Heute zum Mittagessen hier mit Kollegen und der Mitarbeiter war sehr nett und höflich. Das Essen (Schaschlikspieße mit Pommes und Sauce) war sehr lecker, nur die Spieße waren mir persönlich zu klein, hätte gerne noch was mehr sein können. Hier kann man auch mit Karte zahlen. Danke.

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant sehr. Die Atmosphäre ist unglaublich gemütlich und das Interieur wunderschön gestaltet. Besonders gefällt mir, dass es Tische für jeden Geschmack gibt: für große Gruppen, gemütliche Plätze für zwei Personen sowie Sitzplätze draußen und auf der Terrasse. Das Essen ist einfach hervorragend. Die Portionen sind riesig – wirklich sehr groß. Die Schweinhaxe war die größte, die ich je gegessen habe, und dabei unglaublich lecker: saftiges, zartes Fleisch mit knuspriger Kruste. Das Schnitzel zergeht förmlich auf der Zunge. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch den Service – das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und professionell. Man fühlt sich als Gast wirklich willkommen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant allen Liebhabern der echten deutschen Küche nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Ein netter, typischer Ort. Um 15:00 Uhr hörte ich die Uhr spielen, während sich Figuren bewegten.

Waren mit 8 Personen dort. Wahnsinnig gute Haxe, Beilagen und Sauce auch unfassbar gut. Nette und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter (uns bediente Natalie). In jeder Hinsicht zu empfehlen.

Letzten Samstag, 18.5.26 aßen wir mit Freunden dort zu Mittag. Meine Freunde sind Stammgäste im Vogthaus. Wir bestellten dreimal gebratene Pilze mit Folienkartoffeln und Quark. Die Pilze (Champions) waren nur ganz kurz in der Pfanne, eher zum Erhitzen als zum Schmoren. Die Pilze waren sehr groß, sehr hell und sehr hart. Der wirklich freundliche Kellner gab unsere Beschwerde weiter. Der Koch ließ uns dann einen kleinen Teller Pilze bringen, die etwas länger garten. Leider waren sie immer noch hart. Die Menge der „Ersatzlieferung“ entsprach noch nicht einmal einer Portion geschweige denn drei Portionen. Ein älterer Herr kam an unseren Tisch und entschuldigte sich für die rohen Pilze. Meine Freundin, schon seit sehr langer Zeit Stammgast, vermisste die Pfifferlinge, die es vorher (mit Champions) zu diesem Gericht gab. Der Herr wurde sehr laut und behauptete: „Pfifferlinge hätte es noch nie dazu gegeben. Der Gast hat nicht immer Recht.“ Er bot uns noch einen kostenlosen Espresso an, auf den wir dankend verzichteten. Der Besuch war sehr enttäuschend. Schade....

Eines der besten Brauhäuser, die ich kenne, und das sage ich als Neusserin, die regelmäßig hin geht. Die Einrichtung ist etwas moderner als man es von klassischen Brauhäusern kennt, was ich sehr mag. Das Essen ist lecker und trifft genau das, was man erwartet. Dazu gibt es immer auch eine gute Wochenkarte und Vegetarisches. Der Service ist schnell, aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen auch gerne mit größeren Gruppen. Jeder findet was und es ist immer eine gute Wahl. Beim letzten Besuch hatten wir Veganer dabei: Der vegetarische Burger wurde sehr gelobt, auch von Nicht-Veganern. Klare Empfehlung!

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt und der Sevice war mehr als Super und das Essen...Hmmm, LECKER 1A 👍🏼🤗 Und auch für jeden was dabei. Kann es nur empfehlen !!!!

Essen war frisch gekocht und lecker. Hatten Backfisch mit Kartoffelsalat. Sehr lecker und Portion war gut bemessen. Der Service war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Preise waren angemessen. Von mir eine klare Empfehlung.

