Wir haben im Restaurant (nicht exklusiv) unser Famielenessen nach der Hichzeit verbracht und es war ausgezeichnet! Hervorragendes Essen, sehr zuvorkommender Service der sehr gut mit denkt auch bei Allergien, Unverträglichkeiten etc. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und der Preis vollkommen in Ordnung für die gute Qualität, wir können uns nur herzlich beim Ölmühlen Team für alles Bedanken!

Wir haben in der Ölmühle unsere standesamtliche Trauung gefeiert. Bereits in der Planung wurden wir gut unterstützt, konnten Wünsche äußern und unser eigenes, ganz persönliches Menü zusammenstellen. Allgemein war das Team sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam, sowohl vor während und nach unserer Feier. Das Grillbuffet war fantastisch, außergewöhnlich und wurde von allen Gästen gelobt. Die Getränke und der Service waren auch toll. Wir hatten viele Kinder dabei, die sehr willkommen waren. Sie konnten auf dem angrenzenden kleinen Spielplatz spielen. All in all eine tolle Location zum Feiern, wir hätten uns unseren großen Tag nicht besser vorstellen können. Vielen Dank 😊

Wir haben die Taufe unserer Tochter hier gefeiert. Die Besprechung im Vorfeld war stets freundlich und unkompliziert. Bei der Feier selber wurden wir freundlich empfangen und bedient. Beim Essen wurde eine vorher besprochene Änderung nicht übernommen, was von dem Servicepersonal und der Küche aber netterweise kurzfristig unkompliziert geändert wurde. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Unsere Gäste und wir waren sehr zufrieden und wir kommen sicher wieder.

Ich war mit meiner Familie dort und hatte mich auf die Gans gefreut. Leider hatte ich die zäheste Gänsekeule meines Lebens bekommen. Auf meine Reklamation hin wurde mir ein Espresso oder ein kostenloser Nachtisch angeboten, worauf ich aber nach diesem Erlebnis keine Lust mehr hatte. Auf die Idee, eines der Getränke von der Rechnung zu nehmen kam niemand. Am Ende hatte ich den vollen Preis zu zahlen. € 44,50 für diese Erfahrung war eindeutig zu viel. Ich werde dieses Restaurant erstmal meiden. Insgesamt € 140 für die Tonne. Wenn der Koch wissen möchte, wie eine gut zubereitete Gans/Gänsekeule sein muss, kann er das Restaurant Spechtshaardt in der Nähe von Aschaffenburg besuchen. Dort werde ich am 22.11. sein und dieses Erlebnis hoffentlich vergessen. Edit 25.04.26: Wir waren nun insgesamt viermal hier essen und mein Eindruck ist durchwachsen. Wenn ich essen gehe, möchte ich nicht schlechter essen, als zuhause. Das ist hier leider nicht gegeben. Von 4 Besuchen waren 2 OK und 2 eine Enttäuschung. Mein letztes Erlebnis war der Spargel. Die erste Hollandaise war kalt. Auf Reklamation kam dann noch zweimal eine lauwarme Hollandaise. Bei der vierten Hollandaise kam ein ernst dreinblickender älterer Herr mit einer neuen Hollandaise und hielt mir einen Vortrag über die Zubereitung einer frischen Hollandaise. Die wird bei ca. 50-55 Grad zubereitet - das ist von den lauwarmen Variationen, die mir serviert wurden, weit entfernt. Jedenfalls, so sein Schlusssatz, gibt er mir jetzt eine Hollandaise aus der Packung, die man wärmer servieren könne. Komisch nur, dass die auch wieder nur lauwarm war und meinen inzwischen kalten Spargel auch nicht genießbarer machte. Ich habe meine Telefonnummer hinterlassen, weil ich Frau Horn das Feedback gerne persönlich gegeben hätte. Leider hat sie mich nicht kontaktiert und jetzt lege ich auch keinen Wert mehr darauf. Wenn man sich vor jedem Besuch fragen muss, ob diesmal wieder was schief geht, dann bleibt nur eine Option: Dieses Restaurant nie wieder zu betreten.

