We really wanted to stop there for dinner, but it was closed.
Unfortunately, the internet showed both.
It was closed on Googlemaps and open on Instagram/fb.
The official website agreed again.
Unfortunately the journey was in vain.
We've heard and read so many good things and hope it works out on our next visit to Frankfurt.
If a customer in a restaurant says 4 times that he has a stomach ache and is forced to order something to drink 4 times (and the customer orders something to get rid of the waiter), you definitely don't bring him a drink with "ice and lemon". Just because it has to look nice and meet the standard. The correct advice would have been: I recommend tea. But you can't think that far!
And then the waiter in the corner has to moan that something like that has never happened to him before. The customer is always king and should be properly advised. And before that, cola was even offered. Definitely with ice cream too. Also totally wrong. He's probably never had a stomach ache.
We were there for dinner. The ambiance and service were very good. The restaurant, both inside and in the courtyard, were very clean.
I had tagliatelle with tiger prawns and aioli sauce. The prawns were super juicy, but the olive oil was too strong for my taste, which overpowered the entire meal.
We came here for dinner. It was very busy but we were lucky to get a table.
We loved the food!
Very reasonably priced
Please note that they only accept cash
We were there for lunch on Easter Sunday. The food is very tasty and the service is very friendly. We had rump steak, Jägerschnitzel and cordon bleu. My wife says that they have the tastiest steaks in Germany anyway... And she's probably not wrong 😅
Fries very hard. Salad was not fresh and the vegetables and salad used for it felt like it was from the day before yesterday. It's a shame but never there again!
Yes, I can recommend this cozy, rustic apple wine bar with typical Hessian cuisine. A half-timbered house, furnished with lots of dark wood, friendly and quick service, even when it's full and of course very good food. Reservation is recommended.
You can also sit outside when the weather is nice. Parking on surrounding streets.
So far we have only had it delivered so we cannot rate the ambience. No matter what we have ordered so far - salad, burgers, schnitzel or pizza - it has always been very tasty. The best thing: the fries, which are usually not that great when delivered, are perfect here. We would be happy to order again.
FAIL because of the comments.. I've never bought such a bad kebab before, unfortunately inedible.. All four kebabs had to be thrown away.. The bread was completely soggy. The meat was raw and cold, tasteless, the sauce was just butter. A very unpleasant smell.. Once and NEVER AGAIN.. I was afraid the kids would get poisoned.. Sorry, but very bad.
