The food was delicious, thanks to the chef. The waitress was friendly and nice, but unfortunately, she wasn't seen again after the table was cleared. Perhaps asking for dessert or a drink would have increased sales. And the guests wouldn't have been left without food for 30 minutes.

Four of us visited the Nordeich restaurant on the evening of September 20, 2025. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were still able to get a suitable table. The friendly staff served us food and drinks quickly. All of the dishes we ordered, including Labskaus, schnitzel, and the Nordeich fish platter for two, were delicious. We finished off our meal with a delicious shot on the house. Prices were reasonable. We'd be happy to return.

Reserving a table is a must. We ate there twice and were satisfied. Service was fast and good. They offer daily specials. You have to ask, as they aren't listed on the menu. But it's very reasonable at €14 per dish.

You can eat well and affordably there. There's plenty of space inside, in the conservatory, and, weather permitting, on the sun terrace.

Simply a MUST. Everything we've eaten so far has been truly delicious, and the price is right. We'd happily go back again, but it's even better with a reservation.

Compared to other restaurants, the fish dishes are a bit more expensive. Nevertheless, they're delicious, the staff is very friendly, the ambiance is lovely with outdoor seating, and dogs are welcome.

The food is highly recommended, very good. The service until payment (tip) was also excellent. Afterwards, if you ask for a new appointment, you're brushed off. No time; they can see what's going on here. Getting a phone call is also a matter of luck. It's a shame; we would have loved to go again. There are even more good restaurants in Norddeich.

I can't comment on the restaurant's ambiance. The conservatory and terrace were beautifully decorated, and everything was just right. The food was delicious and served quickly and hot. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A large selection of fish and meat dishes was available. The price/performance ratio was excellent. There was more than enough on the plate. Seniors' plates are also available. Dogs are allowed and welcome guests. Dogs are immediately given water, and they often receive a treat at the end. We really enjoyed the meal and will definitely go back. The restaurant is somewhat tucked away in a residential area, so it's quieter. Reservations are recommended.

We went there spontaneously after a Google search. The fish goulash was really delicious, the location was quiet, the atmosphere was nice, and the selection was good. The staff were very friendly at first. However, after we complained about a swapped side dish, our server was quite rude, which somewhat ruined the evening. A replacement for the side dish was delivered very quickly, though. The wait to pay was very long, but the restaurant was also busy. Perhaps there were too few staff. Overall, the restaurant seems highly recommended, and the portions are generous. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but they're fair for what's on offer. The fact that they charged extra for ketchup on fries was a bit odd. However, they did offer candy and a free shot of liquor.

All in all, it was okay, but my plaice was very bland under the thick batter. Even lemon, salt, and pepper couldn't save the fish. The boiled potatoes were delicious. The salad before it was a disaster with the ketchup and mayo dressing. You can get better food in Norddeich.

I won't go there again. 33% of the service was unfriendly or rude. The food doesn't deserve any awards. We waited at least as long to pay as it took to eat, even though we told the server three times that we wanted to pay. There are better dining options in Norddeich.

After years, we went to the restaurant for a suckling pig dinner today. I have to say, though, that we won't be doing it again. The suckling pig dinner starts at 5:00 PM, and we arrived at 5:00 PM, and the best of the pig was already gone. We didn't have much time to catch up. There wasn't enough. We asked the waiter, and the explanation was, "There are good eaters and not-so-good eaters." Today, there were probably too many of the good eaters on site. In my opinion, they accepted too many guests for this pig when they made the reservation. WHAT A PITY

We went for a suckling pig dinner. They serve it on Tuesdays, but you have to pre-order early and be there by 5 p.m. because when it's sold out, it's sold out. It was worth it. It was delicious.

Great, traditional restaurant! We ate here twice on our visit this July. The first night, we had great fish dishes and our son had schnitzel. It was schnitzel day, so there was a reduced price on all schnitzel variations. We booked right away for the following Tuesday as we saw on the menu that they offer Spanferkel (whole roasted pig) every Tuesday. It was also great. Reservations recommended as it is a popular place.

