Very friendly hosts. Very good food. Small menu, but everything homemade. Unbeatably cheap. Quaint inn. You feel like you've been transported back in time. We docked three boats on the shore and came here on a recommendation. We'll be back. 🙂

One of the LAST quaint restaurants left in today's chic dining scene. Managed with love, heart and mind by the owners for decades. I was here with my parents as a child. There is hardly any consistency these days, which is why guests love this place. The motto is: I am not here to run for you, but you are here to wait for me. And we love doing that again and again. A big thank you to Leni and Horst. We were there again today and it was another experience We hope to be guests and almost friends here for a long time to come.

A little journey through time. I remember the “Ripplinger” restaurant around the corner from grandpa and grandma’s apartment. At that time. In the 1960s. I was able to refresh my memory with the beautiful view. Staying overnight in Bürgel for work, I stopped here after an evening walk on the banks of the Main. And wasn't disappointed. Authenticity is very important here. Even as a “foreigner” (Sarrois) you immediately feel “at home” here. And you can also revel in the golden 70s in the boom times of the OFC and the FCS. It was a lovely evening. I'll be back at the beginning of June. Definitely! 👌

A traditional "Ebbelwoi" (apple wine) restaurant with loving hospitality from a warm-hearted couple who seem indestructible. Go there and simply feel at home.

Good old little village pub with little space and only a few dishes, but these are home-style and delicious. The couple are veterans in Bürgel and very popular. Always my pleasure.

Alte und gemütliche Gaststätte mit prima Hausmannskost.

Wir waren Abends dort. Gut, dass es solche Apfelweinlokale noch gibt. Viele Stammgäste. Keine große Karte und nicht wirklich etwas für Veganer oder Vegetarier aber die Qualität stimmt. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Eine der ältesten Gaststätten im Stadtteil Bürgel. Das Essen ist immer perfekt zubereitet und der Wirt ist immer für ein Gespräch zu haben. Die Atmosphäre ist wie eine Zeitreise sehr urig und eingesessen eingerichtet. Auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen.

Keine durchschnittliche Allerweltskneipe, kein Schickimicki, sondern ein echtes Original!

Uhrig rustikal echt und direkt. Wer gutes regionales hessisches Essen schätz und keinen Schnickschnack braucht ist hier richtig..

Dort ist es mir noch nie passiert, dass ein Gericht nicht warm auf den Tisch gekommen ist. Die Auswahl der Getränke lässt auch keine Wünsche offen. Ich fand das Angebot außerordentlich ansprechend. Das Gasthaus ist klasse leicht zu erreichen! Die gute Verkehrsanbindung macht einen Besuch rasch möglich. Sicherlich komme meine Wenigkeit hier mit meinen Leuten her und kann mich darauf verlassen makellos betreut zu werden.

Een authentiek eetcafé gevoerd door een ouder echtpaar. Het eten is eenvoudig, lekker en zeer betaalbaar.

Ich würde sagen eins der letzten Originale in Bürgel. Wenn nicht Das letzte! Sehr persönliches Ambiente. Kleine, aber gute Speisekarte. Preiswert! Geführt wird die Gaststätte von einem älteren Ehepaar! Aber es ist unwahrscheinlich, dass die Wirtschaft später einmal von Nachfolgern weiter geführt wird. Es ist also höchste Zeit so eine einmalig uhrige Gaststätte noch einmal kennen zu lernen!