Die Feier in der Hattersheimer Ölmühle anlässlich einer standesamtlichen Hochzeit war einfach rundum gelungen! Schon beim Ankommen spürt man die besondere Atmosphäre dieses liebevoll gestalteten Ortes. Das Ambiente ist stilvoll und gleichzeitig angenehm entspannt – perfekt, um einen besonderen Moment zu genießen. Das gesamte Team war durchweg aufmerksam, herzlich und professionell. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Organisation: alles lief reibungslos, ohne Hektik, und dennoch mit einer spürbaren Leidenschaft fürs Detail. Das Essen war ein absolutes Highlight – frisch, kreativ und geschmacklich hervorragend abgestimmt. Jeder Gang war ein Genuss und zeigte die hohe Qualität der Küche. Auch die Getränkeauswahl ließ keine Wünsche offen. Insgesamt war es eine unvergessliche Feier, die noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Ein großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team der Ölmühle – ich komme sehr gerne wieder und kann das Restaurant dort uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Wir waren mal wieder in der Hattersheimer Ölmühle und haben den schönen Frühlingssamstag im Biergarten genossen. Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker, ist ja gerade Spargelsaison... Letztendlich ist der Nachmittag dann nahtlos in den Abend übergegangen und wir haben den Abend noch mit einem Mispelchen aufs Haus ausklingen lassen. Service wie immer "first class" (Danke Sandra!)

Rinderfilet auf den Punkt, krasse Röstkartoffeln, klasse Salat, tolle Weine UND .... TOP SERVICE von MARY Waren das erste Mal da und nicht das letzte Mal. EMPFEHLUNG

Osterbuffet 2026: Sehr gute Auswahl an Vorspeisen, sensationelle Lammkeule, leckerer Lachs, etwas trockenes Hähnchen. Tolle Käseplatte und leckeres Sorbet. Service wie immer sehr freundlich und bemüht. Ostersonntag, abends, extra Speisekarte für Ostern. Sehr gut gegessen, lecker Lammhüfte mit grünem Bohnen, Kartoffelgratin und eine sehr leckere Soße. Tafelspitz mit Boulliongemüse, Merretichsauce und grüner Sauce. Rindersteak mit Kräuterbutter und Bratkartoffeln ( eigentlich hatten wir Pommes bestellt 😔). Gute Portionsgrösse, tolle Weine. Noch leckere Creme Brulee und Tiramisu danach. Tolles Servicepersonal, Restaurant war voll und blieben trotzdem freundlich und sehr bemüht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder. Vielleicht zum Quick Lunch Mittags oder zu einem der vielen Events (BBQ oder Oktoberfest), freue mich dass das Restaurant so gut angenommen wird.

Wir hatten Osterbrunch an Ostersonntag. Selbstverständlich waren viele Gäste da, große Tische mit Familien, wie es Ostern am schönsten ist. Es hat um 12 angefangen, wir waren ca. 20-25 Minuten später am Buffet, um das lange Astehen zu vermeiden. Am Vorspeisenbüffet war nur noch Blattsalat, Radieschen und Tomaten zu finden, alles andere (was laut Speisekarte hätte vorhanden sein sollen) war aufgebraucht. Es hieß, es wird nachgefüllt, was nach 20 Minuten noch immer nicht geschah. Ok, dann gehen wir halt zur Hauptspeise rüber. Die sich in der Küche befand (meiner Meinung nach keine sehr hygienische Lösung). Da gab es nur noch Lachs, Lamm (nur 3 Scheibchen, weil das auch nicht ausreichte, Gemüsepfanne (aus der die Schupfnudeln schon von den Vorgängern rausgesucht waren), Reis und gedünstetes Gemüse. Die Poularde war alle, die nächste schmorte noch im Ofen. Wir waren wahrscheinlich nicht beharrlich genug, um nach einiger Zeit noch einmal vom Tisch aufzustehen und nachzuschauen, ob die wieder verfügbar war. Bei'm Dessert (Sorbet) das gleiche Prozedere, ich habe den letzten Löffel (IMMERHIN WAS!) Brombeesorbet rausgesucht (die andere Sorte war alle) und haben den zu 4 geteilt. Es war insgesamt eine sehr unangenehme kulinarische Erfahrung. Die Qualität der (wenig vorhandenen) Speisen und die Menü zusammenstellung war gut aber die Organisation des Buffets war höchst unzufriedenstellend. Wir sind enttäuscht und halb hungrig weggegangen. Das schöne Ambiente und die nette Bedienung konnten den Mangel an ausreichend vorhandenen Speisen leider nicht kompensieren

