We ordered two pretzels with herb butter and two peppermint teas. The pretzels arrived after about 15 minutes (it was hot and tasty), and the tea arrived another 20 minutes later, long after we'd finished the pretzel. At one point, we asked where the tea was, but were coldly dismissed with the statement that it was the other guests' turn. When the tea arrived, we asked why it was so late, and the waitress explained that she thought we'd already ordered the second tea and had already finished the first one. Not a word of apology, even though the restaurant was only one-third full.

I was just there for coffee. The service was very friendly and quick. I highly recommend it.

I can't say anything about the rooms but the service, the location and the ambience are really great. It's really worth stopping by and offers space for a short break, shopping and delicious coffee.

Absolute catastrophe in service. The waiter clears the neighboring table, sees that we are sitting there without drinks and hears that we would like to order. Absolute ignorance, went in, didn't come back out to take our order. After 10 minutes I went in to order at the counter. I was sent away again with the words "they will be served outside". After 20 minutes we finally had something to drink. Waiter seemed unfriendly. You don't feel welcome. The young men who work there sip around listlessly in full view of the guests. All in all, disappointing service that I have never experienced in this form in a tourist and spa area.

We've been in Norddeich for years, I've had three rehabs and I've always been extremely satisfied, but what this high tower waiter is doing is the height of impudence. A total unpleasant person who scares away customers with his nasty sayings! That guy doesn't work at all!

The cultural offerings with exhibitions and concerts are also impressive. The in-house restaurant is particularly worth mentioning: very tasty food, fairly priced and in a great atmosphere. The selection is diverse – from small snacks to regional specialties. The service was attentive and friendly. Ideal for a break after a walk or simply to enjoy. Totally recommended!

Stomach spoiled in the catering area! Waiting forever for the food. Unfriendly when handing out food at the “Feed Luck”. Completely overcrowded spot, whose operator doesn't need to improve anything due to the location. No service inside. After about 3 visits, never again!

The location is beautifully situated right by the sea. The influx is very good since it is the only restaurant directly on the beach. The staff therefore always seems stressed. In other places, the staff is friendlier despite such crowds. The menu is simple, a fast food joint, the prices are very high for the quality of the food. It's a shame, all in all, it's a great prerequisite for a top restaurant, but it's not being used. If it weren't for the location, the restaurant would hardly be visited.

On Friday we were in the guest's house in Norddeich with a group of 9 and sat down outside. The drinks were ordered and three people from our group then ordered food for the whole group. We were then able to pick up the food ourselves - but there was no trace of our drinks. When we asked the waiter Vali about it, he reacted very unfriendly and said it was busy. When asked why other tables that had arrived after us had already had their drinks, all we got was a snippy remark: If we didn't like it, we should just go somewhere else next time. In addition, the glasses from the previous table were not cleared away - not even while the order was being placed. We have rarely experienced such unfriendly and indifferent service. Definitely our last visit to the guest's house. A tip to waiter Vali: Maybe another job would be more suitable.

Extremely long waiting times for service and drinks. When we asked in a friendly manner whether our order had been forgotten, the waiter (Vali) became very rude and cheeky. The fact that an employee dares to speak to customers in such a tone is crazy! (I have been working in the customer area for 20 years but would never dare to speak to customers like that). When we wanted to cancel our order, he said that this was no longer possible under any circumstances. When the drinks came after another wait, they were thrown out of the table and we were asked to pay immediately. By the way, the glasses from the guests in front were never cleared away, we pushed them aside. So when we say “guest house” we imagine something different as a family that wants to go on vacation. We will never come back, as Vali recommended to us :)

I took a day trip to the Norddeich with my family on April 16, 2025. Unfortunately there was no sandy beach and no public toilets. But since I had to very urgently, I went to the guest's house. At the toilet it said that for non-visitors please buy a coin for €0.50 at the counter. I gave 1€ and got my coin, but the remaining 0.50€ was kept. Since I had to go more and more urgently, I went to the toilet. I think this is all a rip-off of the restaurateurs and the city, even with the parking fees and not setting up public toilets. I will not recommend Norddeich as a destination, there are better places further up the coast.

It's unclear whether you will be served or not. Employees shout at each other and insult each other. Doesn't make a good impression. Operating concept questionable. Waiters only serve certain tables and you have to pay at the counter and then only to the waiter who served you. If it's not there, you can't pay.

