draußen zu sitzen, und das Essen und der Service waren wunderbar. Ein sehr leckeres Essen zu einem sehr guten Preis.

Ein sehr schönes, gemütlich eingerichtetes Lokal. Insbesondere, wenn man weiß wie es vorher ausgesehen hat🙈... Getränke werden perfekt serviert; will heißen, Wein und Wasser im Kühler, Aperitif großzügig bemessen und ausgefallene Biersorten (z.B. Füchschen). Das Essen ist sehr lecker (griechisch) und immer ein bisschen individuell serviert. Was aber besonders hervorzuheben ist, ist der Service!! So nette Bedienung(-en) hatten wir schon lange nicht mehr!! Das ist es, was den Unterschied macht zwischen nur Essen gehen oder einen schönen Abend verbringen mit einem leckeren Essen. Wir werden ganz sicher zu Wiederholungstätern😃!! Ergänzung zu meiner Rezension von vor 4 Jahren: Als Erstes sei erwähnt, dass die Mitarbeitenden nach wie vor super nett und ausgesprochen aufmerksam sind!! ABER leider hat sich die Qualität des Essens verändert. Die Gerichte sind geschmacklich nur noch durchschnittlich (wohlwollend) und mengenmäßig geschrumpft (ich bin kein Vielfraß). Die Preise sind im Gegensatz gestiegen- wenn es linear laufen würde, dann wäre es okay für mich 😉. Die Getränke sind auch teurer geworden, bzw. der Eichstrich (beim Wein) ist von 200 ml auf 150 geschrumpft (Preis ist gleich geblieben) und dieser wird auch nicht überschritten 😅. Ich möchte klarstellen, dass wir einige Male innerhalb der letzten 4 Jahre hier essen waren aber leider wurde es sukzessive schlechter. Wie ich anfangs erwähnte ist es mir sehr wichtig, einen schönen Abend zu verbringen aber dazu gehört auch, dass das Eseen einem keinen Strich durch die Rechnung macht...

Ich habe heute zwei Portionen Pommes und zwei gemischte Salate telefonisch bestellt und selbst abgeholt. Den Salat habe ich bewusst ohne Dressing bestellt. Für die Bestellung habe ich 22€ bezahlt, mir ist wirklich nicht einleuchtend, was daran 22 Euro wert war. Die Preispolitik die hier betrieben wird, ist nicht zu rechtfertigen. Die Qualität ( was bei Pommes fast keine Rolle spielt) spielt bei einem gemischten Salat mit 3 Scheiben Gurke und Tomate+ matschigen Blattsalat wohl auch keine Rolle, unterirdisch, absolut! Ich bin selbst seit über 30 Jahre in der in der Gastronomie tätig, für so etwas Einfaches würde ich niemals einen solchen Preis verlangen und dann war es auch noch so lieblos zubereitet. Mich werden die Betreiber, trotz des einladenden Ambiente, dort nicht mehr sehen. Geschweige den werde ich dort wieder etwas bestellen.

Hier kann man sehr gut essen Man wird sehr höflich bedient und man wird auch öfters gefragt ob alles gut ist oder ob man noch was möchte Das Essen war sehr sehr gut gewesen, auf den Punkt genau und auch keine lange Wartezeit Das Ambiente ist super schön, schlicht aber auch ein gewisser Flair mit drin Im großen und ganzen, eine sehr gute Idee hier her zu kommen, also ich werde wiederkommen

Weltklasse Service vom Kellner, tolle Empfehlungen gegeben die wirklich sehr lecker waren. Die Terrasse ist wunderschön mit Blick auf den Garten und auf den Kinderbauernhof. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Warum die aktuelle Speisekarte im Restaurant deutlich teurer ist als die im Netz angezeigte, schmälert den positiven Gesamteindruck.

