Very tasty, always with pleasure

I had the pleasure of eating at this Syrian restaurant with my family today and I love it! The food was not only delicious, but also plentiful. Of particular note is the excellent service and incredible prices - we never thought we would get so much for so little money. A big thank you to the team for this unforgettable experience. We'll definitely be back!

Were there last Sunday. Really very nice boss and nice service. The food (Shawurma plate) was very tasty, fresh and the service was perfect. The furnishings are a bit outdated, but that doesn't bother us. We'd love to come back.

In a word: delicious!! The welcome was just as much. We were able to enjoy the very pleasant and flowery terrace. Very cold cask beer. Strongly recommended.

We were here on vacation and were guided by the good reviews here. Unfortunately a complete failure. The pizza wasn't fully cooked and extra orders were forgotten. The drinks were stale and completely non-carbonated. The glasses were dirty and even an older lady next door had her drink delivered three times because the glasses were dirty. Absolutely not recommended.

This small snack bar is located in the old town. Shawarma for just under 7 euros is very expensive but everyone has to know for themselves. However, 4 falafels with a little hummus for 9.50 euros is outrageous. The grill plate was also a disappointment, the fries were in the deep fryer for far too long and were therefore relatively hard, and the chicken on the skewer was completely dry. After a comment, the fries were offered to be remade, but the chicken was just shrugged. All in all, nothing more than average.

The falafel and hummus were good, but I didn't particularly like the shawarma roll. The grill plate was probably more of a disappointment.

So never again, it was by far the last thing I ever ate. Lamb pan with not even 10 grams of meat, totally over-seasoned, no thanks. Never again

I ate here for the first time today. Chicken plate tasted extremely good and the owner was very nice and accommodating. There was even a baklava on the house. I'd love to come back here.

Fantastic Syrian food in the heart of the city. Check our pictures. This wrap thing was number 30 and my wife ordered the plate. Both were delicious and some of the best food we’ve had. Highly recommend! The atmosphere was quiet and subdued. They have lots of options on their main menu and they offer take-away.

A small rustic restaurant in a small half-timbered house. We discovered it by accident. Syrian cuisine is very tasty. There are even vegan options. The staff is quick and friendly. And it is very inexpensive. We'd love to come back.

The service was very friendly, the selection of food was great. Everyone will find something they like there. As a starter we had hummus with eggplant, which was really tasty and as a main course I treated myself to the grill plate so I could try everything. Everything was really tasty, well seasoned and I had no complaints. I will definitely go there again.

Wir sind zufällig am Restaurant Damaskus-Tor vorbeigekommen. Da uns die Speisekarte verführt hat, sind wir hier zum Abendessen eingekehrt. Da das Damuskus-Tor auch Tische im Freien hat, setzten wir uns an einen dieser Tische. Das Essen war sehr gut. Dazu hatten wir den kostenlosen Blick auf die Brunnenstraße mit ihren schönen (Fachwerk-)Gebäuden.