Gesten waren wir im Vogthaus Mittag essen. Eher zufällig,weil wir aus dem der grausigen Landschaftschau geflüchtet sind. Mit 4 Erwachsenen und einem Säugling wurden wir herzlich und professionell empfangen. Wir durften uns auf der Terasse einen Platz aussuchen. Wir wurden sehr professionelle und freundlich bedient.der Kinderwagen und das Kind waren kein Problem. Die Speisekarte besteht aus sogenannten gut bürgerlichen Gerichten. Alle Gerichte waren handwerklich sehr gut gemacht und sehr lecker und bekömmlich. Nichts aus Eimer und Tüte. Und vielen Dank, mal keine Pizza und Drehspiessgerichte. Vielen Dank an Service und Küche. Ihr habt unseren Tag nach der schlechten Landschaftsschau noch schön gemacht.

Gutes Essen zu fairen Preisen, trotz Feiertag und mehreren Gesellschaften gut aufgelegter und sehr freundlicher, wenn auch nicht immer schneller Service. Großer Dank dafür, dass wir unsere Familienfeier in einem eigenem Raum abhalten durften.

Wir waren mit 4 Personen dort. Das Ambiente ist modern mit Brauhauscharakter (TOP). Die Bedienung ist ausgesprochen freundlich, schnell und kompetent. Die Spargelcremesuppe war hervorragend, der Sauerbraten sehr gut - für meinen Geschmack hätte er etwas säuerlicher sein können, die Käsespätzle sehr gut und reichlich, der Flammkuchen mit Spargel sowie auch das Spargelgericht waren gut. Das Bier war gut gezapft (Bolten Alt) bei den antialkoholischen Getränken haben sich die Hersteller die größte Mühe gegeben 😊

Tolles, zentrales, sehr großes Haus für alle Gelegenheiten. Wir saßen oben mit einer 25 Personengruppe. Durch die stilvolle Sanierung war die Akustik dank der Schallschutzplatten an der Decke erträglich. Service flott, Essen lecker, aber preislich etwas zu hoch angesetzt.

Absolute Empfehlung aber leider keine Bilder gemacht. Das Essen war sehr lecker, der Sercive war überragend! Die Karte hat eine tolle Vielfalt und variiert (Tagesgerichte) im Wochenverlauf und saisonal. Tolle Zusammenstellung von Gerichten. Große Portionen und die Preise sind oke, wobei die Getränkepreise schon ordentlich sind. Offene gemütliche Räumlichkeit, gutes Licht, angenehme Stühle. Geeignet für alle Gruppengrößen, nur drauf einstellen dass gut was los ist.

Nur ein veganes Gericht auf der Karte, und dann ist es noch nicht Mal verfügbar. Zum Glück konnte ein Gericht "veganisiert" werden, jedoch schien irgendwas bei den Pilzen falsch gelaufen zu sein, massive Übelkeit und Erbrechen. Andere Lebensmittel, die zuvor am Tag gegessen wurden, können ausgeschlossen werden. Ich kann das Restaurant definitiv nicht empfehlen. Zwar ein schönes Ambiente, aber ich werde nicht nochmal hingehen.

Wer Muschel rheinisch mit Schwarzbrot mag, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Aber auch andere Rheinische Gerichte stehen auf der Karte und schmecken auch. Vom Vogtgaus erkling dreimal am Tag (11,15 u d 17 Uhr) ein Glockenspiel mit Schützenfestpatade.

Man sitzt hier sehr gut, der Service ist freundlich und auf der Speisenkarte und am Zapfhahn ist für jeden Geschmack was dabei. Ob Sülze, Schnitzel oder Burger...jeder kommt auf seinen Geschmack. Meine Empfehlung ist der Rheinische Sauerbraten. Richtig schön zart mit Kartoffelklößen, die ihren Namen noch verdienen. Es war mein zweiter Besuch hier, aber nicht der Letzte. Alles klasse, daher fünf Sterne.

