Hemingway Restaurant&Bar in Bad Wildungen

Gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung und leckere Cocktails. Wir wollten im Urlaub jeden Tag in ein anderes Restaurant gehen aber im Hemingway waren wir zweimal.

Super Lage, wunderschöne Terasse (schönste in ganz Bad Wildungen) super nette Bedienung die sich viel Mühe geben.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Leider kam aus der Küche alles andere wie hier in den Bewertungen beschrieben! Haben 20.30h Essen bestellt was auch sehr schnell auf dem Tisch stand, Schweinemedallions in Pilzrahmsoße und Hähnchenschnitzel gegrillt !!! (Das war kein Hähnchen sondern Putenschnitzel)!! Wir haben selber Gastronomie seit 20 Jahren ! Beide Gerichte waren so durch gebraten, Fleisch vertrocknet und ungenießbar!! Den Teller so aus der Küche raus zu geben ist eine Frechheit ! Pilzrahmsoße ein Fertigprodukt aus Eimer, Konsistenz wie Pudding und null Geschmack. Nachdem die Bedingung fragte ob alles ok sei, haben wir dies dann auch gesagt/ gezeigt und der Teller wurde abgeräumt und auch keine Alternative angeboten da es 21.15h war und der ,,Koch,, wohl gern Feierabend machen wollte!!! Gericht wurde nicht berechnet und der Magen blieb leer! Schade bei so einer Lage, dieser Traumhaften Terasse und Ambiente, perfekt für einen Drink oder Snack (Nachos) da kann man nichts falsch machen, Küche absolut nicht zu empfehlen!

Wirklich schön hier ! Das Essen ist absolut mega . Komme wirklich gern hier her und habe immer eine perfekte Bedienung gehabt ❤️

Nix besonderes, Essen OK. Fade Sauce zum Zander. Spinat zum Lachs etwas sehr salzig. Ein junger Mitarbeiter im Service hat es nicht so drauf, haltlose Ausreden und vergessene Beilage nicht nachgeliefert. Sag einfach das es fehlt und bring es nach. Seine Kollegin macht einen richtig guten Job.

Hatten dort einen wundervollen Ausklang eines tollem Tages erlebt. Leckeres Essen und ein Servicepersonal, dass derart auf Zack ist wie man es nur noch äußerst selten in Deutschland erlebt.

Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Preise absolut top. Das Beste....der Service 👍 sehr schnelle Bedienung und.....macht jeden Spaß mit. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Waren heute wiedermal im Hemingway essen. Der Service war Top, wurden perfekt beraten. Essen sehr zu empfehlen. Speisen ist für jeden was dabei. Cocktails waren lecker. Kommen gerne wieder.

Hervorragend, gerne wieder. Essen ist sehr gut, Ambiente ebenso. Preise sind angemessen. Einen Stern muss ich leider abziehen, die Treppe zur Toilette ist sehr steil und da ich aktuell gesundheitlich angeschlagen bin etwas schlecht zu händeln…

Gutes Essen, gute Bedienung, sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis...wir hatten zwei Bier, ein Glas Rosewein, 2 cocktails und haben uns ein Pizza geteilt und dafür auch 2 kleine Tellerchen bekommen ... hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt.. wir kommen gerne wieder

Habe dort zu Abend gegessen das Ambiente ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich der Service ist sehr gut das Service Personal ist super nett und aufmerksam 😎🤗und das angebotene Speisen sind qualitativ Top habe mir das Pilzrahm Schnitzel bestellt 😃 ich habe schon sehr lange kein so tolles Schnitzel mehr gegessen das war auf den Punkt 💪😀👍😎Ein wirklich tolles Lokal nur zu empfehlen

Eigentlich machen mich Restaurants skeptisch, die Burger und Pizza auf der Karte haben, aber das Hemingway zeigt, dass man beides perfekt zubereiten kann. Der Burger und die Pizza waren extrem lecker, der Service sehr freundlich, das Ambiente sehr ansprechend und die Preise in Ordnung. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Sowohl das Steak als auch die Burger und das Bruscetta waren sehr lecker. Da es uns so gut geschmeckt hat und der 🍻-preis okay ist, sind wir an unserem 3. und letzten Tag in Bad W noch einmal hingegangen.