Wir waren am Sonntag zu viert dort essen. Haben viele verschiedene Gerichte bestellt. Also ich als Griechin kenne mich mit griechischen Produkten gut aus. Die Souvlaki Spieße sind tief gefroren vom griechischen Supermarkt gekauft worden. Das sind die Megas Yeeros Souvlakia. Der Name steht sogar auf den Holz Spießen. Der Preis beträgt im Supermarkt ca. 13€ für 9 Tiefkühl Spieße. Das ist der Preis ohne Großhändler Rabatt den alle Restaurants bekommen. Der Preis in dem Restaurant für 2 Spieße, etwas Tomate, zwei kleine Stücke Pita Brot und etwas Ztaztiki und Pommes beträgt 19,50€. Ich koche auch dieses Gericht zu Hause und es kostet mich ca. 4-5€. Für Tiefkühlprodukte sind ca. 20€ extrem überteuert! Der Gyros schmeckte übrigens auch genau so wie der Tiefkühl Gyros vom Supermarkt. Ein richtiger selbstgemachter Gyros schmeckt ganz anders! Der angeblich auch selbstgemachte Kuchen für 9,50€ war ok. Für den überteuerten Preis hätte ich aber mehr erwartet. Da gehe ich liebend in die griechische Konditorei Byzantio und zahle nur 3,80€ für sehr viel bessere Kuchen und viel mehr Auswahl! Die Selbst gemachten und frischen Gerichte wie es auf der Speisekarte steht gibt es kaum oder gar nicht! Schöne Grüße an das Team, wir sind keine Idioten!!!

Tolles griechisches Lokal mit sehr gutem Essen und super Service

Unser Chor hat hier sein Ostertreffen abgehalten. Das Restaurant grenzt direkt an den Kinderbauernhof, einen meiner Lieblingsorte in Neuss. Die Innenräume sind mit massiven Möbeln, beeindruckender Kunst und warmem Licht ausgestattet. Die Außenterrasse befindet sich auf einer erhöhten Halbinsel mit Blick in den Restaurantgarten und auf den Kinderbauernhof. Der Küchenchef und das gesamte Team sind sehr herzliche Menschen.

Wir waren mit fünf Personen dort und hätten geren gemeinsam zu Abend gegessen, was leider nicht Möglich war. Es wurden nur vier Gericht gleichzeit gebracht ca. 10 Minuten später kam auf Nachfrage dann auch das fünfte Gericht. Die Portionen war sehr überschaubar und nichts für den großen Hunger. Der Vorspeisenteller für 2 Personen war schon sehr sparsam. Die Hauptgerichte für den Preis zu klein und die Qualität..... na ja. Die extra bestellte Metaxasoße war eine wässrige nach nichts schmeckende rote Brühe. Das angepriesene Pitabrot beim Gyrosteller hatte man wohl in der Friteuse vergessen, es war nur ein harter Keks. Das Gyros war gut und lecker aber leider auf einem kalten Teller serviert somit war es gerade mal lauwarm. Im Biffteki gab es kaum Fetakäse. Die Zucchinipuffer war einfach nur trocken aus der Friteuse. Dann kam, was wir noch nie in einem Restaurant erlebt haben, obwohl noch eine Person am essen war wurde der Tisch abgeräumt. Es ist Schade, denn das Lokal hat ein tolles Ambiente und die Damen waren freundlich. Die Betonung auf eine extra klein gehaltene Speisekarte hat in uns höhere Erwartungen gesetzt aber es wird zuviel in die Friteuse geworfen. Für uns leider nichts.

Alles war wirklich Spitzenklasse vom stilvollen Ambiente über das wunderschöne Design bis hin zum hervorragenden Essen und den perfekt abgestimmten Getränken. Man merkt sofort, mit wie viel Liebe zum Detail hier gearbeitet wird. Für uns ganz klar: das beste griechische Restaurant! 🇬🇷✨ Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Tolles Lokal. Sehr nettes Personal, mega leckeres Essen und ein schönes Ambiente!!! Leider etwas happig mit den Preisen- da alles extra geordert werden muss... z.B. Tzatziki ist nicht bei einem Grillteller, Taramis nicht bei den Vorspeisenplatten dabei, bei der Fischplatte (Rotbarsch) für zwei Personen sind sage und schreibe 3 Kartoffeln als beilage - Nachschlag kostet. Gut gespeist!, aber für 4 Personen 280€ ist nicht ohne... 😪

Ein rundum großartiges Erlebnis! Das Essen war hervorragend – frisch, authentisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Der Service war herzlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir hatten ein kleines Küchlein was sehr sehr lecker war; das Ambiente vom Innenbereich ist sehr schön. Die Bedienung war aber etwas unfreundlich und ungeduldig besonders mit meiner älteren, langsameren Oma, und der Kaffee war winzig und in Tassen, die man nicht wirklich halten kann.