We visited this restaurant for dinner based on a recommendation. It's located a bit out of the way between holiday homes, residential buildings, and a family hotel. Parking is available at the restaurant and nearby. The restaurant was very clean, the tables were set, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The drinks came very quickly, and the wait for the food was short. We had various fish dishes that were very well prepared and delicious. It was also pleasing that they also served boiled potatoes. The website states that there are no luxury options. That's not true. I was welcome as a wheelchair user, was able to sit at an inside table, and even used an accessible restroom. For me, that's pure luxury and by no means common for Norddeich. We will be back.

Four of us ate here: two adults and two children. We had a reservation because we hadn't been able to get a seat the day before. The ambiance is good. The main part is cozy and rustic, while the winter garden is a bit more modern but also very inviting. The staff was very friendly. The portions are very generous. The fish was delicious, well-cooked, and seasoned. After the meal, there were sweets for the little ones and a liqueur for the adults. Very rare in a German restaurant. I would eat here again anytime; we'll definitely go back during our vacation.

Yes. The food was fantastic, with generous portions. A wide selection, including vegetarian options. Even my 4-year-old daughter found something to eat, which isn't always easy in other restaurants. There was also a small play area. The service was very friendly, and everyone got a little treat at the end.

Located a bit off the beaten track, but all the better for it. The cuisine, in particular, is a welcome departure from the "deep-frying shacks" that also call themselves restaurants. Here, you'll still find "home-style cooking," naturally in a somewhat modern form, but still very tasty. This selection makes a visit almost a must. Yes, the interior is a bit dated, but everything is clean and well-maintained. Access is available for people with disabilities, and there's also an accessible restroom. Reservations are recommended, especially on special days. Dogs are welcome here. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

The furniture has seen better days. But that's ultimately what makes the inn so charming. The schnitzel dishes we ordered were delicious. The price/performance ratio is really good.

Superb home-style cooking. Very friendly atmosphere actually. But when the management is off or absent, the guests are not exactly treated in a friendly manner. The server makes a mistake and the guest is called a liar and rude. Very sad when you have been a regular customer for years (about 6 years). Especially when this happens twice in a row. Then the incorrect meal is taken back but you are charged for. Actually a great restaurant with incredibly delicious food and dishes... but unfortunately it has a bitter aftertaste. It is very sad that a single server can put the service in a bad light. The other service staff are very friendly and competent and concerned about the guests' physical well-being. I hope that a solution can be found.

I ordered hunter's schnitzel with fries and salad and my wife ordered chicken schnitzel with fries and salad to pick up. The wait wasn't long, the food was still warm when we got home and very tasty, and the portions were great too, completely reasonable value for money. Next time I'm in Norddeich I'll definitely order something or eat there again, it looked very attractive and cozy inside and the staff were very friendly. So I would definitely recommend it.

We felt at home from the very first second. The food was so delicious, and everyone was soooo sweet to our dog. There were even treats for her and, of course, for all the other furry friends.

The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and efficient, and they quickly arranged free seating despite the restaurant being packed. There were two of us and we ordered the fish platter for 2 people, which was absolutely delicious. However, the quantity (8 fillets plus roast/sweet potatoes, side salad, and fruit garnish) could have fed 4 people. So we took half of it with us in the provided transport boxes. Conclusion: A thoroughly recommended restaurant visit; only the portion size, and therefore the price, could have been a third smaller.

Due to the unfriendly atmosphere, we decided to go to another restaurant where we felt more comfortable. Really great restaurant and is directly opposite our holiday home. When we are in Norddeich, a few visits to the Norddeich restaurant are part of it. The daily specials and the grill plate that can be picked up are particularly recommended. Absolutely okay in terms of price. The service is great and the waitresses are very friendly and open to all requests. Even though we're not big fish eaters, we enjoyed it too. All in all, nothing to complain about and highly recommended. I would also make better reservations during the season.

Everything was great, I also think it's good that there are smaller portions for seniors and a children's menu. However, a slightly larger selection on the senior menu would be great. The house schnapps, which is free after the meal, is very tasty. We'll be back!