Wir waren am Wochenende in der Hattersheimer Ölmühle essen und rundum begeistert. Schon beim Empfang wurden wir freundlich begrüßt und zu einem schönen Tisch begleitet. Der Service durch Jelena war persönlich, aufmerksam und gleichzeitig angenehm unaufdringlich. Wir wurden auf die Tagesempfehlungen hingewiesen und haben eine sehr passende Weinempfehlung erhalten. Das Wiener Schnitzel war außerordentlich gut – perfekt souffliert, wie es sein sollte. Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungener Abend und wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Absolute Empfehlung, super schönes Ambiente, extrem guter Service und das Essen unglaublich gut. Wir hatten zwar eine etwas länger Wartezeit bis das Essen serviert wurde, aber dafür hat das Geschmackserlebnis es wieder gut gemacht. Wie kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal hier und sind begeistert. Eine kleine aber feine Karte auf der für jeden etwas dabei ist - zusätzlich gibt es noch eine kleine Karte mit wechselnden Specials. Das Essen war wirklich super lecker, der Service schnell und freundlich und das gesamte Ambiente sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir werden das Restaurant auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen ganz sicher bald wieder. Auch zum draußen sitzen gibt es einen großen Bereich.

Kenne die Ölmühle seit 2023. Leider kann ich sie nicht mehr weiterempfehlen - man weiß einfach nicht, was einen in Küche und Service erwartet. Preise sind teils unverschämt (14€ für ein Glas Primitivo, Flasche kostet 7€).

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal zum Valentinsdinner in der Ölmühle – und sind absolut begeistert. Das Vier-Gänge-Menü war ein echtes Highlight. Unser einziger „Kritikpunkt“: Nach dem vierten Gang war es leider schon vorbei. Mehr hätten wir ohnehin nicht geschafft, denn jede Portion war perfekt abgestimmt und geschmacklich hervorragend. Vom kreativen Amuse-Bouche über das fantastische Tataki vom Thunfisch bis hin zur wunderbar zarten, getrüffelten Maispoulardenbrust und dem grandiosen Dessert – jeder Gang war ein Genuss und mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch das tolle Ambiente. Trotz vieler Gäste im Restaurant konnten wir uns in unserer 8er-Gruppe sehr gut unterhalten und den Abend in entspannter Atmosphäre genießen. Am Ende wurde noch die Dekoration in Form roter Rosen und gasgefüllter Herzballons verteilt, sodass wir uns heute und auch in den nächsten Tagen noch daran erfreuen können. Kurz gesagt: Ein rundum gelungener Abend mit exzellentem Essen und angenehmer Stimmung. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!

Wir waren gestern ganz spontan mit meiner Freundin in der Ölmühle essen. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten und das Restaurant gut besucht war, wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und aufmerksam betreut. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist uns die Servicekraft Mary – ihren Namen haben wir eher zufällig mitbekommen, als eine Kollegin sie etwas fragte. Sie war durchgehend herzlich, ruhig und professionell. Selbst hinten im Restaurant, wo eine größere Familienfeier stattfand, ließ sie sich nicht aus der Ruhe bringen. Das Essen war sehr lecker, liebevoll angerichtet und auf unsere Extrawünsche wurde ohne Probleme eingegangen. Außerdem wurden wir super beraten, was die Auswahl angeht. Für uns alles Gründe wiederzukommen.Danke für diesen schönen Abend.