Gehen seit einigen Jahren dort sehr gerne essen. Die Küche berücksichtigt Wünsche bei Bestellung. Preis-Leistungen ist super. Der Service ist auch sehr gut. ♥️

Haben zu zweit spontan im Lokal gegessen und waren positiv überrascht. Sowohl die Vorspeise, als auch der Hauptgang und besonders der selbstgemachte Kuchen waren gut. Die Karte bietet eine kleine typisch griechische Auswahl, wo sicherlich für jeden etwas dabei ist. Die Speisen werden alle frisch und in guter Qualität zubereitet. Die Portionen sind in Ordnung. Das Gyros könnte für meinen Geschmack nur etwas knuspriger sein. Wie bereits erwähnt sind die diversen hausgemachten Kuchen wirklich top. Das Lokal ist ausreichend groß und das Ambiente ist passend. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Danke.

Wir haben kurzfristig noch telefonisch nach einem Tisch für 2 Personen gefragt und haben glücklicherweise direkt reinkommen können. Vor Ort wurden wir freundlich empfangen und an einen Tisch vor dem großen Fenster zum Garten gebeten. Die Karte überzeugt mit landestypischen Speisen, die nicht zu voll ist, aber für jeden etwas Leckeres bietet. Wir hatten jeweils eine Vorspeise und einen Hauptgang und konnten aufgrund der zahlreichen Angebote an gutaussehenden Desserts nicht widerstehen und mussten uns unbedingt noch 2 Stücke Kuchen sowie ein kleines Törtchen gönnen. Wir sind rundum begeistert. Man schmeckt sowohl die Frische der Zutaten als auch die Qualität heraus. Das warme Essen lag mir nicht schwer im Magen und der Nachtisch war perfekt, nicht zu süß und handwerklich top! Das Personal war super lieb und sympathisch und hat meine neugierigen Fragen souverän beantwortet. Vielen Dank für das gute Essen und den Service. Wir kommen definitiv wieder vorbei!

Tolles griechisches Restaurant. Sehr freundlicher Service, man fühlte sich gleich willkommen. Außerdem richtig gemütliche und abwechslungsreich gestaltete Gasträume. Und das Essen war ebenfalls hervorragend - schmackhafter Grillteller mit dem besten Gyros, das ich seit langer Zeit gegessen habe.

Wir waren mit Freunden am 2. Weihnachtstag hier essen. Die Karte war für Weihnachten reduziert worden, trotzdem gab es um 19 Uhr bereits kein Gyros oder Hähnchenfleisch für den Grillteller. Hier wurde leider schlecht geplant. Das Brot für die Vorspeisen war alt und hätte nochmal aufgebacken werden können. Die Vorspeisenteller waren okay, aber leider auch nicht allzu üppig bestückt. Die Hauptgerichte waren schmackhaft, das Bifteki gut gewürzt. Der Service war sehr nett und gut drauf, trotz Weihnachtsstress. Insgesamt ein netter Besuch mit Potenzial nach oben.

Nette Bedienung. Essen war gut. Beim Grillteller waren keine Zwiebeln dabei. Ein kleiner Schlag Tzaziki wäre schön gewesen.

Es mag sein, dass wir im Bezug auf die griechische Küche durch das leider nicht mehr existierende Restaurant Syrtaki in Düsseldorf-Vennhausen sehr verwöhnt sind. Jedoch sind fast rohes Geflügelfleisch, zähe Filetspieße und versalzenes Gyros inakzeptabel. Da wir in einer größeren Gruppe dort zu Gast waren und jeder dieses Empfinden hatte, kann es sich nicht um einen Ausrutscher gehandelt haben.

