Shato Grill & Steak Café und Restaurant in Offenbach am Main

At first glance a nice terrace. The tables are huge but uncomfortable for the legs. You would have to wait 15-20 minutes for an unfriendly employee to come and take your order, and even longer to pay. Service just terrible. Quality of meat lower than frozen all inclusive food. Wines taste like vinegar and cost from €7 per glass (I estimate a bottle costs €3-4). Prices don't even correspond to half of what you have on your plate. Most of the things on the small mixed plate were burnt. Lamb 3 tiny pieces on a small wooden skewer. One of them is full of fat and costs a whopping €25-35 per person, although it doesn't come with any sauce or salad. Bread cold and hard to chew, fries just the same. Staff overwhelmed and somehow without desire. Audience: mostly (older) people who don't pay attention to quality. No feeling of Turkish hospitality that we always enjoy. We have never experienced anything like this in a snack bar. So never again!!!

Went to this restaurant spontaneously on September 21, 2024 because we were staying at the Achat Hotel. food was really damn tasty. all dishes were well seasoned and hot. Before the main course there was a delicious lentil soup, followed by a really extraordinary salad (I've never eaten that before). the portions are really huge. When we're in the corner again, we'll definitely take a look again.

Were there on a Saturday evening, it wasn't that crowded, the location and the music were very pleasant, but the service wasn't really that nice. We were often simply ignored. Our food was forgotten. The gentleman in the green shirt couldn't have shown us better that he wasn't interested had to serve us as soon as we asked something, he always answered annoyed or didn't answer at all, which is a shame Otherwise very nice :)

Very nice beer garden, the service was very courteous and nice, but not too intrusive. We had chicken skewers with rice and salad, lamacun, and extra fries with tzatziki. We were also served plenty of fresh, juicy bread. The food was fresh, super tasty and plentiful. There is something on the menu for everyone.

Will not visit the restaurant again: the price-performance ratio is inconsistent. I had No. 152 plus two wheat beers = EUR 34.50. Four occupied tables in the outdoor area yesterday at 8:30 p.m. and still lame service, which also brought the wrong food to my visitor. A clear NO, not a recommendation.

I knew the location from before when it was still Creole and wanted to try it out again because there is a beautiful garden. Unfortunately I'm pretty disappointed. The food was not particularly well seasoned and poorly presented, like in any Turkish fast food restaurant. Unfortunately, the salad decoration was wilted and not nice to look at. The service is very friendly but unprofessional. You haven't quite finished eating yet, and plates and glasses are already being cleared away. Orders are only partially delivered and if you ask, all you get is a shrug of the shoulders. They don't even ask you if you want drinks or dessert. Price and performance therefore don't quite match. The live music would really be a unique selling point, but the music is usually too sad. That you become very melancholy. The tents in the garden are a good idea, for this rainy summer, but you can't have walking difficulties, as the poles on the ground are not properly secured, there are unfortunately many tripping hazards.

My chicken skewer was very tasty, the fries still have room for improvement. The skewer had nice grilled flavors. The service was impeccable and the tea on the house was great (thumbs up). Cozy outdoor chairs. Personally, the music was too loud for me. There are wet towels at the table.

The staff is incredibly friendly. We sat outside and it was just like being on vacation. From young to old, all guests seemed to have a good time. Now to the food: delicious!! It was so delicious that we went back two days later... and have already planned the next visit. The Shato Grill really has the potential to become one of our favorite restaurants.

I'm having a really hard time giving the store a proper rating. I'm so glad that there is this steakhouse near me but so many mistakes happen that are no longer funny, for example you order a starter platter that just doesn't come and there were only six people in the restaurant. Then you order a shandy and gets a normal beer. You order a salad with bread. It is said twice that the bread is coming. But in the end there is no bread. When the main meal arrives you are asked what the starter was like, which of course you didn't get. In the end there isn't even an apology saying, oh forgot the appetizer plate. You now get nice baklava for dessert. Oh the beer was wrong they get fresh real beer The shop is visually beautiful and you can sit comfortably in it. Even if the benches have become very worn out, you can still sit on them well, the tables outside are wonderful with sun protection and always a light pinch of wind, so you can sit outside nice and fresh even in summer. But should that be important or is it important that the food is impeccable and what you order arrives on the table? Sorry, I can't buy anything but I have to react quickly. The problem is that there are two waiters with so many tables, so the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and forgetting products or bringing products to the table incorrectly makes a four star rating or five star rating impossible The whole thing has happened to me a total of three times now. I will go again, but only in a few months in the hope that things will go better then, but I don't think so because this has happened again and again in my last three visits in the last six months. Or maybe the owner doesn't want to control the store or control his employees because these mistakes occur when the owner doesn't train his people properly

Ordered mixed plates for one person, where in the picture it was supposed to contain two lamb chops, but didn't get any. Only when asked was they told that the lamb chop was sold out and that chicken breast fillet was added instead. After further discussion it is also said that the picture on the menu where it clearly says mixed plates for one person is not correct, but is for two people. If this isn't a scam, what is? We came because of the good reviews, but we can't understand how they got them. Not a good experience and therefore not recommended!!!