Tolles Ambiente, leckeres Essen und Cocktails, Bedienung sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Können es weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben dort eine Kleinigkeit gegessen und auch etwas getrunken uns hat es sehr gut gefallen wir werden in Zukunft wieder dorthin gehen

Danke für 2 wunderbare Abende in Bad Wildungen! Zweimal dort gewesen – und beide Abende waren richtig gelungen. Vor allem das Personal hat total überzeugt: super freundlich, locker drauf und sehr aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich einfach direkt wohl. Das Essen war sehr lecker, da gibt es absolut nichts zu meckern. Auch die Karte ist vielseitig – es ist für jeden etwas dabei. Zusammen mit der entspannten Atmosphäre ergibt sich ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Sehr gerne wieder!

Absolutes Highlight in Bad Wildungen! ​Wer Wert auf echte Gastfreundschaft legt, kommt an diesem Lokal nicht vorbei. Mai führt das Haus mit einer spürbaren Leidenschaft, und die Bedienung Arzu ist ein absoluter Sonnenschein – so viel Herzlichkeit erlebt man selten! ​Die Speise- und Getränkekarte ist hervorragend sortiert und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Eigentlich sind 5 Sterne hier noch zu wenig. Ein Besuch ist für jeden Bad Wildungen-Gast ein Muss. Alles top!

Super Service und leckeres Essen, nur die Musik war nicht Kubanisch....gerne wieder...

Wir waren gestern mit unseren kleinen Tochter dort essen und waren total zufrieden. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und das Essen sehr lecker. Als Gast fühlt man sich definitiv sehr wohl und wir haben das Lokal auch als kinderfreundlich empfunden.

Zu Stoßzeiten beliebtes Restaurant, Gutes Essen mit angemessener Wartezeit. Freundliches Personal, Gute Auswahl an Gerichten.

Ich war anlässlich meines Geburtstages hier Essen. Die Burger waren phantastisch. Bestes Fleisch vom Metzger aus der Gegend. Perfekt gegrillt. Ich habe lange keine so guten Burger mehr gegessen. Die Preise für sämtliche Speisen und Getränke sind absolut fair. Das gesamte Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich komme sicher wieder!

Wir sind gerade dort. Sehr nette, aufmerksame Bedienungen. Faire Preise und eine Bar in der nicht geraucht wird, denn hier gibt es auch Essen. Eine klare Empfehlung und bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal.

Nette Atmosphäre, sehr gutes Essen, leckere Cocktails zu angemessenen Preisen.

Wir waren hier zum Essen. Sowohl die Burger als auch das Schnitzel waren sehr lecker. Vor allem zu Empfehlen sind die Pommes und Wedges. Es gibt hier auch eine Auswahl an klassischen Cocktails. Wir haben ein paar probiert, diese waren auch sehr gut. Wir wurden schnell und sehr freundlich bedient. Kartenzahlung war kein Problem. Alles in allem ein gutes Erlebnis, wir würden wider kommen.

Heute Abend ging’s für ein kleines „Klassentreffen“ ins Hemingway. Der Service war so zuvorkommen gewesen. Es gab direkt eine Schüssel Wasser für unsere Luna und ein Leckerlie. So nett empfangen zu werden ist nicht selbstverständlich. Ein großes Dankeschön ans Team. Das Essen war schnell am Tisch und sehr lecker. Wir können es nur empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. ☺️

We held our Christmas party here, among other things, and enjoyed a delicious meal and drinks. The owner even prepared a special appetizer platter for us in advance – absolutely delicious! The main courses, which varied for our group of 10, were all fantastic! Everything was fresh and beautifully presented – and the dessert was the perfect finishing touch! A big thank you to the kitchen, the attentive service, and the bar staff for the delicious cocktails. Keep up the great work – we're so glad there's such a wonderful restaurant/venue in Bad Wildungen!

Delicious food and top-notch service under "new" management! We've already eaten there three times. In a group of 10-15 people, we enjoyed a variety of dishes: pizza, pasta, meat dishes, and burgers. We/I were delighted every time. The food was delicious, and the price is reasonable in my opinion. The service is very friendly, fast, and flexible. (Tips are only accepted in cash, not by card.) We first came here after a long time using a coupon book, and we've been thrilled ever since. A great place to eat and drink in Bad Wildungen in a rustic setting.

Highly recommended! A very courteous, welcoming, and cheerful reception and service. We immediately felt like guests. Pleasantly quiet background music. Although officially closed for lunch, they were still serving guests. Lucky us! ;-) We had fantastic fish with delicious fried potatoes, and the sauce was heavenly. Fresh side salad on top. Prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Thank you so much for the wonderful end to our weekend. We'll definitely be back next time!