Wir hatten Familien Treffen und sind aus Hessen, Pfalz und NRW angereist. Das Essen ist fantastisch und die Bedienungen alle sehr aufmerksam und nett! Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder ;)

Ein sehr schönes Lokal/Brauhaus, im Herzen von Neuss. Heute habe ich mit meiner Freundin das Vogthaus, nach sehr langer Zeit zum Mittagessen besucht. Ohne vorher zu resevieren. Wir haben fast keinen Platz bekommen, und dass an einem Dienstag, spricht für sich, positiv! Leider saßen wir sehr be-engt, ebenfalls zu weiteren Gästen, dies empfinde ich persönlich als unangenehm. Das Ambiente hat mir sehr gut gefallen, Brauhausstil und trotzdem modern und sauber. Der Service freundlich, zügig und mit reichlich Humor. Akustik, sehr laut für eine Unterhaltung. Die Speisenauswahl wirklich ausreichend, für jeden Geschmack ist etwas dabei, preislich allerdings gehoben. Fazit: Empfehlenswert.

Schönes, modernisiertes Brauhaus. Gemessen an anderen Brauhäusern war das Essen deutlich besser. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Es war alles o.k.

Hatte Muscheln. Waren weit unter dem, was ich z.B. im Dom bekommen habe. Kann man niemanden empfehlen. Service war aber sehr gut.

In our case, a 10% "drinks fee" was automatically added to the bill without any prior notice. The food was fine, but there should have been more transparency about this.

We ate there on the second day of the holiday. What I didn't like was that the salad only had vinegar and oil, which not everyone likes. And the fries seemed to have been reheated twice. The service was efficient and friendly. Of course, it's not pleasant to wait over an hour for your food. It's a shame; we won't be going there again.

I celebrated my birthday with 13 people at Vogthaus Neuss. Although the restaurant was quite busy, the service staff was consistently attentive, friendly, and courteous. The food was absolutely delicious and of very high quality. All my guests were completely satisfied. I would also like to especially highlight the wonderful atmosphere, where you immediately feel at ease. I can wholeheartedly recommend Vogthaus Neuss and will gladly return! Thank you so much for a truly wonderful birthday celebration in such a special setting.

We were there with a large group. The food was delicious and the staff friendly.

Good German cuisine. Even though it was crowded, the staff made a great effort.

Great restaurant with excellent service. We were here today with our department for our Christmas dinner. Everyone was generally happy with the food, except the Spätzle served with the beef goulash (which was very tasty) were overcooked and mushy. Since I was full from the goulash and salad, it didn't bother me too much.

Since we've often eaten at the Vogthaus privately, I suggested it for our Christmas party. We enjoyed a variety of dishes: pork knuckle, schnitzel, roast beef, and much more. My colleagues also had dessert. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food, and it looked fantastic. The ambiance was also praised several times. I'd like to highlight the following aspects of the Vogthaus: excellent decor, very cozy atmosphere, great food at fair prices, and friendly/attentive staff. For me, the Vogthaus is the restaurant in Neuss where everything is just right. In short! Highly recommended. A small addition: Right in front of the Vogthaus during the Christmas season is the lovely Christmas market run by the Kremer family. We also enjoy visiting it. Everything there is of very high quality.

We held our Christmas party there and enjoyed a delicious roast goose breast. Our server was very friendly and remained relaxed even with 30 people. Highly recommended!

The food itself was delicious, and considering the price, it was incredibly good value. I tried the non-alcoholic beer myself; it had a subtle honey flavor and was the best I've ever had. The restaurant was very busy on Sunday, and we waited about 15 minutes to order before receiving our dinner, which was then 30 minutes later. It was truly, truly, truly delicious; three out of our group of four didn't finish everything (but it was definitely worth taking home).