I had dinner with my family at this restaurant, which is an interesting mix of restaurant and bar. The menu offers Turkish dishes, steaks and pizzas. The Turkish dishes were delicious and the portions were generous, although a bit expensive. The pizzas in particular were extremely overpriced and tasted nothing special. You can get tastier pizzas for less money at any Italian restaurant. The atmosphere has a distinct bar feel and the waiters were courteous and friendly.

Sat outside under cover on really comfortable chairs and service was quick and friendly. Both dishes (Pide, Iskender) tasted good and beforehand we were given a small dip with flatbread.

Very nice service. Waiter gave me recommendation for the best meals of the day. I choose lamb knee (number 195) as recommendation from waiter and it was absolutely amazing. Very good taste, nice soft meet right from the bone and as bonus very good salad. Atmosphere was peaceful with low volume music. beer was good and always fast on table.

Food is ok, even if what is on the grill plate is not what it says... Service is a disaster...totally overwhelmed everyone...wait for 1 hour for food...others come 20 minutes later to eat and you're still sitting there without eating...

We had the pleasure of staying at the hotel next door. In the evening we went to this restaurant for dinner and were warmly welcomed and well served. Large and tasty portions awaited us, pleasant atmosphere, quiet music and very committed employees. In particular, we had a young man named Firat who served us in a competent, friendly manner. Since we will be here for a few more days, we will definitely visit him and the restaurant again and again.

My girlfriend and I chose the restaurant because it was the best fit for both of us in terms of parking options and directions. But it was both our first time eating there. Went there last night. Great ambience (inside), very friendly staff. However, there is still a lot of room for improvement in the service - slight communication difficulties (not linguistic) - sometimes one hand didn't know what the other was doing - so we got a mocha on the house . Now to the "essentials".... we actually just wanted to eat a little something and then decided on a starter plate and 2 Lamacun - 1x with salad and soft cheese, which was unfortunately forgotten and served separately on a small plate and 1x with veal. We We're not really llamacu eaters, but this was one of the best things we've eaten in years - a straight A*. We were also enthusiastic about 2 small side salads, simple but very tasty - we just didn't know whether they were part of the lamacun or the starter plate, which was forgotten in advance and served together with the lamacun. Unfortunately, this was nothing. Over-fried baked sheep's cheese and fawafel , and almost cold. Normally we would have sent back the appetizer plate and the Lamacun with the forgotten soft cheese. Hunger and the taste explosion of the Lamacun prevented that. Despite the failed appetizer plate (I would have liked to have seen it like that in M.Nguyen's recession), the forgotten soft cheese in the Lamacun, the staff that was slightly overwhelmed for us (I counted 9 employees), a clear recommendation! If we're in the city again, we'll be happy to come back - maybe the "little irregularities" will be fixed by then. Hope you can live with this recession.

Incredibly delicious and authentic Turkish food. Very fresh and flavorful! The portions are enormous, I would actually recommend ordering a smaller portion. The prices are more than reasonable and, in contrast to other restaurants, very affordable, especially when you consider the quality of the food and the portions. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, you get very good service and the waiting times aren't particularly long. The ambience is beautiful and the bar is decorated in an oriental style. I would recommend again 10/10!

We had dinner there with the family today. We had a mix of different dishes. The European food, schnitzel, steak etc. was good. Except for the schnitzel, the breading was too oily. I really didn't like the Turkish food (Köfte Izgara) at all. The fries tasted old. The ambience was nice, as we already know it from the past. For the price I would have liked a little more quality. I think a 3/5 star is completely justified.

Very friendly, courteous staff, nice atmosphere, modern and comfortably furnished. The menu is very meat-heavy, but that's to be expected at a grill house and there is generally a vegetarian selection too. Price performance is definitely feasible.

Authentic cuisine, pleasant atmosphere, motivated staff. The prices are completely reasonable (if you want something cheap, you're better off going to a kebab shop). I recommend you. Hopefully you will last longer than the previous operators of the different culinary cuisines. (Warning: the peppers are spicy)