Wir waren am gestrigen Samstag (7. Februar) eine große Gruppe von 11 Personen in diesem Restaurant. Alle waren wir hochzufrieden, es hat einfach alles gestimmt - die Bedienung, das Essen, die Getränke, es war alles top. Ein besonders großes Lob möchten wir gegenüber der Kellnerin Meri und ihrer Kollegin aussprechen. Die beiden machen einen hervorragenden Job. Den Besuch in diesem Lokal können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in der Ölmühle zum Essen. Wir waren begeistert von der Qualität und der Präsentation der Speisen. Zudrm hat uns die Servicekraft „Jelenka“ hervorragend betreut und bedient. Mit ihrer natürlich freundlichen Art hat sie dem Abendessen die „Kirsche auf die Torte“ gesetzt. Wir freuen uns auf‘s nächste Mal!

Wir waren heute mit der Familie zum Geburtstagsessen da und ich kann dieses Lokal nur wärmstens empfehlen. Mir persönlich hat die Atmosphäre und Aufmachung sehr gefallen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Man arbeitet hier merklich mit gut geschultem Personal, was neben dem guten Essen, zusätzlich auf der Service Seite das sehr gute Bild abrundet.

2025 habe ich eine Hochzeit in der Hattersheimer Ölmühle fotografiert und war begeistert davon. Das Ambiente, die Organisation, das Essen und das Ganze drum herum waren einfach top. Das Team leistet einen hervorragenden Job! Man fühlt sich hier sehr willkommen und gut aufgehoben.

Alles ist gut, aber die Gerichte könnten noch etwas Feinschliff vertragen. In einem Restaurant ist jedoch das Wichtigste, dass alles gut schmeckt, nicht nur schön aussieht.

Wir waren am Sonntag spontan zum Mittagstisch in der Ölmühle, obwohl das Restaurant nahezu leer war, war nicht sicher, ob wir einen Tisch bekommen würden … 😂 Wir hatten den gebeizten Lachs, einen kleinen Ölmühlen-Salat und ein Steinpilzrisotto. Das Essen war fantastisch, sehr gut und sehr ansprechend dekoriert. Die Geschwindigkeit der Zubereitung war auch sehr schnell. Das Ambiente ist innen sehr schön außen im Sommer ebenfalls im Innenhof. Sehr schön und etwas Wind geschützt. Der Service ist gut und aufmerksam. Zusammen mit Wasser, Schorle, Latte Macchiato und Espresso haben wir 63,70 € bezahlt. Preis der Speisen ist angemessen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 🙋🏼

Hohe Qualität, sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, zuvorkommender Service und eine gemütliche Einrichtung mit angenehmer Beleuchtung. Vielleicht die beste Adresse in ganz Hattersheim, wenn man sich kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen möchte.

The visit to the restaurant began disappointingly, as the food was served lukewarm to cold. This is unacceptable for a restaurant in this price range. However, the main problem was the disastrous service. The staff was utterly incompetent; our table was completely ignored after we ordered our food. Although I wanted to order another bottle of wine, we weren't given the opportunity. This wasn't a minor oversight, but a complete service failure on every level. Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend your restaurant, nor would I consider visiting again. Sincerely,

We were there for the first time yesterday and will definitely be back. We received a very warm welcome. The food was excellent, and the service was very attentive, courteous, and unobtrusive. The minor inconsistency that did occur was more than made up for. A special thank you to Jelena and Abi. They, along with all the other positive aspects, are a reason for us to definitely return.

Last night, a colleague and I had dinner at the Öhlmühle restaurant in Hattersheim. It was our first visit, and we were thrilled. From the ambiance, which created a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere, to the incredibly friendly service, to the delicious food... everything was perfect. The price-performance ratio is absolutely justified. We will definitely be back.

