Sadly, haven’t been here for a while as the Schnitzels especially with the sauce is fantastic. The price is decent and the variety of Schnitzel sauces are great. If you come in a group with more than 10, you get a reduced menu so that it is guaranteed that all get their food at the same time. Kids always get the food first. I definitely would come again.

Delicious food at very fair prices

The table for two was ordered for 7 p.m. on Sunday, but unfortunately one of us had to sit with our back to the open entrance area. An unpleasant situation. We were politely seated, but then nothing happened for 20 minutes before the menu and wine list were presented. Drinks were taken at the next table but we were ignored. It took at least 30 minutes for drinks and food to be consumed at the same time. The drinks came relatively quickly, but the food wasn't served until 8:45 p.m. Unfortunately, we didn't ask if we wanted more drinks or even a dessert. The room was initially full and the volume was correspondingly high. Conversation at the table at normal volume is impossible. Overall, a somewhat disappointing first visit to the oil mill.

The restaurant is closed until further notice due to a bereavement. There will be a new tenant soon (summer 2024) and a new restaurant will then open. The renovation work is already well underway! A new tenant is here! The place is now called Wheelers and is open!

Palate horror! It has become incredibly difficult to find a good, affordable pizza for delivery in Hattersheim. Pizza had nothing to do with pizza. You could order fries with ketchup, but if I had known that it would be slapped on the fries and then delivered, I would have skipped it. Salad consisted mostly of cheap iceberg lettuce, the olives tasted old and rancid, the dressing was an oil and vinegar mixture that was simply horrible. Conclusion: €50 for trash.

It is a nice, spacious hall and elegantly decorated, but it would be much better if the meat dish served was not overcooked, greasy and hard. More attention should be paid to the food part.
