The food, as always, is delicious. BUT the ambiance isn't great. The wooden porches from the Corona period are still inside. The windows could use a cleaning!

Very nice ambiance, very, very friendly staff. I can't rate the food as we only had coffee, but it was very tasty. We'll definitely come back for dinner sometime.

Very nice fish restaurant in Norddeich. The staff were attentive and did a great job. We had the crab with black bread and the captain's plate, and both were highly recommended. Ten of us – including my mom for her birthday – went to this restaurant for a fish dinner. My sons and daughters-in-law were with us, and we all had a wonderful time. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious and of excellent quality. Thank you so much for the lovely evening – we'd love to come back!

I ate here for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised: I ordered redfish with butter and fried potatoes. The redfish was delicious, cooked plain with just the skin on. I've rarely eaten such delicious fish.

We spontaneously stopped by yesterday for lunch without a reservation. The restaurant is showing its age, but it still has its charm. I can't say anything negative about the service or the food; it was really good! If I'm back in Norddeich, I'll gladly go back to Ohes.

Our regular during our two-week vacation...every year! Super delicious fish dishes and very friendly service. Compared to other restaurants, the prices have also remained stable (compared to 2024), and the amount of food on the plate remains the same. Everyone has their own favorite fish restaurant, that's perfectly normal. But for us, the best fish in Norddeich is at OHE!!!! And that's been the case since we first visited this restaurant 11 years ago (back then it was still called "TRECKPOTT")!!!

The Captain's Plate was amazing. My wife had the fried herring. It was also very tasty, a bit salty if you're sensitive. The staff was very attentive and extremely friendly. Excellent value for money. We'd be happy to come back.

We had schnitzel with fried potatoes and fries. Schnitzel from a supermarket package, slapped onto a plate with what felt like 20 liters of oil – anything but fresh. Fried potatoes and schnitzel completely drowned in oil. A culinary experience of the greasy kind.

I stopped in here spontaneously. Although the waitress said the kitchen was busy, all the drinks and food arrived quickly. The food wasn't outstanding, but it was okay. The price-performance ratio was good.

Unfortunately, the food was very greasy and only moderately tasty - overall rather disappointing. The location seemed uninviting and a bit outdated. However, the service staff should be highlighted positively: very friendly, attentive and competent. Without this good service the visit would have been a complete failure.

On the day of arrival we were at a somewhat difficult time as many places were closed. We then spontaneously decide on Ohes without having read anything about it. As many have already noted in their reviews, the decoration is a lot, but somehow also homely and becomes cozy at second glance. Now at the end of our vacation, even after a few more visits to other locations, we found ourselves back in Ohes. The food is simply delicious and good portions. But what brings so much fun and joy is the service. On both of our visits we were mainly served by Claus and it was just so pleasant to be with him, he made our visits to Ohes something special and Claus alone is a reason to like going there. I've walked past it so many times and finally stopped in on this vacation. It was just great. Despite the rain, we sat dry outside under the canopy. Rustic atmosphere inside. Everyone in service was super friendly and totally attentive. We had the feeling that all we had to do was think about the waitress and she would be at the table. That's really rare. The food came after a short wait and was fresh and super tasty. Everything is barrier-free, but only cash payment is possible.

We ate there for 2 days (my mother had requested a smaller portion...which wasn't a problem) and it was very tasty...the service is very attentive and courteous...a rustic shop...has something 🥰 fits there and is a must to eat there 😉 👍

Absolutely not recommended. Food in the lowest category for cheeky prices! Three machines were broken during the ordering process, so we had to look for alternatives and had to make compromises. Save money on food wherever possible! Maybe instead of the 100 “dishes” (probably open the can and put the plate in the microwave) only offer five good ones!

It's self-service, at the counter. BUT: The food!! The fish! In a fried fish roll you have the whole fish in the roll and not just a part of the fish. And the taste is delicious. I think the ambience is okay, it has its crowd. You have to go there if you are a fish lover and seafood lover.

Food was too expensive for the portion size. Unfortunately there was far too little salad on the plate. There were only a handful of fries, but there were 2 schnitzels. The terrace is super narrow. Went there with a stroller and later had to ask 3 guests to get up as we were leaving so that we could get out with the stroller. Unfortunately we would not recommend the restaurant.

We sat outside and were served promptly and very nicely. I had whiting (cod) with fried potatoes and salad and it was very good. Including a non-alcoholic beer, I paid around 20 euros and I think that's more than fair for such a good meal.

We were actually in Hage for personal reasons and were simply looking for a restaurant and found this one in Norddeich. There were enough on the road and it was just chance and hunger that we stayed here. A lot of decoration and somehow there was still something left over from the bad two years, but it was still very tasty and somehow very rustic. Maybe we'll come back sometime.

The inside of the restaurant was old and unkempt, which of course doesn't always say anything about the quality of the food, but the fried potatoes were definitely from the day before. They tasted strange. The portion was really small and not exactly cheap. We left the restaurant hungry.

The food was good. Unfortunately only the fried potatoes are not. These were not freshly made, without bacon and without onions, probably ready-made and left on the frying plate for too long. Onion fish was good.

The smoked fish display looked inviting. Ambience with a Greek touch (blue and white). The crab soup was unfortunately a ready-made soup with North Sea crabs. Since we read some good and very good recommendations and the pictures looked pretty nice, we didn't think we'd risk anything. When we arrived, we were very surprised by the smell and the remains of Corona, but we didn't want to be put off. The fish was quite good and tasty, the salad was at least fresh. The fried potatoes had been kept warm for too long or reheated too often and the schnitzel was more like the sole of a shoe in shape, condition and taste. The staff was attentive and polite. All in all, you can eat here, but you'll find cheaper, better-tasting food and a nicer ambience

Went there relatively late yesterday as guests. Matjes with fried potatoes were very tasty and absolutely great price. The plaice that I was able to steal from my wife in small quantities was also tasty and of good quality. The beer was freshly tapped. The furnishings were maritime and fisherman style. Very quaint and inviting. Greetings from the Ruhr area. We will be back.