We went there for a pleasant evening with 20 people to celebrate a birthday. The menu is concise, which is a good thing, as it allowed each dish to be prepared and presented with care. It also made it possible to serve all the dishes simultaneously. The service was always attentive and very friendly. It was a wonderful evening, and we're already planning our next visit.

The ambiance is chic, but everything else is just okay. Yes, everything has gotten more expensive, but the prices are really outrageous for the food. After the main course, you're not asked if you want anything else, only if you enjoyed your meal. You're simply ignored. The main thing is getting new customers to order something.

I visited the restaurant last week and was rather disappointed overall. It was extremely loud, like being right next to a train station. A pleasant conversation was almost impossible. I was particularly struck by an older waitress who spoke with a very loud voice. Because of the noise, it was impossible to really enjoy the experience. (What a shame.)

We celebrated our civil wedding at the Ölmühle – and it was simply perfect! From the initial planning meeting to the big day, everything was exceptionally well-organized. The team went above and beyond, catered to all our individual requests, and provided us with warm and professional support throughout. The menu was custom-designed to our specifications and delighted not only us but all our guests – the food was simply fantastic! The braised ox cheeks melted in our mouths. It was also a lovely touch that the menu was designed to match our invitations – a thoughtful detail that made the day even more special. The service was warm and attentive. The Ölmühle's ambiance is beautiful and provided the perfect cozy setting for our celebration. The value for money was also absolutely convincing. We wholeheartedly recommend the Ölmühle and would choose it again in a heartbeat!

I had high expectations based on the many positive reviews – unfortunately, I was disappointed. While the ambiance was sophisticated, the service was absolutely terrible. It's a shame; perhaps I was just unlucky that evening, but for me, the overall impression simply didn't match the many glowing reviews. Under these circumstances, a return visit is rather unlikely.

Hello dear Ölmühlen team, My girlfriend and I had dinner at the "Lights Out and Candles On" event on Monday, November 17, 2025. The atmosphere was very beautiful and romantic thanks to the many lovely candles. We had a perfect table to ourselves and enjoyed a wonderful evening. The food was excellent; I highly recommend the pumpkin soup, and the beef fillet was also delicious and cooked to perfection. Many thanks to the kitchen for the wonderful meal. The service was very friendly, and we were very well looked after. I would definitely take my girlfriend to this excellent restaurant again. Thank you very much.

A warm smile, a friendly welcome, and attentive, helpful service were already a good sign for a successful evening. Adding to the charm, the ambiance of the historic walls, with the lights dimmed and candles lit, simply invited conviviality. The white wine was excellent, and the aperitif (also available as a non-alcoholic option for the designated driver) whetted our appetites for a delicious meal. We were not disappointed! The appetizer was divine and warmed us from the inside out. The main course was cooked to perfection, and the herb butter was simply divine. There was also plenty to satisfy those with a sweet tooth! So, anyone who leaves here hungry and says they didn't find anything they liked has only themselves to blame! Thank you for a wonderful evening by candlelight on these cold days. When my wife, our nine-month-old son, and I decided to pay the Ölmühle an unannounced visit—especially on an evening when a candlelight event was taking place—we secretly expected a polite refusal. But what happened next was emblematic of what makes this establishment so special: genuine hospitality. Despite the restaurant being full, they not only found a table for us but welcomed us with a warmth that has become rare in the restaurant industry. Family-friendliness, in particular, is not something you can take for granted everywhere—but here, it's truly lived. The menu, as well as the interior design, bears a clear signature: well-thought-out, harmonious, and stylish, without ever seeming contrived. You can tell that someone has created this space with passion. The personal highlight, however, is the service. It's these subtle, often understated gestures—a thoughtful glance, a personal word, unobtrusive care—that make an evening not just pleasant, but truly memorable. We felt completely pampered without it ever becoming intrusive. The cuisine was outstanding across the board. My steak was cooked to perfection. My wife's porcini risotto was creamy, aromatic, and elegantly composed. For us, the Ölmühle is undoubtedly the best restaurant in Hattersheim and the surrounding area—a place that demonstrates how successful gastronomy can be when quality, heart, and professionalism come together.