Update My last review was a year ago. We ate here again today (my wife was here a few days ago with her friends). I can't help but give the same review as last time. We had two bifteki with fries, coleslaw, and Metaxa sauce, and one sea bream fillet. Everything looked good and was beautifully presented. The food was flavorful and served piping hot. The souvlaki was cooked to perfection and deliciously seasoned. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The lighting is cozy. The service was friendly and helpful. In short, highly recommended. Previous review We ate at a different Greek restaurant two weeks ago. Today we went to Plokami. The difference is night and day. Everything at Plokami was perfect. The service was friendly and cheerful. We ordered different dishes, and they all tasted fantastic. The value for money is excellent. The decor is just right. In short, highly recommended.

Yesterday, we spent another wonderful evening with the whole family. We love the wonderful, cheerful girls who take their excellent advice so seriously to ensure our customers are truly satisfied. The conversations are always friendly, funny, caring, and welcoming. The food is so delicious, the dessert is dreamy, and the atmosphere is simply relaxing. We are so, so glad we discovered this lovingly run restaurant a few years ago. Truly, nothing is left to be desired here. It's now our absolute family favorite for any occasion. The girls are always super attentive, and the atmosphere is always great. The ambiance is fantastic, and the amazing gallery in the basement is also worth a visit. The food is always great, with a sophisticated, delicious selection. Always fresh, and the service is excellent. For us, it's by far the best Greek restaurant in Neuss. They still serve really good ouzo. Everything is just perfect. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We recently had lunch at Plokomi Restaurant with our guests. We really enjoyed the food. A big shout-out to the chefs. One thing I would like to address to the chef is why the internet says something like... Accessibility Wheelchair accessible entrance, And my husband, who has a walking disability and uses a wheelchair 🧑‍🦽, was only offered the stairs. This has nothing to do with accessibility. Chef, please change something.

We stumbled upon the Plokami restaurant spontaneously after a visit to the children's farm and were pleasantly surprised. The harmonious ambiance captivated us as soon as we entered. The welcome was exceptionally warm, as was the entire service. We were particularly pleased with the loving treatment of our young daughter; we immediately felt welcome as a family. The food was excellent: the gyros was beautifully crispy, everything was very fresh and tasty. You can tell that great importance is placed on quality here. An all-round successful visit, one we thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

What can I write? We celebrated our wedding here and were very pleased. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. The food was plentiful and delicious, and we were able to set up some of the decorations ourselves the day before the wedding, according to our own ideas. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Not only were we thrilled, but so were our wedding guests. I can recommend the restaurant without hesitation and would celebrate here again anytime.

The gyros wasn't bad, well seasoned, crispy fries, and fresh onions, which were quite okay for the price. The dorado with baked potatoes and vegetables could definitely have been better, especially for the price. The text said baked potatoes, but there was only one potato, which was very disappointing. There could have been more vegetables. A small, tiny piece of bell pepper, two pieces of zucchini, and two pieces of carrot were completely unacceptable, and the cuts weren't particularly appetizing either; they were all just coarse pieces. The oil they were cooked in was at least tasty. The dorado was well-made, but definitely not a highlight in terms of taste. For the price of the dish, €22.50, it was way too expensive. Unfortunately, I don't see the quality or the right amount for the price. It's a waste of money.

We stopped in spontaneously on a Thursday afternoon. The lunch menu is small but still offers a variety. I had a Caesar salad, my companion a slice of cake. We each had a large fruit juice spritzer. The bill came to around €32. We were surprised by how expensive it was. The spritzers were €6 and €7, respectively, the salad was €12.50, and the cake was, in our opinion, a completely unreasonable €6.50, with the cream adding another €1. We weren't aware of the prices for the large spritzer and the cake (which seemed to have thawed itself). It should be noted that the terrace is very nice; the Neuss Children's Farm is adjacent, which can sometimes lead to a bit of noise. My dog was welcome both inside and outside. The service was very friendly, which unfortunately still doesn't make up for the high prices and mediocre food.

