Music was a bit too loud and the winter garden was very noisy

For us, the best restaurant in Norddeich. The crab soup is a hit. A huge fish platter. Very friendly service. Dogs are also welcome and get treats. We'll be back.

The fish was fried perfectly! The service was very friendly and accommodating! Sing to the Frisian spirit! Highly recommended!!

We ordered two pretzels with herb butter and two peppermint teas. The pretzels arrived after about 15 minutes (it was hot and tasty), and the tea arrived another 20 minutes later, long after we'd finished the pretzel. At one point, we asked where the tea was, but were coldly dismissed with the statement that it was the other guests' turn. When the tea arrived, we asked why it was so late, and the waitress explained that she thought we'd already ordered the second tea and had already finished the first one. Not a word of apology, even though the restaurant was only one-third full.

The pancake was undercooked and completely flavorless. The spinach and egg on top were also unseasoned.

You have just given my friend and she is my sister-in-law a lifelong ban from the house because she wanted to pick up her voucher because you promised her it because of her cold food that was delivered way too late. Our best friends were on vacation there and invited us to dinner. What do you do on the North Sea? Eat fish ☺️ The restaurant was their "insider tip." My husband loves fish, I don't really like it, but there are exceptions to the rule... We loved the food!!! It was absolutely delicious 🥰 The service was excellent and the atmosphere was comfortable. The food was delicious, the portions were perfect, and the service was quick and friendly. I'd be happy to go back!

We went to the pancake house today and, unfortunately, we didn't like it at all. The sauce tasted like something from a packet, and the jam like instant jam (way too sweet). The prices weren't justified. When it came time to pay, we didn't even get change (even though it wasn't much). We pocketed the money and went back into the restaurant.

After all the reviews have 'disappeared' here are mine again in a nutshell: We were here in summer 2022. The owner/tenant behaved impossibly, complained about his guests and shouted loudly at his staff. In particular, extremely unfriendly towards children and complained about a stroller (this could also be found in several other reviews!) We can't say anything about the food because we left the restaurant after an unfriendly request. I couldn't find anything about a leadership change on the homepage, hence the new review. Something like this shouldn't be 'lost'.
