The food was really delicious, thank you very much! It's a shame that the restaurant is on a busy street. The noise level was a bit disturbing. Luckily the service was very attentive and friendly. Fortunately, the waiting time was also limited. All in all a lovely evening!

Wir haben im Rahmen unseres Hotelaufenthaltes im Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und waren enttäuscht von der Qualität der Speisen. Zunächst war es nicht, wie im Internet beschrieben, ein a la Cart Restaurant, sondern es gab Buffet. Kann man akzeptieren. Leider erinnerte uns das Essen eher an ein Kantinenessen. Es gab Gulasch, und Makrelenfilet und Rote-Beete-Bällchen, die geschmacklich wenig mit dem Wort „Genuss“ gemein hatten. Die Kellner waren sehr nett, konnten die Beschwerden der anderen Gäste aber auch nicht besänftigen. Wir können das Essen nicht empfehlen. Es entspricht nicht dem Preisleistungsverhältnis. Schade, dass die „Genussarchitekten“ nicht halten können, was der Name verspricht.

Also worth mentioning is the hotel bar, where you can get excellently prepared cocktails, wines and other spirits at fair prices, even as a non-hotel guest. Very friendly and qualified bartender...... Definitely again soon!!!!

Wir machten den Fehler Fisch zu bestellen. Frische keine Spur, Fisch war hart und fest, vmtl. in der Mikrowelle wieder aufgewärmt. Das schlechteste Fischgericht was wir seit langem serviert bekommen haben! Die Begrüßung war freundliche, das Ambiente ansprechend, leider das Essen nicht empfehlenswert: mehr Schein als sein.

The disadvantage of such niches is that nobody has an eye for it and only goes there when they have to go there! 30 minutes until the order was taken, another 10 minutes until the Alster arrived. Another 15 minutes until the food came. After the meal, which was really very good, it took another 15 minutes to be able to pay. Nobody came to offer another drink, we couldn't order one...no one came over. There was a woman who took orders and one who brought the orders. The latter walked around with blinders on and unfortunately wasn't interested in the guests. We are typically not sparing with tipping when it is appropriate. The service didn't get any today.

We visited the Bräustüb'l today, the atmosphere was definitely good and the waiters were friendly and helpful. There were actually only long waiting times for the menu, otherwise drinks and food arrived quickly (although the latter was probably due to the fact that almost everything was convenience. At least the dumplings and red cabbage tasted very similar (I always have the taste of the red cabbage in my mouth hours later). The meat (roast roast), on the other hand, was very tasty and also recommended.

I've been going to the thermal baths for 30 years, but I haven't been there for a long time and was actually thinking more about the food from the old "coffee/snack bar"... Well, my expectations were far exceeded! The food was really good, everything was cooked to perfection and the cuisine was really fresh! There's no trickery with the sauce either, the kitchen does everything right! ❤️ No 5 stars for the ambience because it's simply due to the circumstances. But if you consider that it is in the entrance area of ​​the thermal baths and that you get great food and great service here, you can easily ignore it. And above all, the prices are absolutely fair, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. We'd love to come back!

The very interesting grilled meat dishes (rib eye steak, ...) are available from 6:00 p.m. At lunchtime the menu is a little reduced but still good. Unfortunately there is no gluten-free dessert available anymore. Any time.

We came here spontaneously this evening. Were warmly welcomed and served. We had as a starter The Ajoli with baguette was super delicious. The garlic taste was perfect. Then there was schnitzel as the main course. Once baked with jalapenos and cheese. Very tasty, but a little tip: just say that the schnitzel has a really good heat.🥵🥵 Then the one with tomato mozzarella and mushrooms. All of them were super tasty and filling. So full that we were able to have the leftovers packed up without any problem.

So in short: we were absolutely thrilled! We booked a spontaneous overnight stay at the hotel and our expectations were far exceeded. The room or apartment was bright and friendly furnished, with special and nice decorative elements typical of the Harz region. Top! Everything was perfectly clean and overall made a high-quality and well-kept impression. And there was always absolute peace in the house for the best relaxation. Another highlight was breakfast the next morning. We spontaneously decided on a delicious breakfast, which was absolutely unbeatable in terms of value for money. Very courteous service, our every wish was read from our lips and always refilled without being asked if we needed anything else, from rolls to cold cuts, various egg variations, coffee or tea and of course there was also orange juice or sparkling wine, so we were ultimately happy and full and above all very satisfied. A special thank you to Manu and Bettina, they both provided perfect service. Where else can you find such friendly and service-oriented staff these days? A little tip: in Plumbohms of course. It was really great, we will definitely come back and can absolutely recommend the hotel and gastronomy. Keep it up!