Better late than never😅.... In May 2024, we celebrated our daughter's confirmation there with almost 50 guests. Our every wish was accommodated 😊It was absolutely fantastic!!!!! The fireplace room was lovingly prepared for us...the food was amazing...the service was fantastic...simply everything!!! So accommodating and friendly🥰! Our previously selected starter and main courses were placed on each group table as a small buffet. We kept refilling the menu. We eat there as a family every now and then...it's worth it!

The meal this Wednesday afternoon at Plokami was truly delicious and plentiful. A very special thank you goes to the two lovely ladies who served the food. They were very friendly and caring, especially to our two children. The ambiance is truly lovely, and the outdoor area in particular makes for a truly enjoyable stay. We'd love to come back :-)

We just visited Plokami for the first time. The house Pinot Gris wine was good and cold. The Füchsen beer was much too warm. After complaining, they brought out a new, warm one. We had two bifteki, one with fries and one with potatoes. Some of the fries were old or soggy. The bifteki was tasteless, with very little to no feta cheese. I hope the other guests have better luck.

A rip-off at its finest. Grilled meats without a side dish for €13. There are better Greek restaurants that offer more for the price.

Went there for lunch. Sat comfortably on the outdoor terrace with a view of the garden. Nice staff and fast service. The food was very tasty and the portions were sufficient.

I ate here with my girlfriend and our children (1 to 4 years old). We were served very friendly. What I particularly liked was that our small children were not seen as a disruptive factor. We had a lovely stay with delicious food on the sun terrace and will definitely come back!

Based on what our family had for lunch, the portions of the main courses were rather small, and the side dish consisted of a small, counted-looking number of fries. Service OK, ambience is supposed to look modern, but in my opinion it is. after not convincing.

A year ago my five star rating was: One of the best Greeks we've ever been to Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff Excellent food at reasonable prices I recently went to the restaurant again and I have to say it was a serious disappointment. Nothing has changed in the ambience or the excellent service. However, the kitchen is absolutely no longer recommended. Individuality and well-balanced taste are history. Rather, the gyros now tastes like any other stall: over-seasoned and over-salted, slightly dry. The rest of the food was extremely fatty and not tasty. The freshness was completely missing. For example, a lot of fresh mint used to be used, which I completely missed. The side salad was not marinated. As a decoration, a tomato completely cut into thick slices, but very bland. And that at the same previously increased price. One star has to be given for the food, but this time it is not justified. Unfortunately no longer recommended and unacceptable. Three stars, with good facilities and very friendly and professional service. Addendum to the answer: A public sorry would have been better than lecturing the guest. I informed you of my dissatisfaction and had 4/5 of the dish returned - and paid for everything. You kindly canceled the tzatziki because of the hair in it, which I hadn't asked for either. You can't judge the freshness based on the quality, minced meat is too finely ground to judge. Due to the over-seasoning and dryness of the meat, it is also impossible to say whether it is fresh or from the day before yesterday. Due to this answer, two service stars are now lost. The lady in the restaurant handled my criticism professionally, the person answering here doesn't even accept criticism. By the way, I'm not alone in my criticism. If I could I would give 10 stars🤗 We've been here for the 6th time and the food is incredibly delicious. Added to this are the friendly people who work there. Always friendly, always smiling. Simply great👍🏼 we have definitely found our favorite restaurant 🤤

Four of us were at Plokami on a Friday evening and only the second time there. We were very impressed on our first visit - this time our top impression was confirmed once again, if not even exceeded! :) Many thanks to the whole team, you do a great job, your service is extremely friendly, quick, attentive, but never intrusive. Just like the kitchen team: how delicious can you prepare food? Always fresh, cooked/grilled to perfection and very attractively presented. You've been paying higher prices almost everywhere for some time now - but we think the price-performance ratio at Plokami is great. And for such great service and quality, you're happy to pay a little more anyway. We'll be back soon! :)

Warm, friendly and attentive service. Grilled sea bream and the grill plate, as well as the drinks, came to the table promptly. The portion size and the price-performance ratio are right. Full marks would have been given if there had been a greeting from the kitchen and an ouzo at the end. October addition: The guest room was set up for a funeral coffee. Coffee was always refilled, water bottles were on the tables. The cold cuts were very sparingly stocked, 2 half rolls could be served for 4 people. The sheet cake is meaningless! 2 types of jam and butter packaged. You looked in vain for meat, egg, quark, cream cheese or a little more topping. Only the cup of chicken soup was tasty. Overall, therefore, not recommended.

