Today was still “Oktoberfest” and there was a small menu. The food was delicious, unfortunately some dishes were already sold out. If we stop by again while passing through, we look forward to cheese spaetzle.

We always have a small and cozy meal there before the flight.

The food is really nothing great, the usual quick warm-up story. Only the salads seem to be homemade and are good. You can sit outside, not far from the water. This is really nice and relaxing.

I am revising my old rating! New tenants/owners. We were there twice, unfortunately neither the quantity nor the quality of the preparation of the food justified the prices quoted. It's clear to me at this point that everyone wants to live, but you have to justify a certain price somehow... And guests who don't come back can't be the target either! It's a shame, we used to love being here!

Very comfortable to sit outside and with a park just around the corner. Super friendly service and child friendly. We really enjoyed the food. We'll be happy to come back if we're passing through again.

On the Main, just outside Frankfurt, a sausage salad that is second to none! World class! Quiet little restaurant with an outdoor area. My recommendation for this summer at home!

Nice rustic location. Directly on the Main cycle path just behind the Eddersheim lock. Small, cozy beer garden and a perfect map for cyclists or walkers. Attentive and nice service. The highlight for me - the bread fries with hand cheese sauce...!!!

Spontaneous visit as part of a motorcycle tour. Very friendly staff and we really enjoyed the food. Just the right hand cheese with good bread and lots of butter. Gladly again!

Unfriendly and cold hospitality....Man has the impression that it would be better to leave after 9:15 p.m....because they want to close...it's a real shame...it used to always be a great place to go after an evening bike ride...

Very tasty food, very nice service and there is also an extra menu and something to paint for children. When the weather is nice you can sit outside and when it rains there is enough space inside. We'll definitely be back!

Great service with, for us, excellent home-style cuisine. The whole thing with a traditional Hessian touch and a nice beer garden and view of the Main make it possible to ignore the difficult parking situation. In my opinion, the price/performance ratio is correct and reflects the quality of our food. Great place to visit and we would love to come back.

Very nice location with friendly and attentive service. The atmosphere is very quaint and cozy. The food was very good, especially the fries are recommended as a side dish. We had 7 different dishes and we all enjoyed it very much, without exception. We also felt full with the large portions.

It's nice to sit outside, hand cheese salad was delicious, sausage salad too, but 4 half slices of bread for 2 sausage salad and hand cheese salad were a bit small, not exactly cheap for the small hand cheese salad 9.50. But it tasted good.

Gladly 5 stars because the food is delicious and the service is great. You can sit nicely outside. There should be something on the menu for every taste. Fans of hand cheese can look forward to some interesting variations. A little tip: have some fruit (loquat) after your meal.

There is a cozy atmosphere here, which contributes to a pleasant dining environment. **Service:** The service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The orders were taken promptly and the food was served quickly. **Taste:** The rump steak was excellently prepared. It was perfectly grilled to the desired doneness (medium-rare) and had a nice crust that made for a great taste experience. **Quality:** The quality of the meat was remarkable. The steak was tender, juicy and flavorful. You could tell that emphasis is placed on high-quality ingredients here. **Value for money:** For the quality and taste of the dish, the price was absolutely justified. It was an all-round successful dining experience that I can only recommend to every steak lover. I will definitely come back!

Finding this restaurant was a real pleasure. It felt welcoming, authentic and inviting from the moment we laid sight on its facade and outside beer garden. The indoor restaurant with the bar was comfortable clean and the service by waitress, Nina was exceptional. The food served is fresh, authentically made, large portions and tastes delicious! 5 STAR recommendation.

Great and beautifully located restaurant right next to the Main. The rustic furnishings ensure that you immediately feel welcome. The service staff was also very courteous, nice and very quick, even though the restaurant was busy! The steak we ordered also tasted excellent and was prepared as requested! All in all, a great restaurant with great value for money! We will definitely come back! Best regards to the Mönchhof team

The nicest service I have ever experienced. I had schnitzel with asparagus and potatoes and a side salad. The salad was good, I was just missing a little caramelized grains. Asparagus with schnitzel was very good, but the schnitzel was far too little. Well-intentioned 4.5 stars rounded up to 5

We recently celebrated my husband's "round" birthday at the Mönchhof and are completely satisfied. We really liked the rustic atmosphere - the buffet was very good and the friendly waitress Jaqueline was great and accommodating. Thank you :-) We would love to come back...

Good food at a fair price. The waitresses are friendly and quick. There was only space left in the beer garden. Everything in the restaurant was fully booked, which usually speaks for its popularity.