We just had a meal at Vogthaus Neuss with four people. Everyone ordered something different. Everything was plentiful and delicious. The food was also beautifully presented and served simultaneously by a friendly and efficient server. The drinks were of good quality. The prices are reasonable considering the generous portions and excellent quality. Highly recommended!

My husband and I ate at the Vogthaus today, and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, the food was terrible. It was so salty it was practically inedible, unfortunately. Both dishes—my schnitzel with fries and gravy, and my husband's beef goulash with spaetzle—were completely oversalted. What I also found disappointing was the server's reaction when I told her about it. Of course, she refused to bring us anything else. If both dishes are so salty, I really don't want anything else. I would have appreciated a discount on the food. I understand they can't serve it for free, but a discount because the food was so salty would have been appropriate. It wasn't just that we didn't like the taste; it was far too salty, which has nothing to do with flavor. The restaurant's ambiance was quite nice, but it was very crowded and therefore quite noisy.

Very friendly staff, even helped us book a taxi, great vibes, great food, even did their best to help us despite, although we weren’t locals. I had the Bachfish, and it was really good!

Even when it's busy, the staff is always friendly and accommodating. This weekend we sat upstairs for the first time, and it was also very nice. It was Bavarian Week, and the woolly pig was delicious. Unfortunately, two of the Bavarian beers tasted a bit stale. I had the feeling they had been sitting around for a while before they were tapped and served.

At the Vogthaus, the atmosphere is perfect, the food is made from fresh ingredients, the beer and other drinks are great, and the service is also very good. Perfect for a stop with friends.

I was invited to a company event! The beer was served quickly, the buffet was okay. A bit more vegetable selection might have been nice, but it probably wasn't planned for by the buffet planner! It definitely tasted good, though!

A very nice restaurant/brewery with delicious food and tasty draft beer (also non-alcoholic). The atmosphere is very pleasant and invites you to linger. The upper gallery offers seating, as does the outdoor area in front of and behind the restaurant. TOP.

I ate at the Vogthaus today with my daughter and granddaughter (12 weeks old). We received such polite and courteous service. They gave us access to the elevator since we had the stroller with us. The food was excellent. The portions were very generous and the prices were affordable. We will definitely be back and can recommend the Vogthaus Neuss to everyone. 5*****

Great food, very friendly and fast service

One star is still too many. Today was our first and last time there. We dropped in spontaneously and took a free table outside. We stayed there for about 15 minutes after waving several times before a waiter came by. He took our order without saying hello or offering a menu, in a rather brusque and stressed manner, "What do you want?" Luckily, we had already looked at the website to pass the wait and knew what we wanted. The drinks arrived after 10 minutes. What followed was an odyssey. While at other tables people ordered, ate, and left...or, like at the table next to us, didn't order at all and left again because it took too long, after about an hour the waiter came to ask what we had ordered. Wow. "One minute," he said, then disappeared and was never seen again. Time is relative, as Einstein already knew. A minute can be very short, or it can feel like an eternity. For us, it took another 15 minutes. Then the food arrived. We'd already been there for over an hour and a half. We weren't really hungry anymore. But now it was here. One roast beef with fried potatoes and one tarte flambée. They're just a bit time-consuming. Hopefully, the wait was worth it, we thought. The short answer to that was "No." Not bad, but definitely not worth the time and price. As soon as the food arrived, I asked for the bill. I knew by now how long it takes to wait for a server (service isn't meant literally, as service seems to only be for regulars here). After we finished our meal, we had to ask three different employees four more times for the bill, before the last one received a more than rude "I'll be right there." In total, we waited another 20 minutes just for the bill. Until we could finally get out of this place. Conclusion: So, if you have a lot of time and boredom that you'd like to kill waiting for something, this is the place for you. If you love mediocre food and don't like waiters who either treat you like air or snarl at you, this is the place for you. Anyone else who enjoys being treated kindly and courteously, appreciates good food, and generally wants to have a pleasant evening should go elsewhere.