You order drinks while sitting inside with the waitress - as long as she doesn't have too much work to do with the many unoccupied seats inside. It's the same when paying: the guy would rather stand on his feet for 20 minutes and leave it to his colleague who is running around outside instead of collecting the money himself. The service has been cut back in recent years until there is nothing left of it, the main thing is that the euros roll in.

There were delicious tea combinations and snacks that tasted particularly good with a view of the sea. Weatherproof visitors could sit outside, protected from the wind, and those with cold weather found comfortable seating inside.

With patients and visitors from a nearby clinic and vacationers, the guest's home could become a meeting place for everyone. One A small menu alone would be an opportunity to linger in a cultivated atmosphere and to feel comfortable. I also miss the dyke sheep that are typical of the North Sea.

Unfortunately, my partner, my son and I were ignored and not served by the service staff. All the other guests around us who had already had drinks were kindly asked again if they could have anything else. My partner then got up and asked the service with the answer that he would not be able to serve this table and that his colleague would do this. The colleague always walked past us! Then my partner went to him and he said he would come right away. When he came he first asked the table behind us who already had something. I then spoke to him and said if we could order something since we had already been waiting for over twenty minutes. His answer: I've just started my shift, which I said, but I've been seeing him serve me the whole time. Then his answer: well, life is not a pony farm 😲😡and annoyed if we still want to order now. We got up and left in horror. This gentleman should really think about his way of dealing with guests in service. Maybe he could have said, I'm sorry, I didn't see you or something similar, then we would have been fine. Since we are locals, we will not visit this restaurant again and will not recommend it to others. Impossible. And the boss should motivate his staff better because something seems to be going wrong.

We were there on Friday evening with 22 people and wanted to stop in. We were told that the kitchen was out of food. If they didn't want our money, we'd just spend it somewhere else. The tiresome topic of dogs...I've been on holiday in Norddeich with my dog ​​for 18 years...always visiting the guest's house. . .. with dog. I've never had a problem there because of this...on the Monday when we were there it wasn't a problem for other guests or the staff either - the healthy dog ​​was on a leash under the table and the sick one was tied up in the dog cart. .. on Wednesday again the worst and biggest problem was that the old, sickly dog ​​was sitting in there and I couldn't look after him under the table... well, it's a shame but what's the point then just a vacation in Norddeich without the guest's house! !

Ate there, wanted to eat fish. Logically in Norddeich is obvious. But what we got was, to put it in German, modest (beschi.........). Whole fish in a bun, fries in a cardboard bowl. A great restaurant with a view of the sea and the waitress always has a relaxed saying. The food is also recommended. We are in Norddeich about once a month and it goes without saying that a stop at the guest's house is just for a coffee.

As always, packed with beautiful sunshine. Had to wait a bit for service, but there were only two of us. In the evenings we often sat there and played games and drank delicious beers. Unfortunately they now close at 8pm due to a lack of staff. But we'll be back next year.

I recently visited the guest's house in Norddeich and was completely thrilled! A wonderful evening in the guest's house in Norddeich! Our waiter Toni made the evening absolutely unforgettable - super friendly, always in a good mood and simply wonderfully personable. He served us with a smile and made sure we didn't lack for anything. Toni always had a relaxed saying on her lips and rounded off the mood perfectly. It was a fun evening with some drinks and lots of laughs. Big compliments to the entire team and especially to Toni – we'll be happy to come back here!

The shop closes at 8 p.m. and throws the guests out before the end of the game, even though sky is advertised. Orders will only be taken half an hour before closing time. The location is wonderful, you have a wonderful view of the North Sea, the food and drinks are good. During the season there is live music twice a week, special sports highlights and the Bundesliga conference are broadcast. My next visit here is definitely planned!! The negative reviews from the staff here are really unfair. Everyone can't do more than work. Some guests are simply rude on site and should think about their own tone.

Went there for a small snack. Two fried fish with rolls and one chicken nuggets with roll. Everything was freshly prepared. The fried fish was two fish fillets in batter, with rolls and sauce. 8.90 euros each. We all got well fed. The only thing that didn't work was ordering and delivering the drinks. One waiter seemed quite overworked. Otherwise very good and we will definitely come back again.

The service was totally unfriendly and when we asked after waiting 10 minutes whether we could order, she told us to just wait another 10 minutes. Then she just ran away and laughed.