The food was truly excellent and impressive, but unfortunately, the rest of the experience was very disappointing. The service was unfriendly and inattentive, making the entire visit unpleasant. It's a shame, because the food really deserved a better rating. Hopefully, the service will improve in the future, and then the restaurant could truly impress. It's very disappointing that we took so much time and were served as if we were at a fast-food joint.

We celebrated our Halloween wedding here, and I have to say, everything was perfect. We already knew from past experiences, having eaten here several times, that we were always very satisfied. But the food at the wedding far exceeded all our expectations. The staff were all incredibly motivated and lovely. They all gave their best, and we were so pleased. We were guests at this restaurant for my grandmother's 90th birthday. The reservation was made months in advance (in person after a tasting, NOT by phone!), invitations were designed and even sent to Spain so that relatives living there could travel for this special occasion. It was repeatedly confirmed that all guests (a very manageable number) would be seated at one table – this was my great-grandmother's only wish, as she wanted to spend this special day with her family. The disappointment was all the greater when, just two hours before the celebration was to begin, my parents received word that the guests would have to be split between two tables because they had also accepted a larger party. My 90-year-old great-grandmother was so upset that she burst into tears in front of her grandchildren. It was a very painful moment for us, especially since everything had been lovingly planned up to that point. Such a last-minute change to a long-planned event is simply unprofessional. The previously arranged champagne reception also did not take place as planned. Upon request, guests were offered a glass of sparkling wine, but there was no real welcome. The service staff seemed overwhelmed – the younger waitress was friendly but clearly stressed, while the older server was curt and irritable. In a restaurant of this price range, one expects more warmth and attentiveness. Since there were small children present, I asked if they could have some bread or their food brought to them beforehand – something that is standard practice in many restaurants. Only after a considerable wait (due to a club event in the next room) did the food arrive – mine was completely forgotten. The young waitress was certainly not to blame, but it contributed to the overall disorganization of the evening. The food itself was a mixed bag: While some dishes were acceptable, my brother's dish was disappointing in terms of taste and not worth the price. Although the staff acknowledged the problem, we were still charged the full price – the dessert platter offered as an apology was a nice gesture, but it didn't make up for the difference in cost. We will not be visiting this restaurant again and cannot recommend it. It's a shame – with a little organization, appreciation, and attention to detail, so much more could have been possible.

No! I'm not writing a review. Just a quick note: the impression from my first visit was completely confirmed by my third. In both my life and my wife's, we agree we've never had such poorly prepared food. I'm not talking about the quality of the ingredients; it's impossible to judge due to the abysmal preparation. The ambiance is fantastic 👍 I'm really hoping that someday, with some far-sighted management, the kitchen will be turned around, or that the entire place will experience a revival with willing staff.

We had a wonderful evening at the oil mill. The food was of very high quality and tasted excellent. The service was very attentive and courteous. We had our 87-year-old mother with us, who felt very comfortable and enjoyed the friendly conversation with the server. We immediately reserved a table for the Spanish tapas evening because we felt so at ease. Keep up the good work; you make your guests happy!

The board of the Hattersheim Gymnastics Club 1883 e.V. would like to thank everyone involved for the excellently organized "TVH Thank You Dinner 2025" event, which was planned by Ms. Scherf (Event Manager) and executed by the service team of the Hattersheim Oil Mill. The service team was very attentive and courteous and performed their duties to our complete satisfaction.