Very pleasant atmosphere - food is very tasty - especially schnitzel with hand cheese sauce. Service Jaqueline is very friendly and accommodating - we are always happy when she is there. I can only recommend.

My meatloaf was almost inedible, it tasted as if all the leftover food had been thrown through the grinder and was almost inedible. The salad was also nothing and the landlord was very unfriendly. No parking spaces. He'll never see us again

Schnitzel hessisch und Hähnchen mit Koriander gegessen. Beides sehr lecker und reichlich. Freundliche Bedienung brachte mir ein 0,3 Dunkles aufs Haus da da Fass gerade leer war. Und das 0,5er war gut eingeschänkt. Waren auf der Durchreise. Lokal war gut besucht. Essen kam zügig. Gemütlich eingerichtet und Service auf Zack.

Wir waren gestern nach einiger Zeit mal wieder im Mönchhof in Eddersheim und ium es vorweg zu nehmen, es war sehr gut! Sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung, eine Speisekarte die auch mal etwas anderes bietet und die Qualität sowie der Geschmack des essen wirklich sehr gut. Eine echte Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne öfter vorbei. :-)

Ein nettes Verweilen im Biergarten, wo so manches Mal eine Walnuss vom Baum fällt, die man dann karamellisiert im Salat mit Entenbrust und Kürbis wiederfindet. Ich freu mich auf die nächste liebevolle Kreation nebst Schnitzel und Co. Und vielleicht gibt es weitere freundliche Menschen, die dieses motivierte Team unterstützen, damit der Mönchhof auch tagsüber Gäste willkommen heißen kann. 🙂

Die Fotos sollten überarbeitet werden, denn seit circa zwei Monaten ist in diesem Restaurant ein neuer Besitzer und das Essen ist jetzt etwas hochwertiger, dementsprechend auch teurer Essen schmeckt sehr gut, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt noch nicht so ganz, bei den Preisen sollte es wenigstens einen Beilagensalat zu den Hauptspeisen geben. Gruß aus der Küche wäre auch nett, gibt es in Restaurants mit günstigeren Preisen schon. Personal ist super Der Aperol Spritz war jetzt nicht so ansehnlich, viel zu kleines Glas Eiswürfel sind schon geschmolzen und einer Zitrone anstatt einer orange

Im schicken Biergarten unter reifen Weintrauben die zum anbeißen aussahen😍 waren wir heute zu Besuch bei der neuen Mönchhof Crew! Alle waren sehr zufrieden mit ihrem Essen. Der Service war flott und das Essen kam auch zügig. Rundherum gelungen. Unsere Empfehlung habt ihr sicher. 👍🏻 Wir kommen wieder.

Rustikales Lokal an der Eddersheimer Staustufe mit überwiegend lokaler Küche, gibt aber auch argentinischen Rumpsteak, das ich bei einem Besuch letztem Winter sehr genossen hatte.

Tolles Ambiente, mega netter Cheff und super nette Bedienung. Essen: von der Vorspeise bis zum Desert top👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Wirklich empfehlenswert. Wir kommen wieder😃☺️

Flotte freundliche Bedienung, gemütliches Weingarten-/Biergarten-Ambiente am Haus. Im Uferbereich unweit der Eddersheimer Staustufe gelegen. Nach Besitzerwechsel vor kurzem derzeit testweise noch etwas eingeschränktes Speiseangebot, das uns geschmacklich nicht ganz überzeugen konnte.

Toll, dass der Mönchhof wieder geöffnet ist. Essen sehr gut. Ein super zuvorkommender und aufmerksamer Service.

Man fühlt sich wie Daheim! :-) Wir waren eine Nacht im nahegelegenen Hotel, bevor der Abflug in unseren Urlaub ging. Über Google sind wir dann auf den Mönchshof aufmerksam geworden, wo wir auf einen Samstagabend spontan einen Platz bekamen und von zwei netten Jungs bedient wurden. Das Schnitzel „Elsässer Art“, welches man auch mit einem Hähnchenschnitzel bestellen kann, ist ein Traum, sodass wir sogar im Urlaub noch davon schwärmten. :D Auch bei unserer Rückkehr haben wir nochmal einen Abstecher im Mönchshof gemacht, wo wir sehr zuvorkommend von einer sehr nette Dame bedient wurden! Unsere absolute Empfehlung zum Nachtisch! Mapiru - Marzipan-Pistanzie-Rum-Likör :-) Ganz lieben Dank nochmal! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

When my wife and I go on a bike tour and we are near the Moechhof we never miss the chance to dine here. They have a menu that is for everyone and do you know what it's delicious. A visit here is a must, you won't regret it.