Since the change of management roughly four years ago, it's been simply wonderful! Great food, draft beer, and traditional waiters. Perfect!

Everything was amazing. We ordered the traditional curry sausage, salad, and a German tartar. Delicious, reasonably priced, and above all, the staff was incredibly friendly. Special mention to Evangelos. He treated us wonderfully and made our visit very special. We'll be back and highly recommend it if you're looking for traditional food and a modern place.

Unfortunately, today was bad: (please read the addendum!) First of all, we eat at Vogthaus very often and are usually always satisfied. We've also already left a few positive reviews here. Therefore, I ask the Vogthaus team to consider this first negative review as constructive criticism. We went out to dinner today as a couple. I had a rump steak with fried potatoes and a Bavarian cream. My partner had a knuckle of pork and also a Bavarian cream. I ordered the steak medium. When it arrived at the table and I cut into the middle, I quickly realized that it had been in the pan too short a time and in the oven too long. The outer part was dry, the center still raw. Since I'm a trained chef myself, I quickly pointed out the mistake to the server, and he took the plate back. After about 10 minutes, the same steak came back to the table... In the meantime, the meat juices that had escaped from the cut had completely mushy the surrounding fried potatoes, which had also been in the pan for too short a time, as the onions were still translucent and the bacon was soft. The steak, which had already been cut through, was, of course, much too dry and almost inedible. Since my companion was almost finished with her meal, I decided to eat the meat (at least the part that was still edible). I left the "fried" potato completely. When a server came to the table again and asked if everything was OK, I unfortunately had to say no again. My companion also had to practice with the sauce that was served with the knuckle of pork, as it was as thick as pudding due to significantly too much cornstarch. The server simply acknowledged the complaint and told us to pass it on to the kitchen. To at least somewhat alleviate the disappointment, we ordered a Bavarian cream with red berries. It was excellent, airy, and beautifully seasoned. When we asked for the bill, the criticism of the employee came up again. However, the server immediately disappeared and returned a few minutes later without a word, presenting us with the full amount of €81.50. We paid. When the employee simply left the table and said goodbye, I had to point out to him that this was NOT good service; they could have at least offered us a coffee as compensation or dessert on the house. To this, he replied very brusquely and in a rude manner, "I would have done that!" By this time, however, the bill had already been paid, the employee had moved a few steps away from the table, and, as already mentioned, had already said goodbye! Dear Vogthaus, The next time I visit you, I will address this review, which I hope will be understood constructively. As a former restaurateur, I know how difficult it is to maintain good quality day after day! Today, however, we felt mistreated as regulars, which, frankly, really spoiled our evening. We hope you'll try to live up to your good reputation next time and make up for tonight. We, for one, will give you the chance 💕 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Two weeks later, we returned to the Vogthaus with two friends. This time, everything was fantastic, as usual. Fast, friendly service from the same waiter, delicious, fresh, and hot food, and our hot drinks and desserts were on the house as an apology for the last time. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you so much for the lovely evening and the truly delicious food. 💕 See you soon. 😊

Very nice brewery atmosphere but (EDIT 04.2022) The food was very good, but having to pour my own wheat beer several times into the same glass really irritates me. I expected better service.

We ate there with a group of seven on a Tuesday evening in May. This was my first visit and certainly won't be my last. I particularly liked the ambiance and the outdoor area. The restaurant was about 40% full. The servers were very friendly and prompt. The food is typical of a brewery, meaning it's solid. We liked that the food didn't arrive after 10 minutes, as is usually the case. This gave us plenty of time to chat. I highly recommend this place, whether just for a beer or for dinner.

A beautifully decorated restaurant with many friendly waiters. Unfortunately, the food didn't exactly impress me... The mashed potatoes had a pre-made mashed potato flavor... the black pudding wasn't crispy. The schnitzel was very small and extremely thin, and the fries weren't cooked properly... a shame, really, considering the price.