A fantastic restaurant in Bad Wildungen with delicious rump steak and great burgers. The food is truly excellent, and the service is exceptional. The staff are friendly, attentive, and competent. The owner even checked in with us at the end to see how we enjoyed our meal, and they have a very good selection of gin and rum. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, the food wasn't what one would expect for 7 out of 10 people. No seasoning, dry chicken, 2 out of 3 desserts were missing (on a Saturday!)... Even the friendly service couldn't make up for it. What a pity.

After reading the reviews, we went for dinner. We didn't wait long and got a small table. A vase of wilted flowers sat on the table, which I was quite surprised to see. The service was always very friendly and even had a funny saying ready. Until the food, which took a while, arrived, but only from my husband. He started because it was supposed to be served hot, so I waited. Finally, after half the time he had already eaten, mine arrived. The food was super delicious, but they should have served it so that both of them could eat together. It's a shame that wasn't the case.

Delicious cocktails, tasty burgers, warm and friendly staff. We always enjoy coming back. Update 9/25: I'm always a bit skeptical about a change of operator if I've always been happy before. But I have to say, the new owners are doing a really good job. The food and drinks are super delicious. Everyone is friendly and very service-oriented. Located not far from the city center, it offers surprisingly quiet outdoor seating despite being close to the street. The vegetarian selection is limited, but delicious. Very friendly service!

We've been there several times now and have been completely impressed every time. On our current visit to Bad Wildungen, we tried the entire menu, and what can I say: everything was simply delicious! From the appetizers to the dessert, every dish was lovingly prepared and tasted amazing. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance is cozy but not overly overstated, making you feel immediately at home. We will definitely be back regularly. Absolutely recommend it!

Delicious food and friendly service at a good price!

I ordered fish with spinach. A big, fat bluebottle crawled out from under the spinach. I called the waiter, took the plate, and said it would take a while because it was being remade. But no apology. It can happen anywhere, no big deal. I could only eat the fish; the rest went back.

This is not my first time visiting this restaurant. Overall, I give it a 4 because I give the burgers a 3: they weren't particularly surprising and were a bit dry. But the fries are delicious, crispy and well-seasoned. But I give the cocktails and service a solid 5! The cocktails are always delicious and high-quality, and the staff is friendly, attentive and welcoming. The overall atmosphere in the establishment is very pleasant, so I come back here again.

We got a table right away. The waitress was very friendly and immediately offered us a blanket because we wanted to sit outside. I haven't had such a good salad in a long time! The schnitzel was also good, although the mushroom sauce could have used more mushrooms and less cream. Overall, though, a very good restaurant and highly recommended!

We were tourists in BW for 3 days and ate at Hemingway on both evenings, there was the famous repeat factor. The food was very tasty, the friendly lady who served us was great and it was quick too. We had a lovely time sitting outside. We would love to come back, really great. Keep it up!!

The ambience is unbeatable, offering everything a Hemingway fan could desire, with pictures, sayings and the right drinks; Because, as is probably well known, Hemingway was no slouch when it came to hard liquor. The drinks menu is correspondingly varied. The food is difficult to judge because you can only eat one dish. I liked my pasta with pesto better at the Italian restaurant. I should have stuck with the bistro cuisine! Good, friendly service.

Perfect evening at [Pizzeria Sale & Pepe Familie Amato] – A real Italian experience! We had a wonderful evening in the restaurant and can only recommend it! The food was simply fantastic – everything from the starters to the dessert tasted excellent. The ingredients were fresh, the dishes were authentic and prepared with a lot of love. The ambience was great too: cozy, stylish and just the right amount of Italian flair. You immediately feel at home here and can enjoy the evening. Special praise goes to the service – attentive, friendly and always professional. Waiter Max in particular created a great atmosphere with his relaxed and charming manner, which made the evening even more pleasant! We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to the next time. Grazie mille!

I ordered a rump steak. As a rule, the waiter should ask me how I would like the steak. Didn't happen, so I'm assuming Medium. First came the salad, which was good. Then the steak and 5 minutes later the fries. Unfortunately the steak was British, too “bloody” for my taste. The fact that the side dish didn’t come until later was a shame, but that was really, really a shame! After clearing away, we no longer ask how we liked it, no sorry - nothing. Very unfortunate. The ambience is really very nice. A lot of potential is wasted here.

Absolutely perfect service. Upon request, my chair was replaced with an armchair. The service was very friendly and accommodating throughout the evening and - despite a long weeknight evening - didn't even look at the clock. Food was also delicious. It was also great that fresh mint tea was/is on offer. We'll be back. Thanks to the team☺️