Authentic Greek flair and outstanding cuisine! I had the pleasure of visiting this Greek restaurant near Düsseldorf/Neuss and all I can say is: it was an absolute hit! As soon as I entered I was greeted by the warm, welcoming atmosphere, which immediately gave me a feeling of vacation. The furnishings are stylish and have typical Greek elements - simply cozy and inviting. The menu offers a fantastic selection of traditional Greek dishes and the quality of the food was truly first class. Every bite was a delight! The starter platter was to die for – fresh tzatziki, crispy saganaki and lovely olives that literally tasted like sunshine. My main course, the Chicken Breast Fillet (Kota Marinated), was cooked to perfection: tender, juicy and full of flavors. The side dishes such as potatoes and spinach rice were also simply delicious. The service was equally impressive. The staff were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive and made sure we felt completely at home. I found the house's recommendations particularly nice, which led us to excellent food and wine. At the end there was a small dessert on the house - a really sweet end to a completely successful evening. The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and service you get here. I can recommend this Greek restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Greek food and a cozy atmosphere. A real insider tip in Düsseldorf/Neuss – we will definitely be back!

Wonderful space, full of art, a wonderful terrace, we were able to relax a little while the children played. The food was divine, and the desserts, not to mention, make your mouth water just thinking about them! We really liked it, the children did too. It's time to go back. Very nicely located Greek restaurant with a small but fine and sufficient selection of dishes. Plus a modern interior ambience and a long balcony terrace. What was worth mentioning during our visit was the very nice and courteous service. The food was very tasty and the visit can be combined with a trip to the children's farm or a walk in the countryside.

It's been a long time since I've had such a good meal. Great atmosphere and the service was great. All in all a successful evening 😊😊😊 We'll definitely be back...

We have always been very satisfied here, but we were even more disappointed on our last two visits (both within the last two weeks). It can always happen that a meal isn't right and since we were always satisfied up to that point, we made a second attempt...unfortunately. Both times all the dishes were extremely salty and some were inedible. The zucchini fritters were very greasy and... served on a plastic plate, which for me is a no-go in a restaurant. It's a shame, but we won't try again here.

We went to Plokami for the first time yesterday, on the recommendation of a friend. He grossly understated it. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the reception was super nice, we booked a table and were accompanied there. Despite the terrace being fully booked, the girls were in a great mood, very friendly and had a quick joke on their lips. As for the food, we were absolutely thrilled. As a starter there was prawns in a hearty tomato/cheese sauce, to die for. For the main course we had the grill patte and the Paris platter, both very tasty. We were actually always very happy at Plokami. Great ambience, very nice staff, delicious food, especially great appetizers and the Ouzo cocktail is a hit! Unfortunately the last two visits weren't so great. Some dishes were not available both times (lamb, sea bream) and the veal chop was never 400-500 g as stated, but tiny. The gyros were quite over-seasoned and the zucchini fritters were so dry, as if they had been lying around forever. We said this too, but the shoulders were shrugged. The visits were in May/June 2024 and we are very disappointed and will be looking for something else. Too bad. You can't continue like this!

My Bifteki once again tasted excellent. Afterwards, a Greek yogurt dessert and an espresso made the meal perfect. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. A visit is always fun

Excellent service, delicious food, great ambience. In summary: We (4 people) had a very nice evening at Plokami. Since I know the owner of another restaurant, I was critical from the start. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the good service and the excellent food. We were there on two consecutive Sundays and despite the high number of people, the waiting times were relatively short. In terms of price, the catering was in the upper midfield.