Beautiful location. However, the ambiance is far superior to the food, especially in terms of price and service. Staff are unfortunately unfriendly and unmotivated, and the food (as I said, especially considering the price/performance ratio) is nothing special. A tip for the restaurant: ask your grandma how they make the potato salad... Potato salad with cucumber is neither tasty nor fancy; it just doesn't work. The portion is sufficient for someone who doesn't eat much, but one portion won't satisfy a huge hunger—not to mention that the potato and cucumber salad was three times as large as the actual schnitzel/cordon bleu.

Disappointing evening for a 90th birthday. We had reserved a table for 16-20 people months in advance for our mother's/grandmother's/great-grandmother's 90th birthday, and we were guaranteed it. Unfortunately, this day didn't turn out to be the festive event we had hoped for. About two hours before the party was to begin, we received a call informing us that we had been moved to two tables. This led to great disappointment and tears for our birthday girl, who had wished to celebrate at one table with all the guests. One guest didn't receive a main course because it had been forgotten. Since she was there with a small child, she couldn't wait any longer and went home without one. Another guest received a steak that had no roasted aromas and was disappointing in terms of taste. Unacceptable for the price. A nice dessert plate was served free of charge as an apology. Conclusion: Such a significant event deserves attention and organization, which was unfortunately lacking on this evening. We hope this feedback will contribute to improvements so that other guests don't have to experience similar things.

We are unfortunately more than disappointed with our visit four weeks ago. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the food was much better a long time ago than it was four weeks ago, but our evening was completely ruined by the extremely rude waitress. Even upon greeting us, she seemed disinterested and annoyed. When we asked about the menu, we received curt replies. Taking our order seemed to be a casual duty for the elderly waitress; I have never seen a person serve in sandals, let alone one with well-groomed feet. The absolute height of rudeness was the way she brought us our drinks and food. She practically slammed our glasses and plates down on the table without saying a word. When a member of staff asked us if everything was OK, she simply responded with an annoyed "what else?" and turned away without further explanation. We felt unwanted and like a burden throughout the entire meal. Appropriate, well-organized service to guests definitely looks different. For this poor and disrespectful service, we should have been paid to even stay there. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the restaurant in this condition and will not be returning or recommending it to anyone.

After our civil wedding on August 14, 2025, we dined with our guests at the Ölmühle. Even during the planning and coordination phases, the team was very professional and supported us tremendously in making the meal special. On the day itself, our guests had the choice between a 2-course menu (starter and main course or main course and dessert) or a 3-course menu. Each guest could choose their own individual dishes, so vegetarians were also catered for. The ambiance, the food, and the service at the Ölmühle are truly stunning and very attentive, and we can't give anything but 5 stars!

Dear Ölmühl team, we are big fans. However, we have to deduct a star today. The food was great, the ambiance is fantastic. But what was wrong with your service today? The service was very nice, no question, but our starter arrived before we learned that our aperitif (rosé vermouth with tonic) was "sold out." We were then asked to get the drinks menu again so we could order a different aperitif...that didn't happen. After we had almost finished our starter, we asked for our ordered bottle of wine to be served with our meal. Mmmm...then a warm bottle of white wine arrived. The pouring of the wine was also anything but what we're used to from you. From the kitchen, we then heard (we were sitting on the terrace) "...how do you make the sauce again..."? The plates were also cleared away without comment, even though we would have liked to say that it was delicious. Please don't get us wrong, we're huge fans, but today the fun was unfortunately spoiled. We're not blaming the service, but rather, the restaurant management has a duty to explain the process to the staff in detail.

The meat was ordered medium rare and was raw. A complaint was accepted, but without an apology. The head waiter was very arrogant. We received a fruit schnapps with three small flies, but we complained, and it was also taken away without an apology. The service left much to be desired. Our guests were very surprised and disappointed.

I had the opportunity to experience the oil mill at a family celebration. The buffet was very high-quality and varied, and the cuisine is truly impressive. The service was also very friendly, attentive, yet unobtrusive, and pleasant all around. The oil mill is definitely highly recommended for special celebrations; they know exactly what's important. We will of course also try out the regular restaurant service; it's worth the longer journey!
